Bob: I can't say enough about Dr. Coviak and his assistant Kaleigh. I was treated for a horrible infection and they squeezed me in on Good Friday and took wonderful care of me in which Kaleigh even worked through her lunch. A week later and I am doing great. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. I would never go anywhere else from here on.

Nancy Mikkelson: I initially booked an appointment for "whenever" as I wasn't having issues with my problem areas. Two weeks before my appointment, I was in great pain. I called to beg for an earlier appointment, and (1st kudos!) was given an appointment the next day. I arrived timely and was met with (2nd kudos) friendly and helpful staff, paving the way thru paperwork and insurance. X-rays and then the dreaded dental chair! I didn't have time to fret because the doctor was quick.(3rd kudos) Before I knew what happened, I was signing the consent to have my tooth and root removed! Now, I had been told, and reminded, that this appointment was a consult and further treatment would mean another appointment, so I was thrilled to know my pain would be resolved sooner. The banting and teasing of Dr Russ and the dental associates completely took my mind off the procedure (4th kudos) and before you could say "Bob's your uncle", I was leaving in total relief. Seriously, I can't recommend Summit enough, and the Macomb location in particular! I forgot, throughout my entire process, each person I interacted with asked if I had questions...and then paused for my answer!

Julianne Novetsky: First, I just want to make clear that the facility was very clean and attractive. The doctor who I met with for my consultation visit was also really helpful. In fact, my orthodontist specifically recommended I visit this doctor because he is one of the best.On that account, I hate to leave a bad review. The issue is that my visit was close to a year ago, and I am STILL waiting to hear back if my insurance will cover the surgery that I need. The surgery I require is often considered elective, but there are instances where insurance will pay for it. I have been trying to get some guidance on this matter since last year. My voicemails generally go unanswered. It's very discouraging as I have needed this surgery for many years, and would really like to move forward with an experienced doctor. Now I guess I have to start the whole process over again somewhere else as it will likely be another year of unreturned phone calls if I wait. I'm sure this place is great otherwise though, I just wouldn't know. I hate to be THAT guy, but I'm pretty sure nine months or however long it's been is long enough to get a call back.

Dominique STRONG: My husband and I both had appointments for the month of January to be seen for wisdom teeth extraction. We received our first bill of copay within the following two weeks, each of our bill was $209.00, wich I found kind of insane considering we both have pretty decent insurance and after speaking with the receptionist at the desk she explained that our insurance should cover most of it. After speaking to my husband about our bill and remaining balances for the extraction, we find out that we were being charge two completely different prices for the same exact procedure. Since then I have tried to contact the offices of summit oral but have not been able to reach anyone, or get a call back from one of the many voicel mails I have left. I'm not saying this place is trying to do anything shady, but I personally do not appreciate their form of communication and will not be have any other services preformed by this company.

Jennifer Mock: Absolutely horrible people my son took 2 sips of water and they canceled his surgery no big deal my son made the mistake when I explained I drove all the way from New York to be here for the surgery and begged to reschedule this week while I am here I was told it was up to the doctor when I asked to speak to the doctor i was told I would be CHARGED to speak to him charged to ask a two second question and the front desk was snarky and rude about it

James: THE BILLING DEPARTMENT IS SUPER SHADY! I paid for 4 teeth to be extracted in September 2022. They only took 2 of the 4 teeth at that time. I was told the credit would stay on my account until I came back 3 months later to get the other 2 teeth pulled and I would not owe anything.I came back in December 2022 and was asked to sign a new estimate sheet. The lady at the front desk said that their fees have changed and that I should have gotten a refund from the first surgery. I realized later that she lied about the refund check already being sent out in the mail.So now they wanted me to pay another $1200 for the remaining 2 teeth. Funny part is, they only took 1 of the 2 remaining teeth so I doubt I will see that refund either. So now they have $2300 of my money with my refund check somewhere in the mail. Keep in mind it's Christmas time and money is tight right now. I do NOT recommend this company.

