Issac Curtis: From the initial screening process to the actual donation process, the staff were professional, courteous, and made me feel comfortable throughout. The screening process was thorough, and the staff took the time to explain everything to me in detail. Would recommend.
James Dupuis: I had an amazing experience with Sperm Donation Michigan and I highly recommend them to others considering becoming a donor.

Kindbody - Detroit: what do users think?
Lauren Foster: Dr. Hakman is wonderful - she's compassionate, skilled and is a great listener. She identified a blood clotting disorder that my previous fertility clinic missed. I'm super grateful for her expertise, knowledge, and compassion. Everyone onsite at the Southfield office is great, friendly and encouraging and I have zero complaints about my actual care. My review is for the external staff for this big corporation with multiple locations throughout the country. They cannot seem to help me with insurance pre-approval despite repeated attempts to explain to them my coverage and a 3rd party approval process through WIN Fertility. They do not communicate well, do not seem interested in helping, and refuse to submit documentation for a required cycle pre-approval through the 3rd party even though that 3rd party and my insurance have expressly told me multiple times that it will be covered as long as it's pre-approved. One cycle has already been approved, but somehow they can't continue on which is so confusing to me. The insurance coordinator I've spoken with multiple times, claims that it's an upper management decision - I've asked to speak with upper management to discuss and get further explanation, but no one has called me to find a solution. I even had a 3-way call with the insurance coordinator and a rep from WIN Fertility where WIN verified over the phone that if an approval form was submitted by VIOS and granted, my insurance would provide fertility benefits coverage as well as medication. If your insurance company does not have a contract with this office, it is a total nightmare to work with their financial services department, even if you have out-of-network coverage, which I do. Unfortunately, this added quite a bit of stress to my experience as I have $10k of fertility benefits that are unable to be used simply because they won't submit for approval.

Ivf Michigan: what do users think?
Rebecca MacPhee: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shamma’s since 2019 at this office. Everyone has always been so helpful to my husband and I. They’ve made a very difficult and emotional IVF journey easier to go through. Dr. Shamma is excellent! He always treated us with such compassion while getting us to a successful pregnancy. Our family wouldn’t be possible without him and his team and we’re so grateful for them!
Madeline Hastings: My husband and I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Shamma and all the staff at IVF MI. Going through IVF is not easy and the staff here truly understands that. All of the nurses (especially Nicole and Brianna) were always so sweet and quick to answer any questions we had without any judgement. Dr. Shamma sincerely cares about his patients and always took the time to get to know us and address any concerns/questions we had. They treat all their patients with compassion and I will always recommend them for anyone going through the tough world of infertility.
m mothana: Had such a bad experience with this location. I have been going back and Forth for almost 2 weeks with the nurse about making an appointment. The minute I was sent an appointment, I had to call off of work and had to find coverage, drove 40 minutes away, when I got to my appointment they claimed they did not have a file for me and I tried to show them emails. They disregarded my concerns, and kept bringing up that it was a glitch in the system and they were completely booked. This process is already difficult in general, and their treatment towards the situation made it worse. Even though the fault was on their end.
Eléa Arturo: Nobody listens to the patient here. All they care about is charging you. They will order unnecessary tests and bloodwork and procedures that will cost you a fortune and unnecessary discomfort. You’ll never speak to the doctor (Shamma) directly, only his nurses.
fankap: If I could I would leave no stars. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Shamma was not good and I would not recommend going to him. He is definitely the doctor "in it for the money". I went to Dr. Shamma about a month or so ago to find out what is happening with my fertility. Dr. Shamma basically dismissed me in the whole experience. He had a resident come in and start the procedure on me without my permission.Additionally, he ultimately told me I am unable to have kids because I have stage 4 endometriosis. And when I questioned how he can diagnose this since I have been told you typically have to have surgery to determine if you have this for sure or not and his response to me was, "I'm that good". Are you kidding me?Not to mention, he asked why I have not received my covid vaccine yet and started being very pushy on this topic. He told me that my opinion doesn't matter and that I should listen to him and get the certain type of vaccine. This doctor is not someone you can trust. If you do go to him, make sure you receive a SECOND and THIRD opinion.Since this experience, I have seen another doctor and they already have told me different options/routes I can take.DO NOT TRUST Dr. Shamma. There are MANY others out there that truly care for your experience.
