Secret Lover: No! Dr appeared to be knowledgeable but they want cash cash cash. Basically if you don’t pay cash for the extra service they won’t do a revision. So be mindful of that. The scheduler is a nasty , rude woman and she gives the office a bad name. She was also arguing with another patient the day of my consult. He needs more caring staff in Southfield. Unfortunately she’s going to cost him a lot of business.
carolyn Retzlaff: I liked Dr. Aviles very much and appreciate his being conservative regarding my episode of carpal tunnel syndrome. It has been very painful but the splints have helped. To see him in a month to determine if I may still need steroid injections in my wrists. Hopefully, no surgery will be needed. He explained everything he is planning to do. Carolyn Retzlaff

William Phillips: When I 1st had my consult for my surgery I was given tier 1 pricing for my insurance of Smart Health. It took me a year to get the insurance to approve part of the surgery and sometime between my consult & surgery date I was told the Dr. Went private. After paying $2,000 cash and another $1,000 toward deductiblei was hit with another $1,000 bill and told it was because the deductible was for tier 2 insurance. I feel I should've been informed of the tier 2 status before I had the surgery.The reason I went the insurance route was to save money & now I'm paying more in the end.As a disabled veteran this will be very difficult on me & my family to pay.

Abraham Pilkington: Dr.Aviles is by far the nicest, most professional, and most skilled of all of the doctors I've ever dealt with in my life. He treated me like a person and not a subordinate like most doctors do. Although my experiences with Providence hospital were less than stellar, getting Doctor Aviles made it all worth it. If you need a wound care specialist or a plastic surgeon, I can't imagine doing any better than Doctor Aviles (his office staff is as good as he is, so that's an added bonus).

He's patient and kind & his hand is soft like a baby's skin. but the wait to see him is crazy long. It seems like ecere visit he had a milkimi patients. He does have more than 1 location. I normally saw him at his other location.

Zi Y: So rough. I had a fracture on a finger and he grabbed it on the exact place hard like he’s gonna bend the finger. Then he tried to put a clip on it over bandage, so he just slides the clip so hard instead of opening it wide and press to close. Then the bandage got rolled up and sticked on the clip when he was still trying to push, which makes the bandage getting pulled from finger cut. Really rough.
C S: The doctor is wonderful the problem is the staff not following through with making sure records get out to the doctors when they refer a patient before that appointment happens,also authorizations and referrals are not being followed through prior to the test being done which is causing patient to be rescheduled. I've been waiting over a year to be pain-free ,it's getting frustrating, not sure if they have an office manager but someone needs to take charge!

Terry McKay: Denise, is the office manager, if you have medicaid, be careful with Denise, she never even checked with medicaid before my upper eye lift, to see if I was covered, so I paid cash, and then it was covered by medicaid, she told me when medicaid pays us you will be reimbursed, Denise never sent the bill to medicaid and it's been three months, I'm waiting for a refund and she never submitted the bill. I can't even believe this, so I have to call the Doctor again tomorrow because again Denise didn't do her job. By the way, the Dr. Does a great job !!! So disappointed with Denise, she has let me down since day one !!!

D L: Drs care was great however after giving the staff my insurance information which they never checked but did have my old ins info from 2015 on file. So after seeing the Dr twice I received a nice bill for over 400$ when I called i was told it was not their responsibly to check ins. Well Dr if your a/r is extremely high this would be a reason. Your insurance coordinator needs to replaced along with your office manager her customer service lacks and does not hold the staff accountable for their job!
David London: I've worked with Dr. Aronovitz and even produced videos of his technique on hair restoration. This guy is the real deal. I didn't realize how far the technology has come in the past 10 years, but the results are fantastic. There's no magic pill or cheapy lotion that will fix hair loss. This is the real option. Highly recommend him.
