Michigan Center For Fertility And Women's Health: what do users think?
Shay Bunnie: Very friendly and welcoming. They are sensitive to my needs and always trying to make sure I’m comfortable if someone comes in the room with us or with the procedures. This has been a great experience.
Liz Skelton: I would warn anyone against this office. They were difficult to work with and gave my husband and me false information about our health. After putting us through numerous invasive procedures they refused to treat us because of a slightly elevated A1C that was being managed by a PCP. We never even had the opportunity to see the doctor. We only saw PAs and NPs. At one point they had me come in for a procedure, and after it was done they handed me a $700 bill and said I owed it then and there. They told us we would have to do insemination as well. All lies. We found a new doctor who said there is NO reason we can't conceive naturally with help inducing ovulation. This office is unprofessional, disrespectful, and simply wants to bill as much as possible. Do not let them take advantage of you. I found a new doctor who walked us through our results and what they actually meant, has been a partner in care with us, and who developed a plan for us that doesn't involve invasive procedures in order to get pregnant. We start our first cycle in a few weeks!
Delilah Hines: Very disappointed with thus office. I have an appointment to talk with Mandy about some test results and I'm still waiting. Ive been here 42 minutes and counting. What is the point of coming to get me from the front to put me in a room to just wait some more. At least in the front i know where the door is. I guess my time isn't valuable.
Liz Griem: Amazing staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and help you with whatever your situation is. Nurses, PA’s and Dr. Kowalczyk are quick to get back to you whenever you have any questions and are so reassuring on the phone and help with everything. If something comes up they always have a plan. I’ve been to both Warren and Bloomfield Hills offices and both are great. Highly recommend!
Nicole Grabowski: Signed up for satellite monitoring, I told the office I didn’t have insurance—I would pay out of pocket. My appointment was confirmed for 11/10. On 11/7 I find out I DO have insurance, unbeknownst to me. I call and leave the billing department a message letting them know I have insurance (Medicaid) on the same day. They finally call me back on 11/9, the day before my appointment, and tell me BECAUSE I have Medicaid, they can’t accept me as a patient, even if I pay out of pocket. I have never heard of a policy like this, but that isn’t the issue. My issue is, they took 2 full days and waited to call me back and tell me that I cannot be a patient with them THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT. So now I am scrambling to find another IVF clinic that will accept me as a satellite monitoring patient AND do my baseline labs and ultrasound NEXT DAY. Luckily, RMA of Michigan was able to squeeze me in, AND they had no issue with me paying out of pocket because they didn’t accept Medicaid either. THANK GOD I found RMA of Michigan. IVF is stressful enough without this kind of runaround. The least Michigan center of fertility could have done, was called me back sooner and gave me more time to find another office. Very unprofessional.
Katie Trybula: They are amazing! Very attentive and accommodating. Extremely organized and treat you like family. So thankful to have them while I go through this journey!!
Serena Slaiwa: they didn't help me in anyway after all the crazy charges they charged 😤
Devin Wolschon: After 4 attempts on different days I cannot get a hold of anyone to schedule in
Mariana Carrillo: Had an appointment at 5pm to find out office is closed had asked for day off at work for nothing.
Whitney Brown: No idea what that one star review is about. They always call back! Dr. K and her team are the best! So helpful, very friendly, they are VERY BUSY but extremely responsive.
Alesha Martiss: The 1x1 attention you receive here is like nothing I have experienced before. The atmosphere is calming, which is so important with infertility. I really enjoyed working with both PA’s. Scheduling is accommodating and hassle free. Grateful to have found this office.
Michelle Stein: Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. Love the staff. They helped my husband and I have our beautiful daughter. ♥️
Tammy Putinsky: I could never get a hold of anyone regarding billing questions or when I was trying to reschedule my appointment. I would leave messages and no one ever returned my calls. The way they handled contact during COVID was not very helpful at all and I did not feel they were very understanding of me not wanting to physically come in during the beginning of COVID.

Planned Parenthood - Warren Health Center: what do users think?
Rei: I got an IUD here by Sophie, she is really the best. She answered my questions through the app and was super nice about the process and post-care.
