P J: My experience was awesome. It was better than my experience with other companies who made me feel like it was a scam. I see all the reviews about this company and my experience was completely different. But only time will tell which is why I gave a three rating for now. Once the program is completed I will update my review. I have experience with the filming industry, and ofcourse everything cost money. The price that this company charges is for less than the prices that other companies are charging. They reiterated multiple times that they are not a talent agency and that they do training to help you learn what you need to know for the filming industry. I hope the training is legitimate. The only thing that I don’t like so far is that they don’t give you copies of your pictures you have to print them off yourself.

Thomas McEachern: Fantastic people to work with. The coaches always have engaging classes which makes it fun. They also give tons of great information and tips to help each individual further their abilities and career. If you are looking for a place to get your start, this is it.

I love the classes they take you step by step even when your struggling i totally recommend everyone come to studio group the teaches coaches staff everyone is so kind and nice and they really help you do what you love! What’s your name: I am attending the weekend work shops that the professionals in the business teach, and wow! They absolutely put their heart into teaching us. The group of us students are fun to work with and the teacher guides us through learning and if it wasn’t for them, we noticeably wouldn’t know how to bring out the best in our self’s, it’s truly amazing to have that kind of guidance and mentorship, it makes me excited. If it wasn’t for their expertise, whatever it is they see in all of us and getting us up their in front of an audience is not only what I personally need, but they make it fun and makes me want to further develop my skills and get better. I guess they don’t call them the best for no reason, they love what they do and truly want us to succeed, this new and exiting chapter in my life has re kindled my joy for life and I can’t wait to see what the future holds going further working with the studio group.-nick name: Captain America

Ellie Gault: Unless you want to spend $2500 for acting classes with the promise of showing you to agents I would abandon this scam.There is another review by Sarah Lavey that is identical with my experience here.I’d say the most positive part was two middle aged men telling me my smile was pretty and one of them asking if I had a sister.

Azaria Poplar: Uses intimidation to get money out of young girls, misleading you into thinking that you're coming in just for a audition but then coerces you into paying them for tuition. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable. And didnt take no for an answer.

Amy Jamison: I’ve been put in this position by the studio group. My headshots were taken in November of 2021!!!!! I have yet to see them, I haven’t heard anything back after contacting the studio countless times! I’ve called 6+ times, I’ve sent emails, I have even driven 2 hrs out of my way at least 4 times! I have contacted you about my photos. I’m sorry, but this company is not professional. What excuse do you have this time? How does it take over a year and 4 months to get someone the photos they PAID for?’ If the transmission of my car didn’t just go out you’d be talking to my lawyer! This is absolutely ridiculous. I had so much hope for this company. I never even got the chance you promised me and I PAID for! And now Bc of my position, I fear even if I get my headshots, you won’t pick me now Bc I’ve stood up to you and gave some attitude back regardless if it was warranted or not. I’m thru letting people step all over me. I paid for those headshots!

Sarah Lavey: What started out to be an exciting experience ended in a very awkward one. I took my daughter in for a “commercial audition”. We had a great talk with a lovely woman whom gave some meaningful advice. But then, two men took my daughter into a room for this “audition”. They called me in afterwards, telling me that my 8 year old, even with no experience, got the job. But, I have to bring her to these “classes”. I was quite confused at first. They asked my daughter if she understands the meaning of commitment, over and over and over, to the point that we looked at each other with concern. One of them even shushed the other one at one point saying “I’ve got this”. Right in front of me.One of the men then escorted my daughter and I into another separate room to close the deal. He started putting a great deal of pressure on both me and my daughter, asking if we’re “going to do this or not”. Bear in mind, we were just coming in for a commercial audition. So absolutely blindsided and confused as to why they were talking to me as though I signed up for something I hadn’t, I started asking questions. It became quite clear to me that this wasn't for a commercial at all, but for money. They said I need to pay $395 NOW (before leaving) and could pay the remaining $1,995 on a monthly plan. This was a “discount” from the normal $2500, by the way. When I said I needed to discuss this with my husband, he demanded that I’d better call him, RIGHT NOW. When I said my husband would not be available, he responded that I’d better text him then, RIGHT NOW, asking my daughter if daddy is supportive and if daddy would want what’s best for her. After making my daughter extremely uncomfortable and ordering me around with no success, he started throwing pictures of other random children on the table, saying to my 8 year old daughter “I guess I’ll hire her! Or her! Or her!” He was acting very frustrated and irate. After some very guarded (on my end) back-and-forth, I managed the opportunity to end the conversation by apologizing that my hands were tied and I didn’t want to waste anymore of his time. I was so uncomfortable. I left as peacefully as I could, even asking if he’d like me to close his door on my way out. I was so happy to get out of that office.I was raised amongst 2 tough and tumble big brothers. I am a mother of 3. I am the top executive at an accounting firm now for 17 years, I am no weakling. Let me tell you, this was brutal. This was one of the most awkward encounters I’ve ever had in my entire life. It upset me that my daughter had to experience such a scene, but perhaps it was a learning experience. For us both, indeed.I have absolutely no desire to hurt anyone’s reputation, but this is my duty to report this, I wouldn’t be able to sleep otherwise. It was not a good situation to be put in. Please be careful, please just use caution. I know I will.

noah oetting: Big ole scam that’s all you need to know. Any good review Is fake. The west side is known to be scammy so it’s no surprise. Do not waste your time. They don’t even have a sign up front lolI called the only working number(Michigan number) and told them I wouldn’t come in. Dude called me back super upset and unprofessionally crying that I hung up on him.

Victoria Dann: Still waiting to receive a refund that was supposed to be issued well over a month ago. Everytime I call I get the run around or don’t receive a phone call back. Unprofessional and clearly money hungry 0/10 would not recommend.

Kari Murphy: It was a joke. Had an appointment for my daughter for an audition but was never seen after a two hour wait. When I confronted them about it made a rude comment about me bringing my young child. Very unprofessional and not kid friendly. Just Want your money for classes and jobs you’ll probably never get.

Taylor French: obvious scam. i went in for an audition to do a toyota commercial script, and right away they were begging me for money for some "tuition" to teach me how to act. i came in for a chance to get paid, not to pay for acting lessons. they told me themselves i was the best one in there, so what is the point of paying to be any better?i wasted three hours worth of gas to get there as well, and the second i told them i was unemployed, i was scoffed at by one of them and the rest basically went silent and sent me on my way. absolutely scummy people, unprofessional and only wanting to drain your bank account. i will make sure every single person that even thinks about acting or voice work will never step foot in their incredibly small, cramped, poorly managed offices.

Robin Eggertsen: i am currently taking classes and have enjoyed the classes I have taken. I have some knowledge in the business because my son was an actor in Los Angeles so I understood quite a bit before. But I have always struggled with Improv and was really scared to take the class. Nancy Skinner who taught that class set me at ease. I actually would like to take more of her classes even though It scares me so I can become a better actor. Thanks Studio group for having great teachers, I look forward to my showcase!

Paul Willockx: Seats were not up to what most theatres have now and volume was too high. Other than that a normal movie experience.

Louie Luthor: This theatre is amazing, the seats recline, very soft possibly lazy boy brand, and the cinematography on the screens is top notch and the surround system makes it feel so real when watching the movies
