Robin DeHayes: I was doing some very serious shopping. Was purchasing 2 bedding sets, 1 purse, 1 tote bag, earrings, 1 dress, 1 mirror 5 ceramic candle sticks, kitchen towels and some rugs. I made my way to the restroom and did my business. Unfortunately there was NO toilet paper in any of the stalls. I ended up using a kleenex from my purse. I found 2 employees and asked them for toilet paper and they gave me bacterial furniture wipes. Then i talked to the manager who was very condescending and when i questioned him he acted like it was bo big deal. How is this man a manager? Hopefully he found some or went to the store to purchase some!!So basically he threw away a 300.00 sale!!!I doubt i will ever return to your store! Your loss!Robin DeHayes

Mark Jackson: When the fitting room had no attendant for ten minutes I went looking with six items I wanted to try on. Approached two female employees asking for the fitting room attendant who couldn’t help. Finally one pointed to a large male at front of store. I went to him and asked to try on my selections. His attitude was that I was clearly putting him out but he walked to the back but as we approached he informs me it is the attendants lunch time and I would have to wait further. I said no I have no more time and was I forEd I needed to restock the items or wait! I again said no these are yours to keep and gently tossed the selections to his open arms. He started screaming I threw them at him and loudly orders me to “leave or be trespassed” .I turned and was walking to the door when he yells for another male to throw me out because I threw clothes at him! So the second male starts loudly ordering me out too. I was already on my way to the door. No problem I will never darken their door again.

Bertha the supervisor wasn’t any better had me do things that wasn’t in my job description. It was a whole mess, quit after 2 weeks n lots of people quit after me. Don’t work here if u value urself!! Bobby told me I just want a chill job and that I’ll never get an easier job, well he is dead wrong.

I went back the next morning with my receipt and tried to do an even exchange for the same hat, just without the hole, and the manager refused. I pointed out on the receipt it clearly states 'Refunds Within 30 days with Receipt' and that I was just trying to exchange it, and again she refused, and told me that it's my responsibility to check for defects before purchasing. Worst customer service ever.

They have such a huge variety of things there and it's much bigger than the Marshalls near my house so I love coming here when I head over to 12 and dequindre to shop. Just all the clothes they have all the home decor. I mean they got it all there. I mean honestly, this would be one of the greatest places to get like a huge gift certificate for for free or like a prize. Like spend the night at Marshalls and everything that you can fit in as many baskets as you can fit. You can take home would be yours lol haha. Such a great location

Soon thereafter with no pressure whatsoever...Donnell Hollister...fine rug specialist showed me a line of rugs for a new cabin up north. I had no intent to look at or buy a rug (or rugs) but ended up with 5 solid choices for the main room/kitchen and entry points. Got a GREAT deal on a rug I took home that day.If you need a great wing/rug man..Donnell will show you the light!

Ken Rowls: Went to pay a bill, and I found a $600 suit on sale 60% off! It fit perfectly! Don't even need alterations! Of course I had to go to the "smell good" section, where I bought YSL on sale, which had a few gifts attached to it. I was telling them when I buy cologne, I want Parfum. In the plastic box, there was a sample of Parfum, but the bottle was Eau de Parfum! I took it back in its original condition, letting them know I wanted Parfum. They basically exchanged the bottle of Eau de Parfum to Le Parfum. I had to pay extra for Le Parfum, but they let me keep my gifts. Now I know I have to pay close attention when it comes to the colognes they sell!

ppr 007: I recently visited TJ Maxx and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I mean, I was actually greeted by friendly staff who were genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed. Can you believe it? In this day and age, where customer service seems to be a dying art, TJ Maxx's staff went above and beyond to assist my friend and me.Overall, I had a great experience at TJ Maxx. The staff was amazing and made me feel like a VIP. The only downside is that I spent way too much money on great deals. But hey, that's the price you pay for an enjoyable shopping experience, am I right? TJ Maxx, you've won me over with your killer deals and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back for more.

Erik Spreitzer: Good selection of footwear for all needs. Women's section is about 4 times larger then men's but that's normal I guess. Clean store and polite employees.
Bob Beason: This is a good place to try on shoes, before ordering them from Amazon for 30% less. Thats what I did today after they refused to price match. Their "compare at" prices are completely made up not in reality with other store prices.
LaTrice Rines (Trice): Miguel the Sales associate was so helpful and understanding of my concerns with having the proper shoes for work. He was nice and told me he was just an associate. I think this kid deserves a promotion! Thank you for being so nice and patient with me. I found the best shoes for a great price! Great customer service hands down! Good job sir!