Sabrina Bricker: We had such an amazing experience at IVF Michigan Bloomfield office. We went into our IVF journey nervous and feeling uneducated with it being our first cycle. From the moment we started with Dr.Shamma and his staff.. our worries eased up immediately and we felt so confident through the entire process. We are now blessed with our miracle baby because of them. I highly recommend IVF Michigan!
Roxanne Frye: My husband and I went through IVF Michigan Fertility Center in Bloomfield Hills. Their staff were all amazing to work with and super compassionate. From the blood draw experience to the procedures itself, we had a great experience. Fortunately, these great experiences have led us to where we are now: 24 weeks pregnant and super excited to grow our little family.Thank you to everyone at IVF Michigan for everything you do and give to your patients. I know we all appreciate it, even on the roughest days. Which, with fertility, we have plenty of those.
Maegan: Dr. Hammoud has always been very patient and thorough explaining everything to me. He was willing to listen to my concerns and suggestions based on other accounts and incorporated that into my care. The nursing staff were prompt in responding to emails and always encouraging. Lab staff were friendly and experienced. The only hiccup was taking a very long time to get itemized receipts to submit to Carrot or get returned phone calls from the billing department, which is the only reason I gave 4/5 stars. That was mostly resolved at the end of our IVF journey, however. Still waiting on a few loose ends. Overall I would definitely recommend IVF Michigan and their team! They gave us our miracle baby and we are forever grateful!
T C: Very poor customer service and shady practices. They have you go in and fill out a bunch of forms that need to be notarized laying out what procedures you would like done. My wife and I made sure we selected only a fresh transfer on those forms as that is what we wanted. Now come time for the process (after they told her what day to start taking meds) we are being told that we can't do a fresh transfer and have to pay for freezing and thawing because they didn't order the meds for a fresh transfer. On top of that they put in an order for almost 4x the amount of meds needed and obviously we were responsible for paying for those as well. The staff seems friendly until the process starts and they ha e collected the majority of the money so you are stuck w/ them and can't just ask for a refund and go somewhere else.
Somaya E: Infertility can be stressful and scary but the team at IVF Michigan Bloomfield Hills are amazing and supportive. The whole team was very professional, caring, and helpful. I was impressed with the punctuality, my appointments were always timely and I was able to schedule with ease (which is one less stressor). Dr. Hammoud is very professional and knowledgeable about his field, but more importantly he is also caring and kind which makes this difficult experience so much better. I am more than happy with the care I received at this clinic, so much that I am actually sad about transitioning to my regular OBGYN after a successful IVF journey! A million thanks to IVF Michigan and I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a fertility specialist.
Bianca S: I called to inquire about a consultation and the woman was incredibly rude and insensitive. I will never make an appointment here.
Brittany Szunko: IVF Michigan has exceeded our expectations. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctors--everyone took so much care and time with us to make what could've been a really intimidating process, a really smooth experience. We would recommend Dr. Shamma and his staff to anyone that needs help with their fertility journey!
Natalie Butler: I don’t even know where to begin! Dr. Shamma and all the staff are absolutely amazing!! I am unable to get pregnant naturally and Dr. Shamma during our first telemed call told my husband and I, I will help you get pregnant! He didn’t lie! It was a long and scary process, I wouldn’t change a thing because I am pregnant with my first baby!! Hopefully in a few years when we come back for a hopeful second, Dr. Shamma will still be there! The only thing I wish was better was Billing!! Insurance covered ø and I bought packages for certain things and always had to call Donna to get them uncharged on my account! That was The Only problem I had! So please go to IVF Michigan you won’t be disappointed!!
