John Smith: The nasty rotten older lady with "I have issues" red hair (otherwise known as an entitled postal employee to free government money) was very rude to me when mailing my tax returns....the ones that pay her. No apparent reason. Most postal people are absolutely PATHETIC.

So when we got to the counter we we’re unnecessarily by a condescending postal employee. If we have an appointment? I told her no we didn’t , we just thought since she’s home for the holiday we can take care some of the stuff that it’s been overdue. she the turn to my daughter and asked her if her passport is before she was 16? I don’t understand what intentions were ? Is to embarrass my daughter or what? But whatever it was it’s uncalled for! All she has to is to tell us is to tell me that we need to make appointment and I will totally understand it. But for her to just come after my daughter like that doesn’t make sense. If you are having a bad day please keep it to yourself. You can just be miserable by yourself , I don’t need you to missed up my daughters day!

Gary Eichen: Filed a mail hold while on vacation for a week. Mail was delivered EVERY day during the week. Came home 2 days early, mail delivered both days. So what is the point of the hold? I really am not scoring JUST THIS PO, but the agency in general. Filed complaint, (probably too strong a word, more like an "advisory" note) took 11 days to find out we had filed with the wrong dept. So they can't forward? Just got an email saying we need to refile.Typical gov't agency filled with people who simply don't give a s---.

Mustafizur Rahman: I am so glad I scheduled my passport appointment at this post office. Paulette processed my application within 15 minutes. She assisted me step by step with the new passport process, she happily answered all and any questions, and more importantly made me feel like I could rely on the whole team at this location. She did an amazing job!
Bob Dean: The us post office tends to suck thanks to Louis Dejoy but from my experience the Warren branch seems to be one of the better ones.
Mark Rachow: I recently received a tracking number for 4 packages; when I went to pick them up in my PO Box on July 13, I received a key to a locker which did not have these 4 packages- the locker did have 4 later packages. I went in to the PO on July 16th and postal worker Nikki provided great service in finding that these packages went to a different locker upon combining and the locker key did not end up in my PO Box, an honest mistake. I appreciate the personal service from the staff. I'm thankful that they do track which lockers are associated with PO Boxes. Thanks a lot.

XGP: Mail forwarding request 3 months ago not upheld. They sent a letter stating it was processed, but never sent the mail. All packages that have been shipped from USPS have responded since I've been in my new location back to their original shipper. Stating the order couldn't be delivered due to access issues. And yet UPS, FedEx, Amazon and every deliver driver has access and have been able to deliver. I'm not sure why this many people have to have issues and yet no one has even assisted in the solution.This may have to be escalated to the BBB as well as the local officials regulating this. I feel like they want this response or a class action rather than just deliver the mail...= Federal offense and negligence is what this honestly leads to.1/20/2023:Placed another move of address as I changed states and STILL haven't had my mail relocated to my address...At this point I'm going to have to get a lawyer.

I have some important mail I should be getting and I have an app that tells me what mail I get every day unfortunately I haven’t got one piece of that mail. I’ve called and I still haven’t had any satisfaction. This Postal Service is really poor it’s impossible to talk to a human, and evidently when you do you’re not gonna get a whole lot of satisfaction. I need my mail.

Jonathaan44 “ ”: Do you want to be told no over something super easy. Then this the placd for you.I placed my mail on hold as I haven't received it in a week and half. I was told they send the mail out with the person regardless and cancel my hold order.
Robert Carr: Almost impossible to know where to start. Once upon a time, delivery was daily. "Neither snow nor sleet, nor dark of night..." that sort of thing. Now deliveries don't happen some days and twice other days. The delivery guy walks across your lawn with loud rap playing the n-word over and over again. Delivery of packages is announced by the loud noise made by packages dropped or tossed. Every other package is damaged, sometimes in a way that looks entirely intentional. Those photos in envelopes marked "photos, do not fold" get bent and crammed into the mail slot. Stop signs are optional as the delivery trucks run them without hardly stopping down. And then at Christmas time the delivery guy hits you up for a Christmas gift! Welcome to third world postal delivery!
My Detroit Babe: I don't know if they're reaching out to the community and trying to help those with development or learning disabilities but the delivery drivers lack competence. I've been in my office several times and they e failed to deliver a package.Most recently today a package was failed to be delivered for the second day in a row and yes of course I was they. Even when I'm not there I have a mid size mailbox things can be left in there's also a sign that says please leave packages at the door but I don't get it.Maybe they have not developed the skill of reading the situation and adjusting to what looks different from residential vs commercial establishments.

