Shelby Linnenbrink: I went to WWMS from 2008-2011 and while the teachers were decent and the learning experience decent, they way that they handled bullying when I was in 6th and 7th grade was atrocious. The problem I had with bullies didn't get "resolved" until I was in 8th grade and even after talking to the counselors and the VP at the time and having my mom get involved, the bullying still didn't stop. I know that there is bullying at every school, but I would recommend sending your kid(s) there if you want them to get a decent education.

Holman and mrs.kapernick are awesome.

We said the pledge of allegience before class each morning and everyone felt safe. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Yocum 3rd grade. I was saddened by the negative current reviews.

For seventh and eighth grade i love this school it was a quarter of a mile from my house i would walk to school everyday in the summer and walk home the teachers were nice and also the principal the sad part is that since i moved in 94 times have changed in this neighborhood it's getting worse and worse every day and it needs to stop i know when i went there i knew everyone and everyone knew me i had no enemies all the teachers adored me its when i moved that everyone missed me and things changed the city of Warren is no different then living in Detroit glad i moved to Macomb twp love it here but do miss my old neighborhood and my old friends

I have filed complaints with the mayors office of Warren along with the board of education!! I don't care if I lived across the street from Lincoln Middle, I would DRIVE my boys to Roseville or even Eastpointe. At least they actually care about the well being and SAFETY of the children whereas Lincoln has a tolerance for bullying and children can be assaulted without notifying the parent??? In front of the school with teachers and security present??? Great job Lincoln Middle, especially Mr. Lawson!!! Thanks to you, I strongly suggest any parent in the district either home school their child or drive them to another school. You will never see my boys in your school AGAIN!

Sage: Some teachers are bad and some are good. The people are either SO funny or annoying. Try the cheese filled pretzel sticks, those are good. I haven't gone a day of school without laughing. But ever since the kill list the principal had a mental breakdown and made so many new unecessary rules. Certain classes give too much homework, but others are fine. And there are a bunch of people bullying.

J M: I would give this school ZERO stars if I could. My child has attended Carter since 6th grade. I have got into several verbal arguments with the principal. She likes to argue back. She is NOT professional at all! She is not friendly, and her staff follows with the same crappy attitude. The "secretary" in the front office has to be one of the rudest people I have EVER encountered. She acts nice when the principal is around. She has been very rude every time I have called the school or have picked up my child from the front office. I can eventually see this school getting shut down. Very poor performance. I am not surprised this school is rated two stars!! If I would have known what I know now, I would have never sent my child to this school!

Gordon Wolf: School policy on bullying is non-existent. A student threatened my son saying he had a gun in his backpack and the administration did nothing. My son has been told repeatedly by this same student that he should kill himself. Zero action has been taken. The administration doesn't take gun threats serious in an age where school shootings are a daily occurrence. Their explanation was the kid is in a "special needs" program and apparently that's what passes as "action" in their opinion, pushing the blame. Totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this school t ok anyone.

Brooklynn McNabb: I’m going to keep this short and simple, (something Carter Staff admire). This is my first year here at C.M.S (8th grade). The first day coming here I was approached by a unpleasant look given by the principal, Mrs. Hendry. As first objective I obviously just thought maybe she just didn’t recognize me, or nothing major. Let’s speed the time. About 6 or 7 weeks in school I was experienced with bullying. I did bring it to the counselors, (wasn't my main intention considering they didn’t do anything but just talk to the person you’re including). Of course no action was taken when I still am experiencing being called a hoe, etc. The kids who intend her are incredibly outrageous-acting. Just recently this girl went up to my locker and punched me in my jaw so I repeatedly swung, and I got suspended for 10 days along with a 165$ ticket to the warren police even though it was self defense. And the funniest thing about that situation is that the principal took the other girls side almost the whole time even when my mother came to the school to talk. I can’t stand it here, also the teachers aren’t very, well... how do I say this- “educated” because the way they teach in not only my eyes, are incredibly unnecessary and not the right way. I don’t have a very good name for this school as my friends get bullied as well, but maybe you will have a good experience here. (I doubt it). Carter's students made me look at myself differently considering I am being called a thot, which is stupid. Benjamin Jakubowski and Kenny Long are definitely the kids you don't want to hang around.
