Shannon was extremely kind when I called a few minutes later to change a few details about my order. The store was out of helium and the workers were dealing with frustrated customers and they all maintained professionalism and never got flustered or frustrated with rude customers. I was extremely impressed with everyone in the store tonight. They are doing a great job.

The only thing they could improve on based on our most recent shopping experience, is to have bags to hold candy from the bulk section at the front of the store. Our kids picked out a bunch of candy, but there was no where to put them, so I grabbed a random hat to store them in until we got to check out. Otherwise, it’s awesome; clean and well-organized.

No one ever ended up bringing our order out. Went in and told they didn’t receive our notification. Then we were given the incorrect order, they came out and told us as we were putting the balloons in the car. Next time I will spend the extra time driving to Celebration Station in Livonia.

I found a different costume so I called that same day to cancel my order (stated on their website that to cancel my order i had to call call the store, which I did). There were two ladies I talked to for 5 + minutes. They assured me they canceled my order and I would be refunded my money. I still haven’t received my money back. The website also says if you don’t pick up your order it will be automatically canceled and refunded… so even in they did forget to cancel it, wouldn’t it have been refunded automatically as I never went to pick it up? Jennifer Parks: I love Party City, but let me tell you...I drove there tonight and hit the biggest pothole ever! You cannot see it at all and my car took a serious hit from it. If you are going to party city please watch where you drive! I made sure I took photos right after I hit it! I asked the lady inside who is responsible for the parking lot and it's upkeep. She said the person who owns the strip mall, not sure who that is, but somebody needs to fill this hole IMMEDIATELY!...or put something warning people that it is there! My car I'm sure, has suffered some kind of damage. My steering wheel felt loose after hitting it and smashing the bottom of my car. I am hoping I do not wake up with my tires flat! In situations like this, someone should be responsible for your repairs or paying for your vehicle to be checked. Wasn't sure where else to put this, so no one else has the same issue other than the party city reviews. After all it is directly in front of their store.

Teresa Moodie: The only reason they are getting three stars instead of one or two is because the women who waited on me was wonderful short African American women I think her initial was an I it was a different kind of name she had grey hair anyway she needs a raise this places prices are ridiculous and unfortunately it’s like the only place to get party supply’s so they have the advantage to over charge for example can anyone tell me why I can buy a balloon from them filled up for ten bucks but if I bring my own balloons I still have to pay ten bucks does that seem right I literally bought a bunch of decorations for my sons grad party at several different places when it was time to get the balloons filled up I went to party city cause again where else can I go it was going to cost almost two hundred dollars to fill the balloons just to fill them and they would only last four to six hours and trust me it was not a lot of balloons they wanted ten dollars for one foiled balloon like really am I the only person that thinks that’s crazy and definitely taking advantage of the situation of being the only party supplie place around needless to say my sons party had no balloons cause I could not see paying that for balloons that I already had bought elsewhere

So I just gave her a whatever look. She the proceeds to walk around the corner and tells customers " chop chop." Shame on you! I will never come to this location. Lisa Dragan: Honestly, this is the worst party city to visit. Out of 4 visits, Every Single Time there's an issue with getting balloons. Unfortunately it is the only party city close to me which is why I have returned plus I try to give additional chances to the store knowing turnover and retail. However after today, it will definitely be the last visit to this location.1st visit: 1 line 2 cashiers. I waited in line got to front and because my purchase was including balloons I was told the other cashier had to ring me up. They made me wait back in line to see the other cashier. When I got there she asked if I already paid, I said no, I was told she had to ring me up because I was also getting balloons. She said I had to pay at the other cashier I was just with 10 minutes prior and then she could make the balloons. I asked if I had to wait back in line again and was told yes. I asked for a manager and they apologized and again said I had to wait back in line because they were busy and it wouldn't be fair to the other customers. Frustrated I would have to wait in line a 3rd and possible 4th time, I left and drove over an hour to my old store in Livonia who took care of me with no issues.2nd visit: I went to purchase 5 balloons. No line issue but was told they only accept orders ahead made online or instore. So again no balloon purchase at this location because they requested 24 hour notice and party was that day.3rd visit: Went in store to place balloon order 48hrs ahead of party. This was January 2023. I was told they couldn't take my order because they were running low on helium and were only filling orders that were placed online days prior. I told them last time I was told only 24 hour notice and could place in store or online. They said that I didn't have to place ahead, but unfortunately, it was just the current issue of low helium. I accepted and said I understood and went to Meijer.4th visit. Today. Went to purchase 1 balloon. 1 Balloon! Was told I would have to wait over an hour for 1 Balloon. There were 3 employees. They were filling the other customers balloons ahead of me in line. But right when I got to the register the manager told his employees to put wait times on balloon fills. Are You Kidding Me?!? You filled all 4 customers ahead of me who had multiple balloons but my 1 balloon is now a minimum 1 hour wait? This place needs work. Thank you for showing me that multiple chances over 3 years will not make this store any better to shop at as a customer.

He went above & beyond to make sure I got everything I came for, and he really exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely make the drive to this location again in the future (even though there’s a different Party City that’s way closer to my house). Overall, this store provides great customer service and it’s fully stocked.

Tr Elmore: Store wasnt restocked following halloween, but I guess it can be expected except for the fact when we went to a different location they were fully stocked. One staff member waved us in the general direction of what we were looking for while a different staff member actually took the time to help us look. Probably would've been 4 stars if we had met the second staff member first.

Absolutely horrendous and I will never come to this place again

Don Admin: Horrible management, lack of care for customer service. Waited in line for 15min while witnessing 5 employees scramble to help one customers delivery order. Which forced a 10 person lineup, when asked if I could leave cash over the amount of product and tax I was threatened with the act of stealing from the manager.
