Elliott Saw Works: what do users think?
Greg Moots: The best place I've ever found for sharpening. They've never burnt a blade. My dad loves them, and he was a shop teacher. The service is great. they also do some chainsaw repairs, and sell blades of all types.
G Virga: Awesome saw blade shop! They sharpen all the carbide blades that are normally discarded. A very rare find in today's disposable society. I brought them a old band saw blade and they welded up a new one while I waited.
Noah Delaney: Quick, affordable service. They made me a bandsaw blade cut to length while I waited. Knowledgeable staff that is focused on solving your problem instead of taking your money.
Stephan Jeffries: Those guys are really knowledgeable about saws and chains....thought I knew something!
William Richardson: I took seven knives in to be sharpened on a Saturday. They said they would be ready on Wednesday. They were and to my surprise they applied a thin layer over the blade for protection. I’m impressed and will be back again. Very nice and helpful.
Grant Dervishi: These people are miracle workers. They made my army knife look brand new
Kevin Johnston: Elliott Sawworks is great; blades come back very sharp for a reasonable fee.
Jonathon Springer: Great business, great family, great quality of work. Highly recommend for any type of blade sharpening needs.
joe murray: If ya want the sharpest tool in a shed, you'll bring it here 1st before the shed.
terenence robinson: When I goTo Elliot saw I take everything in my house with a blade and they are the best no one and I mean no one touches them
Dustin White: I had an exceptionally poor experience with these guys recently. They cannot keep promised timelines and their customer service is non existent. Not to worry though, I wont bother them with my business going forward.
Cindy Shea: If we could give “zero” review we would. Have a Remington electric chainsaw that has a loose chain. Took it in to be tightened but was told they had never seen one like it before and refused to touch it. Went home and downloaded the manual with the complete instructions on how to tighten the chain (we didn’t want to do it ourselves). Took the chainsaw and the manual back to the shop and asked for service, and were told a snarky “good luck.” We try to support local businesses, but this horrible customer service was absolutely unacceptable. Go anywhere but here!
Twan Squad: Quite Ma N PA Shop ... Good Service
kaleeseternity: Awesome place! Got my Katanana nice and sharp
Jay Gardner: Nice to deal with a business that has been in long as they have. Service is exceptional. They know their stuff. The only place I will have work on my 76 Jonsered saw.
Jacob Feitler: Called to see if they would sharpen kitchen knives. Told they would. Upon arrival they were just sitting around. Told me it would take almost a week to sharpen 3 knives because they "were busy".
Leonard Ostrovsky: edge professionals .absolutely the best...my kbar, my marbles hatchet(real one).my army bolo, perfect.
Steve Rohr: Had chipped a tooth on a very expensive table saw blade. They replaced the tooth, cleaned and sharpened the blade. Total cost was under $20. In 50yrs of woodworking, I have never seen a sharpening service do such a good job. Excellent!
Bob Easterbrook: These guys know chainsaws like nobody else! They'll give you all kinds of tips only an expert would know. I've had several saws and other outdoor power equipment repaired by them. They do a great job and sharpen chains extremely well. You can't go wrong!
marianne zak: Sharpened the blade for my mandolin (kitchen variety, not musical instrument). A tricky job because very close to blade's edge, a bolt's welded to it. Time in shop was less the 10 min.
Tim Olson: I heard about Elliott Saw Works through a woodworking forum. I wanted to find a local place to sharpen my carbide table saw blades. I'm very happy I found them. The service was incredible. They were able to sharpen it in the store in just a few hours. This compares to other stores that take a week or more and often have to send them out. Their sharpening price was about half of the mail-to stores, plus I would have to pay for shipping, which was expensive. The quality of the sharpening was awesome too, he really knows what he was doing. Finally they were also very friendly.