lissa jacobson: I waited a month for my appointment; called the day before to be sure Summit had received the referral and xrays sent by email. They said they hadn't; I called back the office of the prosthodontistand they resent both things twice more until Summit finally found them in their email. They had me registered as having dental insurance, and I certainly don't and would never say that. I was also told the consultation visit would be no charge.The staff was disorganized and abrupt; the girl who sets things up for the doctor was acting like she was the dentist, telling me what I needed to be done, not asking me the appropriate questions and essentially getting it all wrong. Then the surgeon came in and after three minutes said he couldn't work on my case because he couldn't be sure of a positive outcome due to extreme bone loss and large sinus sacks. I am missing upper implant teeth that have no tooth at the back to hang a partial on so implants are my only option. The doctor left the room after his pronouncement and I was told to wait to check out. So I got my coat on, saw the dentist in the hall and went up to him to ask if he has any suggestions other than leaving me toothless. Then he told me about an implant called zygomatic for cases like mine. If I hadn't chased him to get this information, my visit would have been five minutes ending on "I can't help you." Then I was told the visit was $90, I said I was told there would be no charge, and the women at the front desk said there's always a charge. They asked who told me that and I couldn't remember her name, which wouldn't matter anyway because whatever number I had to call to schedule an appointment with Summit was not at the location I went to. So they told me I have dental coverage and I corrected them that I don't. I suggested they ask the dentist to cancel the fee as he can't even help me, but I was told they have a corporate policy requiring them to charge patients regardless of what the dentist requests. This is a corporate dental facility which, for me, makes the accountability of anything that happens go right out the window. You're not visiting an oral surgeon; you're going to a corporate run dental facility. I found the entire experience very disappointing and would recommend you finding a dentist who has his/her own practice or works with several others in one office. This way you're dealing with someone who has a reason to actually care, who can't hide behind corporation curtains.

Janice Evans: My first visit was for a consultation, the dentist seemed professional but the supporting staff did not impress me. But it was going to be a difficult extraction and a second appointment was made. When I showed up, they had no record of me having an appointment and wanted me to wait around for an hour. I had already needed to be off work for the morning and needed to be back on the job ASAP. The staff were unprofessional, disorganized, incompetent and did not offer an apology. I do not recommend this clinic. I will not be returning.

Even if they let you inside the patient room, you are stuck waiting for the dentist way past your scheduled appointment time. We all have lives and things to do and should not be left waiting. Make less appointments if you can’t fit in your patients at the discussed time slot.

However, it feels like they are more interested in spending your insurance money than understanding your "work," logistics so you can spend your insurance money with them. Doctors would not extend my medical release by 1 day. Only 3 are allowed via this office. My job requires 5... for INSURANCE and FINANCIAL reasons.

I put it off for years because I don't like the pain associated with anything dental related but wow did I have a pleasant experience at Summit.First off, the ladies work at the front desk are extremely helpful with scheduling and dealing with insurance. I had my initial exam and was scheduled for extraction.The night before my procedure I barely slept, I was going to be put asleep for it which made me feel a little better. The surgeon came in and started the IV, all pain free, very smooth and gentle and BAM I was out. Woke up with my teeth out with absolutely no pain or swelling. This is now day 4 after my surgery and I am still shocked I haven't had any discomfort or pain at all.I am recommending Summit to everyone I know who needs any type of oral work done.

Sara Stachura: After reading some of the other reviews, I am getting the understanding it is the staff in charge of making appointments and communicating with dr wolf (receptionist I’m guessing), that is the issue here. The communication seems to be very poor and the service I received was very unprofessional. I don’t often leave reviews, but having my time wasted during my extremely busy schedule has left me quite frustrated. I scheduled a consult with dr wolf months ago for September 30th, took the day off work, missed my college class, and drove all the way from East Lansing to his office because this was the only day they had available when I called months ago. When I arrived for my appointment at 2pm, the office was dark, locked, and closed. No answer on the phone and no option to leave a message. I am very frustrated to have wasted my time after waiting so long for this consult. It is very hard for me to carve out time in my busy schedule to make the trip to this side of town. I am disappointed as dr wolf has removed wisdom teeth for both of my brothers in the past so I felt that he was trustworthy. However, I will now be seeking business elsewhere due to the poor and unprofessional communication in this office.

