Kristin Zivojnov: Nice trail, good for dogs.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Evan Post: Went on a 1 F day this winter with kids ages 3-12 and our dog. It was a perfect shorter walk in the cold. There are lots of spots to stop along the river, climb around on little hills and logs, and a cool building in an open meadow with some underground tunnel/waterway.
Gina Khamo: A nice little hike to take with our dogs. It was pretty busy, but I guess that is to be expected this time of year.
Candyce Abbatt: 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 Dog friendly easy trails in a beautiful setting. Best local collection of native plants 🌱 and grasses. 🌾Three loops through prairie, riverbank and maple 🍁 trees. Limited parking on Evergreen. Popular spot for family photos. 📸
Katia Mac: Nice place for a dog walk.
Todd Griffin: Beautiful atmosphere
Joe Heideman: Took boys for great walk
Keith Brandt: Keith Brandt of Brandt Real Estate, located in Michigan, highly recommends this ecstablished.
Sherry Johnson (Choclatekiss46): It was nice area
KiD C.: I had fun
Jackie C: As good as an experience you can get at any Pizza Hut. Not the most gourmet pizza, but as authentic as it gets to the stuff most suburbanites grew up eating. Nice staff, and understandably crowded on evenings and weekends.
Brock Grady: Such a cool spot. I prefer to stick by the water for a better scene. Autumn is a lovely time of year to go. Parking is limited and be careful getting out.
Stefany Kulczycki: Pretty place!
Mohammad Rizvi: Nice trail but the white people will stop you because they think the park is private property
Marc Thomas: Nice little preserve with a winding path along the stream. Except for a couple photographers, not many people were there on a nice Sunday afternoon.
Shelby Kalicki: Very nice and peaceful walk through the preserve. Was very happy I stopped by on a nice day out. Always enjoy going on a walk outside throughout nature.
Bartley David: Beautiful, not too hilly.
Kamrin Shafer: Great park around a cute little river, roadside parking is a little annoying.
Sally YaYa: Such a beautiful and peaceful area.
Nick: Bigger than we thought. Was a really nice walk along the river.
Lizzie West: Refreshing heal your soul

Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center: what do users think?
Nathan Zhang: The place was literally on fire today. It was a controlled burn, or so I'm told... 🙂Playground: It's a nature center, and you want a jungle gym? It's got miles of scenic trails, and you want an obstacle course? My, what an entitled, selfish generation you kids are. (Just kidding.)Restrooms: The restrooms are available even when the rest of the building is closed. Enter through the side door to access. The men's restroom is where the frogs fish tanks room used to be, around 11 years ago. I know this because I used to work there, in 2011-2012, as a volunteer.Dog-friendliness: Keep your dogs on a leash or the occasional bear will eat them.Picnic area: Picnic tables are a bit mossy.
Erica G: Clean with refrigerated water dispenser inside and bathrooms. Trails are clearly marked.
Snow Kitten: Love the bike trails!
Ednilson Kimura: I could not imagine these animals could survive the winter
Joe O'Dell: Nice needs more maintenance by park staff but there a place with 2 benches on the shore of a small river that the water babbles and is very relaxing , if you have hiking shoes you should wear them cause the ground gets wet and the amount of trees shades the trails and they do not dry fast can be slippery and no animals allowed in nature center . Very quiet to . Nice
Patty K.: Beautiful day, lots of peopleRestrooms: OkDog-friendliness: Lots of area, waterPicnic area: Well kept, early yet
Nicole L: Beautiful park, just need to get rid of those twirly spinning tulip shaped seat things at the playground by the beach, I've seen little kids stuck in them several times spinning but can't get out, and my kid actually got a bloody lip when she got stuck in there somehow it was quite scary. Other than that this park has so much to offer, especially on weekdays when no ones there.
Cris D: Nice place to visit to see some stuffed birds and other animals on display as well as some live turtles and snakes and fish. They also have a bird feeder in the back of the building that attracts all kinds of birds (and squirrels too).
Scott Grace: Interesting displays, nice atmosphere, good for family's with young children. Nice trails by river
James Farrah: Nature center was great!
Alice AM: El único inconveniente es que no es Pet friendly
Jesse R. Brown ND: This is a great place for all kinds of outdoor activities. Cycling, skating, swimming or sun bathing at the beaches. You can also camp, have picnics, observe nature, enjoy water sports, visit the nature center, learn about herbs and the local flora n fauna. There is so much to do and you don't have to go far to get here!
