Warren KinderCare: what do users think?
Molly C: We love Warren Kindercare! They have a beautiful location with a gym and splash pad. I highly reccomend.
Sammy: They have been nothing but amazing!! I am a new parent looking to send my baby boy in January. Any time i call they answer and are always helpful with answering questions i may have no matter how weird or out there they may be. Im so excited to send my son come January i know he will be so well taking care off and i love the idea i will be able to get updates on his day all day long while at work. All the staff seems so friendly and careing like the genuinely care about all the well being of the kids. I am so over joyed to have found a place i believe will be out forever center.
Jessica Taylor: My daughter has been attending this daycare for over a year. Shen began at 10 weeks old. We love everything about this center. My daughter is thriving in her development and loves going to school everyday. I am in education and know and appreciate a solid curriculum. More importantly the staff there are caring and compassionate and genuinely care about my daughter. The communication of the center is great! My husband is currently overseas and is able to keep up with her day, they upload pictures and activities daily.Communication with the center is great, I can call, email or message and someone gets back to me. A few months ago my daughter had to be hospitalized and the director made sure to email me over the weekend to check on her. The people that work their care about kids and I am so happy that my daughter has a place that loves her and that she loves going to.
Monty Gatson: Critical:CommunicationI have been trying to communicate with this daycare for over 2 weeks. No one answers the phone, the mailbox is full and no returned emails. Is this how it is if your child is there???
Virginia Schneider: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Emily Arrowsmith: We started sending our son to Warren Kindercare when he was 3 months old. I cannot say enough great things about the awesome experience we have had - the teachers and management staff are always helpful and responsive, and they have maintained a professional, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere even during the throes of a global pandemic.Every day we get pictures and updates of our son truly enjoying himself which always brightens our day and gives us confidence that he is being well taken care of. Even though the Center is a "traditional" type of daycare, the care is still personalized and they know my child's individual needs and what is "normal" or "abnormal" for him. The staff are always doing fun activities with the babies and kids that are full of learning opportunities that I could never think up myself. Also, the operating hours of 6:30am-6:30pm are very flexible for working parents!Highly recommended!
MK: Positive:Quality
Suzanne Theisen: I simply cannot say enough great things about all of the staff here. They truly are invested in the growth and development of all the kiddos. They are so kind and understanding. The teachers, director and assistant director really do go above and beyond to accommodate and work through any trouble areas a little one may have. I would highly recommend this center and its staff to anyone looking for excellent quality daycare.
Mandy Pantuso: We moved our daughter to Warren KinderCare from another popular child care facility in Warren in summer of 2019. From the moment after we toured, we knew we were “home”. The facility is so clean, classrooms are made with children in mind, directors are hands-on, teachers are passionate and take professional development courses to better their skills, and the staff will work with your family no matter the circumstance. Our daughter is welcomed every day with a smile and she loves every minute she is at school. Her day is packed with so many learning activities and I know she will be more than ready for kindergarten in the fall. We love that she is served healthy meals and is trying new foods that might be out of her normal comfort zone. We also love that her teachers regularly update us throughout the day with pictures and videos of her learning activities, information about what she has eaten and how long she has napped. We have felt very confident in the centers’ response to Covid and procedures are followed and enforced to ensure child and staff safety. I highly recommend this center to any families that are looking in the area.
Kirsten Rossow: My 3.5 month old son started at kindercare recently and we have been loving it! The teachers have been kind and patient with me as I asked a million questions and daily send notes. They send pictures of my son having a great day almost daily which helps me feel confident in his care.As a first time mom, finding the right place for my child when I returned to work was really scary. The director and assistant director really helped me feel comfortable and confident that my son is getting everything he needs while I work. The staff wears masks all day, we do temperature checks at the door and a member of the staff greets you at the door to take your child to their classroom. They are doing everything in their power to keep the kids and their staff safe and healthy.
Harrison Vogel: Awesome teachers, awesome director. My kids love it here and we have been very happy with our experiences.
Emily Smalley: In February 2020, I toured Kindercare, looking for a place to send my newborn son. I immediately knew this was our new daycare center after walking into the door. It was a fairly new building and they had thought of everything. Well designed classrooms, a gym for days the kids can't play outside and playgrounds for the different age groups. Included in the tuition was diapers & wipes, clean sheets daily and food once the babies start to eat. All I had to bring in was bottles, pureed baby food and changes of clothes. With COVID happening, we didn't start at the daycare until July and the team there has done an outstanding job caring for the kids and keeping everyone safe. Only one parent is allowed at a time in the lobby to drop off/pick up and temperature checks are done at drop off. My son is almost a year and enjoys his time there (we enjoy seeing his pictures, videos and other updates in the Kindercare app).
