RecurringNightmare: my mom fractured her femur back in June. she had surgery and was sent here to rehab her leg. she developed a blood infection which the nursing staff was too stupid to understand, she needed to go to the hospital and they refused to send her there for TWO WEEKS. by then, the Sepsis has started. she was a dialysis patient so her immune system was already compromised. i kept calling and coming there every day to have her sent to the hospital, even threatening to call the police. there was this black nurse with big crossed eyes (looked like the devil) and this large white woman named Mary they assured me and INSISTED that they knew what they were doing. i had to ask her dialysis center to send her to the hospital. by then it was too late as her condition was getting worse and the Sepsis became harder for her to overcome. i tried contacting Jackie, the director of nursing for WEEKS but she was never available because she was too lazy to care about anyone except herself. they were understaffed and they were 3rd class nurses at best. on October 11th, 2022, my mom passed away from Sepsis shock. if only i had known this place was a trash can with ignorant management, i would have taken her ANYWHERE else. thank you Mission Point for taking my mom from me. unfortunately i cannot sue for stupidity and laziness, but i trust God will settle things in the end. meanwhile, keep your family AWAY from this place.if i could give it negative stars, i would!

Deborah Roth: My son is here right now with an open wound on his leg. They ran out of his pain meds at 4 a.m. it is 7:26 p.m. they don’t know when his meds will be there. He was on pain meds for a month so I’m sure he is in pain and very uncomfortable. When I asked about withdrawals because they failed to refill his medication on time the nurse told me she doesn’t deal with that. When I asked her who does she got defensive. The wound has not been changed since yesterday and is an open wound cut about a foot long on each side of his lower leg. The nurse has been horrible to both him and I. He wants to leave as soon as possible but can’t just walk out. I live in Florida. I would give no stars if there was an option!

Alfonsa Webb: Warren woods is a comforting atmosphere, the staff are nice, I get a warm welcoming feeling. Food is ok. Staff responds fast. Sleeping arrangements are good. If someone needed a facility as welcoming and homely as a home warren woods would be a place to recommend for housing. Great medical assistance.

Janice Cote: After going through 4 nursing homes for my sister, I thought this was the best one. But my sister hated it. So during a hospital stay, we found another home. She is doing physically & mentally much better in the new home. I also learned that her insurance was charged for physical therapy that she did not receive. They also sent me a bill ($6K) for her stay which was also covered by insurance. Once I called, they said "disregard it". (Bottom line: listen to your loved one. We visitors can be deceived but residents know what is reality).

Joe Sellinger: Due to a surgery and the need for IV antibiotics I was required to go to a Rehabilitation center, and am so glad I chose Warren Woods. The staff is great, super friendly and helpful. From the custodial staff all the way up to the administration. I have no complaints. Would recommend to anyone!

Brandon Paszkowski: I was there for physical therapy for 10 weeks. The therapy department is excellent. If it wasn't for the outstanding job the therapy team did I would of left after the 1st few day's. Management was awful. Only a handful of CNA's that actually did their job's. Food was atrocious. Nursing staff was good but the doctors were ridiculous. I saw the dr assigned to me twice. Once the 2nd week I was there and the day before I went home2 times in 10 week's. And he didn't write out my prescriptions correctly and wouldn't fix it. So I had to go without my breathing treatments until I could get into my own dr. Would I recommend this place. NO. Please let me make it clear. That my Mom was the patient. Not me. Thank you

Dennis Desmarais: To whom it may concern,My care is okay. The ownership/cooperative needs to the staffing issue, especially A Wing. Residents need more aides for the 11PM to 7 AM. The residents must have more than three aides.As it is now, I have been told that they, the aides, will get to me when they can because they are short-staffed. There have been several times that I have been changed once for the entire shift.When they do change me, they start at 4:00 AM. There are three hours to go. They won’t change me again unless I require a complete bed change.It’s very unfair that A Wing is told to send workers home. They should stay, because the help is needed desperately. Many residents are up all night and they don’t sleep.In another situation, the day manager has it written in her book that I can’t have Nagogee (I wrote her name as it sounds), because she hurts me by crossing my legs. This is dangerous, because both of my kneecaps can dislocate. This is one part of my Cerebral Palsy from birth. I don’t have her in the daytime, but I’m still having her at 11 PM sometimes.Therefore, I’m requesting that she is banned from being my aide, because she hurts me. I would appreciate a quick resolution to my situation. Tom and/or DON nurse, please place in my care plan file.I appreciate you taking the time to read my survey letter. jennifer E: When I came to visit my uncle the staff was very polite and helpful. My uncle he seemed to be in good spirits. The Dinning room was clean and food looked good. We headed back to his room after dinner, they aren’t very big and could use some updating. Other than that, I think we chose the right spot!

Kevin Hawe: I have had bad (for various reasons) or non-productive cycles of physical therapy in different facilities over the years. NovaCare is certainly NOT one of those places! The great mix of professionalism, friendly welcoming atmosphere and all around great staff make this place stand out.You walk in and it starts with the welcome greeting from Sandy She has the personality, tender compassion and sense of humor you need when walking into a place that is there to help you get out of pain and back to normal life as you know it.Sean and Jillian are outstanding Doctors of Physical Therapy. They know how to listen while you describe what you're feeling. They work to adjust your personal program to address your personal needs.I had rotator cuff surgery. I started into therapy in such pain from the slightest of movement. They, while having seemingly very different approaches, worked together to not only help me to regain full range of motion ( at a very fast rate), but the strength in my shoulder is nearly back to normal. All of this in an exceptionally shorter recovery time than anyone had expected.Thank you Sandy, Sean , and Jillian from the bottom of my heart. You kept me full of hope (and laughter) during a miserably painful recovery! I am truly grateful.I very strongly recommend this facility and it's staff to anyone needing mobility back in their lives!

Demitrii McQuiller: I recently went Nova Care for a Functional Physical. I met Sandy who is the secretary and she welcomed me like she actually knew me. I felt comfortable right form the start. Then after she did the paperwork on me. I met Jillian who is the therapist who preformed the actual testing. Two very nice people that I recommend that people should meet if you ever need any type of therapy they welcome you into the facility like it's their own place. Thank you Sandy and Jillian for making the visit wonderful. Great job.😊

maribel raygada: I returned to Novacare after one year and I returned to the same place because I know that I find excellent service here. Sandy, the secretary, is a very kind, cordial, compassionate person and willing to help in whatever she can (schedule, paperwork with health insurance and other things). Sean, the physical therapist, is a very respectful and kind person. He guides you and teaches you what types of exercises are good and useful for your physical problems. He knows exactly what exercises you have to do for each part of your body, to strengthen it, to stretching it or to relieve pain. I recommend this place to all people who need physical therapy, I know they will find a very professional staff that cares and treats people like family.

John Shamoun: This place is horrible with uneducated staff and evaluators. I went in their a year ago for back pain issues due to my vehicle and after the examination they agreed the vehicle is not good for my condition. A year later I go to a new company and was given the same vehicle that caused my back pain issues and after going in for a new evaluation I was denied which makes no sense at all especially when the examiner copied the old exam since nothing had changed. So 2 exams with the same reporting but 2 different outcomes. The staff is friendly, but that's to prepare you to be bent over by their insufficient incomplete evaluation and uneducated examiners. I would never recommended novacare nor anyone that is associated with this company/location. GOODLUCK!