Reese Jones: I had my Nexplanon implant removed here and have nothing but good things to say!! All of the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. I had a lot of anxiety going into this appointment but my nerves were calmed very quickly and the entire procedure was completely painless:)
Taylor Cook-Masse: I'd highly recommend driving a little extra to a different location. This is the second time they've canceled an appointment without notifying me. I had to stop going to this location because their resources are not easily accessible. They canceled my appointment right before I arrived and they wanted me to wait a month for another appointment.
Eccentric Vision: I showed up to my appointment and the office was closed. No notifications or anything. Very unprofessional
Alessandro Rizo: The best place that I've visited they were so kind and patience. And everything was on time I'm so thankful with this clinic.
K Radz: Everyone here was so kind! I had an exam and an iud removal and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Yes, you may have to wait 15 min past your appointment time and you may see someone get called back before you that arrived after you, but that happens at every medical office I’ve ever been in and it’s literally no big deal. Service and bedside manner was exceptional and made my iud removal a breeze. Low to no cost women’s health clinics like this are a NECESSITY in every community.
Savannah Collins: Never answer the phone
Sydney Mott: I went to Planned Parenthood to get my copper IUD. I had to wait an hour in the waiting room. The clinician who inserted my IUD, Sophie, was so nice and helpful. She talked me through the whole process and made it an easy experience.
Celestia Hurt: everyone i spoke to was incredibly sweet and helpful, they made sure i was comfortable and answered any questions i had, and they also got me on the specific medication i need !!! we didnt have to wait long at all, and when talking to the clinicians, they were very straightforward and efficient. i genuinely have zero complaints, they were wonderful!
Kandace Owens: Staff is always friendly but the wait here is absolutely unacceptable. Appointment was at 3 and wasn’t called back until 3:45, didn’t end up getting birth control shot until 5. Definetly not okay, you are better off driving to a farther PP because this one is not worth it and your time will be wasted.
Blurry Moonchild: i was refused treatment of an std from this clinic. lady behind the desk discriminated against me and i walked out of this place that’s supposed to help people untreated. expect a lawsuit this location needs to be shut down immediately.
Shay J: The staff is great. They’re just super slow at everything. Then they never call people in order of the appointment time. Like who wants to spend their whole day waiting. That’s why i pick morning appointments and still end up being there for 2-4 hours. Like planned parenthood just not this location
Raven Holt: I’ve been a patient here for quite awhile. I honestly have never had a bad experience. I have also been to other clinics as well but here I come the most to it’s my favorite place to receive my health services. Staff has always treated me with respect and professionalism. Special shout-out to Sophie the clinician she is simply amazing! She was polite, warm and welcoming. Not to mention whilst being professional she made me very comfortable and feel like a person not just a patient. Answered any questions I had and didn’t rush me. I’m very happy here, keep up the great work everyone! It’s not easy to work in the health field
Carriana Smith: I called 5 times on my way for an 11:30 appointment because i live 30 minutes out and wanted to let them know i would be running late i arrive at 11:44 they tell me at 11:45 i can’t be seen because there’s a 15 minute grace period. K
Abbey: I definitely support planned parenthood but I waited over a hour for a prescription pickup. I don’t think that’s remotely acceptable.
haileigh johns: never answer the phones, practically impossible to make appointments, all workers are disrespectful and rude.
Alpaca: I had a HORRIBLE pap exam here. She used three different speculums and also insulted my genitals appearance. They were extremely unprofessional and I can't recommend this office, use a different one or gyno altogether.
Alex Maxwell: Very welcoming office and the staff were all super nice! They answered questions and listened to issues, have good advice as well. I'm so glad we have a resource like this near by! This was my first time going but I'll be going at least yearly now got exams and help
Koua Lee: Great staff but they never pick up phone calls.
Julieanne: I’ve been to the Livonia, Warren, and Ferndale locations and they’ve all been good but this one is definitely my favorite. I had an IUD put in today & it went so much better than I anticipated. The clinician was so kind & gentle. The staff is always so nice! I think wait times can sometimes extend because they actually take the time to talk with each patient and answer questions rather than shooing you out the door.