Daniela Shamoon: I don’t often leave reviews, but I’m very impressed with the care I was provided by Dr. Wolf and all the staff at this clinic. I’ve never had any type of procedure done and was very nervous to get my bottom wisdom teeth pulled, but Dr. Wolf made me feel comfortable and at ease during my consultation and during my procedure. I was still experiencing pain a few days after my procedure despite following my after care instructions and called the office to explain my symptoms. Dr. Wolf was able to see me immediately after I called and immediately resolved the issue. It has been 2 weeks since my procedure, and I feel as good as new. If you need any type of oral surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Wolf!

Ronaldo Tabbilos: I called the office on Sep 5, 2020, and set up an appointment for a tooth extraction on September 29, 2020. A week before the appointment the office called me and stated that the appointment needed to be rescheduled because September 29 was a Jewish Holiday. I rescheduled the appointment for October 12, 2020. When I arrived at the office Dr.Steven Wolf stated that he couldn't perform the extraction, because he was overbooked. I stated my disappointment, and I told him that I waited over a month 1/2 for the procedure. He basically told me that he doesn't work the front desk and that he wasn't told. Mind You..... the x-rays were previously sent and it was communicated to him that it was a tooth extraction. The communication at this office is sorely lacking ,and I decided to reschedule my extraction with another Doctor. Very disappointing experience and a huge waste of time.

Colin Putters: I suffered permanent loss of feeling and taste after a wisdom tooth extraction. While I was warned this was a slight possibility and is likely just a freak accident, I do not like how I was treated by the staffpost-op. I first noticed the lingering numbness when I woke up the next day. The local anesthesia, gauze, and medication prevented me from really noticing any sooner. I called in as soon as I realized there was a problem and the staff seemed angry at me for not calling sooner, making me feel like I was responsible. On checkup appointments, the staff and doctor gave me the impression that everything would be fine and it'll be back to normal with time. 7 months later and no progress on the nerve healing.I do not appreciate Dr Wolf and his team causing permanent nerve damage, making me feel responsible for said damage, then giving me unrealistic expectations on what the rest of my life with limited (if any) feeling in my tongue will be like. My dentist gave me a more realistic expectation. While I might get some sensation back it's never going to be 100% again. Sad as it is, I can live with that.The chances of suffering permanent damage as I did are incredibly rare as I have come to realize. Maybe I was one of the few or only cases this office has even had and they were just a little shocked on what to do about it.To top it all off, I prepaid for the procedure in the office and confirmed with the staff that everything was accounted for. Apparently there was a dozen dollars left over that they got to send me a slap-in-the-face bill for.

To start, I called them mid June to schedule a consultation and was told the scheduler would be reaching out to me .After 5 days I still had not been contacted so I called back and was told they had no record of my initial call. I scheduled the consultation for a week later which was the earliest date they had available. After the consultation I was asked if I would like to book my surgery to remove my wisdom tooth. I booked a date 4 weeks out. Two week later I received a call stating that they needed to reschedule me from August 13 because the doctor would not be in.I asked why they wouldn't have informed me of that during the initial booking.They stated that the doctor had an emergency.I rescheduled for August 22nd.5 days before they called to say the doctor would also not be in on the morning of the 22nd and they needed to reschedule me a second time. I told them that I needed to be accommodated on that day because I had made arrangements with my work that could not be changed at the last minute with 5 days notice. They rescheduled me from 9:30am to 3pm. On the morning of the 22nd(5 hours before my scheduled surgery) they called a third time to tell me that the doctor would not be in and they needed to reschedule me. I am mind blown.Please do not go to them if you would not like your time to be waisted. It is an embarrassment that my dentist is actually referring patients to this surgeons office. So unprofessional.After a month and a half I still do not have an appointment and am now forced to set up a consultation with another surgeon and take more time off of work because of how unprofessional they are.

