Timbo Whalen: Have been doing hobby shops for 65 of my 71 yrs. First walked into Prop Shop back in 1983 while in the thick of the rc nitro boat hobby, and I can honestly say that Tom and Matt are the best. Very knowledgeable, and really fun to do business with. Met other enthusiasts there on Saturday mornings for some 'bench' racing.Just great people!

James Lundberg: The Prop Shop has a vast selection of RC aircraft parts and accessories that I was looking for as prizes for the Radio Control Club of Detroit"s Fun Fly event this last Saturday. Matt, the store's owner served me well and provided RCCD special deals on the large number of items I bought for our Fun Fly event. The Prop Shop is a critical supplier for RC aircraft and other hobby models in the northeastern Metro Detroit area.

Terry Mattox: Great treasures! Friendly staff.
J A Moga: Very friendly staff.
Orion Zeller: Wonderful hobby shop with great staff! Bought a new locomotive and it ended up having motor issues, so I called them up and exchanged it with no hassle. Love their product selection and great prices! Would shop there again.
Fredrick Antoun: I mainly went in to look for Gundam model kits and was blow away by the large selection and VERY good prices. I expect I’ll be back frequently.
Jon Leszczynski: Definitely a good shop for models, trains, and RC stuff. Also has plenty of other hobby, game and science project type stuff! It is LARGE store.
Shelley Beaudoin: Great staff, lots of selections in railroad hobby and plastic models. Prices are fair and the staff is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. We try to visit at least every 2 months and it's well worth the trip for us.
Brian Pulliam: Great selection of everything hobby. :-)
DD Riley: Nice selection of hobby supplies. Best train store in Michigan!
Todd Pratt: Great place, they have it all.
Harvey eichinger: Been going there for 20 yearsBest selection love this place
Tom Paul: I've been going there for quite a few years and have never had a problem. Polite staff, great selection of anything you want, trains, models, die cast, dollhouses, crafts etc. Yes, some prices have gone up because of the ridiculous inflation of 2022 but prices are far far better than the catastrophe in Flint. I'll keep shopping here.
john woog: I have been there several times I LIKED IT AT FIRST But never again will return I Just bough a used big 0 scale steam engine with steam problems I DECIDED TO TAKE IT SOME WHERE ELSE BECAUSE OF THE VERY RUDE HELP ESPECIALY THE TALL GUY WITH GLASSES AND ANOTHER MAN WITH GLASSES. its a shame because I paid $600 for it Never will I return there.
Jacquelyn Schwanz: Super amazing staff that are knowledgeable and eager to help a kiddo make the trains go. Very fun place to go and find unique models and train sets!
Alan Garavaglia: Great place to browse and spend. Have everything you want or need!
DD R: Always helpful and well-stocked.
Mark Gianotto: Tom is the best
James Stapleton: Wow what a great selection
John Marlow: Great for all of your model needs
Tyler McGonnell: This is by far the best hobby shop around. I have 3 stores within 4 miles of me and would rather drive the 15 to go to this store because I know I'll find what I want. If not I can quickly order it up, as they seem to have almost every connection you need in terms of model making. I do alot of table top stuff and have never had an issue getting any kit, paints or tools that I would need to making something. The service is good, they answer phone calls quickly and never have been rude to me even when they were slammed in the 11 years I've been shopping here.
Rick Romick: Great selection of everything. Will for sure go back.
Christopher Swanson: All the good stuff!!

P & D Hobby Shop: what do users think?
Timothy james Beardsley: Loved this place wish they were just remodeling and opening back up. I purchased my traxxas parts there.
Darrell Noble: Always was one of my favorite places to go to get parts for my lionel trains and accessories. I'm going to miss this place.
Jane Elliott: Is now cleaning
DragonFyre Stormbringer: Stores closing out... Trains, RC parts, single paint bottles, empty shelves.. All for desperate close out sale. Another sad victim to the post covid economy.Sad to see it go like so many other hobby shops.
scott randall: Thank you and your incredible staff for years of wonderful Service
Timothy Bohannon: Nice place !
Willie Thomas: Sad to see what at one time was one of the best hobby shops in the area going out of business.