Corrie Pry: While the wait was a bit long- it’s like that at any dr office. Aside from that, every staff member treated me with respect, and they were extremely thorough. They set my mind at ease and answered my questions without blowing me off like every other GYN I’ve been to. The sliding scale is so helpful. I am not insured so a 27 dollar appointment is much more manageable than stressing over a 300 dollar bill. Thank you!

Shae Twizzlers: Never had any issues. My previous doctor stop doing office visits which was a bummer but I was provided with a great recommendation. That helped alot because I didn't have to leave the office and search elsewhere.
Kyra Fair: I hope someone Reads this review, my first birth experience ruined I went to this hospital received not so good service. I went in to have my child due to preeclampsia complications. It wasn’t the greatest service from the doctors but at least they came to talk to me and apologize for the terrible service and experience my husband and I received. what really made it worse was they lost my wedding ring and a bracelet! I have yet to really receive an answer on where my items are, but I’ve gotten multiple stories on which Nurse miss placed it. I’m hoping that they make it right but I have yet to receive any compensation or answers.
Joeyy White: If You care about your loved one's health Stay away from this clinic and any other hutzel's clinics

Yvonne Ciaravino: Dr. Vista is so thorough and kind! The office staff is very professional.
swhite2469: The doctors and staff here are always kind. They know how to make you feel comfortable and calm. The doctors make you feel important no matter how many other patients they have. I would definitely recommend to others.
Kricel Bermudez: Dr. Alfieri is wonderful, is my second time with she and she is really nice dr.
ChristinaBaker3 Baker: Have known Dr. Vista-Deck for nearly 19 years, trust her completely!
Ebony Jerks: The ladies are always nice and professional.
Sarah Mertz: I felt extremely welcome by everyone at this office. From the secretaries, to the medical assistant, to the physician. I could not have felt more taken care of.
Channel Ozias: The medical team is WONDERFUL. I had some issues with some of the front desk staff not being friendly & incorrect appointment dates & times. I spoke to the office manager about it just to promote process improvement and then the next week the appointment we had made was at the wrong location.
Niva Dangol Shrestha: Staffs are rude. They charge you for getting your own medical records per page that was sent electronically to my new provider. :/
Jamie: I have been a patient for 5 to 6 years here. I am very happy and satisfied with the care I receive. I feel as though my safety and over all care is number one to the doctors and staff. I am always in the loop about what is going on and what my options are. I recommend Hutzel Women's Health Specialists to anyone looking for this type of care.

Northland Family Planning - Sterling Heights: what do users think?
Daphne Lane: Had the first of my two day appointment yesterday. While I was sure of my decision, I was still quite nervous. Every single one of the staff members maybe have been the nicest people I’ve interacted with in months. They were all very supportive and kind. The building location is also very well thought out. The entrance is in the back where you park so there is not interaction with people standing around outside if you don’t want. Very private!
Lauren Thorpe: I wouldn’t give these NASTY rude people ONE star, my friend was treated so disgusting today & was hung up on 3x & told she had to wait outside after coughing 2x…I asked to speak with a manager & was told I didn’t need to bc they didn’t want to do business with my friend bc she has a smokers cough!! the girl at the front desk Jennifer needs to be fired along side the woman with the colorful hair…in this predicament who would want to be treated with lack of compassion..I wouldn’t take my dead fish to these ppl let alone my cervix..10/10 wouldn’t recommend!
S G: The front desk staff who go through your paperwork are nothing like the people aiding you with your actual procedure. They are not medically or professionally in my opinion trained. I say this with having only experienced one individual so other individuals there may have more compassion and understanding. My experience in the beginning was rough and the girl with pink hair was just rude and lacked compassion at a job where safety and empathy should be top priority for women making a very difficult decision. I cried hysterically after my meeting with her.TFMR is not something anyone wishes to have to go through and at the beginning of my experience at Northland it was extremely emotional and raw. My husband and I waited from 8am to 1pm to finally get prepped for my procedure. Which was explained and expected. Once brought to where they did the procedure I was greeted with what felt like completely different staff. I felt safe and felt like my worries were addressed and heard. The medical professionals that aided in this aspect of care were pristine. I actually felt like someone finally read my chart and somone finally said “I’m sorry we have to meet under these circumstances and that the baby is so sick”. This made such an impact. In the end I wish I could rate what almost seems like two different experiences. Maybe in someway this will help scared women, like I was myself. Where I definitely read reviews in my decision making.
