Mary Kerre: I hired Branch to do an injection in the spring on my Elm tree (it had a bug issue the year prior). Well we had ice storms and the tree was damaged. It is situated on my property line and my neighbors were gung ho to just take the tree out (despite agreeing previously to an injection to try to save the tree). I called Branch and explained my situation and they told me it was no problem and refunded me the amount I prepaid for the injection. Great customer service and they will be the company I call in the future.

The team was so quick, courteous and clean you'd never know they were there if it weren't for how fantastic my back yard looks.I'm very satisfied with their work and strongly recommend them to anyone needing tree service.
Sam Rood: I had concerns about a tree in my yard that was shedding some pretty big limbs. I wanted to get someone out to take a look, but I also wanted to do everything I could to save the tree, as it's very large and beautiful. I called Branch, and they sent an ISA-certified arborist - not just someone who was going to tell me how much it would cost to chop it down. The arborist who came out told me that it was normal for that species of tree to shed branches, but that, because of its age, it could do with some pruning. He also took a look at the other trees in my yard and told me a couple had issues with pests. Long story short, they pruned the big tree (something I definitely couldn't do myself, because the lowest branches are about 25 feet up), treated the others that had pest issues, and did so in a timely, professional, and affordable way.I especially appreciate this due to the big winter storms we've had recently - while the rest of my block looks like a tornado rolled through, my yard is comparatively neat and tidy.Great company. Highly recommended.
George Lee: The crew from Branch Tree Service did an amazing job taking down a very large and hazardous tree as well as trimming several other large trees in my back yard. They use plywood planking to protect my lawn, did not use spikes to climb and injure my trees and did a great clean up. My neighbors went with another company and they tore up there lawn, climbed their pine trees with spikes and left the yard a mess. Sure glad the team from Branch Tree service performed high level valued services and not just a cheap price. stacy johnson: Horrible customer service! Appt made for inspection . Time frame 7:00-7:30. 8 a.m rolls around no show. Call the office. Ellen tells me ,Jennifer had problems in the morning . And will be out sometime today .but will call before . So I'm supposed to sit around all day ? Ellen transfers me to a gentleman. He apologies and says he will have Jennifer call me right away. She calls me 10 mins later. Says she can give me an approximate time ,but it depends on how her day goes . Really ??? You were supposed to be here between 7-730 . She says she didn't know it was an exact time for appt. really ??? You made the appt . Not me! They do not care about customers . She gave me the impression I was putting her out. I will go elsewhere . Where my money and business is appreciated. Just spoke to a neighbor that uses them. She stated that the service has gone down In the last year or so. Word of mouth is a powerful tool. Added as of 7/12/22. Hired Branch to spray Lindens for aphids. Was supposed to be done in June. I called on July 1st . Lady on the phone says the arborist will contact me. Meanwhile leaves are falling off my Lindens. A week goes by. Nothing . I send an email asking to speak with a manager. I get a voicemail the next day. Jeromy says he’s on his way to spray the Lindens . No apology, nothing! I get an email on Saturday stating he couldn’t do the application due to my neighbors car being in the way. Says he will be out Tuesday. Again, no apology. Joke of a company. Stay clear

Tig Thompson: We were given a quote to remove a large tree. A few months later I called to see if it was still good and to schedule the service. I gave branch $1100, verified the quote, and was told they would get back with me. After 5 weeks, and many phone calls on my part, Jeromy called.To have the tree removed I was going to have to pay 20% more than the quote. Jeromy said it’s because the “cost of everything has gone up”. I explained that he should have let me know that five weeks ago when I gave him the down payment and he sent me a contract.It felt like a bait and switch, that’s no way to do business.
David Morrison: Working with Brad and the Branch Tree & Landscape Services team was excellent. They had the lowest price out of three quotes I received from other vendors, yet their quality was excellent. They removed a ~90 year old tree from my backyard in less than a day, including stump removal. The backyard was treated with respect - they laid down plywood to minimize tire tracks, and they cleaned up debris to return yard back to normal. They worked with me to understand if I wanted to keep any of the wood, or if they should remove all of it (no added cost).I would recommend them to anyone, and would use them again!The only downside is they only schedule jobs 1-2 weeks in advance, plus they have been very busy this season. Jim: Very disappointed. Had an appointment scheduled for a week to have an estimate done. Appointment day came no call. I called them, and they forgot and didn't remember who I was. They were supposed to still come out, so I waited around all day just to get a call to see if they could reschedule for another day. I agreed to them coming out next day around 11am. Waited around with no call, and called them at 1pm only to find out the person was doing other things and they couldn't tell me when they would be out. It seems like they don't want the business. They are very disorganized and I suggest looking elsewhere.