Ron O’Neil: Kindercare has changed our childrens lives. They enjoy going to school now! I dont know how we survived without them. Their curriculum based learning is amazing and your kids will be engaged and love being their.
Jiankun Fan: If I could I will give zero star for this review. My son stayed in this daycare couple months last year. For the last three weeks, he got hurt every week even twice a week. Every time he got bruise on his head. Tried to talk to the director and assistant director. It made worse. They always tell me, they cannot guarantee anything. The assistant director blamed my son played roughly. My son could not talk yet. They blamed my son yelled the teachers. It is so ridiculous. If you plan to send your kid to this daycare, ask them to guarantee your kid's safety. If your kid already in this daycare, I do suggest you to be careful to sign any paper work.
Pamela Cornette: From scheduling a tour to meeting Krystal and Gigi in person, you are put at ease. New amenities is truly a huge perk! Kindercare has successfully found staff that truly cares about your child, their behavior, their successes, their problem solving, and reaching goals. My only regret is not having my child in Kindercare sooner. I love the constant updates and app interaction from knowing what my child is eating to what she’s learning about! My daughter has excelled and grown in only a short few months of being at Kindercare and I cannot thank the staff and her teachers.

Warren Woods Day Care: what do users think?
Stacey R: I do not recommend anyone use this center for childcare. They send kids home so frequently, and require doctors notes for absolutely everything (including invisible rashes!) I’ve kept a log of things they’ve done wrong, from the front office staff to the teachers in the classrooms. For the 8 months my children were there, I had to take them to the doctor over 30 times and get doctors notes for clearance. My pediatrician was annoyed and upset at the number of notes required along with why they had to continuously see healthy kids. They’ve been at a new center for three months now and haven’t been sent home once.
Brandie Makie: My son goes to pre-school here. Our experience so far has been grest.
KyLee Bloss: The staff has been amazing with my son. They are close to our home and have always been very professional and kind. The pricing is fair, and the communication between staff and parents is so appreciated! I’ve received texts whenever there are issues or concerns, I get written reminders about supplies running low, and handmade art sent home. The child to adult ratio is safe, and the staff is knowledgeable about child care and safety. We send our son once a week mostly for socialization and interaction with other kids, and he’s learned and grown so much over the last year he’s been going. I never have to worry about where my boy is, I know he’s in capable, caring hands. The front office staff is also always so friendly and happy to see us. I would recommend this place to any of my friends or family anytime!
Rochelle Kaveloski: The worst daycare. So glad my granson is out.Its amazing the change in my grandson in the month that he left. Some of the girls that work there are lazy. I walked in one day and a bunch of kids were all piled on top of each other hitting and kicking each other. The girl in the room was too busy looking at her phone. I asked her whos watching these kids that was way to much rough housing for 3 year olds and her excuse was she just got there. I could go on and on. Please dont send your child here.
Jessica Boyd: Love the facility. My Son is very happy here.
Jessica Crawford: We are into our 3rd year here for our son. He has been going since he was 5 months old. We love it! The staff is amazing and you can tell they truly care about the kids and your family. We are always welcomed when we arrive. Our son is happy to be there and sometimes doesn't even want to leave. What they learn is amazing! He has grown so much in his letter, number, and color knowledge. Staff is great to help work around your scheudle and if anything unplanned comes up. I cannot recommend this center enough!
Ashley Kaveloski: My son attended this daycare for 1 year and 3 months. It was the cheapest daycare around so I went for it. About 2 months of attending this daycare I brought my son in on a Monday and apprently one of their staff has been stalking my Facebook for whatever reason and claim my son had a condition because of something that happened on the weekend and that I couldn’t bring my son in until he had a doctors note. That was strike one. Strike two was the constant papers that I had to sign because my son was getting hit by some other kid and ending up with bruises. Most of the time my son came home with unexplained bruises and bites with no reports. They also don’t follow state mandated ratios. The third strike was me getting told I needed to leave work because they couldn’t handle my child “ running around and not listening “ that he was “ kicking teachers” what I didn’t know is that he was visiting the next higher up classroom all week when I’m paying higher for another class? My child doesn’t have behavior issues, you staff is poorly trained and just doesn’t want to put in the extra work that they should be. I refused to pick him up. Maybe your approach towards my child is the problem. Staff is rude and whenever I explained a concern it got turned back on me. So within one day my child will be attending a different daycare. After reading the reviews and then state reports on LARA for complaints filed with state they are on a provisional license which means they are on probation basically. I wish I would have known sooner. Stay clear of this daycare it’s terrible.
