Cristina Crespo: I had an excellent experience here. I have had 2 MRIs in the past and had to press the emergency/panic button thing because I'm EXTREMELY claustrophobic. I had been dreading this MRI since my doctor prescribed it SIX months ago...had I known that Nico (& the other two techs whose names I didn't catch) made me feel extremely comfortable. I was having a bit of a hard time staying still because my neck has so much pain and I have dry skin so I kept having to itch after gritting my teeth for several minutes. Nico came in an comforted me (though I'm sure he was probably frustrated with me because it took a lot longer than expected-oops) But, had I known this experience was going to be so much better than the other places I've been to? I would've gotten it done months ago!!! Thank you for being so accommodating!!!
Danielle Bullough: Actually got me in a little early. Both techs working, Nico and the other gentleman whose name I didn’t get, both did all they could to make me comfortable, blankets, music, checking in throughout the rest to make sure I was ok and even stopped to show me the images when it was finished. The woman who checked me in was also super friendly and helpful. My thanks to all of you!
Debora Schneidt: It started back in March made an appt, they rescheduled my appointment because of some scheduling issue. Then had to reschedule it again for new machine being put in 3 times. Wheni finally arrived at my appt 3 months later guess what I needed a pre authorization, aren't they supposed to already do that. Then there was a problem with another scrip that only made a appt for 1 out of the 2 I needed. Now this last mri I had they didn't send the report,I called them about well later and asked couple I come pick up a copy of my report since they didn't send it to the doc, they said yes. Well I didn't make it before I went to the doc s , I figured the doc would have it since my phone call,NO they didn't. I just went today and they told me I, me could not get a copy of my report because they are a 3rd party. I'm done. Now they guys who do the MRI's they're great but the rest of the operation definitely has flaws. I will not be going back.