Jazlyn Acre: When I walked in I was greeted by a kind receptionist. I was taken back pretty quick to sign paperwork and go over a few things with a very kind young lady. I even text my boyfriend when taken to the second waiting room how comfortable everyone had made me feel so far. This was an extremely hard decision for us. We have a big happy family so this decision was not easy but it was best for us. I then, after a short wait was taken back for what I think would have been an ultrasound. I was stopped by the young woman as she said “you sound congested,” I stated it may be my allergies as they were acting up a bit. I was also crying in the bathroom as I was a little emotional creating a little stuffyness. I was also in the bathroom with morning sickness in the office. I felt pretty good aside from what I was there for. Mind you though, we all have masks on for protection just in case. I was abruptly told to follow her(no idea what was going on), she took me to the front, handed me some papers and stated I will not be able to be seen and to call them back in 72 hours when I feel better. She then said we need you to leave the building. This girl then walked away. I was SHOCKED as I felt fine and was not sick. I didn’t get her name but she had long sandy blonde hair, white skin and tattoos down her arms. I took the day off work, I’ve been so physically sick from the pregnancy and the decision to come was hard enough, let alone have to do this all over again. I could have understood more if she KINDLY explained to me that maybe employees were immune compromised or that there are employees who can’t risk getting sick or SOMETHING! She was sooooo rude and to tell me I need to leave the building was absurd. I was dropped off as they stayed no guests and it was a snow storm. NO WAY, I am going to wait INSIDE for my ride. I then before leaving asked about hours of operation and she was by the window (I dreaded speaking to her again) as she stayed “we need you to leave the building.” She made me feel HORRIBLE, how can you work in this profession and treat people like that? I was a receptionist manager for a large health care company for many years and if the reps ever treated patients that way they would definitely be reprimanded. I now work for a large healthcare system in customer service as a QUALITY analyst and I just would never allow any rep to speak to a patient with such lack of compassion. I understand protocol and policies but I don’t understand straight rudeness and insensitivity. It’s sad because based off the two girls I was first encountered with I would have definitely recommended this office but that woman really ruined it for me. I see in another review this office stated in a reply that they will not tolerate disrespect to their staff, well this should work both ways.
SM: Such a comforting and empowering place. Being that it was my first time, I was very nervous. The wait was long, but less time than they planned for. The procedure itself was super quick. The doctor was a female and was a bit disconnected (it could’ve also been my emotions) , however I’m sure that happens doing these procedures all day. I was not sedated and was very happy with that decision despite the pain. So thankful for women’s right to choose in Michigan. We are very lucky women. I’m still happy with my decision a month later!
Queen Quiva: This why I will love to work there and planning to very soon🤞🏾. I know the customer service is great over the phone and patient care is wonderful, they with you every step of the way. I can’t wait to be part of the team.