Chrischen Mitchell: After you meet your little one for the first time, you want nothing but the best for them. It is hard to trust people other than family to watch your baby, as it should be. Trust me in saying that this is the absolute WORST daycare you could ever bring the love(s) of your life to. I took my daughter here after thinking that since it is part of the school system that it would be the best place for my child (the price didn't hurt, either). I was SO wrong. Let's start with the first instance. My daughter was maybe 4-5, maybe 6 months old and she was teething which gave her diarrhea. After the first one of the day they called me and told me about it. No big deal, I thought. It was just diarrhea, babies get that. After the SECOND one they told me I had to pick her up. The daycare did tell me though that if I got a doctors note that she could come back the next day. So, knowing this information I took my daughter to an urgent care (because this daycare likes to call you mid afternoon when you cannot get in your normal doctor) and just as I thought, it was teething. I then took the note to the daycare center the next day and thought everything would be fine. A few hours into my day they called me and said my daughter had diarrhea and she had to go home. I stated that I brought a doctors note and they said they would not accept it since it came from an urgent care. Annoyed, I took her home and got her in her normal doctor and received a doctors note stating the same thing urgent care said. THEY STILL SENT HER HOME THE NEXT DAY. Two doctors notes!!! This daycare doesn't stop from calling due to diarrhea, either. If your child has a slight fever due to teething, they will be sent home. If your child is a little bit crabby and just wants to sleep...they will be sent home. They even make you fill out a paper to put freaking butt-paste on your child's butt (this is NOT due to licensing- my new daycare does not make me). Also, if you bring Tylenol, you NEED a DOCTORS note stating what to give your child (you being their parent and telling them what to give your child does not matter). The next instance was in Toddler 1. My child went in that room (and was only there 6 months before I finally had enough- I will get to my breaking point a little later) and was bit FIVE times. Five!!!!! Not little bite marks - YOU COULD SEE TEETH MARKS AND IT WAS BRUISED!! I get that toddlers don't know any better, but I was talking to a teacher mom (oh, I forgot to mention- if you are a teacher, they WILL favor you), and her daughter was there a year++ and was bit ONCE! How in the world can my daughter be bit 5 times in a 6 month time span, but her daughter once in a year++?? It was absolutely absurd to me. My breaking point was probably what sent me over the edge. I received a voicemail stating that my daughter got hurt. The god awful worker sent me a picture via text of my daughters forehead. My daughters forehead had a GIANT goose-egg that was bruising. How did this happen? To this day I have NO idea, as I have so many conflicting stories. The voicemail stated that they got my daughter and her "friend" off the buggy ride and the workers were helping the other toddlers get off it and then turned around and saw that my daughter was crying. What the daycare wrote on the report and what they told me in person was that they SAW a "friend" push my daughter into a brick wall. How could they have witnessed this happen if the workers were busy helping other kids get out of the buggy ride? Also, I question a toddler pushing my kid that hard into a brick wall..they aren't that strong yet.Notes:-My daughter may have been sick twice in the 16 months she attended this god awful daycare (I kept her home those times), but to them she was sick ALL the time.-They close EVERY TIME the warren schools are closed (they are a daycare...aren't they supposed to be reliable??)BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE of this daycare. Spend a little extra money on the daycare's nearby. My daughter is so much happier at her new daycare (not one call or problem since switching!!)
Laura Hill: Horrible experience here. If your child has any minor behavior issues, they will suspend them the next day instead of working with them (don't send them home the day of, which would make logical sense). Morning staff will not help with getting your child to stay there, instead will watch as you struggle to get out the door with a screaming child on your legs. My 3 year old child has NEVER been a biter (and has been in daycare since she was a baby) but somehow was biting in defense here when nobody would intervene when there were issues with other children. Another daycare took her on now and we are experiencing none of these issues.
Stephen Young: Agreed, the place is unsanitary, my Daughter is constantly sick and billing is so unorganized I can't take it.
Saba Elias: I had such a bad experience with them, the teachers were nice but they have terrible people at the office. They are not flexible at all. My son is not going there anymore, I am so happy with his new daycare.

