Khal: Closed on Sunday for amtrak trains. Signs of no public restrooms. It's sure a great spot to travel in and out of. Lucky today's weather is decent but not very nice experience Royal Oak. This is not how you welcome people from out of town traveling through.

We took the train at 6 am. We are supposed to arrive at 10 and a half in the morning. It has become 10 and a half pm. We have not arrived yet. We do not know when we will arrive. It is very cold.
Melissa Behring: I can walk to Chicago from Royal Oak by hopping on the Amtrak. I love the train. Wish ROY was more than just a small shack on the side of the tracks… there’s not enough room for more than 5 people to stay dry when it rains (like it did this morning.)

Bluemax20: The Amtrak stop in Royal Oak is nothing but a track side shelter along the tracks.The Smart bus transit center is across the parking lot and riders are welcome to wait there indoors during hours of operation.Parking is $5 per day Sundays and holidays are free.For those who are visiting Royal Oak or utilizing the Smart bus this is a good connection point.However,if you want a better station head north 3 miles to Coolidge and 14 mile in the shopping center by Krogers.The new Troy station is enclosed plenty of free parking and it sits within the shopping complex behind the Kroger's.Fir those in Oakland or Macomb county this is the station you want to use
Sanaa Rami: The worse station you can be in especially in this freaking cold Wendy weather.definitely I won’t use it again .go back to Dearborn one high maintenance

Jay Smith: This is one of the worst places to wait for a train, it gets so cold. Just wait in your car or go to the station in Detroit or Dearborn.
kyle ollila: Do not come here to wait to get on a train, freezing cold, come here to wait for one to arrive, if you are on a car for warmth, and light at night.
Megan Street: It is an unmanned station. Parking is paid in advance to the treasures office that is only during regular business hours. The train is almost always 15 minutes late.
Noah Tomczak: Even though there is no Amtrak station building to wait in, it is still a decent place to wait for the Amtrak Wolverine. Plus a great place to watch trains.
Dawn Spinner: 28 degrees. No lights or heat on in the outside waiting area. This is the only place you can wait for the train in the morning, as the station is closed. Turn on the heat!!!! Fix the lights and heat.
Doug Collins: There are no indoor facilities so you will be very cold waiting in the winter months. Royal Oak police are nasty with their parking tickets.
