Ankit Bhat: Worst realty experience in my life. Scheduled a home tour. I showed up and the agent was showing other people the house at the time slotted to me. I came back 10 min later as advised by the agent only to find him gone. When I called him, he wouldn't pick up his calls. He only texted me saying he was busy in the morning and to come back in the afternoon.Do no use this realtor. Their company lacks punctuality and professionalism.

Keith Rhodes: If I could give 0 stars I would. ASHRAF KARIM was the buyers realtor when we sold my 87 year old mother's home. Every single time our realtor needed them to do anything (send a new agreement, process a form, etc) they did NOTHING. It took threats, continued phone calls, and actually listing the house again to get this horrid excuse for a realtor to DO HIS JOB.I would stay so far away from this realtor as he made the entire process very stressful. I have bought and sold many houses and I couldn't imagine a worse realtor.

Sharika Ahmed: I had no contact with anyone from Amin Realty. However, on the day of my signing with the home owner from whom I was purchasing the home from. BAHAR UDDIN from Amin Realty arrived in the middle of my signing with his clients and abruptly began bidding at a higher price. I'm not sure how the real estate business works, but the homeowner should not have scheduled someone after us when he knew we were coming to do the signing. But, with common sense, I can tell you that coming into the house seeing there’s already people there signing and then you start shouting and bidding at a higher price to get him to back out of the deal he has already signed with us is very UNPROFESSIONAL. During the few hours we were there doing paperwork, Bahar Uddin DID NOT LEAVE every 5-10 minutes; instead, he kept coming over to look over my shoulder, and eavesdrop which was very UNCOMFORTABLE and again UNPROFESSIONAL. Again, he lacked the common sense to leave with his clients and allow us to complete our paperwork in peace. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I would never consider working with anyone from Amin Realty in the future if this is how they run their business.For anyone that considers Anim Realty please do not work with BAHAR UDDIN. Very unprofessional, ill mannered, disrespectful, and disgusting guy I have ever come in contact with in a professional setting.

caroline maxwell: The only reason he got 2 stars is that he sold my condo other than there is a huge list of unprofessional and probably illegal things he did.1. he said 5%( in Mi it’s alway 6%) that should have been a red flag.2. we signed a SELLERS contract.I was having multiple showings a day.(1000+ saves on Zillow)I asked specifically for bids. He never gave me any. I know there were some.We had an open condo only 4 people showed. ( remember a 1000 saves on Zillow and all the showing).3. I specifically asked for bids he said he would send them. He never did give them to me.The only bid he said was a couple that supposedly had no agent.4 . MOST important is that he changed the contract from Only sellers agent to duel agent. That is against the law. I signed it because price was above asking price and he said no other bids. I kept asking for other bids that he never sent me. Even if lower I had right to see them.I suspect He either was their buyers agent to begin with or he told them the price I would go for. It was above asking but since he never told me the other bids there could have been higher ones. He told me only the one that he became the buyers agent for.Therefore instead of getting 2.5%( in MI it’s split between seller and buyer) he got full 5% which is more than if he said 6%at the beginning.A final note is DO NOT trust him. He changes things to suit himself and only himself. He does not care about the seller or the buyer. He is in for the MONEY

He also introduced me to a great loan consultant by the name of Stephen Ferency from Caliber Home loans. Stephen helped me get a loan to purchase my home. Everyone is inside one building, the realtor, the loan consultant and even the title agency. They all made me feel very important. It’s a one stop shop inside of Amin Realty at 31912 Mound Road. Lastly, I can’t forget Shuba from Petra Title Agency, she was also very nice and helpful at my closing

Linda Robinson: If you are considering renting the home at 16531 Mark Twain in Detroit Michigan please please ask for proof that the drain in the basement in front of the sink backs up frequently. The floor needs to be taken up to the proper repairs. The home has a rodent problem that is cause by holes being in the house causing easy access. In the winter time the upstairs bedroom does not get enough heat.I have proof of all these things needing to be repaired. At the end of my lease there was a power outage which cause me to fall behind in my exit of the property i asked for more time which I was denied. I am disabled with numerous health problems and was given no consideration after being a tenant for over 5 years. So please please ask for proof that these are corrected I have all the proof about these claims

