Bob and his partner showed up on time and completed the entire job in less than 30 minutes. He also discouraged the use of over-the-counter products because they're a waste of money. I told her we had a septic inspection done with the inspection on the home we we’re purchasing (in January) and were told to get it cleaned by this summer because it wasn’t cared for. She immediately had a nasty attitude and told me the company that the mortgage company used to inspect our home must’ve not been certified bc they should’ve done a pump at the same time, but all they did was put a camera in the piping to make sure it was all clear since the home was neglected for a few years. I told her that they are certified because it was needed before we signed the final purchase of the home and she told me I’m wrong and would not let me finish any sentence and kept repeating herself. I told her I didn’t want to argue and just would like to book an appointment please and she hung up on me!Horrendous customer service. I will never call here again.

Andrew Krull: Eric at Universal is great!! I was looking to purchase a home and the inspector noted there was a potential issue with the septic system. I called Eric (and he answered at 7:30pm!) and he was out the next day to help me investigate. After poking around digging a few holes for over an hour he was able to identify the issue and provide me with guidance on what it was going to take to fix it. When we were done I asked him how much I owed him and it was NOTHING! They dug a small hole to inspect the field and looked into the tank. Gave me good news that the tank level was normal, and everything appeared to be working fine. No charge for this. I was told that it should last.

I had plans to install my septic in March '21 and the frost on roads kept heavy equipment off of them - Universal kept in touch with me to assure of the earliest possible date. When they came out to prepare the install, I shared my dissatisfaction with another septic installer's plan approved by the county (I didn't know any better). Eric the owner suggested a different approach, which completely met my request and got everything approved, installed and cleared up in short order - I was thrilled.The storms came in July and trees dropped everywhere, power was out. Our Electric Company came out to restore power and restring power lines where trees took them out. You would think they would see the Universal Septic sign I put right over the tank and field but they didn't, they drove right over the tank. I called Eric for help, he came out and saw the tank was crushed. He gave me a replacement estimate really fast, after all the communication was completed, he installed the new tank in just a few days.You can't ask for better communication, service and responsiveness. Service was too of the line and the team was quickly able to get to the house and replace my line. They spent extra time not only fixing my problem but also inspecting the tank as well. At the end of the job they took the extra time to clean up and leave the area in the best shape they could. Would definitely recommend them in the future. Pricing was more then fair as well.
