Bibliophile Lady: The tax preparer that my husband and I have used for nearly a decade left the company and we had to try someone new. When we got to the location, it seemed pretty obvious that this person was NEW new. She was a bit script-y and awkward and had never heard of an independent contractor hiring a sub-contractor, but at the beginning it was kind of endearing. We are usually patient and helpful people; they type that are easy to practice on. Things went downhill fast though. One document we had was the bottom page of one of those old-fashioned four-layer carbon paper type forms. The writing was understandably light, but it was tidy and legibly written. The top three layers of this form have already been turned in and accepted by the government in my husband's employee's taxes. The tax preparer goes into a tailspin. I can't read this. I can't read this. She must have repeated it over a dozen times. I offered to read it for her. We offered to darken the numbers for her. I asked if she had access to a clean form so we could make a fresh copy she could see. She was not interested in solutions apparently, just repeated "I can't read this." I felt like I was trying to help HER do her job, when she was supposed to be helping us. We left and drove across town to our old HR Block. The woman there accepted everything without comment. All of that stress for nothing. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have a very simple tax situation and a heavy handed penmanship.

Suzie B: If I could give no stars I would, only giving one as will not allow to review without. My husband and I tried using their services back in 2017 and still do not have resolution. No return calls, no follow up, absolutely horrible customer service. We have even requested the over $2000 we gave thus far, as nothing has been done with our account. The next step is small claims. If you are considering using them, let this be a warning, DON'T USE THEM, they will steal your money.