Giving Tree Preschool and Daycare: what do users think?
Darlene Rucker: Great place to work.
awesome friend: My grandson attends Early Headstart Program. Hes learning to socialize and share toys. Teachers are good with all the children and keeps them safe 💯 %. Thank you from my heart that my grandson is doing well with potty training too.
Marilyn Safford: My children have gone here for 4 years. The teachers are patient and kind with the children. They come home excited about what they learned that day. My oldest is starting kindergarten and I left confident that she will be right on track (or even ahead) of what they will be teaching. Very affordable. You feel like part of a community.
Tami Romeo: Rates are very good. There is no other place with the rates they have. My son went there for a good part of a year. I have to say I miss them very much.
Donna Holtz: Both of my daughters attended Giving Tree at Liberty Foursquare Church. I felt that the staff was nurturing and provided a safe, structured environment for my children to play and learn in while I worked.
Motor City Barbecue: We had our son at Giving Tree and we couldn't have been happier. Clean and cheerful rooms, attentive staff, and the 2 different playgrounds! He always came home happy. We priced out 4 day cares and Giving Tree was the most flexible with us. I would highly recommend them. Thank me later.
Amy Canup: My 3rd child is about to finish preschool at the Giving Tree. At first I was hesitant to leave my babies at daycare but I realized that they were getting so much out of it. The staff helped with Potty training and taught numbers, letters, colors, shapes and songs before they were even in preschool. They also have a great outdoor area to play in when the weather is nice. My kids probably have a more well rounded experience than they would have had at home. The staff also have longevity which is great having consistent caregivers.
Deborah Corkins: This is the best preschool I have ever seen. I had various daycares for my kids here in MI and in FL. They now have my Grandson and he has improved 150% in the last 8 months. They have worked so hard with him and he has ADHD tendancies and they are so patient. My Grandson loves his teachers and speaks fondly of school when he's at home. They are in a well structured environment and the school does so much for the kids. It is a very positive, loving environment for our little ones. I trust them whole heartedly and never have to question their services.
Heather scheffler: My son has been going here for almost 8mths. He has grown so much in this little bit of time. The teachers are great with all the learning and crafts that they do with the kids. Very caring and great with the kids.
Do It Write Writing Services: My son went to this school for his preschool year! In fact he was one of the first graduating classes! His picture is still on the wall there! Let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! He learned all the fundamentals he needed to start school in Kindergarten for the first time! I would ask him about how school went each day and he couldn't wait to go back the next! The staff was very friendly, supportive, understanding and dedicated to making sure that each student, not only mine, had a fair chance in this highly competitive society! This is such a great school and definitely a great start to their educational journey! I would recommend The Giving Tree Pre-school if one values their child's education! Sign up, sign up, sign up! I wanted to also add, my son is excelling in 1st grade now, and he got his start at this great school! Thank you Giving Tree for giving my son a quality introduction to school! :)
Rebecca Kinkela: I have a son with a little bit of special needs regarding his hands. The daycare workers at Giving Tree took the extra time to teach my son to teach my son the best way he could to write, cut with scissors, color, etc. When he cried, they were very attentive to his needs. He would get upset if he didn't have class, not because he couldn't see his friends, but he loved his teachers.Thank you for all the wonderful things you have done for my son and his confidence.I would recommend this daycare over any others around.
Lynne F: Great center. Staff is great.
Rebecca Chambers: Wow I was very disappointed when I took a tour of the giving tree! I have worked in preschools and daycares before and couldn't believe some of the things I saw. Infants in a tiny classroom with toddlers. Toddlers sitting at a table alone with no food or toys waiting for the teacher to finish giving an infant a bottle. Not a whole lot of toys or activities for the children to do. No art work displayed and a dirty fridge with no labeled food for the infants. A teacher sitting down at her own table eating fast food while the kids ate at a different table! The director was very unprofessional. She told me and my husband repeatedly that the "kids will be crazy cus it's lunch time" and proceeded to yell at 2 preschoolers infront of myself and my husband for not laying on their cots. If this is how a director acts infront of potential clients I hate to think what goes on behind closed doors!

The Great Lakes Child Development Center: what do users think?