David Meitz: Top notch on the rc, great staff works well with the newbie. Also great train knowledge and supplies.
Jon Leszczynski: Sadly they are closing.
Darrett P: Huge place with a lot of interesting hobbies from trains to model rockets to remote control cars. Very sorry to see them go out of business from having a brick and mortar establishment. Good to know they will still be doing online ordering. Shame I discovered them so late in the game as I have
Brian Cylkowski: Closing
Joe Soehren: Great help and service always has most of the time has what I always help has a lionel service repairman independent does after work hours at home.
Raymond Jackson: Really good stock. Some may complain about prices, but at least they have it. Friendly and knowledgeable train people too!
Brandon Lake: Great if you drive Traxxas. But doesn't have any inventory for arrma 4x4 3s.
Steve Kufchock: They are very knowledgeable on Lionel
Top Dog: Really helpful and nice staff, they couldnt use what i had to sell but they made calls and found a buyer. Didnt have to do that at all considering they made nothing from the transaction.
Timothy Mccall: I stopped by the shop Looking for an RC car found one there spent over $400 have the car less than two weeks and one of the tires blew out The customer service I received when I went in the store was really no help at all They didn't offer me any type of assistance With my problems just told me to call the company And You would think if you spent that type of money that they would offer some type of help And they pretty much looked at me and said Too bad we cant help you It's sad but I feel like if I was a different person I would have had gotten different customer service I'll have to stick to the shops in my area
Stavyu (GamerKid): I bought a server from this place, and put it right on my car, plugged the batteries in, turned it on, put the body on, and it literally didn’t even work. I went back to the store to try and get a refund or at least get a replacement, but they wouldn’t refund it, or replace it. Terrible service, wouldn’t recommend this shop.
Chad Coble: I love the staff here they are super nice and EXTREMELY helpful with any questions I have had! Good selection of r/c models!
James Watkins: Really cool place. The kinda place to make you feel like a kid again. I walked in and expressed my interest into the RC cars and nobody cared to talk with me about them or even ask what I'm looking for or price range I'm looking into. Also they are a bit expensive. Oh well, I guess I'll try elsewhere 🤷‍♂️
rickie schodowski: ALWAYS a nice place to get my supplies. Been coming here for over 15 years. What happened to pat? I know Don passed away from a auto accident he was a good friend of mine. We always talked about my f-4 phantom days... Thank you rich

RC Clubhouse: what do users think?
Brian Compton: I have had great experiences all 3 times I've been there. Great selection of parts in stock. Track is pretty awesome. People have been very helpful. I had lots of fun!!!
Michael Myke: Bill and Melissa are two of the best hobby people you could ask for. They are my first choice for all my r/c needs.
corey mckenzie: Had a blast . Track is well maintained with full service hobby shop .
Chad Denman: What an absolute awesome place! Owners are incredible! Racing is super respectful!! And the way the owners went out of their way to help me with a part (that I have been unable to aquire) and then... They gave it to me off a used parts car for free!!! If your not supporting local hobby shops? Then your doing it with l wrong!... That's all I'm going to say... Thank you RC clubhouse for all and everything you did for me that day... I will be back for sure! Next time I hope there's a 3xl hoodie or t-shirt I can purchase to tell everyone up here(2hrs 18min away) how they are doing it wrong by not supporting LHS... THANK YOU
Christopher Wheeler: I’m not saying this is a bad place but my experience was not good. I called up here to get two of my nitro rc trucks fixed because I didn’t have the time. I spoke with John via text because he was busy and explained to him in detail what I needed done to what truck and that my spending limit was $500 and he told me he could take care of me. Now this is where it gets bad. I drove over 45 minutes to this place on my lunch break at work just for him to tell me he didn’t want to work on them! Why the hell would you tell me that you and I quote “would take care of me” then when I drive 45 minutes proceed to tell me that you don’t want to work on them. The repairs would of been within my budget so it’s not like I couldn’t afford what needed to be done! So I wasted a hour and half and gas just for you to tell me no when he could of said that over the phone the night before. Nothing had changed from what I told him about the trucks the night before it was more like he didn’t want to do it. Once again I wouldn’t of been mad if he would’ve just been upfront and honest with me when I spoke with him over text then to waste my time and gas. Like I said I’m not saying this is a bad establishment but my interaction with John was horrible. Me being the nice guy I am I still tipped him 20 dollars for his “time” and went about my day with out causing a scene. I could of easily drove 20 minutes to Larry’s rc or 30 minutes to P&D which i regret not doing. I could of stayed on the clock at work making money , instead I wasted my time!
