Yvette Smith: The waitstaff is amazing, the roomWas your basic but beautiful banquet hall. The food however in my opinion was substandard, lacked flavor, the breadsticks still cold/frozen in the middle, potatoes instant and the kielbasa were more like hot dogs and actual sausage. The carrots and salads were great, as well as the Oreo fluff. Overall experience was good but the food not so much.

Kelly: I attended a baby shower here and my daughter has a dairy allergy. She spoke with a waitress to see what she could have from the buffet and the chef came out and advised her what was dairy free. Twenty minutes later, the waitress came to our table with a stirfry from the chef. She never asked for anything additional because she felt she had plenty to eat, but she was so thankful. They went above and beyond and left a great impression on us. Thank you to the staff of Gazebo!

Kelly Stables: I was there for my son's company Christmas party we had a wonderful time the food was so wonderful the appetizers the chocolate covered strawberries the banquet that they put out for us to eat was just the setup was wonderful the food was just delicious we had free photos at a photo booth of course I got four pictures with my son and they gave us duplicate copies it was a wonderful time and I'm so glad that they have their company Christmas party there every year it's always a beautiful wonderful time I would recommend going there if you have any big parties or events

Mary Campbell: Husband returned some warm weather bike pants flawlessly. Everyone were so helpful. Great discounts. Still the best place for bike stuff.April 2023, got my new water bracket and water bottle today and they are such a great store, used all our bonus points. Yippee.
Elaine Pearson: REI never fails me! The customer service is impeccable and helpful each & every single time. I’m a new camper and I walked out there more broke than when I walked in but listen…not only did REI take all my money but I walked out of there with every single piece of equipment I needed and so much knowledge and comfort in this new adventure. Todd is the MAN!! He was patient and awesome working with me! He had me try out the sleeping bags, the pads, explaining options and didn’t mind while I asked question after question. I don’t care what anyone says, REI is my go-to!

Scott Herzog: I haven’t been to the Troy store lately but wanted to express my appreciation for an online order that was delivered to my old address. REI stepped up tremendously and re-ordered my items and shippped them immediately to my new address. Unbelievable customer service and outstanding positive company composure and communication. I’ve been with them 19 years and will continue to tell people to shop here. Absolutely amazing service!

DeShawn Hayes: I’ll never shop at any other outdoor store after my experience here. Staff is friendly and PRESENT you can actually find team members to talk to. They have everything you can think of for your adventures even some items you wouldn’t think you needed. Great sales and a cool program you can enroll in for the deals.

John Dissimo: Barbara needs to wash her hands. Yes Barbara, you sell outdoor gear but you need to use both soap+water after using the restroom because it’s available to you in this bathroom (this is Troy, not a campground in the upper peninsula), it is a typical Michigan winter and flu/cold season, and DUH you are still a customer representative for REI. Disgusting.
Dominic Carino: Snow was sticking to my cross country skis, so I went into the Troy REI looking for wax. I haven't had a stick of snow since using the wax, that the incredibly helpful employees recommended for me to use. Thanks a ton! My cross country experience just got WAY better!
Jennifer Blackford: The employee that helped show my husband, daughter and I interested items was very helpful, friendly and well informed. I did not get his name sadly but he was very helpful showing us the light weight chairs, and a few other items as well.

The staff is the most helpful and honest, it truly makes you feel great as a member and customer to know they want to find you the best equipment for what you are personally seeking. Kyle was the representative in the back that was immensely knowledgeable and extremely helpful, Alexander was our representative in the front who cashed us out and was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Love how their member garage sale location is. We are very pleased and highly recommend this location.
Bobbi: In addition to having superior equipment, this particular location has quality customer service as well. 10/15/22 I made a purchase and didn’t notice until I was already home that I was charged incorrectly. I called the store to explain what happened, hoping I didn’t have to drive the hour back. Jessica Bertollini very promptly handled my issue, requiring her to go above and beyond any standard protocol. The customer service I received from her that day (and the day after) was outstanding, and I’m going to do my best to give my business to the Troy location solely from this experience. Thank you again so much Jessica! Just incredible.