The mailman or lady never came on my block. Now I'm deeper in the rut because they don't wanna work. James Andrews: I didn't want to do this but I have been extremely frustrated with mail services from this office or the office that initially sorts the mail. I have USPS informed delivery and was waiting on two important pieces of mail from April 9th and April 11th respectively. It is now going on two weeks and I have yet to receive those items. When I put in a complaint and even when I visited the branch, no clear answers were given to me as to where my mail could be. I'm receiving junk mail and other recent USPS Informed notifications but not none of my old mail that I was notified of on April 9th and 11th, which has important items that I needed! Mail seems to be getting lost in the shuffle and nothing can be done about it because "first class mail is not tracked" . I'm extremely frustrated and now I have to scramble to determine if it's delayed or lost and take furthur action plans that will inconvenience me! How does mail from two different days not get delivered or lost??? And no one seems to know where it's at. I just wish better structure gets out into these places because messing with people mail is very frustrating!

I have informed delivery and never receive all of my mail. I have gone weeks at a time without receiving mail. They are full of excuses and need to be shut down.

We receive USPS Informed Delivery emails everyday that show what mail pieces have been scanned in to be delivered to our address and often never receive the items (including my husband’s paychecks). Zach A: Rhonda was so rude to me. I haven't had to send something through the mail since I was a young teen. And she was just telling me the number. This one's 63. This 3 are 87. I asked if she meant 87 stamps. She said no, its cents. So started putting the stamps on she said there a line behind you, and I said ik. I continued to put a stamp on assuming she would help me figure out how many. Her reply is that's for you to figure out. So I went off to other room when first walked in and putt a stamp on each. Luckily I got the lady who was working to the right of Rhonhda. She simply just helped me put the stamps on and correctly and told me how much.
Daniel Galligan: BIG thanks to Terri in sterling heights. The carrier said its a long shot but you can show up when they open and see if they can locate your package before it goes out for delivery. I was told by Terri that without a tracking number it would be hard. While waiting i thought she will never get it but she DID! i couldnt believe she pulled it off...THANKS SO MUCH TERRI...everyone is always so quick to talk negatively about the USPS but there are good people left in our world. She could have just said no and I would have been ok. She exceeded my expectations!!! God bless her!

I waited in line for 20 minutes just as I walked up to Rhonda she didn’t greet or smile just stared at me with a look of disgust and when I told her I had a scheduled appointment she gave me a sheet and told me that I needed to go all the way to Clinton township in a very bad manner and then called the next person in line. When I asked the reason she was like she could help or give me a real answer. I will never come back here again. Just very disappointed at the service.

Apparently the employees are allowed to yell in a lobby full of people, put the window closed sign up if they don’t want to help you and threaten to call the police for getting back in line after waiting at a door for a supervisor about stolen/lost mail and no one ever coming to help. I stood back in line after no one came to the door for 20 minutes. Stood in line quietly didn’t yell or get rude even after standing and waiting in line again for another 15 minutes. When it was clear the black woman didn’t want to help or simply provide a direct phone number, I asked the other employees if there was one and was ignored. Once again this is for mail that was scanned in from the post office to be delivered last week. Even previous times I have mailed things they just have been so rude and reckless about how they talk to people. They need to learn to hire people with substance or learn how to train their employees properly. Who threatens to call the police on somebody for WAITING to find out where there mail has gone???
Kelley Milner: 1) Yesterday a package was STUFFED into my mailbox and the mailbox door was left open for everyone to see. Package was JAMMED into my mailbox because I GUESS the mailman was too lazy to actually deliver the package to my door. The gift box that the item was packaged in was destroyed because of this!2) Package supposedly delivered by UPS to SHPO last TUESDAY still not delivered (or accepted by the SHPO). STILL NOT DELIVERED!!!! (Today is Sunday)3) Have another package at the SHPO that UPS delivered to them that I also still do not have.4) I am furious with this service and the fact that UPS shipped packages take 2-3 times longer to actually get because they turn them over to the USPS for final delivery. This adds a ton more time to receiving orders and now, with the stuffing of them into my mailbox....damage therein. There needs to be new leadership throughout the USPS. I am totally disgusted with them as well as the local SHPO.5) Don't ask me to "cut them a break". I paid good money for gifts to be delivered and handled with care. There are NO EXCUSES for this.

Sarah Hunter: Kinda floored by the rude and obnoxious behavior these government employees find acceptable. Went in today for the first time in over 10 years and I can’t believe it’s actually worse than it was back then. I was actually yelled at for inquiring about my package. Usually I’ll use the hazel park location because the experience is much more pleasant but unfortunately I had a package being held in Ferndale and didn’t have a choice in the matter.