William Thomas: That place is awesome amazing
Tim Aigner: Great high bite clay track. Plenty of room. Great hobby store run by Melissa and her pet squirrel.
Huntire: Awesome track good people and helpful
clark kent (blaksuperman1): Always a good time
Brian: I used to race 1/10 scale buggies in the 1990s as a kid. I always enjoyed every type of hobby grade radio control vehicles. I currently race nitro rc boats with local organizations throughout michigan. Anyways, I heard about this place and that it has a fantastic indoor clay off-road track for rc car and truck racing and decided to check it out. I was blown away by this place! If only they had race tracks like this when I was younger, I would still be racing cars. I spoke with the owner and several employees and they are very passionate and friendly. They said that they are constantly changing the track layout to keep it interesting for the racers. They answered all of my questions about different classes of racing offered, the rules for each class, and encouraged me to get back into off-road racing. The owner explained the current technology in motors, batteries, and esc's to me. What models, classes, electronics etc... are the most popular and competitive. What I found was also nice was he knew my situation and explained that you can be competitive without buying the highest grade kits and electronics which was nice to know and refreshing since he has an in house hobby shop and could have pushed high end items only to try and sell me a set up to race with. So I appreciate that kind of no pressure style sales and honesty. The racers were starting to arrive at that point so I let him go back to running his business while I walked the pits and talked to many racers getting setup to run and they were also very friendly and helpful. I stayed and watched about 6 races and they were run efficiency and we're very exciting to view. Some fantastic racing took place by very skilled drivers and I was very happy to see the hobby is alive and doing so well. All ages and genders participated and overall just a fantastic experience. This hobby shop/track is top of the line and I suggest anyone who races rc, is just curious about it, or needs parts for their rc car to definitely check the place out. I have been back several times since and though I have not taken the plunge into racing off-road yet, I see myself getting involved in the near future. Just need to find the time to fit it in to my schedule and budget. Great place that treats you like family the first time they meet you. That seems to be the way most types of radio control hobbies go as well as other local hobby shops and tracks too in the area. So do not be intimidated to visit these businesses if you might be interested in the hobby because all of them are friendly and want to grow the hobby. That said, this is a top of the line race track and business to check out and caters/specializes more towards the organized racing aspect of the hobby.
Chad Helvey: Great facility. Clean pit area. Really good track prep and traction is superior. Although the shop was on the smaller side and they did not carry Tekno parts.
jason: A great RC track. Everybody there is friendly and more than willing to help with questions.
Braedon Joyce: This place is amazing. They have almost everything you need from traxxas to losi. And the prices in the pro shop are better than amazon
Tony Widen: They are awesome there. It was an awesome first experience at an in door race track. They taught me so much already about racing my car. Thank you guys so much today was an awesome day for me on my b-day.
Tom McKay: Great place with a nice track.
Darrell Scott: Great place it has alot for racers
Jonathan Strolle: Well, what can I say? Second visit to rc clubhouse yesterday. Had an even better experience this time. Bill was extremely helpful getting my b74 race ready. Carl C. who was there practicing hooked me up with a set of broken in tires. Legit. Track is sweeeeeet, and so are the people. Facility is very clean. Go visit.
Zachary Hoffman: The owner and his wife are always super nice and helpful. They are always willing to work with there customers. If they don't have what you need they will order it for you! Over all one of the best RC tracks I have been to!!
Jerry Sweet: Great place clean racing.
Ray Barnas: They always have the parts I need and are very friendly and comfortable to ask questions about anything.
Adam Ross: This is the absolute best indoor track there is. I can't say enough about the facility and how clean it is. The owners are always amazing help on and off the track. The crowd is great and I have no problems letting my kids be kids there. The racing action is what keeps me coming back for more. If you have been you know. If you haven't been what are you waiting for.