I J: I just had to share my experience for anyone else who maybe in a similar situation. I came here and had to make a very difficult decision but for my health. I was extremely nervous and scared but kept it together. They do inform you otp that the process is long and it is just due to them helping other clients along with them ensuring they have all the necessary information before the procedure. Every member of this staff was sweet, caring, reassuring, informative and walked me through the entire process. My nerves began to calm as the day progressed. All of my questions were answered. I was taken care of and felt safe from the time I walked through the doors until the time I left. They rooms were calming and I didn’t get too much of a hospital vibe. It was more like a safe haven. I appreciate all of the ladies there and the security guard that ensured my safety and walked me through this process. I didn’t know what I would be walking into but I for sure didn’t think the experience would be like this. If you are looking for a location or just a team of people to speak to I would recommend this facility. Even when I got the procedure the ladies in the room held my hand made sure I took deep breaths and ensured me it was over. The Dr was nice and answered all of my questions and unfortunately I don’t remember if I thanked the staff in the room that did the procedure because I was a lil drowsy but if you’re reading this thank you. When I went home I read all of the information and my mind was truly at ease.I appreciate you all for protecting women and women’s rights ♥️♥️
Sida A: This practice provides healthcare
The Websters: I went and got what I needed done no issues no problem staff was good process was quick
Jayne Dough: I couldn't give no stars, someone should make that an option!!After waiting 5 hours I was taken back into the room, at which time the doctor came in. She went to do the injection for medication and sighed, she asked the nurse for another 'butterfly ". I asked was everything OK and she replied 'yeah, veins just hate me today'.After 5 other times of not getting my vein and blowing 3 veins she was clearly frustrated I asked if anyone eles in the office could find a vein and I was told 'no, I am the only one'Well, that's kinda of alarming considering any life saving medication would need to go through a vien'!?!?Anyway, this Doctor Lane did not do the procedure, keep 200 dollars for an ultrasound and tried to tell me I had to go to a hospital for high risk. No lady, respectfully speaking, I went to the woman's center the next day at 9am, was done in 2 hours and that amazing doctor had not one problem getting my vein on the 1st try.I would be considered for anyone going somewhere to have such a serious and sensitive procedure done and the doctor doesn't know how to draw blood. 🤔In all I'm appreciative of what happened, a doctor that incompetent could seriously hurt you and I feel like I dodged the bullet. The Woman's Center on 8 mile was more pricey, but it is true, you get what you pay for🤷‍♀️
Jade Chance: Jenny is the absolute worse. She shouldn't be working in such a emotionally sensitive field. She has the worse attitude I've encountered while dealing with something like this. The worse experience I could've imagined. Furthermore the owner doesn't respect the patrons opions left in reviews. Instead deflects the issues by calling patients liars or demanding that they don't leave an honest review in order to be seen. I've read his replies to reviews and it's pathetic and distasteful to say the least. And If you do dare leave a review before actually receiving your procedure they will cancel your appointment and have security walk you out. YES, for your review they will refuse to service you. That says a lot about how the owner allows business to be handled here. If you want a stressful, uncomfortable, and frustrating experience this is the perfect place to go. If you want to be treated like only a dollar sign this is the perfect place to go.
Touría’s Studio: This place is very unprofessional and doesn’t give good care services! I made and appointment and they canceled it called me to reschedule it and never put in the system! Then they said well we can have a manager call you back in a few days?! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!
Lance Kong: Not a good experience. Giving two stars is to not downplay the effort of the nice surgical doctor and some good nurses.Front desk was lack of patience, instead of seeing smile on their faces, it's full of sick and tired of the job and dealing the customers. The Ultrasound nurse was not willing to listen explanation. She had her own playbook to read robotically and didn't care your concerns and threatened she will cancel my appointment if I dare to leave the waiting room for any minutes for anything. Lady if you don't like your job or dealing with people then why not just quit and start to do something else without hurting people coldbloodedly ? It's already a hard choice and heart-hurting to do it, then you just hurt people again. Don't look down on people making such choices, Everyone has its own situation and if you are not in that situation you will not really feel or totally understand why we made such a tough decision.Overall not a good experience.
Marissa Rodriguez: If the goal is to steer women away from ever needing or wanting an abortion than this is the perfect place to go . Outside of the staff who were nice and informative the dr doing the procedure is inconsiderate of feelings and rude . Being this was my first time ever needing an abortion it was very emotional along with pain I was not expecting or prepared for which seemed to make the dr very irritated and short tempered with me DURING the traumatic process . I hope I never have to be put in this situation again because I’m most definitely scarred from her lack of compassion
Raven Chamberlain: Extremely professional and the staff makes you feel comfortable. It’s also an all women office including the doctor which for me personally was a huge plus. Im very happy with the quality of care and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to all the staff at northland family planning
Asia Jenkins: Great customer service, a little wait time but nothing crazy , very clean and welcoming
Donte Edwards: Rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend. They treat women disrespectfully. The receptionists are rude. Don’t patronize this location.
