Ross Medical Education Center: what do users think?
Kelly Mallory: Anyone out there fail the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam after completing entire course/externship? I ended up with a 3.8 gpa at graduation but the Exam was nothing what I studied for??
Winter Frame: I am currently a student here-I have really high anxiety, Im the type to need constant help and reassurance and understanding peers and instructors. This place has truly shown kindness, patience and understanding people! I could not be more comfortable here at Ross! Everyone is really there to help you succeed at your future career and provide sources along the way! They are soooo willing to work with you on just about anything! I highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!
Rene Lynn: I would like to know why the amount of the school tuition is not up to DATE FOR THE YEAR ON THE SCHOOL PAGE??????
Beauty At its best: The worst ever i wish i never even signed up they put you through so much with money problems dont care what you have going on nothing as long as they get what they want ill never refer anybody to ross as much bs they put me through HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED ‼️
Rich Husband: WARNING! THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS BELIEVE THESE OTHER REVIEWS BECAUSE IT'S TRUE THIS INSTITUTION HAS BEEN SUED OVER 10 TIMES FOR A REASON.
daniel robinson: This places is terrible my girlfriend went here a few years ago and then when she finished she didnt get her degree and recently she wanted to go back to school for medical billing but when she called about a transfer paper they said they wanted 1000 dollars for one transfer paper I dont think anyone she go here
Takira Robinson: They are very helpful and understanding and I only been in school here for two weeks
The High Tribe Television (THTTV): Was slightly interested in going here but after reading the reviews I’m just gonna trust the universe and go to Uni instead.
Jenna Nicole: Biggest scam of all time. Don’t waste your money.
Donna Price: Not worth the money. Got my certificate in MIBOA and now I’m working at a gas station.
Sarah Todd: I have enjoyed my time at Ross and my instructors were great.
Sharun Williams: Waste of money! Should have stayed at Ivy Tech were they actually care. Administrative is rude and disrespectful. Everything is unorganized when it comes to tests and lectures. If you have any problems or don’t understand anything you will have to go home and figure it out. Assistant Director is very rude and unprofessional. The instructors will assigned you mentors every module Staff shows favoritism towards certain people my experience here at ross fort wayne, In campus has been horrible i have 2 months left and i cant wait to be far away from this place.
Coleen Clayton: The staff is great and the experience I have gained here has prepared me for the workplace.
Adelina Stokes: I'm having a great experience with two of the best instructors at Ross. Learning a lot and having fun while doing so. The staff is great!
Tanisha Sutgrey: I am presently a student at Ross and the experience, has been wonderful. with Excellent Teachers and Staff.
tanika coleman: I’m a former Medical Assistant of Ross Medical I had Great instructors and The career advisors were excellent I remember Ms. Lucas was always there for me she guided, listened, give great advice I was placed at a facility that was challenging but with the help from Ms. Lucas I didn’t give up or quit this was my second time doing A Medical Assistant program I took years off in 2010 and when I re-entered the field I came to Ross.. I’m glad I made that call I wouldn’t of crossed paths with wonderful people. In the end the challenging facility didn’t want to let me go. I just want to say Thank You to Ms. Lucas and the whole staff at Ross Medical of Madison Heights..Love Tanika C.
sugafoot rochon: Boo, don't waste your time or money.
Jayda B: Do not spend your money or time here, especially in the billing program. Staff is rude/does not wanna do their jobs & you end up with the complete opposite experience compared to what they say when you tour the school. If I could go back, I would have never signed up at this place.
Deborah McGinnis: Everybody at Ross, to include the instructor, support staff and administrators care to make sure that I am successful. I like that they prepared me for the workplace in addition to the technical learning. I like the mix of "book learning" with hands-on practice. Definitely recommend.
