Best Video Game Rental Store Warren Near Me

Rob: I pre-ordered Zelda Tears of the kingdom. When I asked about my pre-order bonus I was told that it was while supplies last, so I did not recieve one. I did not receive that information upon purchasing. I did not even have a chance to get the preorder bonus because the midnight release was announced only one day before the release date. I had to work, there was no way a working person could show up to that. I also asked for the new TOTK pro controller, which they were also out of stock. The lady said they had only 7 of them total. What is gamestop even thinking? Only seven of the new controllers on game launch? Also the lady cashing me out was telling me about how her ex fiance was first in line for the midnight release, so she had a bad day. I dont know what that was about. I should be playing Zelda, not writing this review because I want gamestop to do better.

All I wanted was a exchange for the exact same game. I was given a very hard time because I didn't have the receipt. The kicker was we even paid extra for the warranty????It's very clear why the company is decline. Save your time and money and go to disc replay.

Austin Taylor: I spent 15 minutes in the store being reassured by a manager and an associate that the $400 wheel I was purchasing could be returned no questions asked within 30 days as long as it was not broke. I asked if it would be refunded back to my card or if I had to exchange. They said it would be refunded. I went to return it after one time use and they said, "sorry, exchanges only. You should have read the bottom of the receipt." Fotunately I talked to a different manager and they were understanding and refunded me still. Thank you!

Stephen Schocke: We rented from them for a party we were hosting. Within about an hour of inquiring online, I was contacted and the owner Chris actually talked me through all the games and gave me a lot of suggestions on which games would work best for what we wanted.I had a rental agreement shortly after and they called to confirm everything with us after that.Every step of the process was smooth and painless. The owner gave me his cell number to call if we had any issues with the service or the games.As for cleaning with this whole Covid19 stuff going on, when they showed up, they wore masks, wiped down all the machines for us with wipes and left a hand sanitizing station for us and guests to use as the night went on.Set up took less than twenty minutes and all the games worked perfectly, we rented 3 total game (4 machines) and they all worked and were a huge hit for everyone at the party.Thank you so much!

Logan Pelto: Alpha Amusements was our FAVORITE vendor to work with during our wedding planning process. We got two pinball machines for our guests to play during our reception and it was hands-down the coolest thing at our wedding. Playing pinball is special to my husband and I, and has always been a fun detail of our relationship since we started dating. We really wanted to have some machines at our wedding and I was so surprised how easy Chris and the Alpha team, made that happen. They were efficient, quick to respond and didn't need much more than an address to get the job done. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who has any gaming-event needs. I wish I could do it all over again!

Hannah Mills: Alpha Amusements was the easiest vendor to work with for our wedding. We rented two pinball machines (LOTR and Tommy) and two classic arcade games (Dig Dug and Mrs. Pacman). Chris made the payment process, set up, and pick up seamless. He even texted the maid of honor a photo of the set up to make sure it was perfect before he headed out. Th games were a hit with the guests. Honestly the best thing we spent money on for the reception after food and drink.

Paige Culham: We rented DDR and Skee-ball for our wedding reception. The booking went very smoothly, but when we called to confirm a few details, we found out that the company had been bought out by another company. We never got a phone call or email informing us of this. When we finally got in contact with someone, they said that our contract would be upheld. The games were delivered on time for our reception, and everyone seemed to enjoy both games. Half way through the reception however, the Skee-ball machine no longer worked. It still lit up, but was not dispensing balls. We tried calling the emergency number on our contract, but that had been disconnected. We tried unplugging it, but nothing worked. We were also told (and it was written in our contract) that the games could be picked up that night, since the hall would charge us extra to store them overnight. They were not picked up until Monday (reception was Saturday). We finally got a hold of someone who said they would work on it, but still waiting to hear back.

They have a movie selection, too. They also have a homeade popcorn machine with caramel flavors and stuff. It was pretty cool and I will be back.

Elizabeth Stevens: How they're still in business after conning my gray haired dad into a 3DS they couldn't afford to refund baffles me.They upsold my technology illiterate dad a 3DS when I instructed him to get a DS Lite. I already had one, I was trying to get one for the backwards compatibility. But we calmed down when we remembered these guys had a return policy in the window. Which they took down after making a huge stink about the return. Granted, 100$ is 100$ but they were incredibly rude about a policy they came up with, store credit. These vultures also sold me a Pokemon Gold with a dead battery which I didn't pursue because I didn't want the ring around again. We never went back, and I advise you don't send your dad to a place like this. It was their fault in the first place for being old person vultures.