Erin R: First off I want to say thank you again to store manager Monique and store associate Tosha! They are the reason why I will shop DSW again. I ordered some shoes online and when I received them, they were worn! I took them back to the store and when I say I received the best customer service I am not exaggerating. Tosha understood my frustration and was apologetic even though the shoes didn’t come from their particular store. Then the store manger (store #29055) Monique assisted also and apologized as well while fixing the problem. These women are AMAZING! I don’t think I ever received such excellent customer service! They made up their own rules against the law of the state of Michigan. In my opinion, they are lazy to clean up. Only thing was they needed more workers at the checkout and the cashier's that were at the checkout were a bit slow. Other than that nice store.

Erin De Francesco: At checkout the cashier typed in the item number instead of scanning and told me the total was the original price when there was clearly a clearance sticker on the box. I told the cashier it was on clearance. She gave me a weird look, scanned the barcode on the box this time, and corrected the price. No apologies for nearly overcharging me by $28. I don't think she would individually benefit from this so maybe the managers are telling them to price gouge with a promise of a percentage of the profit. Just make sure the cashier actually scans the item at checkout.

vid 1900: JCPenney's is still in business in the mostly vacant Westland Mall.Place was clean and the displays were well stocked.All the employees seemed helpful.My grandmother actually found a bunch of clothes she liked!I didn't go in, but my grandmother said the dressing rooms were also clean. So take that as semi reliable secondhand information.Sales associate at the cash register was very insistent on joining a club and getting some kind of points. I had to explain that my grandmother does not use email and certainly would never be able to check her points or use them in any way, LOLI guess I give the guy credit for trying.

Risi: A pretty standard Burlington, they did have really good deals on shirts, I got quite a few for only $3-$4 each. But the line was about 20 people long and one of the employees called all the other employees (the ones ringing people out on the registers) to come over to the corner to take a picture together. I work retail too and it's fun to bond and take pics but not when the line is that long! A bunch of people dropped what they were going to buy and left.
Laurie Robinson: While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for (a new Spring jacket), the sales lady let me know that they do get new arrival shipments six days per week. Very helpful 👍I was able to find a new Adidas T for the warm weather that's right around the corner!! 🤞 And a cute burgundy, flannel "shacket" for next Fall on clearance. Love me some bargain's!If you haven't been, give it a half hour or so to browse... see if you can't find something!

Lucy Knuppenburg: There's JC Penney and then there's JC Penney at Oakland Mall. This store is the neatest and best organized department store around. They carry all the usual goods, and seem to have more choices and a better selection than other Penney stores. A good destination if you are looking for special occasion dresses.
Andrei Mihoc: BEWARE! The jewelry department sold me 14k gold earrings that broke after my wife used them three times. She did not sleep with them or even wear them all day. I bought them monday, they were broken by thursday. JCP refused to do anything about them.
Martha Smith: Great sales this time of year. I feel sooooo bad that I can't remember the sales rep who waited on me and my sister's. She was super amazing. She went way beyond the call of duty. She literally went out of her way to make sure everyone got a scratch off coupon. Even if they were rude! My apologies,I really wish I could remember her name. All I know was that she was an African American. Anyway, God knows who you areand how you were so helpful. So He'll definitely reward you.

Kim Smith: Store was very neat clean girl in dressing room made my g.daughter ☺ smile with pleasant conversations ty...she's graduating soon they lol because she never guess she was 17 young man at the cashier counter was also pleasant n helping us aswell as his co-worker young lady had to re ring all my items over ...it was ok though she was appoligetic but I it was fine our overall experience was a 4 it would be a 5 if T.j maxx allows me to pay my credit card at the cashier register like all other department stores corporate needs to update the systems to do so...
T C: Decent selection of clothing but being treated like a criminal before and after going into the fitting room is ridiculous. I won’t be back to this location. Making the customer hold up each item of clothing before entering and after exiting is a little humiliating. If you want to count the items you can have the staff take them from the customer, count them and bring them to the fitting room to hang them up as well.

Sheila puglia: I spent nearly an hour here jan 6th at 4pm I stood in the check out line with my arms full because again there were no carts. there were 3 cashiers. The one in the left was checking someone out the other two had there lights on so I asked if they were open. They said the woman in front would check me out then one of them walked behind me and took that woman to check out while I stood there with my arms full. This is unacceptable. They were so rude I dont think I will ever enter this store again. I left my stuff and walked out.