Rebecca Gilkey: Both my son and daughter attended GLCDC for a few years and we finally left this past September. The overall feel of the program is similar to an old-school family member taking care of your child. You know they are loved but don't agree with all of the antiquated practices used. One saving grace is it is convenient as it is one of the cheaper daycares and they are flexible with scheduling. However, it is worth every penny to invest in another school as I don't think any child will ever thrive here. For some kids, it could even be damaging.Time out is a large component of their behavior practices, even as young as one year old. For example, my son was put in timeout for putting toys in his mouth at 1 y.o. I met with the director and teacher about the use of timeouts and how it was developmentally inappropriate. I asked about any proactive or restorative efforts but was informed that those do not happen. Further, it was clear the teachers and director were not familiar with preventative or restorative practices to teach a skill, instead, the strategies were very punitive. As an educator myself there were quite a few policies I did not agree with but felt like it might be beneficial for my children to experience multiple tactics. Additionally, if I ever had a concern the director and teacher would find time to speak to me, but it was never from a place of understanding or working together. The director and teachers were always very defensive. Little things continued to happen that made me question the amount of attention paid to the kids in the classroom, but nothing significant enough to make us want to move especially during COVID.Then my 3-year-old son came home and told me his teacher held his blanket over his face at nap time. I called immediately and asked for clarification as he must have had it wrong. Unfortunately, it was confirmed that a teacher in the 3-4 year old room threw a blanket on top of my son's face during nap time out of frustration. The director apologized and spoke with the teacher about it, but it never felt like enough was done to remedy the situation and be sure it wouldn't happen again. My son has some behavior and impulsivity concerns related to ADHD, but he attends occupational therapy and behavioral therapy to support that. Issues cropped up every now and again, but the teachers were never very forthcoming about what they saw in the classroom to help us work through it at home or in therapy. Ms. Carol always just said he "was a good boy". I regularly reiterated that being "good" and also having deficits were not mutually exclusive. Shortly after, my son started to complain about tummy aches when going to school. After a few weeks, it was clear that it was anxiety driven and he disclosed that his teachers called him a bad boy. We tried to talk to the teachers to see if they had any suggestions as to what he could be worried about and to address the bad boy comment. The response I got from the director and teachers was immediately defensive. Rather than having empathy for my son and helping us figure out what was going on, I was told the teacher cried and was so disappointed that I would believe my child. I was never accusatory and always asked if he could have misinterpreted something or if was he regularly getting time outs. They denied anything and were so upset that I would believe something nefarious was going on. Ms. Carol told me, "After all the work I have done with him with the hitting, biting, and tantrums. I would never call him a bad boy." However, she NEVER told us about these problems or the "work" she was doing with him despite ample opportunity. The communication, support, family involvement, teaching, and overall experience at our new daycare are all leaps and bounds better than GLCDC. My son and daughter are both academically more interested and growing SO much more. I wish we would have left sooner.
Kate Dehan: We’ve been taking our baby to GLCDC since she was 9 weeks (now 5 months) and we absolutely love it.Having to put her in daycare when I returned to work was so difficult. But, we took solace in the fact that she was being taken care of by such compassionate, attentive, and kind caretakers. Our daughter is happy and content every day when we pick her up. That’s all we could ever ask for!
Jenifer Johnstone: All 3 of my children have attended GLCDC. My oldest graduated preschool from there (she is 10 now), my middle attended birth-3 years, when we moved out of the area. We moved back and my now 3 year old has been attending since last fall. My nephews and niece have all attended. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff, the curriculum, the care, and our overall personal experience. I've been telling them since our daughter attended, I would keep my I kids there through high school if I could.
Rachel Baker: My daughter has been at GLCDC since she was just a little babe. She’s now 4 and just started pre-k. There has never been a time when I wasn’t absolutely thrilled with the love and care we have been shown there. They have always accommodated our schedules and given our daughter the best attention. From potty training to social skills and general development, I owe it to GLCDC! I’d honestly be lost without them.
Nathaniel DeCarlo: My daughter is thriving here. She absolutely loves going to school/daycare here. You can tell every teacher/assistant/staff member is passionate about caring for our kids. It puts my mind at ease knowing she's in great hands while I'm at work.