Roshauwnda Chance: I regret choosing this location.I left this review at 12:45 while waiting on my procedure to begin. I have been here at this location since 9:40am. It’s currently now 1pm and Jenny the office manager just called security to ask me to leave the premises and informed me that she would not be allowing me to proceed with my procedure because I left a one star review online. This is unacceptable. For them to refuse services because someone left a review. I then asked her, can clients not leave honest reviews about their experiences. She was extremely aggravated by the one star review I left. Which is unacceptable and unprofessional. Furthermore, Michigan state law requires women to be offered a copy of the ultrasound if they choose. I was asked by a young lady named Ken if I would like this option to receive a copy of the ultrasound photo or if I’d like to opt out of this option. I chose to request the copy. I selected this option on the form Ken gave me and proceeded with my paperwork. However, I was never given a copy of the release form to fill out to be given the copy of the ultrasound photo. So after I received my vaginal ultrasound, I had not received the photo. I didn’t mention it. But I was expecting it. They then tell me that there’s another form to be filled out in order to receive the copy. And then they say I’ll have to wait 30 days. Why when I’m looking at ultrasound photos that were printed out for the doctor. So I ask to the lady please let me speak with a manager in the office. She blows me off and sends me back to the waiting area to waiting for the manager Jenny to come speak to me about what’s the hold up with my copy of the ultrasound. And why I have to wait 30 days when it was supposed to be printed after the ultrasound. And Why they ignored the option I selected requesting a copy to begin. I made sure to put it in my paperwork as a request, yet they moved through the process ignoring my right to receive a copy of that photo. After me being sent back to wait on Jenny, this is when I left my original one star review. Not saying much. Just simply leaving that I had regrets about choosing this location. This clearly agitated Jenny because she put me out the office and told me it was because I had just left a review online. Also that I was being difficult by asking why I had to wait 30 days for a copy of my ultrasound that should’ve been printed when my ultrasound was done. This is unacceptable. This is unprofessional. And this is the way NFP treats women that come in. Services should never be refused because an office employee because of a review that they don’t approve of. It’s my opinion. It’s my experience. I should be able to share it. This is already a sensitive time for families. My spouse and I have been here for 4 hours. Time that we can’t get back. Just to leave the same way I came. Time wasted because Jenny woke up on the wrong side of the bed or came to work upset and in a bad mood. She is the first person I encountered at the lobby window. Which would explain why other reviewers say that the first people you speak with are rude and have nasty attitudes. I’m so hormonal obviously. Being treated in this way really hurt emotionally. Going through the paperwork. Going through all the steps. After making a decision. To be forced to leave. Because of giving my opinion online. And then her telling me in front of the security guard Maurice that it’s because of my review. So she had no remorse for her rude unprofessionalism. Just a heads up to future women. If you must go here. You should not give your opinion on the staff or establishment until after you have left the business completely. Or you will be put out by Jenny. Also if you want to follow the Michigan State Law and receive a photo copy of your ultrasound if you so choose or desire the copy, they will move along with the steps without making sure you receive it. I do not recommend. To emphasize my original review. I definitely regret choosing this location.
Asya Ziyad: WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. I’ve been back and forth to the waiting room multiple times between being poked and prodded repeatedly for what should’ve been an in and out ordeal. I’ve been here for over an hour and now that they’ve taken my payment, they’re telling me that it’ll be two more hours... I should’ve been in and out in 30 minutes. I feel like a hostage. This place is terrible.Update: they later called (on private) asking to have the negative review removed. (Not to apologize)........ super inappropriate. Not going back for a follow up.
M Khan: The staff at this abortion provider are lovely- they take the time to talk with patients and are caring and make sure people do not feel judged. They are very careful with patient safety and confidentiality, and provide quality care to everyone, and they are especially an advocate for Muslim and Arab communities looking for abortion support.
DaeQuan Jackson: I wasn’t a patient but a guest of one and the reception and people you meet in the first five minutes are rude. they either woke up cranky and brought it to work or are just naturally unpleasant. they don’t have a system in place to where things go accordingly, they just do things how they feel at the time. good luck to those who go there !
