I have seen other recitals and even visited another school that a friend of mine taught at and it in no way compared. The staff is great the people are great and I can not say enough how much my girls have learned .
STACEY HEMELBERG: Small school but the kids seem to like it. Their competition team is "very competitive and always "the team to beat" per a mother whose daughter attends a different school.

We both were interested in learning a few ballroom/waltz steps for our wedding and neither of us had any previous experience but Anna was amazing, she made us both feel so comfortable and confident on the dance floor. I have been going there for almost a year and a half and I have learned a lot in that time that I thought I would not learn this quickly in this amount of time, but the way they teach you can learn pretty fast just by the way they break it down for you into easy 1 ,2.3 steps! and they are very patient with you! I originally came in simply to learn more Swing, but ever since I've started I'm finding I'm loving not just swing but many of the other dances taught as well: Salsa, Cha-Cha, Tango, Rumba, Waltz, and many more! I can't recommend Andrea enough as an instructor (she's amazing!), but I've found that all of the instructors at this site are incredible to work with. The timing was perfect; after four weeks of dance lessons there was a Spotlight Dance where Jason helped me show off what I had learned. It was a lot of fun.

Michael Pugliese: Troy Dance Studio has a beautiful new building with a larger dance floor, but the same warm and encouraging atmosphere. This a great place to learn how to dance, especially salsa and bachata, but also tango and ballroom. They have excellent teachers, many of whom are professional performers and have many years of experience. They have great parties on the second Saturday of each month (with tasty food made by the owner herself) and often have Friday night dance parties as well. It is more than just a studio; it is a very warm community of friendly people. I love it and highly recommend it!

Lexi Skye: RUDE service to start off with. Second , they don’t smile when your trying to be nice and at least try to give them your business. They don’t listen when you explain and they care less. The owner is very rude tbh she wasn’t even smiling and she just stood their looking at me. The front desk lady was alright but when I came in no greeting no nothing it looked like she didn’t wanna work.when I was explaining staff to her she just looked uninterested and zoned out. Don’t go here the service is horrible from not only the front desk but the manager/owner herself. I wonder how they treat kids and run classes. I was considering bringing my child not anymore from what I seen.I warned you please save your money and time for someplace that cares and wants business. Save yourself from rude service and this place is very scary the location is in a literal mall in the basement. Go somewhere else there’s lots of dance studios around that want your service. I’d recommended Robert Lee dance studio if you live near there or Jeannie Zimbalatti’s school of dance best in Michigan.

Ken Obryan: My daughters love this place there a great dance place for kids every thing is very well organized and maintained. The dance instructors are very paitent with the kids and the facilities are well taken care of. The only complaint I have is that there isn’t a family bathroom for dads with there daughters. I see more and more fathers with there daughters at dance anymore and we need a place to take them to change or use the bathroom. The last few times the family bathroom in the mall has been closed resulting to going to the men’s bathroom my my daughters. We love this place and continue to come every week. Hopefully this might get the wheels turning!

Helen Turner: We took dancing lessons prior to our October 2018 wedding and so happy that we did. We felt confident when we stepped onto the dance floor for our 1st dance to "At Last". We heard someone say, "They must have taken dance lessons." When we did the underarm turn, there were cheers from our guests. Thanks to our instructor, Dani and the great staff at this beautiful facility. You made our very important day all the more special!
Helen T: We had our 1st intro session and signed up for a package of private and group lessons. Everyone was very welcoming, enthusiastic and encouraging. We hope to learn to dance at our wedding to "At Last." This facility is beautiful and the dance floor is very big with a large mirrored wall and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto Woodward Avenue.