Deborah McCloud: My clinical teacher is the best she help me a lot and the career services staff is very helpful and professional and friendly
Amanda Baronet: Don't waste your money. Try Dorsey or a community college. Not only is it a waste of $15,000 but if you have a problem they will tell you just to fix it yourself. when you go on your externship, you will probably do nothing. The staff is rude, the financial aid lady will lose your paperwork and then give you an attitude because she lost it, but she'll blame you. the staff is so hypocritical. you can't be late or else, but there they are not in class half the time, and late every other day. The staff is just unprofessional. If I could go back in time I would have taken people's advice when they told me not to go there.

Genanscot Services LLC: what do users think?
Carele Sampson: Very unprofessional the teacher there is beyond rude and disrespectful I wouldn’t recommend … I’m definitely reporting them beyond ridiculous I suffered so much anxiety
Anthony Hodges: Very friendly staff and knowledgeable
Alexus Anderson: The best school and instructor !
Tikki Gayles: Great testing site very encouraging nice people here I really felt comfortable taking my test here and of course I passed my test thank you genescot
Ms Jane: The teachers and the staff here is very professional and patient. The course was a breeze and very thorough. I would recommend anybody to this program that wants to start in the medical field as a nurse assistant. I really recommend it if you are going for nursing.
Past Customer: I do not recommend this site as a testing site, very understaffed and was there for 7 hours when written and skills took me less then 1 hour to complete but the proctor did the best she could due to the circumstances(I’ve did other testing sites and never waited that long)The waiting room was very small and filled and if you wait in the lobby you get told to return to the small waiting room with no seating. In my opinion test somewhere else.
Nakia Hicks: This is where I'm going to take my state test this month
Mia Tillman: I graduated from Genanscot January 5 2018 and received my state license February 17 2018. Ms Cottle and Mrs Jones are excellent instructors. EVERYTHING taught was taught in a way you can remember and apply. I graduated second in class and all because of the teachings. You are encouraged all throughout the class and even Job seeking is available. I am an Genanscot Angel! I'm so happy about my career path in the health care field. I encourage any and everyone looking to become a Certified Nurse Aide to register at Genanscot.

Warren Health Academy: what do users think?
Matthew Curry: Mrs warren is a great teacher to have best place to go to get your cna
Artisha Burg: I was apart of Warren Health Academy’s first class in 2010! I had a lovely experience. Mrs. Warren is an amazing person and educator. After completing my practical exam for state board, the examiner mentioned that she had never seen anyone as thorough as I was, and wanted to know where I was taught! I recommend everyone to Warren Health Academy. I am so happy to see that this school is still educating students! Keep up the great work Mrs. Warren!
Regina Davis: Very unprofessional no one ever answer the phone. Poor communication skills. Paid deposit and haven't heard from no one to verify my enrollment. No one making sure my application is correct and accurate. Or even confirm the fact I'm enrolled or that my application was successfully completed. Only thing I have is a deposit receipt. Dating when I paid the Deposit. Nothing stating when and where my actual class will start.
Karl Schneider: Excellent experience, great training, very personable staff! A quick and painless route to CNA certification
Ashleigh: Mrs Warren is lovely and accommodating, very thorough when teaching you nurse assistant skills. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to obtain their CNA.
green joebean: The best two week experience ever. I would recommend anyone come here for in-depth, thorough and hands on learning. I learned so much within the two weeks, met some of the most kind, influential adults here. Overall, Mrs. Warren is so inspiring and I will always look up to her. She may not have known me by name but honestly, I cannot thank her any more for the help she's given me. Thank you for everything- Samantha M.

Davenport University: what do users think?
Edgar Akkari: Absolutely ridiculous how they treat future students. Never reply to emails, don’t return phone calls, and they are very unprofessional when it comes to manners.
Mohammed Almalahi: I sent my high school transcripts to Jessica Cheriez and she told me I’m all set. She also ignored my emails I sent her regarding if I’m all set to go for the March semester. I’ve recently found out two weeks before school starts that my transcript was never received. I was told this by Lynn mills and she was very rude about it. Therefore I’ve decided to not come to this school it’s a joke.
