Close to Walmart, gas stations, lots of food and drink choices. Highly recommend middle eats across the street.Food & drinks: Great complimentary breakfast! Lots of choices. I was very kind to him and told him good morning. he did not respond and no smile . rude. plus, I asked him, may I get bottle of water for my toddler for the road. he resound you are silver . that is only for Gold and diamond member. it is 2$.I understand it is hotel policy. I use to work front desk. and I know how things go. he could say it in another way with a smile.He say it in a way that he make me feel I am not welcomed in the hotel just because I am not gold or diamond member!he need to learn to smile and talk in a different way!it was just a bottle of water not a big deal. but he offend me.

Nick Blackman: Stayed here due to power outage from the ice storm 2023.Friendly staff and clean well appointed rooms. Hotel was constructed fast to be sure. Some things like wallpapers coming off, restroom sink fixtures loose. Fridges, microwave, coffee in the rooms. Plenty of device connections and plugs. TV has xfinity cable. Local Bally sport, HBO and regular cable channels.Pool is small and there is no hot tub. Fitness room is stocked. They have one peleton, 2 ellipticals, 3 treadmills, free weights and cable weight machine.Breakfast is typical hotel fare. Each day different options. During our stay we had fried eggs, cheese omelettes, something like scrambled eggs. 2 waffle machines, one fresh fruit option, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, breads etc. Coffee is not bad. Couple of carnation creamers, and plenty of cream and sugar options. Decaf coffee was actually not bad. They have fresh cookies M-W.The Bed is very good. Noise from street can be heard. If your a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Speedway convenience store has it all. Even has Beer and wine. I believe even some liquor.Plenty of nearby restaurants.Note shop around for best spice. It varies widely among the hotel reservation systems. You can save alot by checking different sites.

Alicia Crumell: Great location. Many restaurants and stores around the hotel. It is directly next door to a speedway gas station. Staff was friendly. The room was nice. I love that they have hand soap and lotion in pumps already so you don’t have to use bar soap. They also have body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in pumps as well. I didn’t use those though. I will say the walls are thin. I could hear kids running up and down the hallway on the floor above me. I also could hear someone in the room above me FaceTiming someone (heard the FaceTime ring tone). I would definitely stay here again.

Rahmaan Thomas: We stay at Marriott whenever we travel as we are Marriott owners. However, this particular hotel does not follow the complimentary upgrade that is possible with our ownership level. As we do not have the top level. Only the Platinum and Titanium get an upgrade. Which is wrong on so many levels but I digress. On top of that they charge a $100 security deposit that will be increasing soon. Which should be on their website just like some charge for parking and someone can make the best decision possible with the available information. Probably won't return to this hotel due to this things. I understand that some are franchises and that fine but we will probably not be back. Also vent was broke in bathroom and you could barely breathe with shower on. I have attempted to contact the manager several times over the last couple of days. I keep being told the manager is not there but comes in at 9am. Called several times throughout the day and manager was not in. I also have not received any call back either. Also breakfast was not very good either. That should definitely get worked on. We stayed on a Saturday and checked out Sunday. It is now Wednesday and no call and have not been able to get ahold of the manager that supposedly comes in at 9am. Employees acted like you were bothering them. I asked for 2 additional towels as my family has 4 people. I was given the third degree just asking for towels. I had to repeat myself several times that there were only 2 towels in room and I had 2 children as well. The person at the front desk wanted the used towels first before giving anymore. Finally after about 5 minutes she went and got one towel. I had to again request another towels. She then went and got another.
Kendo That Video Ninja: Location advertisers as family-friendly. One hour after check-in we were told if we cannot contain our two-year-old son we would have to leave. Also advertisers as a smoke-free property. Every time we came in and out of the main entrance there was at least two people smoking. Due to an ice storm we were without power at our house for several days. Hotels stays we're our only option so we figure rent a hotel that is family friendly. At one point we checked in with the front desk to make sure we were being as quiet as possible and the front desk receptionist said maybe you should just keep him in the crib for your stay which only ended up being two days. Several times we mentioned to the front desk that people were smoking at the doors and we were ignored. The floors in our rooms look like they were very lightly ran over with a vacuum still hairs and crumbs all over the place and leftover confetti from what looks to be Valentine's Day which was a week prior. Everything below waist level witch is all in child's reach looked like it had not been wiped down and weeks. I travele 4 months out of the year for work and when I'm out alone I rent pretty cheap hotels when we are out as a family we always rent nicer rooms and for the price of this room it does not meet up to standards. I would strongly not recommend this hotel if you are looking for anything over 3 stars and or family-friendly. This is only a two star mid-level hotel at best. I hope my review is found useful to everyone.
Mistee Merritt: My experience at the TownPlace Suites by Marriott overall was pleasant.I was recently injured and needed a place to rest during this difficult time. I called ahead to reserve a room for myself. I SPOKE WITH Alyssa, who was the front desk receptionist. She was very polite and helpful over the phone so I booked one night. Upon arriving I was greeted immediately by a smiling receptionist who turned out to be Alyssa.I was in a lot of pain because of my injuries. Alyssa was very understanding and quickly moved through the process of checking in.The room came with a small kitchenette. Which was great! I was able to store food for my stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I felt so comfortable there that I booked two more nights. I was able to get the rest I needed and left refreshed. Breakfast was set out on time every morning and there was a good variety of items to choose from.The overall look of the hotel and amenities were good. I can't speak of the surroundings or nearby shopping as I didn't leave my room much. Although the hotel seems to be going through renovation, which Alyssa confirmed was happening it did not affect my stay ( I did not have a renovated room). I booked this hotel to rest and reset. I was able to do just that. I can't wait to see the new renovation.A huge thanks to manager Heather who was able to correct an error made. I was overcharged but Heather apologized and quickly rectified that problem. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would consider booking again in the future. As a person who works in customer service, I give them 5 stars for great customer service!