Jennifer Pearson: Alright, I was TERRIFIED of this procedure. I put it off for 15 years, despite occasional pain in my wisdom teeth and unsightly crowding. I finally got a nasty cavity in one and HAD to get all four wisdom teeth out, plus one regular tooth.I have general anxiety disorder and panic disorder, and am famous for running out of dentist/doctor's offices at the last second. But everything here went so great! From the moment I arrived! My wait time was about 5 minutes, everyone was super nice, and Dr. Abu-Seid put me at ease immediately.I was terrified of the drugs and the IV, but let me tell you: nothing hurt. Nothing was even uncomfortable! I was out within seconds and woke up in the recovery room feeling totally normal: no nausea, headache or "weird" feeling.I had zero complications after and am so excited to get braces this summer to finally get a perfect smile.If you're nervous: don't be! This is a great place to go!

If I had any discomfort Dr. Be would stop and remedy the issue which only happened once on the 2nd implant. I believe the medication had start to ware off. I was refereed to Dr. Ramirez from another surgeon they say me the following Day for a Consult on the 9th of August they pulled my surgery ahead to August 21st just days after the CT scan. Dr. Ramirez wasn't the one that did it, but it was a representative from his office. Before any of you clowns start the drug accusations know the person in question is a college athlete and his parents are in the dental profession and law enforcement. It's sad that you have to see your son suffer because politicians have you afraid to do your job and comfort patients. The law states you're allowed to prescribe up to a 7 day supply, we didn't ask for that, 3 to 5 would suffice of whatever was necessary.

Darrell VanPamel: I had squamous cell carcinoma and was out of options. With surgery the only thing left due to radiated tissue several surgeons said surgery was not an option and I was sent home to die. That is until I met Dr. Rameriz, thank you for saving my life.

My family started as children and now they bring their kids to the office. He has the most amazing staff. Christie always greets you with a warm smile, she remembers you and makes an effort to make you feel comfortable the second you walk in the door. WOW! Jamie is newer there, only because Michelle retired. The office really lucked out bringing her on. She is so concerned and straight forward about your health as a provider should be. Dr. Finn is very comforting, he numbs you without pain. He takes his time to make sure you understand what he is doing, Angie his side kick is a hoot! She really helps you feel at ease. This office really treats you like family !

Riley Taylor: Absolutely the best office for any Dr. I have ever been to. From the moment you call, Kristy answers the phone with a pleasant and familiar voice. She works hard to schedule your appointments to work with your schedule. And she is very knowledgeable with insurances. To Angie who is Dr. Finns assistant, really makes you feel at ease when you are in the room. Dr. Finn is by far the best dentist I have ever seen. He is a magician (see what I did 😊) when it comes to top notch dental care. Jamie the hygienist is outstanding at communicating my needs when it comes to my oral health. She takes time to make sure she does a thorough health assessment so nothing is missed. They will provide affordable dental care that works for you. I recommend this office to everyone I talk to. You will not be disappointed!

Zaynah Tripp: I never in my life thought I would say I love going to the dentist! I truly enjoy the time I spend at Dr. Lawrence Finn’s office. The women that work there are phenomenal! Kristy at the front desk is truly a peach and I love how she’s always on top of things and always calls us for cancellation and making things work for our lives and schedules. I have recommended this place to my mom. Now she, my husband and I all go and love it. I also have to thank Jamie the Dental Hygienist for always being real about how my teeth and gums are. Thank you Jamie for being so attentive and giving me amazing advice on how to take care of myself! The conversation we all have at this office are so personal and so funny. It feels like home every time I walk in. Everyone there does an amazing job. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a new office.
