This will require us to hire another contractor to fix his job and now pay more than was originally quoted to another contractor. Sardelli is now in breach of contract that he signed. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND UNREASONABLE. The unit didn’t work, so he had the warranty company come look. They concluded the gas line was not providing enough pressure, and Sardelli claims now he said this would happen.So you would install a heater you knew to be an issue, have the warranty company come out and waste time to confirm it, and then tell the customer it’s their problem to solve ?The fact Sardelli didn’t assess the situation and provide a recommendation in advance is a big fail. Actually said “no one on earth tests the gasline before installing” - really?All of this, coupled with the warranty company telling me this is his pattern and they were not fans - I so regret the decision to work with Sardelli.Worst of all, he keeps butt dialing me, so I get some false hope he’s come to realize he’s done this one wrong, but nope…just another sign I chose poorly

Anthony Regan: Got a pool Inspection when I bought my house and he did not test ANYTHING on the pool. Sardelli said an inspection is $375, and didn’t say how lacking/non-thorough the inspection would be. Only spent about 30-40mins with me. He just gave some comments about what he thought about the pool without taking the cover off (this looks good / this looks bad, etc.). He did not care about what my goal was w having him out. I can easily say this was a money grab and a waste of money..Would not recommend

Radu Timbuc: We had our pool installed by Sardelli in the fall of 2019, with last year being the first year that we had it open. We had a great experience with Mike and his team. Mike is very knowledgeable and this can come across as condescending at times, but I can tell you that he means well and wants the best for his clients. Do not be turned away by the other reviews if you want a high quality pool with the best Pentair equipment. All of my friends that have pools are jealous of the efficiency and ease of use of the new equipment. I’m sure it will be tough to get on the schedule for a new pool build, but it is worth the wait. We buy all of our supplies from Sardelli too, and we are very satisfied with the quality and selection.

But Bob at the office know nothing about customer service.He threatened not to service my hot tub, until I paid $95 for service call for a leak that we call about during the warrant period. And sent him video of the leak.Don't worry Bob, we won't call you by again. 8k for hot tub, and you're worried about $95.Interesting hot tub go somewhere else.Just getting started

One example is I bought a sand filter off them and it had a manufacturer defect came in and talked to talk to them about it they took some info and my address and phone number one week later I received a brand new sand filter in the mail covered under warranty. All I can say WOW. I purchased this Hot Tub back in August 2020 and when they told me it would be delivered on the date in November, I’m not going to lie I was very skeptical and I was thinking to myself there is no way since everything was delayed and out of the norm. Once that date came Scott came out personally with Brandon and dropped it off. All I can say about this OUTSTANDING Family owned business is……..Keep up the great service and thanks again for making this experience go very smoothly. I HIGHLY recommend Viscount pools and I will do my best to send them as much referrals that I possible can. Thanks again Scott for the great experience.

I have gone to the Madison Heights location a few times for support and left feeling like I was talked down to or my issues weren't worthy of their time. More often than not, you will find the staff sitting around the counter talking. I have also called with questions and trying to get any worthwhile answers is like pulling teeth. We will no longer be giving Viscount any of our business and will advise anyone we possibly can against going to the Madison Heights location. Strong start...very, very weak finish.
Kim Vanatta: Worst pool store ever! I bought a pool and everything to go with it at the start of covid. When they installed it I noticed it was not the pool I ordered, in fact I didn’t get anything I ordered it was all different, the filter, the pool everything. Bob basically told us too bad. After it was installed we noticed the liner had a tear in it. Bob told us he would order a new liner and have it installed free of charge. Well here we are going on our third summer and still have never received the liner. Don’t walk away from this store, run! I have called Bob several times about the liner and all he says is their not making them. I think Bob is just a con artist and I would never recommend viscount to anyone

I’m so glad I bought through Viscount verses Amazon or an online pool seller. Their service is excellent and I can’t recommend them enough!

Aerial Doucet: So I have a new update with troublesome my past experience with viscount pools. After hard work and several pool men later, waiting several weeks, with a special heating machine, we were finally able to fit their pool liner onto the pool, Thank God. My father actually went back (the long standing customer) in there to buy additional parts after his last rough experience (since we were FINALLY able to fit their pool liner onto the pool) and according to him, they were surprisedly very helpful. They got him everything he needed, although they wanted to bring up about the tasteful negative review I, his daughter, left for them, It did not hinder him from the decent experience he had compared to the last time. So for that I will give them more stars. Its not about making a mistake in your service, mistakes happen all the time (it's apart of life and we all have done it), its about owning up to it and fixing them as a collective, as a company. All we wanted was to be treated like we mattered. In essence, they messed up BUT they did fix the problem by providing better customer service towards the end. Viscount pools, in the future when a customer has a problem; hear them out, care about what they have to say, own up to a mistake and find a proper solution to fix it. Customer service is about always improving ones experience with your brand. So thank you for treating my father (who's a veteran) well on his last trip there. That's big of you to be able to take criticism and still provide decent service. By the way I am flight attendant, so I know good service when I see it.

