Maynard Rasputin: Michtoy has an excellent selection of paints and supplies which is a shame because I will not order from them again. On my first order it took a week to get a few bottles of paint...I live 3 states away. It was no help that the order didn't even ship until three days after I submitted it. When I received my package one of the colors was even the wrong one. So I try again this week, I didn't want to judge on that one experience....maybe they had a bad day. This time I order the some other paints, all of which showed in stock when I placed the order. Two days later I get an email saying one of the colors I ordered was out of stock. It asks what you want them to do ....wait another week for it to come in so they can ship it or what I assumed was to split the order and ship the other when it comes in. I opted for what I thought was to split, I've already been waiting over a week. Two days later I still have no shipping confirmation so I guess I'm waiting. The website is not very good. Even after registering it hasn't shown either of my orders in the order history. Good luck if you have a promo code, if you enter one it doesn't confirm it was recieved or valid....or even applied. I added a code when checking out and it somehow removed an item out of my cart...hence my second order this week. I'm sure its a great company and I'll say again they have a very complete selection to offer. My experience just hasn't been very good with them.

Komet Fan: Finally made the 3+ hour drive out to visit this shop............AND IT WAS WORTH IT!! Great little shop packed to the gills with cool stuff! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Friend who went with me said it's probably best we don't live closer.......we'd go broke! The paint selection alone is worth the drive. A++++++!!

Patton WasRight: Rude, rude customer service who will lie to you like it's breathing. They say they are cheaper than other people because of their sales but are much costlier than other online store's REGULAR price. I've called and they say it's adjusted after purchase but never is. Looking at their responses to other negative reviews cements their deceit even further.

Robin Peoples: I had a bad experience with the manager during my visit. Instead of assisting me with my issue, she was very rude and threatened to call the authorities when I asked if there was anyone else who could help us figure out the best way to issue me a store credit. I don’t think my request was unheard of but felt that her reaction and comments to me were racially motivated. She also admitted that I was speaking to her very nicely but it did not matter to her. I don’t think I deserved this treatment as a customer. I have submitted a complaint to the corporate office and hope to hear back.

It's hard at times to come up with that quarter and by the time you purchase the things you want and need. some of the things you have to put back because you ran out of money.
