Macomb Center for the Performing Arts: what do users think?
Patty K.: Great graduate celebration
Mel Dem: Great place to see a show. Parking is ample and acoustics are wonderful. No complaints
Katherine Keenan: Absolutely amazing performance a few days ago! Loved the little mermaid ballet!! Love to see more soon!
Edwin Makowski: Staff is very helpful in helping you find your way around. Acoustic is very good. Only drawback...seating is very tight.
C Snyder: I enjoy this venue, especially for ballet performances and the reasonable pricing for tickets. I'm giving 4 stars, however, because I had a particularly frustrating moment during a winter performance when my then 6 year old daughter was hungry during the performance. The concession stand was closed at the time and *not one* vending machine worked. We almost had to leave in the middle of the performance because we could not access a snack or beverage, using cash, coins, or card. I was extremely disappointed, and it almost ruined our special evening. I *strongly* suggest making sure the vending machines are in working order during performances, regardless of there being concession stands. They aren't always operating when someone needs them the most.
Jack Levoska: Great staff. Great acoustics. Clean facilities. Decent prices.
William Chesney: Went to see RED HOT CHILI PIPERS! They were awesome if you enjoy Bagpipes doing rock music, which I did!
Angela Rodriguez: We took a school class there they all liked the Peter and the Wolf music and story
Teresa Luks: My husband and I took my Mom to see Hollywood Nights . This was one of the best performance . My Mom viewed right from her wheel chair . Not one bad seat at the Macomb Performance center ! Thank you for putting on an outstanding show ! The Luks Family
Just weatherJohn Durfee (Durf): Great, usher misinformed me. Other than that, great
daniel j. kunnath: Every seat in this place is pretty much the best seat in the place!!
Carol Ryan: Show was great!
Not No one: Friendly staff and the theatre is a good size so you can get a good view of the stage from anywhere you seem to be at.
Patti Cole: What a great venue.. wonderful place to enjoy an evening outGood parking alongwith a nice drop off and pickup area
Tom Torchia: Plenty of room very nice venue
Laurie Ferrari: It's a great venue for seeing a show. Not a bad seat in the house, really!
dan k: I cant get enough of this wonderful concert venue. We try and attend most of the shows. I really like the OP seating, close enough to hear actual voices over the mics. I think they have a nice mix of stars performing. Ushers are very friendly. Bar serves a good selection of cocktails. So proud to be a Macomb County resident when I visit such a beautiful campus. Dress seems to always be 'better' casual.
Nitty Gritty Mama: I have seen a variety of shows here. Not a bad seat in the house! I also really appreciate the children's shows that are only $10 a ticket. The last one we saw was the ugly duckling by. Tutti Frutti And it was just fantastic!
Mary MacNeil: Loved it! Macomb is a fantastic theater. It would be nice if there were restrooms on the second floor. A wonderful experience.
Raymond Patrick: First time going. Very comfortable and clean with a good view that's perfect for all seats.
Michelle Strader: Great theater that allows you a good view from almost all of the seats. Only negative is that there is not enough space to walk to your seat. The space in front of the seats could be larger so people don't have to hit your knees when passing through.

Inspire Theatre: what do users think?
Jacobs Home Base: A great community theatre with clever staging and enthusiastic casts.
Music 0723: Can’t believe I have lived in Westland for over 15 years and never knew about this place. What a gem. Been there for the last 4 plays which were excellent. Makes you feel you are at The Fisher! If you haven’t been there you are missing out! Highly recommend.
Rita Gibbs: Great plays for hometown entertainment. Adds culture to the community. Actors, management and volunteers make for a fun evening. They are all dedicated to bringing great fun and funny plays.
Diana Balduc: Ist time there, & it was great. Can't wait to see the producers in June. Keep doing 50/50 & the giveaways you do from the sheets we fill out. Good Job.
J: I went to see Boeing Boeing with friends at Inspire Theatre. The show was absolutely fun and funny, and the cast was so very entertaining. Inspire is more than a community theater, it truly is a gem among the many venues in the metro area. Thank you for a fabulous show. We are looking forward to seeing The Producers in June.
Mary Spongberg: What a great and hilarious performance by outstanding actors!
Robert Jones: Loved the show! It was my second show I've seen there and I cannot wait for the next! Keep up the good work!
John Marshall: Boeing Boeing was just another great play that we have seen at the Inspire theatre. We come to all their plays that they have put on in the last few years and this one was just outstanding! The acting was superb and the laughs and intrigue were amazing! I would definitely recommend Inspire theatre and all their plays. Also, managing director Len Fisher does a great job with the play and we love the way he interacts with the audience before the play and intermission! It was just a great night out!!
Anne Alatalo: The staging was outstanding.
dale sirkle: I have never been to a play here that didn't hold my interest all the way through. These are extremely well done neighborhood theater productions. I would urge people to come and see what they offer
Cathy Hardy: Loved the play. Actors were very good. It was my first time at your theater and will definitely be back.
Cathy S: Very nice little local theater, great show too!!
Dennis LeMaitre: Outstanding. Could not have had a better experience. If you have any interest in live theatre you owe it to yourself to check this out
Derryl: Play was fantastic as much as the staff! The staff are extremely kind and helpful not to mention hilarious. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
June Larsen: I went with a friend of mine and treated her to this because she wasn't quite sure if she'd like it or not we both absolutely loved it we had a lot of fun they treated us very well while we're there we got front row seats lol.A great time.
Scott Sinclair: Great local theater with comfortable chairs and everyone has a good view. Very personal space with talented actors. Always enjoy the shows here.
Erin Smith: Had a great night at the theatre with my fiance. Comfy seats, great show, and fresh popped popcorn. Couldn't have asked for a better evening.
Pamela Vardas: My granddaughter and I attended. The show and the actors were wonderful. We never stopped ok laughing throughout the whole show. I would definitely see it again.
Melodie Tobias: Have to give big props to the cast and others associated with the production of Clue which my friends and I saw Nov 4! It was so much fun to watch. I was extremely impressed with the acting and also how the changes in sets were handled. So happy I found this theatre gem right here in Westland. Highly recommend.
Steve S: Clue, the play, as advertised as a comedy certainly met that goal! The audience, a full house at the next to last performance provided lots of laughter during most of the 2 1/2 hr performance. Lots of scene changes, well done may we add as the number of rooms in the house was constantly being changed as the cast went from one room to another. Certainly not a boring performance ! The cast proved to be top notch, so to rule out who was the best performer would be unfair. They all get high marks for their efforts.Today's times laughter often is missing, as our world moves towards some uncertainty including our nation's political scene. "Clue's" storyline gave us some of that old fashioned slapstick comedy that usually draws a lot of laughs and this play and group that performed it did just that.We welcome back those who participated in future shows!Steve and Linda Sobel & Dianne Schlaepfer
Brandon Mickel: My family came to watch the production of Clue. This was my second time seeing a production here. They really do make the best use out of their space and are continuing to improve. The last time I was here the seating, while comfortable, was mismatched. I am happy to say that the seating has seen an upgrade. Initially, I was a little disappointed in the set design. It seemed a little too simple. However, Clue requires 9 different rooms and the start of the show was only the entrance hall. The set moved on hinged trucks that revealed much more elaborate rooms on either side. Also, behind and above the main stage was utilized for other rooms. in the end, the set design really blew me away and the acting was brilliant. I look forward to seeing many more productions from Inspire Theater.