Westport Property Mgmt: I do a small amount of regular business at the post office. everytime I Try to use the ferndale location (is close to home) I'm reminded why I drive across town to the Royal oak branch. consistently have to ask for supplies because the floor is empty and I have honestly consistently been treated to the some of the meanest and rudest behavior I've seen a people display in public let alone a customer based job. also had to move my PO Box because they rented it out to multiple people and refused to fix it.

Thomas Dorsey: The postal system is getting worse. I went to the branch and found they closed for lunch and nothing posted to indicate when the employees would return to start serving customers again. Absolutely stupid. Will not go there again.

Matthew Sherrod: Around 12:10pn I went into the postal office because I sent and express package a few days prior that did not arrive on time and I could not find the receipt. When I went in and asked for help the clerk was very rude. She was short Caucasian with glasses. She said she could not help me and to come back on Tuesday I said but you guys don't close until 1pm she was very rude and nasty and went on to say how she was tired and she's been at work since 4am and she already closed her draw and she's going home... If you don't like your job find another and if you don't have good customer service skills for your customers find another job. I will not be visiting this location anymore. Even her coworker asked her to look it up and she said she's not doing anything she's done for today. Smh do better USPS

But I'll tell you this, EVERY person I've dealt with there is kind, informative, helpful, caring, and worth twice what they are paid. I don't mind waiting in line when your employees are great.

Gemma Morales: I sent a package from Florida Priority Express to Grosse Pointe. The package arrived to the Grosse Pointe post office on schedule. The postal service employee went to the house to deliver the package but declared that it was undeliverable! The recipient saw the mail truck in his drive way but then saw it driven away. There was no reason for the package not to be delivered. This was on a Saturday. The recipient went to pick up the package on Monday because it was very important (thus the reason to pay priority express 1-Day). No reason was given for the undeliverable declaration and no timeline of when it would have been delivered.

Patricia Rice: I order a book of stamps and I don't get me wrong I know I waited too long but I'm disabled so with me being a regular customer when I do go that's the only post office I go to so I went to the checkout and I asked the representative I left my book of stamps post stamps on November 1st I know right I waited too long to go see if they still had my book of stamps I have my receipt and I showed them to him and they did not give me my book of stamps back so it's up in the air if I will go there again I have another post office that's pretty nice and I probably will start going there just because you know you have a lost and found and when a customer buy a book a post stamps they expect to get what they buy especially when you have your receipt the receipt is the most important thing on earth when you buying things or want to return things or just like me I love my book of stamps right at the checkout where the representative have to call next and for sure with us being head-to-head counter to counter I'm for sure that she seen that I left my book of stamps and she did not replace it back into lost and found or person forgot they book a stamps and they may come back and get them that's the way I felt about that I know maybe I waited too long

Kathleen Annel Cooper: Took my passport here and I can say this is probably one of the best USPS experience I've ever had. Jade is very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The whole process from taking my documents, taking photo and processing was all under 15minutes and the entire time it was pleasant. It was the first time that I feel I wasn't inconveniencing staff. I'll take my USPS shipments here moving forward.

Tim Patru: Nonexistent customer serviceI came to this location to mail an envelope and had a couple of older stamps I wanted to use. Waited 15 minutes in line, and when my turn came, I was ready to pay the remaining amount in postage and asked the clerk if she had some glue or tape to help affix my stamps to the envelope, since the adhesive was old. She ignored my question and kept repeating "just put them on!" essentially told me to leave and said to come back when I have the stamps on the envelope.Lesson learned; don't waste your time at this location, stay at home and use USPS online.
Dani Weaver: 9/11/20...just came from here this morning. Walked in with a gentleman waiting (so I was 2nd). He rang the bell again that states only need ring one time. But I can barely hear the bell standing behind him! Let alone over the laughter and talking in back. A couple more people came in. Still no one. So the guy rang it several times but the bell is probably muffled by the taped sign on it. FINALLY someone walked by, her mask under her chin as she serviced people. Not very friendly (what happen to hearing all that laughter earlier?). The worker rang another bell eventually for more help. She wasn't wearing a mask at all. I don't mind stopping at this one for convenience but service lacked today.

Blake Nivelt: I would strongly advise avoiding USPS. This location is Extraordinarily pathetic. My packages manage to get from California to Michigan in 2 days consistently, then sit for up to a week in Hazel Park. USPS is a terribly inefficient federal system that can’t even track a package let alone meet a delivery date. About 2/3rds of my packages are lost at some point and I have to launch investigations with often no results. Pretty pathetic that UPS, not to be confused with USPS, can accurately track all my packages and meet there expected delivery times but a federally back system cannot. I only wish I had the time and resources to get back all the money that the USPS have cost me. USPS is a joke.