Stephen Watzman: I’m a bit torn on writing this review. So let me preface by saying they worked hard to accomodate us and get us in and most children or families there seem happy with their experiences. My daughter had a positive experience in the infant room. The teachers in that room are pretty good and seemed to care a lot about our daughter despite her being a bit of a handful at times. Our son, on the other hand, never really took off there. He’s a toddle and a bit of a shy child and whenever we would pick him up, he’d usually have isolated himself, playing by himself without much support from teachers. Okay, that seems like normal adjustment, but what concerned us was 1) when we’d drop him off the teachers didn’t acknowledge him or try and include him in the group. They usually just sat there, not interacting with the kids. As far as I can tell, they have no curriculum and 90% of the day is free play. Our son’s sheets every day would say the same thing “played with trains, dolls, etc” because they dont seem to do circle time, teach them any basic knowledge, sing songs, dance, arts and crafts, or anything you might expect your kid to be doing more than maybe one day a week. At our old daycare (we moved) he would come home knowing spanish words, shapes, colors, days of the week, or begging us to sing songs we had never heard of. None of that here. This level of indifference or laziness culminated this week when we picked him up at the end of the day and he was found laying alone on the ground sobbing with what we now know was a dislocated elbow. Accidents happen and kids get hurt, but the director and teachers were somehow unable to provide any explanation for his injury despite assuring me no adult did it because “there are eyes everywhere” yet somehow nobody managed to catch that one. The director showed no concern at all for the well-being of my son and seemed more concerned that we’d sue them. She also couldn’t explain why a 2 year old was left alone to sob on the ground with a serious injury and didn’t really attempt to. Neither she nor the owner ever followed up or inquiried as to his health, and that represents my biggest issue with The Great Lakes center - they don’t really seem to care that much about the kids. That being said, there are good teachers here, and I wouldn’t necessarily expect you to have a similar experience, but to me the most important thing about a daycare is that they care about the well-being and safety of your kids and to see him on the ground, ignored, and injured is something that I just cant get over. Moreover, the callous response of the leadership is appalling, and they should be embarrassed that they claim to be inspired by Christian ideals.
Growan Skoufas: Patty and Rebecca..(((THANK YOU so much))))ill fill it out again so yall could get anothere 5 starfrom The Great Lakes Child Development Center pre school 1 and 2 to Great Oaks Academy-- ALL A'sThe Green Family
Lauren Marietta: I can not say enough about the staff at GLCDC! Patty and Rebecca make my little introverts day so much better with their warm welcomes every morning. Their love for the kids shines from the moment we walk in.
Heather Kirchner: Absolutely LOVE this daycare!!!! My son has been here for a year now and we are so pleased with how attentive, caring, and happy they are with their jobs!!
Sherrelle Kimble: My daughters came from a daycare that was closed on a Friday and I was told that same day. As a mother I was desperate to find a daycare that same day I call Great Lakes and spoke with Mrs. Patricia and she told me to come in Monday morning. When I came with my daughters and mom we left with a smile on our faces. Everything was up to date and they teach the children. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. My daughters will be starting this upcoming Monday.
Tiffany Alder: I searched high and low for a preschool / day care for my son. Great Lakes CDC was the LAST place on my list of possibles. Lets just say, I wish it would have been the FIRST, because I wouldn't have searched any further! The staff here cares PERSONALLY for each and every child. They are friendly, happy and delightful every day. They have a safe and fun filled environment, each room is set up like an actual class room, even for the pre-pre school, pre-school and pre-k rooms! I thought my kid was a genius BEFORE he started attending Great Lakes CDC, but now, I'd SWEAR he's going to be the next einstein! ;) He comes home demonstrating all the great things he has learned and it is just AMAZING to see how he grows with the teaching and guidance of Great Lakes Child Development Center. Not to mention the staff, and the owner... My child's teacher, Ms. Carol is absolutely a GEM! I walked in one morning and there was a child having a "i didnt want mom to leave" crying fit. She was soothing the crying child, getting another breakfast and starting a third kid on a coloring activity, ALL WHILE keeping her cool and being an AMAZINGLY calm and collected teacher! They are great! Ms Mary Lou & Ms Rebecca both helped me when looking at the place. They've both always been so kind and helpful! And Ms Patty, the owner, I swear that woman makes me cry tears of joy every time she talks to me about my son OR myself. The staff is just so uplifting and positive, happy and FULL of JOY.... Thats what you call God's JOY NOISE! The Lord has FILLED this place with his BEAUTIFUL joy noise! But please, dont judge based only off my review. I encourage you to go see for yourself. GLCDC is amazing! And I wish my son could attend school here until GRADUATION! :)
Cherish Fields: This daycare is AMAZING on every level. The building is always clean. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and informative. When looking into daycares you always hear how staff turnover is common. Not here, the staff have been there for 4 plus years and some 8 plus years. This is so rare in the child care industry. This is my favorite aspect because it helps the children develop attachments and security in knowing who they will see daily. What they provide: This center provides 2 snacks and a lunch that is cooked/made there in their kitchen, nothing prepacked or brought in. They provide the milk and the wipes. You just bring their diapers, cups and the baby. There is only twice a month that you bring your own lunch for your kid. They make it less of a burden on parents. I feel comfortable dropping my kid off and leaving for work. They call you if there is a concern with you child immediately. You can easily get in touch with the teachers and visit the center whenever you want.Activities: They have art, a librarian, the kids are read to, they do play activities that improve gross motor, sensory and language development. At 2 years old, they offer different foreign languages classes. For holidays, the bring in Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, etc which is so nice because you get pictures would normally have to stand in line at a mall to capture a memory like that. Granted the photos are not professional but they are nice. This place is one of a kind and worth every dollar. So dependable. I highly recommend this place for those looking for QUALITY child care option. You really cannot beat this place.