Amr Khashafa: Lynne Mills came off very rude from the start. My friends and I wanted to join Davenport university. We talked to Jessica Cheriez and it went very well, until she ghosted us and didn't reply to our emails. We set a appointment with her yesterday and she didn't show up. We just found out that my friend's transcript didn't go through and theydidn't even say anything to us about it. Even though he sent it to Jessica, she didn't notify him that it has to be sent directly from his school. All three of us dropped the idea of coming here because this school is a wholebig red flag. This school is a joke. The reviews says it all.
Ibrahim Shohatee: If I could give this school negative stars I 100% would. The admission department isn't very helpful and it is very difficult to get ahold of them. I was enrolled into Davenport university for this March. I emailed Jessica Cheriez multiple times she ignored my emails. I’ve made an appointment with her and she was to busy I guess even tho we had an appointment that’s when I met Lynne mills and she came off very rude and aggressive with her tone. I wanted to ask her if I can switch my major but she wouldn’t let me finish talking so I kindly left the building. Super unprofessional I dropped all my classes for March and changing schools due to this unacceptable behavior.
Ladonna Lewis: Very happy with my time here at Davenport.
prathyusha davuluri: I was scheduled to give a Certification exam yesterday at this testing center and I find out that the building has been under renovation after arriving at the location. There was no one at the front desk so I had go inside the building looking for someone to talk to, and glad to find a couple of people who mentioned it to me. The phone calls continuously went to voice mail. I wish they had the decency to let people know about their situation at least through an email.
Alexandrea Fokken: If I could give this school negative stars I would. The admission department isn't very helpful and it is very difficult to get ahold of them. The financial department is useless. They will charge you extra for classes in the middle of semesters. I'm not going to name names but some professors will throw tantrums in the middle of class and fight with students over students thoughts. If you are in their nursing program, be ready to be belittled by staff and not scheduling clinicals or last minute paperwork that has to be done asap. Forget about being sick with a doctors note, I had so many classmates fail because they were sick, some even hospitalized. I did not have a good experience at all. My family even mentioned while attending the pinning ceremony that it was sad that they had to up lift themselves and never said anything about the students accomplishments. Oh and if a class is out of 900 points and not 1000 points you automatically get a grade lower than what is posted in blackboard. Clinicals are a jock, you don't learn anything and the teachers won't stand up for you to staff when they expect you to be more than you are suppose too. Teacher will continuously tell you that this is a job interview and you should be bending over backwards for the stafd. It is not a learning experience. Joke of a school. You are going to teach yourself more than the teachers will teach you. Beware I was told by staff I would not need to know things, and have it pop up on the nclex. They are setting you up for failure and did not give you the support you need to succeed.
Windex The pretty blue liquid: Davenport’s financial aid department is incompetent! People are constantly giving you the run around just to get you off the phone. I have nothing but problems with financial aid services, even the so called director doesn’t know what she is doing.
Tequan Hardy: Very friendly and helpful staff
Hope White: Davenport University is a friendly place to work and to attend school. Very pleasant environment. I have been employed at Davenport University for a little over a year now and I have enjoyed the journey.
Afzal Hussain: Surprisingly very green and clean lawn. I lay on it during the summer. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a student there though and I’ve lived around it for 2 years..
Angela Johnson: I must admit, this University have one of the most caring, flexible, knowledgeable, reliable, hands on, timely and committed Senior Advisor (Jessica Cheriez) you will EVER come in contact with. Based on my experience, Jessica consistently proves her self worth as a strong and effective leader whom cares about your education and drive to be successful on a continuous basis. Jessica; If you're reading this thank you for all that you do to make this University and their students highly ranked achievers.
Lois Pele: If you are looking to attend the nursing program here I am going to say, do not waste your time. This school is a complete joke. The advisor does not know anything, the nursing board does not care for your success, and there is no organization. This school is worth $10 not $5,000 a semester. You're better off applying somewhere else.
