T.R. Youngblood Jr: The shrine of Naughtical Culture. New club house, new food. Everyone was very nice and good. I tried the hummer; which is a drink, invented there by Sir Jerome Adams & it was perhaps one of the best drinks I’ve ever had.
grace pappas: I dislike the menu it’s not even close to how it used to be 10 years ago. They are crashing. I miss the old staff and the old food. They over cooked everything my family ordered. The appetizers are over priced and not that good. The calamari really bothers me. Also the hostess has an attitude that’s not favorable.

Exactly what one would expect from one of the most extraordinarily competitive sailing clubs in the states: sleek, functional, well tuned and very inviting. Unfortunately, there are no social memberships offered but YCA reciprocity is recognized.

Service was prompt, quality of ingredients / preparation was very good, prices were fair, and the setting is great. Often times the places with a great location underdeliver and are overpriced. Great medium priced restaurant experience.

Shu Zhang: My son has a lot fun there. He has been there every summer for two years. He will go there again on this summer. It’s a good place. The coaches teach the kids on their passion with abundant knowledge.

The Pontiac Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program continues to gain visibility and respect through its successful competition. The open water on Cass Lake is an ideal setting for sailing instruction at all skill levels for ages 7 to 17 years old. All program instructors are US Sailing Certified. And all of this is right in your neighborhood!!

Laura Rothkopf OGrady: I've had a wonderful experience with Lake St. Clair Sailing School. I started out as a nervous sailor. All of Lake St. Clair Sailing School's instructors were patient, encouraging, and very skilled. As a result, sailing has become one of my favorite past times. I also love that instruction takes place on a 30 ft. boat, so you are learning on a boat that would actually be used for open-water sailing.
Scott Walter: We picked out this school after researching and talking to several in the Detroit area. One important difference to us was that Lake St Clair Sailing School offers evening sailing to strength your skills at a very reasonable rate. We are a group of four and just completed the ASA 101 class in their 30 foot Catalina. What a great experience. Can't say enough about Captain Jim. He made us feel comfortable and created a fun experience while learning all of the necessary skills. We all decided that we are taking the next class, ASA 103 with Captain Jim as well.

Jacqueline Hartman: We went for a wedding, place looked beautiful, food was delicious, and they were most definitely busy even outside the wedding. I saw a bridal shower going on earlier in the day and lots of people coming to take photos, not sure why.

ronnie engineer: I had the worst experience yesterday (new years eve). My grandpa and I came here with a friend and it took 30 minutes just to get drinks! Apparently the chef had called sick and half their menu was gone…. So we ordered what was available. It took us 2 hours of sitting doing nothing to realize that we weren’t getting our food. Sadly my grandpa passed out at this place and none of the staff helped us…. One of the other customers called 911 and we still didn’t get help by staff 😡 it was the worst experience that I have ever had! I would give this a -1 star but I can’t. I’m never coming back here again. Worst thing in the world. DONT GO HERE! Please trust me It was bad.

Lori Somerset: Food was cold. We were in the outside building. It was supposed to have heat. They brought out 3 large heaters to heat the outside building in Michigan in October! They were kind of useless! It was freezing in that building! The staff consisted of teenage girls who really didn't have much a clue what was happening. We were told to bring our own plates, napkins, & utinsils. Well they weren't used and when we asked where our stuff was they literally had no clue. They were very rude.I certainly don't recommend this facility!
Elizabeth Brown: Building (if you call it that) was freezing. You know its cold when staff are wearing winter coats. Staff gave guests lip and attitude. Would never rent this for any occasion. There are better places in the Shores.

John Landis: The parking situation could certainly be improved, often times customers park without much consideration for the boats / trailers that are carefully positioned for precision access, leading to a blockage situation. Otherwise I think this is a very nice marina, especially for storing a boat on the water.
