It started leaking gas by the main valve because they had replaced it with old one which I figured out later. They literally sell the junk stuff and charge like it's brand new and the guy gets very rude on you when you let him know about the problem you're having. This guy is very manner less and unprofessional he definitely needs to learn some manners about how to deal customers with respect. After contacting the owner! I realized. It was way over the 30 days! My washer stopped working. never had any problem with their appalance from there.! He was so cool. He had another washer dropped off today. No charge! Wow! What good people. I recommend them to everyone! I never do this review thing. But I just had too! It's nice to know! There are good people out there still. That that take pride in their company. VERY VERY HAPPY 😊!!

Taiana Love: March 2021 I came from over a hour away to purchase a Kenmore washer and dryer set, they delivered it a couple of days later. After receiving the set the washer didn’t run, it would not fill with water and only would spin. After calling and calling and driving back out there and contacting Chris about going on 3 weeks later they delivered another non working washer. This time around the washer WOULD NOT SPIN AT ALL leaving everything drenched. I texted him with pictures and videos! A week later they brought out a different one, cool. Sure enough a few weeks later my dryer stopped working and only blows out cold air. I have not been contacted back and it’s going 2 months. I have been waiting on a call from Ryan and Chris the entire time. He gave me his personal cell number when I had the first issue yet it still did no good. My appliances was well under warranty and I have small children so every other day I’m spending money at the laundromat drying clothes! Prior to the dryer not working I asked if I could just get my money back and they claimed that they would fix the issue and here it is July and the dryer is still sitting in the same spot broken. I would not recommend this place to anyone and highly suggest you take your money elsewhere or just purchase a brand new set from an appliance place!Update: Every so often I come back to check the reviews and 9 months later after making this one, the owner has still not replied but has replied to everyone else. Nice way to do business ha!!!! $1600 later I have a brand new washer and dryer purchased from Home Depot! Yayyy me

I ordered a washer and dryer from this place, it came & the dryer didn’t work, sent it back & the owner argued with me & told me I didn’t give him my working washer & dryer I already had in my house. Which why would I give you my working appliances for free. He called the cops on me because I didn’t leave when he told me to because I told the owner which is Chris that I’m not leaving without my money back. He kept getting smart & he start cursing & yelling at me until the police came, then his tone switch the police stated they always have to come up to this place. Fast forward my dryer didn’t get delivered until 2 days later & that one didn’t work. The men that were installing the dryer said it had a bad switch so he replaced it. It’s only been 3 weeks with having the appliances and now the washer is smelling like electrical wire burning, & the dial on the washer is not on correctly so when the washer cycle is done the washer is still on. Keep your money. Horrible scamming business.

Toni Kelley: We bought around middle of October and it lasted a couple weeks before we noticed ice building on the back wall and it blocked the lower part from getting cold. After a bit we had consumers energy program to come take a look at it and found out the defrost system went bad and to them it wasnt worth fixing. So we got a hold of the store to see if there anything that can be done. But since it was out side of the 30 days by 5 days they would charge us over 200 to fix it. They did say they would honor the warranty and swap fridges for us. Now another week running around (the Employees not picking up and im pretty sure unplugged the phone after a while, and they lie saying they call you but your phone on full volume on you all day and checking phone log and they didnt) you agree on two fridges just incase they cant find drawers to the one you really want and say they will deliver it Wednesday so you cancled your doctor appointment to be there. They never contact you that day and you call next day they say they will deliver it that dayThen they deliver a broken moldy one that you never looked at.

The two died within the first 30 days. If you buy just know they won’t honor their warranty. They are scam artists. If you buy with them be aware they won’t honor their end of the deal. Save your money! Such a waste. My tenants called and I did to, and they never pick up. My money went to a total waste. If you buy just know you have a great chance of never getting a response or have your warranty honored.

Janelle ewing: I went to Chris’s Appliance store to purchase a washer and dryer. I explained to Chris that my family and I were victims of the flood and needed to replace our appliances. Chris sold us a Maytag high efficiency washer and dryer set. Once we got the appliances delivered I began to wash. It took daysss for one load of clothes to dry, with me constantly restarting the dryer. I called the store and explained to them that my dryer was not working. I gave them all the information needed, date of purchase, brand of appliances, and the issue. This is where my nightmare began. On the first call my husband was told someone would contact us. Their “repair guy” called and said he would come by to fix the dryer. After about a week the repair guy shows up. Ge takes a look at the dryer and says he does not have the part to fix it and it will take 2 weeks before he can get it. I explained that this was unacceptable seeing that I have a family of 6 and this has been a issue since I received the appliances. The repair guy says he will see if he can get the whole dryer replaced instead. After about a week of hearing nothing, I drive to the store. Once I get there the repair guy is there and he goes to tell us that he has a dryer to replace the original one. The dryer was delivered the next day. Two weeks after that my washer starts to fail. I have been reaching out to the store, no call back, going up to the store, nothing. The owner has not even attempted to resolve the issue. I have been lied to and have been giving the run around the whole time. I do not have the money to keep replacing these things multiple times in a months span, which is why these appliances were purchased because of Fema to begin with. I feel like they are taking advantage of people in this position. Please be careful