Mrs Wright: This was better than i expected. I just needed a night to sleep peacefully and got just that. The customer service from beginning to end was great. The room was nice in size, clean, and cozy. There was a full kitchen complete with dishware and utensils. There were a few mold spots in the tub. The breakfast was not what I expected though, I thought everything has been returned from Covid days. I didn't care for the egg souffle, the bagel was okay, and the tea options were limited. Most of the options were black tea. I did not visit the pool or the fitness area. The outside grounds were kept very well too. I would recommend this to my clients! As a licensed travel advisor, I enjoy visiting without letting them know I am checking it out to sale!

James Rivers: This is a nice out of the way place to stay. We were there for an over night event for my Granddaughters Girl Scout Troop. The staff was incredible in making sure all our need were met with very clean rooms for girls as well the adults, breakfast, the pool & play areas for the girls. Big Kudos to all the staff!! Eiko Niu: Comfortable place to stay. Very nice and helpful staff. Short stay looks great. Long stay is below average due to cleaning once a week. Free gym and pool is great, even if they are not very big, usefull enough for the basics. Building is kind of old. If you like modern style hotels this is not your place. Thadine Kazmer: We stayed here with our cat while our floors were being refinished. The suite with a door between the bedroom and living room was great . The hotel is a little older and shows some wear but all in all was very nice and all the staff we met were very pleasant. It was a bit over the top noisy with parties on Friday nights but by 1 AM things settled down. I guess that has to be expected. I would stay again, that they allow up to 2 pets is a real plus.

Brianna Gugel: DO NOT BOOK. I don’t even know where to begin with this stay!!! The place is dirty, the rooms STINK, the staff are rude and LIARS! The first night we found bed bugs and immediately checked out. The next day the manager said she refunded the money. After a week with no refund I called and they kept giving me the run around and lying about refunding my money. Then when I called Priceline the property told Priceline they would not be approving my refund. LIARS LOL The worst experience I’ve bet dealt with. Go somewhere else!!! The place needs to be shut down.

Den James: I came here because my power went out and wanted a kitchen to cook. 1st floor definitely smelled like smoke and felt like I walked into a 3 world country but I walked in my room it wasn’t the cleanest and I turned around and walked out as soon as I saw the latch broken on the door. I requested another room and the guy a the front room gave me a better room on a different floor. It was better and more room. I was content. I woke up at 7am to get my son ready for school and to leave.. to my surprise the door was open with the latch still on. I’m never coming back to this location.
She H: I’ve never felt so dirty in my life until I stayed here. We rushed to find somewhere to stay that accepted dogs when our power went out, I would’ve been better off sleeping in my car. Roaches that seem very comfortable, they don’t even try to hide. The night time check in clerk runs a side hustle or something after hours, she had people hanging out in the lobby while she was washing their laundry at 1am. We were lucky enough to be the room next to the wash machine and heard the tumbling every spin cycle. I’d pitch a tent in the cold before I’d ever think of staying hear again.

Horrez Plater: The room looked gloomy and It made me think about every problem in my life. It was a bit outdated and dusty. I had to clean ut myself. Not one time did anyone check to see if I needed something. The only thing that checked on me was little Hercules with the antennas. YEP! I said it, there was a roach about the size of little Hercules standing on the kitchen sink. Luckily I saw his little brown azz befor he could get away and hide, I grabbed a piece of tissue and flushed him down under in the toilet. I kinda felt icky at that point because I booked the room for me and not for the roach but apparently lil Hercules beat me to it. It was peaceful though and noone bothered me so that was a plus but other than that I survived.

MsMoua01: The moment my family and I walked into our room it reeked smell of cigarettes. I have a new born and thats not what I was expecting. The halls also smelled like cigarettes as well. Francisco Giner: Very welcoming staff, and very professional. Clean room with a nice view. Very clean parking area and building as a whole. They have all you need in your room with restaurants and other shopping right next door. Lots of people staying here long term, which goes to show they treat people well. They could use more parking because that does get a little tight. I’d stay here again if I needed to book a hotel in the area.