Monica Williams: Extraordinary doctor that goes over and beyond to make your dreams a realty. I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable, personable and share statistical information that is accurate and reliable. Highly recommended!
Alley Girl: The front staff make it very difficult to schedule an appointment or get ahold of the nurses. They need to improve their customer service experience.Update : The manager Donna was very helpful and diligent with getting my appointment scheduled and I appreciate Lisa for reaching out in response to my review and bettering my experience.
Justin Clark: Exceptionally Disorganized, do not care about patrons
Mayasah Naser: Unfortunately i get negative !
Michelle Koczara: Our experience with the doctors and staff at the Bloomfield Hills office of IVF Michigan was nothing short of perfection. The nursing staff is not only well-educated, but they are incredibly compassionate, informative, patient, and are very clearly in your corner. Dr. Hammoud was spectacular and will always hold a special place in our hearts for sticking it out with us and giving us our miracle baby. Our case was not the easiest, by far, and Dr. Hammoud’s compassion, attention to detail, expertise, honesty, and positive reinforcement helped our IVF experience to be one of success, and he will always be considered part of our family! We are completely indebted to him for giving us our precious, little miracle!
Bradley Schmidt: Clerical staff and office workers are disorganized and don't seem to care. My wife was given other patient's test results, not to mention multiple insurance mix ups and long wait times.Dr Hammoud was very nice and compassionate but their end game here is to push IVF. Maybe stupid on our part to go to a IVF specific fertility clinic, knowing that we would never do IVF. Unfortunately, we feel like we were pushed aside because of it
Brittani Paquin: My husband and I can’t thank Dr. Shamma and the nurse staff at IVF MI enough. We could never repay them for the great care we received, the countless questions answered, treating us as more than just a number, and of course giving us the best gift of all- our son! We were very lucky to have won the Mojo Gives You A Baby contest, but the real luck was having Dr. Shamma as our RE. He was incredible, kind, and always so supportive. We are so blessed and we look forward to working with them again for our next babies.
Esthetics_By_Juliet: I hate doing this, but I’m disappointed. My RE Hammoud was honest and informative when I initially spoke to him. I’m very new to this. Being my first IVF I would think I had more info from the nurses at the clinic. I’ve never injected myself, neither has my husband. They told me we would take a zoom class (due to COVID it was being done thru zoom) and it was 2 1/2 hours and would go over every medication and how to inject. Okay, so I was waiting.... then I get my period and they tell em I need to start my injections the next night! But, I do NOT know what to do. That night I injected 2 different meds, one was a pen and the other was a 2 part. Okay I thought I did it, until day 2 I realized I never injected the actual medicine from the pen because I was supposed to hold it down until the number thing went to 0!!!!! And not only that, I realized there was a different needle I needed for the other 2 part medication, and I had injected myself with the mixing needle ( you don’t want to know what that needle looked like or felt like)Then my husband has to give me the PIO intramuscular and he was freaking out because he was never trained or taught. So are we doing this right?Did my failed IVF not work because I messed up on the medication a few times and all they kept telling me was, it’s ok it’s easy. It’s easy for you, you are a nurse. It’s not easy. It wasn’t easy for my husband. You pay so much for the medication and don’t get trained on it. Shame. I wish I could of backed out the day I realized I never injected myself, but they already took my money. One of my clients l, who went to a different fertility clinic, was confused as to why I never took the class even it being on zoom like they said my husband and I would do. My client said she took a in person class pre COVID and It was at least 2 hours. She taught me about the pen and to hold it until the dial turns to 0. I mean really! Another person had to tell me this?Very unprofessional, not considerate of their patients time and money invested in all of this.I had to google and ask people who went elsewhere for info. How embarrassing for IVF Michigan