Mrs. Diaz: Wouldn't show up for estimate. I called Friday, had set up estimate for Saturday around noon. 3:30pm Saturday I called again making sure that they were going to come, they said that Jenny was going to be here. I asked for an time when she should arrive but they told me anytime before closing. It's now Sunday, no call, no show! I lost an entire day waiting for nothing!!! Way to do business!!

As someone with special needs family members, I really didn’t appreciate them talking badly about people on the Autism Spectrum and Special Needs People. Workers even brought their significant (who were clearly drunk) others to the site which is unnecessary.

Christine McGregor: We called for an estimate, they scheduled and said they'd be out the following Monday at 5pm. Monday comes, and no call no show, so we call at 5:20 to leave a message asking if they were just running behind or what. We didn't recieve a phone all back till the following mid morning and when they called back, it's as if they didn't even listen to the voicemail, as they asked what it was we needed. We informed them they were a no call no show and they apologized and said someone would be out Wednesday at 6pm. Well... Wednesday 6pm comes and they were a no call no show again. Absolutely unprofessional the way they handle their business and apparently no call no shows are a big thing after reading all the other reviews.

Eric D: The price was great! However the service was lacking. I had a large tree trimmed in my backyard and 2 trees removed and the stumps ground down.The large tree in the back still has several dead branches that were not removed after they were done.The clean up was ok at best. I had purchased Gatorade for the crew and ended up picking up the empty bottles, as well as tons of branches etc.They also removed a cable line from the house to allow for better trimming. I even asked about it and they said they would reattach it when done. After they left, I saw it on the ground in the driveway. I text the owner about it and she said she'd ask about it. No response. I sent another text the following day with a picture asking for someone to reattach it. No response. A few days later I called the owner, who at first didn't remember my house, but then said it was an extra cable line and wasn't needed. So it is still sitting in the driveway because I have no way of getting up to the cable box on the phone pole. Before she got off the phone, she asked me to write a Google review. Seriously???The owner also likes to add extra services as they go, to increase the price. She did get permission to do the services prior to doing them, but be ready for them.

Lindsay Winn: I've used Shock brothers a few times and was satisfied with their work. Most recently in the last three months I spoke with one person and left two voicemails with no return calls or communication. I understand it's a busy season, even said that to the pleasant person I spoke with when I first called. Poor communication in this industry is shocking! Had to move on with another company. If you can get a hold of them, and actually get on their schedule I would recommend. I would challenge them to have better communication all around, even if it's to say... "Hey, we are super busy, we'd love to get you on the schedule, we are this far out and understand if you're not willing to wait.". If the client is willing to wait (like I was in the beginning) actually get back to them, even if the climate changed and you had to push them (me) further out in the schedule. I also get that I am probably a drop in a pool of money around town *shrug.

Vito Catalfio: Shock brothers seem to be the most knowledgeable, professional, well-equipped tree company in the area. They do really great work and they stand by it. The best part is the value. You will struggle to find a better cost from another tree company - I got 4 other quotes from other reputable tree companies. Only one was cheaper and they couldn't do everything I wanted and I had to wait 2 months for them to come out. Shock brothers was out in just a couple weeks and took out several small trees, bushes, a few stumps, and one very very large tree in just 2-3 days. These guys work fast, are always professional and very reasonable. If you need tree care, go with shock brothers.

R S: Not overly thrilled with their service. Neighbors used them to trim back trees that were hitting our house and garage. I wasn't at the house but my fiancé was. The trimming of the trees looks fine however there were issues. One, they knocked the cable wire off the pole. Then proceeded to tell my fiancé how it actually was the cable company's fault because the wire was duct taped to the pole! When the cable company came out the next day to fix what they had done of course the wire wasn't duct taped. I don't appreciate their lack of taking responsibility and giving my fiancé a hard time. Second, they left my driveway full of small broken branches - didn't clean up very well. And finally they hit my fence with a piece of their equipment. Fortunately I was able to realign what they had done.

I chose Avon Tree Service because I felt most comfortable with them (versus other tree removal companies that I contacted). This was because Paul was very responsive with coming out to look at the tree limb to provide a quote and took the time to explain to me exactly how he planned to remove the tree limb. This was important to me because I had concerns about any further damage to my home or garage being caused during the removal process (small backyard). Paul took great care with removing the tree limb and do so without there being any damage to anything. He was also on time, his pricing was very reasonable, and he worked quickly and safely. Anastasia Nipirakis: Paul gave me a quote super fast, within 24-hours. The cost was extremely reasonable, and was a hundred dollars cheaper than another company I received a quote from. He scheduled the removal for a few days after that; it was so quick! Avon removed the three tall arborvitaes I had by the side of my house without me needing to leave work and exactly when they said they would. I would highly recommend this company. They are fast, reliable and reasonably priced!