Karen Markoz: Both of my sons go here and the staff, atmosphere is absolutely AMAZING! I am very comfortable having my sons here. Knowing that they are safe and learning great things daily is very important to me. Best of all they treat your kids like family! Thank you for always being so wonderful to our family!
Nicole Wineman: Staff is INCREDIBLE. I never want my daughter to leave this school

Small Wonders: what do users think?
Guarded Rose: Holly was very professional, warm and inviting, patient with my questions. Great business!
Sarah Thiel: Both of my kids were enrolled in Small Wonders and we absolutely loved it!
melissa g: Checked out a bunch of other daycares and Small Wonders was the best option. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. They are also in constant communication using the Brightwheel app. It is very helful to get updates on every feeding, nap, waking, and special diaper change. This helps to know he is being well taken care of and to plan pumping times. We love the pictures they send of our infant son-he always has a big smile on his face! They work on tummy time with him and there's always Disney music playing =) I also like that they have events for the kids and parents to be involved like trunk or treat. I highly recommend checking them out and taking a tour!
Jesse Dula: Awful. One of the staff ripped a bib off of my son leaving a large scratch. I observed the staff all congregated together gossiping on numerous occasions while toddlers were crying. My little guy cried every time I dropped him off. It was absolutely heartbreaking. There was literally no development for toddlers at all. We've moved on to Tutor Time, and it's a complete 180.
Laura Tanghe: My son has a documented emotional disturbance that was brought on by his last daycare facility. I brought him to Small Wonders who said that they would work with him and his social worker to get him straightened out. My son attended one day (which he was not behaving) and I was called to pick him up early. I spoke with the center three times throughout the day and even spent my lunch hour at the center trying to calm my child. I was told that he could not return the next day, but that is social worker was coming the following Tuesday and he could return then. I just received a phone call at 3 pm on the Friday before Christmas saying that they could not welcome my child back at all. They are not willing to work with him, his social worker, and that they do not owe me anything.I now have 3 hours to find my son a new daycare before a holiday weekend. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone take their child there.
Scott Magnuson: I highly recommend this daycare. My daughter has been attending for two years and loves it. She has learned so much and I can tell that the staff are truly invested in her development and wellbeing.
NFB BNY: Although this childcare center is convenient for work, I would not recommend. My son was not treated well in the preschool room. He told me when he had a runny nose, one of the 'care' givers pinched his nose so hard he cried! He had a phobia with letting me wipe his nose for a year after that! I put him in a childcare center close to our house. A much better fit.
Lauren: Horrible place to work. Run by people who didn't abide by their own rules. They made me feel so uncomfortable working there it was unbelievable. No matter what you did, if you weren't part of the people who have worked there for well over a year they didn't listen to you. I would never go back even if this was the last place to work on earth.
Jeremey Nofzinger: We are very pleased with Small Wonders. My 9 month old daughter loves it there. The staff is very friendly and competent. Things seem to be run very orderly and by the book.

Lashai W: Best decision I've made all year to sign up for schooling. Both of my children are able to attend one is 4 years old and the other is 1 years old they both attend all day schooling I love it. They both are learning both fun and fundamental things needed for early child development

Warren Woods Christian School: what do users think?
Courtney Bloss: I went to school there and loved it! Now my son goes there and loves it! Blessed by the teacher and staff!
keira!: So awesome
Jan Mcconnell: Great school, great kids, great adults, Great Fellowship with the Lord
Faith Williams: The teachers are very friendly. It has a great, positive environment.