Molly Percet: NEVER will I stay with this brand of a hotel ever again—the worst hotel experience of my life. I felt so UNSAFE. If you are a woman traveling alone, DO NOT stay here.I booked this room through hotwire because of the lower rate. There was a mix-up with the name on my reservation which complicated check-in. This was not the hotel's fault. However, the way the hotel handled it was horrible.I don't know if the manager was new, but she was pretty useless. I don't know if the hotel has a general policy of lousy customer service or just bias towards specific customers.Hotwire corrected the reservation issue fairly quickly, and I finally got to my room. A strange person walks straight into my room twice within 5 minutes using the keycard. I called the front desk to discuss my safety and the lackluster customer service. Next, I spoke to the manager, Heather Sancrowicz, and again she was useless.The manager told me the only people with master keys to the room were hotel staff, but her staff wouldn't enter my room unannounced. So, if it wasn't hotel staff who entered my room twice?After my complaint, the front desk started calling my room every 15 minutes, allowing the phone to ring only once before hanging up. At this point, I unplugged the phone, put the extra locks on my door, and pushed the recliner seat against the door till I checked out. I was scared and disappointed with the hotel's lack of accountability.The employee's goals were to make me feel unsafe, unwanted, and harassed. They succeed. I was too nervous to sleep. The most frustrating part is that I paid for this horrendous treatment. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Please take my warning and stay elsewhere.
Drew Montgomery: Room 243 is completely infested with ants and flying ants. Im disappointed of the fact out of all rooms, they put me in this particular room that's infested. I feel like I've been setup. I couldn't even sleep at night with them flying around. And I used my loyalty points to only stay for 2 nights and this is the kind of service I get for being an elite member customer. I should get a refund but I know they're too stingy to do that. I won't be coming back here again.

Yuri: Really old smelly motel. Very misleading pictures and some review. This motel is old, really old. It needs to ton of paint just to keep up with regular maintenance. Im guessing it didnt see much of it in years. Everything is falling apart and has a ton of aged dirt. Sigaret smell is everywhere. Also, my room was missing chair. A lot of rooms are facing busy road where heavy traffic is even at night so its not very possible to get much sleep. Stuff is nice and thats only decent about it. Wont recommend it to anyone
Ramon Goudeau: I used to live in the area (up the street, just north of 11 mile), so I've seen this hotel in a better state. When I was told we had reservations there, I thought nothing of it. Until we arrived. This is the worst hotel that I've stayed in. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillow was so unusable, my traveling partner used his jacket, bundled around the pillow. Remote didn't work, no drawers in the room, outlets didn't work, I can go on... I couldn't be paid to ret8rn to this establishment.

Fatima Maddox: Horrible,,I booked online arrived shortly before check in 3 pm..I was told no rooms available yet..30 min later another clerk couldn't find my reservation..at some point I get a room and notice it wasn't the Room I booked (king) bed ,Dresser in room had no Drawers in it..Box spring on beds look Dirty..Room looked nothing like the Add..this location doesn't have Fridge or microwave...I'm sure I saw a roach run in the crack in the wall.. Valerie Hartzer: The room smelled like an ashtray, the dresser was in pieces, half of the outlets didn't work, the beds were nightmare uncomfortable, we were short towels and pillows, no ice bucket, the shampoo didn't foam or clean well and the soap was drying. The lock didn't work and the security lock was broken off the door frame. The coffee machine in the lobby was broken, the lobby door had a shatter pattern. The staff was friendly but the facilities are in very rough shape.

I didn't originally intended to stay here and had found myself actually stranded without a ride or a plan and on the chance booked a room here.Nicest room set up, perfect size room and layout, extremely comfortable bed. Lauren Reynolds: The floor was sticky in my room, kitchenette was beat up, there isn’t a power outlet on either side of the bed close enough to charge your phone and still be able to use it from bed, there was at least 8 pieces of hair in my shower, a piece in the sink, a visible hairball on the floor, dust on the lamps, 2 of my 4 towels had hair and makeup stains on them… I know it’s a cheap hotel but you can do much better in this price range. Book somewhere else! To their credit, the bed was comfy and the staff was nice. Breakfast was also just bagged muffins, nature valley bars and instant oatmeal with nothing but hot water to mix with-not really even a continental.

John Crowe: I was homeless and stayed here for a year on and off and went back when I had issues with my apparment. The staff are wonderful except for the one manager who I'm not sure if it's a language barrier or something but he's just constantly unpleasant and has an attitude but every other staff member I talked to and saw were beyond kind and respectful I even talked to one almost every day about comics.The rooms are usually always pretty clean I've only ever had an issue where I had to change rooms once and that's because the heater wasn't working and it was very cold out. They accommodated me immediately and even helped me move my bags. They have a good option of tv channels and the new upgraded rooms are very nice. They're smaller because the beds are bigger but it's still a great room for the price. Wifi can be a little iffy sometimes but usually great. I've never heard anybody screaming or any drama. I recommend staying here and I'll probably end up staying again if I ever need too