Shannon Katterson: This location was very prompt. The gentleman working was very professional and made me feel at ease getting the MRI. They gave headphones for music and let you choose who you want to listen to.location was for the 12 mile and dequindre mri center
Wendy Hobert: Just came home from mri on neck and shoulder. Mark and Nico are the best. Mark greeted me promptly signed papers was super polite and helpful. Asked questions seemed very caring. During the mri he explained everything gave me a blanky and put on good music . He was very concerned about my comfort. During testing Nico kept asked if I was ok. I was so comfortable I could have fallen asleep. Mark and Nico went above and beyond. A+ job!
Greg Harrison: This review is in response to the billing at Oakland Imaging and it's awful. A few years ago I had imaging of my neck and back. It was a WC workers comp case to which I gave them the case number on multiple occasions to get this resolved. 2 years later I got collections on this account from Summit collections. I called Oakland several times to resolve this issue and was told they switched billing systems and misplaced many accounts in the transfer and had missed the deadline to properly bill my account. I was told it would be handled but to no avail they and Summit continue to defame my credit for a billing error on their end and refuse to accept responsibility and want me to pay for their mistakes.
angelita loyd: I never had an ultrasound this painful before, at some point the technician pushed down hard as she could until I told her stop that hurt, she stopped instantly but had such a stone look on her face. I truly believe she did it purposely. Typically I always have good experiences here, but yesterday's experience was awful.
K S: This is probably the worst medical facility I have ever gone to. (And I've gone to some pretty bad ones!)When I made the appointment I was told their address is on Dequindre. Strictly speaking, true but that's not where you go to get an MRI; you go to the office on Twelve Mile Road between John R and Dequindre. I found that out when I arrived at the Dequindre office. The check-in process went well; a few forms, plus I gave them a copy of the CD and Report from a previous MRI done at a different facility.The MRI went well enough, though I had to stop the MRI shortly after it got started, because the sound-blocking earphones they provided were useless; the loud banging startup noises were literally painful. Once they gave me ear plugs in addition to the earphones, everything was OK.It was a few days after that the problems started. I requested a copy of the MRI report, to which I am entitled under HIPAA rules. They refused to provide one, even though I insisted that these records are MY records, not theirs, not the requesting doctor's. They insisted I had to get the doctor to authorize release of the report to me. After several phone calls with several people, apparently the called my doctor's office, were given the clearance they wanted, and mailed the report to me.When I received the report I noted the line "No prior MRI exams of the [subject area] are available for comparison". Wrong! See above.A week or so later I had an appointment with my doctor to go over the MRI results. They hadn't received them, so we had to postpone the discussion. Fortunately it was a phone visit, so at least I hadn't shown up at the office for a visit. There ensued a number of phone calls over a couple hours, during which I discovered they had indeed faxed the results, but the faxed them to the wrong number! So I had to call my doctor's office (again!) to get the phone number to which the report should have been faxed. Then I called Oakland Imaging, gave then the number, and asked that they fax the report immediately. To their credit, they did.Over the years I have gone to many doctors and many diagnostic test facilities. Never have I experienced such horrible service. And never has the bad service been so bad that I have posted a report of my experience on a review site as a warning to other potential clients. Until now! Avoid this place!
Diana O: I saw the low rates here and I was in shock! Because I have been going there for little over 7 years and I absolutely love the place! They are always nice, kind, caring , loving and best part they work so fast and the respect they give me is outstanding!! And I personally have been refusing to go elsewhere! Derek Nagler: Quite literally the worst I've ever been treated by a front desk receptionist. I happened to check the reviews only to find that my experience is not unique.I was referred to this ridiculously staffed place by my GP because of severe breathing issues. I waited 3.5 weeks for an appointment only to show up and be told point blank I can't be seen because of a clerical paperwork issue Taylor at the front desk was unable to sort out while I waited. She then almost gleefully and absolutely without apology told me the soonest they could see me again was in 2 weeks. The atrocious lack of empathy that was displayed as she literally threw my reminder card at me across the front desk was horrifying. I was referred because of breathing issues that have caused me severe problems and not a single bit of urgency was displayed around my personal situation.I don't even want to take my follow-up appointment at this doctor's office if this is how they're going to manage their staff. it takes a special person to be in the healthcare industry and what I saw out of Taylor today certainly missed the mark.
Devin Belt: Don't go here! I only went because I was referred by my Doctor's office - Preferred Medical Group. I am no longer going to either because of the numerous inconveniences. There's a good reason this place has the ratings it does and I'm surprised they even have 2 stars. Don't say we didn't warn you ;)
Jay I.: The receptionist up front for general surgery is awfully rude. You literally cannot ask a simple question without her catching a nasty attitude. And when you call to see a status on some paperwork you submitted, they give you the run around + everyday is a new lie to why it hasn’t been completed.
Doug Symons: I echo the sentiments I've been reading how they've received billing statements for procedures performed year(s) ago. I've called twice now regarding the $410 co-pay they claim I owe - for a procedure that allegedly was performed in March/20 - a week after I had hernia surgery and in the midst of a pandemic! Too add to this, the diagnosis they provided was erroneous - big time erroneous - and it's costing me a fortune in additional tests to validate the fact I don't have the condition these imbeciles said I did! Run fast, run far before going to this place.Absolute and complete incompetence.
Jeremy Farr: Absolute scam. Had service 3 years ago, paid bill and now I am receiving bills from them stating I never paid. They outsourced their billing and now I have a brand new bill and they are telling me I have to research my financial records to show that I paid it. Complete scam.
Music (Me): I understand outsourcing your billing to save money, but did you really have to go with the absolute most dirt-cheap overseas call center you could find? The customer experience is absolutely atrocious. Once I FINALLY manage to get this stupid bill paid I will never be back.

Tracie Whitaker: I had an 9a.m. Mammogram appointment. No one told me I would be waiting an hour just to get back there. I am not happy as I had to move my therapy appointment.The crazy thing is I have watched people go back who came before and after me. This is not cool! Please ensure expectations are set up front.
Sarah: Did not make it past the rude receptionist to even get an appointment made. First impressions are important & she blew it. I gave her 4 tries to answer the phone and make an appointment. Each time she rudely placed me on hold ( for 10-17 min each time) the final and LAST time I will ever call there - she slammed the phone down after I sat on hold for 10 minutes. Maybe it was time for her to go home for the day , so easier to slam the phone down than kindly take a name and number to call me back the next day - if needed. After reading other reviews I realized I’m not alone with being treated poorly by their staff, which clearly need to have some training in customer service skills. Will not step foot into this place now. I will also share the info with the Dr who referred me to them. They shouldn’t have their name affiliated with this place. Totally unprofessional and rude.

All of my experiences at this facility have been great !Today I had an appointment for TWO procedures and I was in and out in less than an hour. Actually I was HOME within an hour ( I live four miles away ).Everyone I encounted was polite and professional. Please , give them a chance. Have a great day!