Ethan Neff: WWCS is a building that has much importance to me in the South Michigan area. This place resonates with me and has much meaning as my elementary/junior high school. Alhough its a smaller school, some of my best friends and best memories are from there. Also I was the school president in 8th grade, so i was running a lot of things for a while. The teachers and sudents alike were always very nice and accepting, and set up a good educational foundation for my highschool career. It also was very much a safe haven for my faith, and had an overall safe atmosphere. I think that the staff at WWCS is a group of overall amazing people that only want to help others and serve the lord. And in turn, this rubs off onto the students and sets them out into the world on the right foot.
Seth Cox: Awesome

Kids' Avenue Christian Learning Center #2: what do users think?
Guarded Rose: Contacted the Christian center and the rep answered the phone in one of the most unkind & unprofessional manner that I've experienced in a long time. I politely let her know why I was calling, and because her demeanor was so unprofessional, I decided to move on to my next call. Presentation, and the people that you decide to be the face of your operation, is everything to your business.
Ashley Elkins: Didn’t like how they treated my son here. Fake Christian school to cover up for the people that dislike their jobs and kids. My son went from vibrant and talking to silent and crying all the time. I saw one staff member pull my son to hard by his arm she seemed upset, instantly pulled him out.
Denise Morton: Everyday my son comes home and says"ma i like school".Kids Ave is family and can only grow from here! 💪💐I give my blessings to this place🙌
Darice Marshall: Positive:QualityI have worked at Kids Avenue Christian for a year and a half it is a wonderful place to work the children are well cared for and Mrs.Elizabeth is a very great person
Reginald Webb: I'm the father of a two and 4yr old that attends Kids Avenue Daycare n it's been wonderful. Once I drop my kids off I feel a sigh of relief cuz ik their n the best hands next 2 me or their mother. I've seen all the new equipment n toys it was a brand new facility, my dghter started when she was 3months and it wasn't an easy decision, but they've taught her the way I'd do if I wasn't working.Writing this review is my first, but when this chicken-head starts writing Bs about the school that helped raise my dghter I just had 2 take a min. n say smthng. Nobody's perfect n we definitely want our babies taken care of, so don't let smbdy bad day influence ur decision.
Mary Sanders: I have been a employee at KACLC 1year and half. I love going to work because it a Christian atmosphere . Working under the Leadership of Mrs Elizabeth she a kind hearted, loving passion and understanding person. She showed a lots of loving and caring for the children and their parents .She has a good Christian structure program . Servegood nurturing meals and it a clean safe environment. Mrs. Elizabeth never want to feel like she's our overseers she always stress to her staff that she one of us. I Admirer her for that.
Shirley Saffore: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ReliabilityI work here and love my job. We are very professional, we do Not abuse children because we know it's against the law. This is a Chritian Daycare where we show them the Love of God. Ms. Elizabeth is a very fair person.
Nateshia Anthony: Daycare Alert: Children Avenue Christian Learning Center (Detroit and Warren) I had a horrible experience with my baby at that location.. she kept getting sick like admitted to the hospital sick, not only that she had scratches on her face that they say she did with a toy which I know she didn't. She had multiple DEEP scratches... She was removed after that.... I took immediate action. Now here I am 3 years later and some lady walks up to me saying I work for that place... please don't ever send your kids there. The owner Elizabeth drags kids by their arms into her office and puts them under the desk, her staff disciplines the children (hits them, pops them in the mouth etc) feeds them food Monday left over in the fridge from Friday. She even buys toys from salvation army no matter the condition, mixes bleach and pinsol and sprays the toys, not wipes them but sprays them so the kids are playing with toys that have chemicals on them. She said the state comes out but she has cameras and sees then before they come and she switches up. She's mean to her staff etc. Please don't send them babies up there.
cierra trotter: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability
Kaayy M.: The older lady that work there have a attitude problem they unprofessional and act like they dont know anything when you ask them questions if the owner not there they clueless to anything you ask
Shawntinique Wiggins: I love this daycare. Ms. Elizabeth is a very very wonderful woman. You can tell she loves her job. Staff is amazing and friendly. My children love this place. They teach them young, interact with each child and update you through an app with pictures and messages. It also tell you when they use the bathroom, how many times they eat, when they take a nap, etc. They have cameras. The will also work with you the best way they can. I highly reccomend this daycare to anyone.
