S Miller: As a first time visitor, I was happy to find that this little shop that has specialty quilting fabric lines like Moda, Hoffman and Freespirit. The  customer service was exceptional.  Karen inquired about my project and made suggestions. Besides cotton quilting fabric, they had quilt patterns and nice knit fabrics for attire. I am definitely inspired to make a return visit.

Amanda Smith: My almost 10 year old daughter took a sewing class here and really loved it. The price for the amount of time and activities you get to do is more than fair and the teacher never made her feel at all rushed or stupid which is something I worried about a little - my other daughter had previously taken a crocheting class at a Joann's and despite being the only person who showed up to the class it was a disaster that put her off even trying anything similar. Sometimes these environments can feel very unwelcoming and insular but this store and the ladies who run it seem very kind and welcoming. The store itself is very good sized and I hope they eventually offer more classes for kids.

Her indoor shop is really cute and even has a dressing room and proudly displayed pieces that she has made. Her repair on my coat has it looking and fitting like it's brand new. She had my project done the following day whereas many shops I called were a two week estimate just to get two seams repaired. Her affordability and speed in no way reflect her work, like I said, her work is impeccable!

Lashonda McCollum: I went to see a different seamstress last week in search of someone to sew Velcro onto the back of 4 patches for my husband for him to be able to attach to his work uniform. This first seamstress told me that sewing velcro onto these patches would look “bad” and it would take several weeks for her to do because she is busy. She suggested instead he should just sew the patches to his shirts (which is not what my husband wanted). I called Katie after I left this business and she immediately said, “come on over, I could have done this for you in the time we have been chatting on the phone!” Katie was very professional, kind, and her quickness and willingness to go above and beyond was greatly appreciated! The patches were exactly as my husband wanted them. I highly recommend Katie for any of your sewing needs!
