Elizabeth Zaborowski: It’s unfortunate that I have to give this place 1 star; I’d give 0 if I could. It was the perfect location for a short trip to pick-up/drop of chair rentals for a small bridal shower in the area. When I called for a quote, they were scattered; didn’t really ask the typical questions. “Uh, how many chairs? Yeah those are $XX.” Okay, do you want my date so you can tell me if they’re available? Can I have a real quote sent to me? I was told to call back in an hour so they could verify inventory; no answer all that day. I called 2 days later, they said the guy w/ inventory updates had a doctors appointment, took my number and told me they’d call me with an update between 10-11am. NO CALL. Unprofessional at best.

Leslie McAllister: Just spoke to Jennifer (possibly a manager?) about a mishap about an over charge and getting sent the wrong equipment. Jennifer had an attitude from the beginning. She promised to send me the invoice saying I was recieving a refund for an unknown extra charge of $400. She told me she didnt know when the refund was, or if it were actually issued. When i mentioned being sent the wrong equipment as well she offered no apology or understanding. She asked why I'm calling a few days later instead of right away and when I explained that we didn't have time to wait for new equipment because the job has to get done and we were able to use it a little. she was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I asked to speak to someone else because obviously my complaints were falling on deaf ears and she hung up on me and never sent said invoice about the extra charge. I'm a pretty reasonable person. I wasn't looking for a full refund or anything. An apology and maybe a slight discount for the problems. Don't recommend talking to her at all

Claimed that walking across the lawn was too far to take them. Note that they had dollies in the truck and I offered use of mine too.Very disappointing work ethic.

Kevin Dolin: I have used these guys for many years and their quality seems like it is really beginning to slip. The condition of their tables and chairs are now absolutely terrible. Most of them are falling apart and broken.When I went to pick up tables for my sons birthday I had to pay a $50 deposit that was supposed to be fully refunded when we returned the tables. After returning the tables (much cleaner then when we received them) they had it in the computer that we only payed a $20 deposit and would only give that amount back. After explaining it multiple times that I payed the $50 deposit they finally realized their mistake and gave me the full $50 back.I think it may be time to find a new place to rent party supplies from. I hope these guys get their stuff together because they used to be a great company with competitive pricing. Now they just seem like they could care less.

I called them 2 weeks ago about getting an ice sculpture for my daughter's wedding. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. Email pictures of what I want and they will send me a quote. I sent the email within a few minutes. Waited several days and never heard back, so I followed up with another email. Waited 4 more days with no reply, so I called again on Friday. She apologized, saying the person who does ice sculptures was on vacation, but they would get back to me on Monday. It's now 2 days before her wedding and I'm still waiting...

Tonya: The owner is very rude and disrespectful. I was told it was my fault that they rented me a poor quality product. I called requested can light I was told no problem. However when I set them up at my event they were all different colors and some of the geols were completely burn through. I was told that it was my fault do to me ordering them last minute. I would have rather been told they couldn't accommodate me. My event was in Ohio I call the office to leave a message on Saturday to inform them of the issue. The owner was rude and spoke to me very disrespectfully. I may not be your million dollars customer. However I am a customer just the same. I have used Hotz in the past. Im sure I won't return.

Kim Stricker: Terrible! I ordered all of the linens, tables, glasses, flatware and chafing dishes through Hotz. They showed up to the reception an hour late with many of the items missing. I called the event coordinator to find out why and was greeted with an unprofessional, condescending attitude. I've coordinated many events and never ran into this type of customer disrespect. Being late and showing up with many missing items is UNACCEPTABLE!Apparently this isn't their first offense. Other cater friends warned me of their professionalism as well. There are many options to choose from when planning a wedding or event...... this should be one to steer clear of!Happy Planning!

Amy Constant: We chose HOTZ for our Wedding Ceremony because of their location and price.Due to lack of space and time (and my mental sanity) - I will just list what they did and did not do:-showed up 1 hour late-did not bring a dolly or chair cart to haul chairs-only brought a crew of 2 men instead of the contract-agreed-upon 4.-refused to carry the chairs "that far" even though they had been paid an extra $150 to do so-their 2 men carried ONE chair at a time!!!! while my MOTHER, MOTHER IN LAW, Aunts, and Uncles carried 4 at a time and set up ALL the chairs in their wedding clothes in order to get them up just 15 minutes before wedding.

MIKESCONSTRUCTION MICHAEL SWAFFORD: This business goes above and beyond! I have been renting from them for a couple years now. When I really needed them I realized how much they care about their customers they have helped me, my business and my family more than I would ever have expected, they truly treat their customers like their own family! My house caught on fire and the son of the owner called me while it was happening before the fire trucks had left they had a van there to drop off equipment that we needed, when I returned the equipment and went to pay for it the owner of the company shook my hand and told me I didn’t know them anything. Customer service like that is few and far between these days. I would encourage anybody looking to rent anything to make this place your first call!

David Gilbert: I rented a DitchWitch with an 18" auger to prep for deck piers. It was too small to do the job so they offered me a discounted rental fee to exchange for a skid steer with the 18" auger. Immediately after I picked it up and got on the freeway, I got cutoff and blew a brake line. I was able to get the unit to the site without incident but I had no brakes on my truck to return their equipment or trailer. They came out to the site and picked up the skid steer and trailer and since it was a matter of safety I didn't get charged.Hands down, the best rental company I've ever worked with. Great prices and best service in the business. I would drive an hour to their location just because of the service.