A couple of weeks ago we had a. Problem with our chlorinator as well as our jets in the pool. We thought we were going to have two call out someone to fix it. I went in the store for a water check and was telling Maddie and Dillon W. about our issue not only did they help explain thing to me in the store, I was still having difficulties so I called and they both walked me through it. rj magiera: I was shopping for a 12x24 oval pool in May of 2020 with very little luck. I contacted Pools and Spas a Go GO in Utica and spoke with the owner Steve. He consulted me about the versatility of going with a round pool instead of an oval. Luckily, he had one 21' Sharkline pool available.... kinda. With all the Covid shutdowns it took a few weeks to completely get the order full, but throughout the whole ordeal, Steve and his staff were not only very accommodating, but also professional. We installed in late June and of course there were small hic-cups to overcome but again, Steve and his staff were always available to assist. I highly recommend PSGG and look forward to doing business with them for years to come!

We got home and had the pool back up and running in no time where other shops would have taken several days. Entire staff is friendly and always look forward to their spring pool opening savings.
christina doran: I was having major issues with poor water flow and we thought we needed a new pump. I spoke with Steve from the Shelby location and he was a massive help. I was prepared to replace all the old equipment I have just so I could be certain that we would be able to use the pool all season. Steve was able to help me troubleshoot the problem and save me $2k in unnecessary equipment and repairs. He was patient, kind, extremely knowledgeable and followed up. Very pleased with the service I get whenever I go into the store!!
David Joseph: Covid shopping: demand is high and supply is low! Sales was great explaining and pricing options. Radiant appears to be great on paper but the cost ($20k) and install ($8-10k) became quickly unrealistic. Ended up going with a Doughboy which has all the features we wanted (partial bury) and affordable price point.

They said I could either order it and wait 2 weeks or drive 30 minutes to pick it up from a different location. I chose to pick it up because I thought it would be worth the hour round trip. They called the other location to confirm they had one in stock. I drive 30 minutes only to find out the other location didn’t fully check and only have 1 part of the item. I called the first location and they said they couldn’t do anything. I left the store empty handed. Spent another 45 minutes driving home in traffic. Horrible customer service and staffing. Turned a 10 minute trip to the store into an hour and 45 minute nightmare. Will never consider shopping here again, not to mention overpriced items.
David Ladge: I went in to buy some pool supplies and one of the sales associates sold me a cartridge and told me to drop it in the pool. I asked if there was anyway else I needed and he said no. The cartridge bleached my liner. I realized that I was missing the actual top piece after reading the packaging. I went back and they placed a special order for it. I called the store to follow up and they couldn’t help because the corporate office wasn’t open yet. The manager was absolutely RUDE and basically told me it was my fault because I didnt read the packaging. My bad for trusting what they told me !! The managers customer service skills leave a lot to be desired. Very unprofessional and doesn’t know how to talk to people. Will never set foot in there again Much better options available elsewhere and they treat their customers right.

Rick Wochoski: Just wanted to take a moment to give the folks at the Troy Leslie's a big thumbs up. We've had our in-ground pool for 20 years and throughout that time the staff has been able to guide us through all the trials and tribulations, from black mold to balky bottom-cleaners to the magical science of balancing the chemicals. And they've always gone above and beyond with their customer service. I don't think it's fair to judge a pool supply company by the conditions in your pool, as some reviewers do, because they don't have control over how chemicals are added or the pool is cared for. Only you can do that. So, based on their job, which is to supply chemicals and the best advice they can give, I'm giving them 5 stars. Thanks for all the help!

My wife picked upup salt for my pools salt water system from them and forgot to ask how much we needed for our size pool, I called them on the phone to inquire and the person on the phone first you could tell did not want to be bothered I tried to explain it's a new pool that's bigger than our last and that's where we were (not anymore) buying our chemicals he finally said 1 and 3/4 to start and will probably need all of the second so I did as he said and with only the 1 3/4 bag in my salt level is so high it won't even read so now I have to wastw my time and money (water) to empty some out and try to get it right. If you don't want to help just say so instead of pretending and costing me time and money and kids driving me crazy to go in. So needless to say I am no longer a customer.

With a deep sigh of annoyance asked "do you need help!!" as I'm wandering around the store, never acknowledged. I asked for the heaters. She goes "we don't have above ground haters!!" I never said that's what I was looking for so I replied, I didn't want above ground. "Oh well, their expensive!" As if I wasn't aware or couldn't afford it? 🤷 Her demeanor was nasty and so was her energy. No thanks. I'll pass on coming back. Pool Time is never nasty. I was well aware the cost was between $2500-$3500. If you don't wanna work in customer service. Don't.

As others have mentioned, the staff can be quite rude and condescending, but they are close to my home and frankly, I just want to pick up my products and go so I don't let it bother me much.This time though... this time I went in with a water sample because my pool was green. The 2 seasoned employees blew me off completely and sent me over to the very young man that is new there. He told me that my pool sample was fine, nothing wrong with the water. I showed him a picture of my dark green pool. He proceeded to sell me a $30 bottle of clarifier that did not work. What a waste of my time and money!! I will be going elsewhere from now on.

He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in many areas and even came to out to help us the next day, which we really needed since we are new home owners with a pool and have Zero experience with. Thank you Rudy to the rescue! Everyone at viscount is helpful and nice. I highly recommend Rudy as he took the time to explain everything to us to better understand things when it comes to taking care of our pool. (Definitely 5 + stars !)