Natalie Lamport: The people I interacted with were fine, but the policies/fine print were horrible. For example, when something broke in our house (ex. the AC, toilet, etc) we had to pay the bill to fix it… even though it was an old rental and broke on its own. And if we called them to ask if they could fix it, they would send someone out, then charge us the full bill PLUS money for the administrative purpose of them just making that phone call.Another scammy feature was the water bill. We would pay the home store for water, plus an extra $16 administrative fee EVERY month just to tell us our water bill. And it wasn’t an option to get the bill sent directly to us to avoid that extra charge.Last thing specific to my rental, 130 W Meyers in Hazel Park: there were some mature trees in the area whose roots had cut through our outflow pipes. Meaning after we used our shower, it would reflux leaves, sticks, and dirt into our tub. They would send plumbers for a quick fix of just snaking the drain (and they charged us for it…), but never would fix the root of the problem, the broken pipes. Kind of scares me to wonder how they would handle a leaky old roof. Might just be stuck with that leak for your whole contract, then lose your security deposit for water damage

Steven Welsh: Now that I have my security deposit back I am freely writing about the homestore. Regularly didn't respond to maintenance requests, had a leaking faucet from september to march 31st. Reported it and never repaired, then they attempted to charge for it when I moved out. Charged for repair of a stray bullet (yes, in ferndale) that came thru the window and into the wall, they came by patched the hole and repaired the blinds and charged me for both. Then tried to charge me for painting the wall a second time after I moved out.Tried to charge me for the cheap bathroom door that stripped the screws and fell off the hinges resulting in a misalignment with the frame and cracking. Door was "repaired" during the lease as I didn't have a functioning bathroom door for weeks. They claimed that the work order "got misplaced and this rarely happens."When I moved out attempted to charge me 400$ for a year's worth of paint (estimated life 3 years), home store couldn't provide matching paint because they took over my lease half way thru and wanted me to go to home depot and match the sample during the pandemic for a few nail holes. Managed to talk them down to 6months worth of paint since they said that they were going to repaint anyway.To home owners looking to have your properties managed by The Home Store, if you want somebody to do less than the bare minimum and collect rent slum lord style, this is the place for you.

All of the multiple tenants that have lived here have said the same thing, they are scam artists that do not repair anything. They will charge the renter for anything they can.The landscaping of the yard was fantastic when they bought the property and now it is a disgrace to the neighborhood. My wife and I weeded then planted some shrubs and flowers around it only to have a property manager tell us to remove it or they would and charge us. I asked what they would plant there and she said nothing grass will eventually grow. She was rude and very unprofessional.When I have called the company to talk to a manager I get a voice mail and no return call.The tenant has gotten so fed up they are chopping all the landscaping down and pouring gas and chemicals on the ground. The screens and blinds are damaged and look terrible, the fence is falling down around the property and the neighbors are stuck looking at it. In my opinoin this company seems to be the epitome of a slum lord and Bradley Cohen is the name of the owner running it according to the website.

kelsey kelly: I so wished I was writing a good review here. I find most of the staff to be lovely and helpful people. My experience leaving my lease early has been awful. I’ve been completely compliant with everything they have asked of me. In the end they are charging me for a bunch of things that were already issues with the home before I moved in. I had to pay rent while not living there. They have taken my intire security deposit of $2095. Along with changing me another $350 on top of that. I highly recommend going elsewhere to rent. If you choose to do so document everything keep every email. Take very good photo’s. I’ve called 6 times to ask about these things and no one answers I finally had my boyfriend call and he was only able to get a email address. Which no one has responded to my email. So frustrating I know I was a good tenant.

Krysta Vincent: They were fine until we had to move out early. The experience was a nightmare. The staff was unprofessional and rude every step of the way as we attempted to cooperate with them. We finally got our list of damages, almost a month late, and were nickled and dimed our way out of the security deposit. I don't have the time or energy to contest the damages as even getting a list was a win in my eyes. I thought I would have to take them to small claims court to get even that, considering the staff lied to me about sending it out in the first place. When you move into a dump, and then they see your money as a chance to finally do some maintenance on their property, you don't stand a chance. I do not recommend this company. Find a different company to lease from. If you have to break the lease, it will be an awful experience, like it was for us.

After repairing walls from previous renters. They penny penched me to do more repairs which I had to tell them was not in the lease agreement. I recommend not using this company for your properties or for your rentals.
