Roderick Lane: It's the commercial. The red chair being refurbished has '2 white spots' on the right arm; that lead my eye to 'view' misc products 'not in the interest of me' trying your business; ie: microwave, med pills, mountain dew, xfaxtor protein, a power drill, 2 water bottles, a coffee cup, a hammer & a blk coat...'Presentation' is a key factor to any business making money using a commercial.
Allison Carey: They restored 2 Thomasville armchairs for me. I was expecting them to be recovered and the springs repaired. I got that plus two throw pillows and arm and back covers to match and they refinished the wood front on both chairs. They were finished nicely with two rows of cording. So much more than I expected. They're honestly nicer than new.
cheri skomra: The is an issue with a piece they upholstered for me. They came, took photos, but have yet to call me about how the will fix it. I am very unhappy that I used them. It was very expensive and they tried to tell me the way the fabric was pulling was normal even though it was not pulling on the same area on the other side.
Sun Tsu: I would like to point out " owners responses " in an effort to help bussiness. I always review businesses before using them- when a business owner tries to make a customer's issue look like their fault and defend themselves only, I will not do business with them. I totally understand you can't please everybody - customers can be a pain. That doesn't make any given customer's complaint not valid, particularly when the complaint is reasonable, detailed and not rude. There's a difference between rude and frusterated. Non defensive communication with a customer to help fix services will only bring you more business.
Steve Boileau: This company excels at both their craft and customer service. Pricing is very fair for the quality product received, and the pick-up & delivery feature is handy. We’ve sourced two projects to them and will do more. Rebuilt these 30 year old dining chair cushions. - so nice!

Paula Eifler: I brought in a couch cushion that was from my mom who has passed. Lots of child hood memories . My dog tore it last year. I brought down the cushion and fabric from the arm rest. I showed and explained what I wanted done. They gave me the price . When picking it up today I was disapointed in the repair. I did not get what I asked for. They only repaired part of it. I got a piece mealed job. The nap runs two different directions. I called talked with John, he tells me the repairer uses as little material as possible when doing repairs I'm paying for his time. I said I was paying for what I requested done. His attitude oh well. He did not even offer to make it right. I will not ever go back to such a poor establishment. They do what the want not what the customer asked for. Was of $150 for a simple fix wast of what little material I ever have available. I just wanted the repair back to original look not a piece meal job. I could have done better my self.
Juan Sanchez: Nice person. But wanted $1,400. To reupholster For 4 barstools. I know thing's are not easy right now. It was incredibly over priced. Our maybe I looked Rich$$. Went and paid $600 for 4 new barstools. Keep fishing someone will say yes. Sooner or later..

Very important to me was that John and Angela brought sample fabrics to my home, gave me good advice, took the ottomans to their store --- and brought them back. THAT is what I call Customer Service. The ottomans look great, the Gwiz-team was great to work with. Highly recommend and will use again for my next project.

Eric Bennett: I built this oak Morris Chair a few years ago and it has been half-upholstered for all that time. My wife decided to have it professionally upholstered as a Christmas gift to me. I'm the king of DIY - but this time I gave in.Angela and John showed up on time, had great knowledge and ideas. They suggested the bullnose treatment on the front. They did the work in about a week and we are thrilled. It's stunning and sooooo comfortable. I'm glad we chose fabric, rather than leather - it's less slippery. They made the back thicker so my legs bend naturally. The workmanship is flawless, the piping is perfect and the firmness is exactly right. The color really compliments the quartersawn oak.I'm building more furniture and will have them do the upholstery.
Susan Petrimoulx: I took 3 barstool seats in to have reupholstered. Gwiz & Gwiz did a fantastic job. My seats looked brand new. The work they did was very impressive. There were lines in my fabric that had to be lined up with the seats. They were perfect. Clearly they pay attention to details. I would definitely go back there and recommend them to others!

Because I didn't know what the cushions should look like (the chair didn't come with them), he walked me through what kind of thickness of foam, piping details, fabric pattern orientation, etc. I appreciated how much thought he was putting into the chair to make sure it came out nice. Because of our past experience with him, I took in a rocking chair that I had inherited to have new springs put into the seat and to be reupholstered. I couldn't believe how beautiful the chair turned out!!! He cleaned the exposed wood, applied Old English Oil to hide the scratches and also lacquered it. I highly recommend him, he is not only a superb craftsman but also courteous and timely. He cares very much about the quality of his work.