Yasmeen Hamdoun: Called Jays appliance in distress after being told by two shady plumbers that they couldn’t replace my drain valve on my hot water tank because it could break off and they would have to replace the whole hot water tank (which was probably a lie to get me to pay them more for a bigger job). Alex assured me he would likely be able to replace the valve as he had done so before several times and therefore I wouldn’t need to replace my hot water tank. He came promptly to my house after I called and was able to replace the valve with ease. He saved me over a thousand dollars. He could have fed me the same lie to get me to pay more for the tank too but he was honest. Really appreciated his honestly and how quickly he was able to perform the service. I’ll be back.

Dït Soroa: UPDATE: Service was great as long as you BUY! We noticed the fridge leaking after 2 months as the water pooled up and visible ran out into the kitchen. We called them and they came out once to look at it, but seem to not have found anything wrong with it. We then didn't notice it for a while, but after a couple of months we saw how it rotted into the subfloor and black mold was growing. I called again, but the warranty obviously was not active any longer. I let that go. We tooka while to get our dryer installed and first it worked great. But after 10 rounds the connection to the plug melted through and almost started a fire!! Again, they said "we're short staffed and can't help you." I tried to get them at least pick up the faulty dryer but they wouldn't do it.They basically have 0 interest in helping you once the appliance is out of the door. They probably just fix them up so they work right up to the end of warranty and then the pocket the $. It's not my business obviously but with all respect if I think it would be better if they cared about their customers and give a little extra service. It looks hella shady what they're doing and left me with a pretty bad opinion about their operations.////We bought a fridge, dryer and washer from Jay's and the guys were great, delivered it timely and carried the units inside as agreed. Great service!

I was able to bring the old one back and get a new one and a ridiculously low cost. I couldn't even believe how easy it was and people I tell the price to say I got a steal. Kristen Boucher: I called John R Appliance 2 days ago looking for a glass top electric stove. Over the phone, they told me that they had a 'great stainless and black stove that they just fixed up'. I asked about pricing and he said, '$275 plus $40 for delivery. I said that was perfect and I'd like to purchase it. I explained that I was about an hour away and the earliest that I could get there was Saturday (2 days later) and I asked if I could pay for it over the phone with my credit card, or put a hold on it with my credit card and then come in and pay cash. They informed me that 'they don't take payments over the phone but they could hold it if I was sure that I was going to purchase it on Saturday.' I said absolutely and asked their hours on Saturday...they said 10-6, so I said I'd be there at 10. He said make it 10:30. I said great and that I would see them Saturday morning. Fast forward to Saturday...I get to the store just after 10:30, walk in and say, 'hi I'm here to pay for a hold...I believe it's that stove right there.' The guy says, 'oh that stove was sold last night.' My jaw dropped and I explained the whole thing. The old guy with crazy hair (Ralph?) Told me too bad, the stove is sold and they didn't have anything else like it but that I could go down the street to different store. He also told me he didn't care how far I drove to get there or that they said they'd hold it for me. Frankly, I'm appalled at the horrible experience. I've purchased many times before, both putting a deposit down and walking in and purchasing. Bottom line, they didn't even try to make it right...it was just too bad that I wasted my time, gas, etc driving there to purchase something they never intended on holding. They could've been honest in the 1st place and I would've gone to store #2 first. With this experience, they've lost a long standing customer.

They never said a single word to us, we stood by the fridge we wanted for 5 minutes and they never looked up from their phones, so we drove a few miles away and bought a fridge from a competitor.

My family and I are very satisfied with our purchase I drove 45 miles to do business with Ralph and Randy I've been buying appliances from them since I was 17 yrs old and I'm 54 now I would never buy any appliances from any other Appliance store with checking them out first.

It was going to be a month for delivery.I went to J&T and had a working dryer--delivered and installed--in less than 24 hours, for much less than either of the first two options.Friendly, professional staff in store got me squared away, and the delivery crew was the fastest, most efficient crew I've seen. In maybe three minutes they guided the dryer safely through five doorways and a set of stairs, into position, got it set up, and were on their way.I have a house I'm renovating, you can bet that J&T will be supplying all the appliances I need! Great price, excellent service.