Melody Odum: I’m mad I have to give this school one star because they don’t even deserve that! I don’t recommend them at all. I was set up to attend another nursing school but spoke with a representative that made Davenport seem a lot better. So I applied to this school because they made it seem like it was a sure thing with getting accepted. I started taking general classes at the university that went towards my LPN program before it started. I was under the impression that this would establish a GPA for myself. I found out two weeks into my classes that they weren’t going to because they ended after the application deadline! I could have took those classes somewhere else for a much cheaper price! But I let that go and pressed through my classes. They told me that I had to score high on TEAS test and turn in my essay with references. I did all of the above and then some but still got denied over an issue with my transcripts. Then they made me request them to be sent over to say that yea we’re still not going to accept you. They were oh so helpful with getting me enrolled but when it came down to a simple error they don’t want to give me a call back or help me through it. They just said apply again next year. What makes you think I would want to return to this school??? This was absolutely devastating thinking that you had a plan to better yourself and it be shot down over something so little. It took me a while to be able to execute this. I wish I would have never wasted my time here. I gave up my spot at another school which pushes my graduation date back and now I have more student loan debt and out of pocket costs! A big part of picking a school is staff support along the way and after you’re enrolled here it’s clear you won’t get it. Don’t attend this school.
Jason Curtis: @Andaji Ghorardim - The issues you describe are inaccurate. Anyone who attends a university and has issues like that is partly to blame for the issues.Once you begin a program they have to continue to offer the classes so you may finish the degree they sold you. If you had to change curriculum maybe it was related to the "couple semesters" you took off? Anyway I dropped to half-time when I transferred to Davenport and within a year my program was no longer offered. Here a couple years later they are running a couple classes that were not even in the books any longer just for me so that I may finish my degree. By the way this happened at the CC I attended too. Programs change as the job market changes. They run programs they think are relevant to the job market at a certain time but since this always changes, so do their programs. Cant blame the school for that it is a business like any other and you don't sell things that don't sell for you. You get what you put in to your education. You can learn valuable information anywhere in any class if you apply yourself. That said. I still only gave DU 3 stars so why so low after defending them? There is some truth to DU maybe not being the best choice at least from my perspective. I hear the Grand Rapids and Lansing campuses are better for IT classes but at Warren and Livonia (metro Detroit) I have had a terrible experience. While they are offering me the classes I need they are offered in an external format (online). These are classes that I should be getting hands on with equipment in the classroom but instead I am at home reading books and faking lab work (could do all that on my own....). My experience with Cisco classes was far better at the CC I attended. Since DU costs twice as much, and its clear they do not spend the money on facilities, I just do not understand why this is the case.Overall I received the education I wanted but I would have had a better experience at another University. I am sure the Grand Rapids campus is okay but be leery of the metro Detroit campuses. Still I received my degree and I was employed already after receiving my Associates from CC. You can tell DU is trying to get better but they have quite a ways to go. Nonetheless I will graduate, I will be employed, I will receive my degree, and I learned something while I was here. As Andaji Ghorardim stated if you can you may want to weigh on other options. However if you are ready to apply yourself attend ANY university you can and I am sure will have success in your venture.Couple other notes, my adviser changed 5 times while I attended in 4 years so I think the staff sees this too. However the staff when there was helpful in terms of registering and scheduling of classes. Instructors were 50/50 in quality. For every good 1 I had I had a bad one too. Staff was not helpful when I voiced my need for equipment in my Cisco classes at first. After 3 classes without equipment I finally got another teacher who made sure equipment was brought from Grand Rapids to Warren so it was available. So speak up, you may improve things for other students and help DU see their faults. Remember you are a customer and they are getting thousands and thousands of your dollars so they should hear you out.
Andaji Ghorardim: Don't waste your hard earned money here. They keep changing the curriculam for each major on every other semester. Therefore graduating time going longer and longer. If you decide to skip couple of semester, you will be stuck here for another 1.5 years because the curriculam have changed by then. Their prices are going up and up and I was slammed with extra bills which they didn't mention on the intiial bill. Note to the future students, please keep track of your all financial data and spending, including financial aid and student loans, and the cost of tuitions and books. Have a seperate folders and it will save you a lot of headache. Job prospective is very low after you graduate from this non name brand univeristy. Better spend money on a community college and transfer to a reputable university. In this current bad job market in Michigan, this is the best you can do.
