Scott: This is a very nice facility! We have been here for a few volleyball tournaments this club season and every time is a nice experience. The bathrooms are kept clean even with the amount of people that are using them throughout the day. According to my wife and daughter the food is decent for an ok price. The only downside for us is that we have to drive an hour from home to get here, (the sacrifices we make for our kids).

Ellie D: UPDATED REVIEW: Now that Michigan Elite has moved out of Warren, we've been to the Livonia location at Schoolcraft. It is BEAUTIFUL. Ample seating, good parking, clean restrooms (with staff constantly cleaning them), and healthful delish snack bar. Thank goodness that they moved out of the Warren location! Livonia is an hour away from me, but I GLADLY drive there knowing I will be comfortable all day.I have not been to the Pontiac location just yet. Livonia is very nice though. Worth the drive.

Amy Carroll: We are so impressed with Michigan Elite once again! Our girls have played with this club for the last several years and the coaching, as well as staff, have always been so impressive. Both their Pontiac and Schoolcraft facilities are top notch. Michigan Elite tryouts are efficient, well run, and fair. Once placed on a team the coaching, additional training, and ample tournaments have provided an all around great experience. We would highly recommend Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy!

Laura Hawks: Would not send my daughter back or recommend this club to anyone. No where on the registration page or camp info page did it say the camp was non refundable. I registered and paid for a camp. My daughter tested positive for Covid the night before and was unable to attend. I was initially told I’d get a refund but then told it would only be a credit to use there. I sent them screenshots of the camp info page, registration page, and receipt, none of which had the refund policy. I have emailed multiple times only to be ghosted by them.

Violet Selca: We had an awesome experience thanks to coach Jodi and Rachel at legacy. We participated in a spring league with 5-6 practices and 3 tournaments. The coaches are very skilled and gave the kids immediate feedback after each play during game time. The practices were very well planned. The girls have tons of opportunity to play and make contact with the ball. They even had suggested homework to help them practice and get better. The girls practiced to the last minute each time as there was no time to play around. These coaches were friendly with the girls but firm and gave them high expectations. Jodi and Rachel were great and we will be back.

Maryam Talib: The way that when I called the front desk to ask when my annual membership would end because I didn't want to continue paying the monthly fee. I was told it would it would end in February, and then the payments continued through April. When I called in, they told me I had to come in person to cancel my membership. When I asked the billing department for a refund for the months ofMarch and April, he said there was nothing he can do for me even though I wasn’t given the full information when I inquired about it. Then he said you should’ve remembered that you had to come in person to cancel the membership when I MADE THE MEMBERSHIP OVER A YEAR AGO! how is it that I lost $120 because someone was too incompetent to provide me with the complete information?!

Plebb Gaming: They wouldn’t let us in even with a membership and the employee was very passive aggressive and rude. Also I’ve seen many workers let in friends of theirs without memberships. Lastly they’ve never cleaned their courts or gyms, I constantly slip over the dust on the courts. I almost forgot to include the fact that they have guest passes on their website and when we asked to use a guest pass they said they don’t do them!Both the member and guest were above the age of 18 and we were still refused.a guest pass. Also when we purchased the membership we were never told that there would be an age limit to the guest pass, and many employees have told us that don’t do guest passes even though we were told the membership comes with guest passes.

They don’t take concerns about racism seriously, instead they gaslight and invalidate their black members rather than taking accountability and apologizing. They’re overpriced and unprofessional, go to another gym. If you’re looking for a professional women’s only gym try powerhouse or athletica. don’t give this place your money, they won’t respect you

Kideck: The customer service was amazing today! Ali, the manager, stopped what he was doing to help my son find an item that was lost. Thank goodness he found it, but many establishments would have told him to take the L and the manager would have kept doing whatever else he was doing. My son and I want to say “Thank you Ali, and thank you Hype for having excellent customer care and putting members first!”

Aphrojite x: If I could give zero stars I would. The staff does not take racial slurs and bullying seriously. Especially when it’s African Americans. Instead of canceling or suspending the membership’s of racist people they suspended victims of bullying. Which led to suspending the racist for A WEEK. Then claimed we’re playing the victim. I have never experienced a more unprofessional facility.

Cassidy Moore: Unfortunately I have to say this place is not African American friendly at all, if you are of any other race that’s not Arab I would stay away from this establishment. There are no regulations for children who seem to run the place more than the actual staff, so be prepared to hear loud,un behaved kids run around saying racial slurs and not even have a membership… you pay all this money just to have others just hanging around for free because again they don’t have strict enough guidelines when it comes to these things. To put the cherry on top if any kind of incident happens with you were you want action to be done and someone to be held accountable that simply will not happen you will be blown off and not taken seriously so if you plan on bringing your kids be prepared for the bullying because it’s outrageous!It became about your organization when your organization decided to do nothing about the situation, seeing how you again blame the victim shows your true colors alone, you fail to take responsibility and care more about protecting racist. Also this wasn’t a bad experience with just 1 child this was a group of children that has happened more than once so again you as an organization tolerate racism and to say Im being discriminatory and hurtful when not only my family but another were victims of discrimination by the lack of action of your organization is disgusting. You’d think in 2023 I as an African American wouldn’t have to question my families well being in certain establishments or deal with ignorance like this but I guess hype athletic is not ready to start holding people accountable and protecting members from blatant hate speech… and just from your unprofessional/insensitive comment I will not be back to speak with anyone.

Sug Mae: Used to love this gym until one of your workers kept making excuses that I’m not aloud on the indoor track for example 1 day he said I’m not aloud with a coach the next day he said I’m not aloud because there are people running then he made an excuse that it’s to busy like if I’m paying 30 dollars a month I would at least like to use the stuff I payed for especially when the basketball Courts are full and I need to find something else to do other then the gym

Maysaa Rahal: I'm not sure how long I've been going to this gym. Excellent programs and classes. My daughter enjoys it. It's also close to our house. The staff is friendly, with special mention going to Brian and Leon, who are both friendly and professional. I only wish they could open at 4 or 5 a.m., which would be very convenient for working people.

Aimanj 421: Hype athletics is a very nice place, has nice people and very good equipment both in the gym and the basketball courts which have been up to date each year, I recommend it to anyone that likes going to the gym for weight lifting or to play basketball

Nooralhuda Albahiesh: Ive a member of this gym for 7 years now. The ladies side is always expanding and offers everything you need whether is a light workout or more advanced. It’s very clean and their hours stay late which makes it convenient for my schedule. I’d definitely recommend it!! The front desk workers are really friendly and helpful!

Dave Sullivan: If you'd like your kid to practice on HALF A COURT then by all means send them here. Unorganized cluster F here. This place is filthy and woefully mismanaged. Coaches have no accountability.

Andrew Root: We came from a smaller club in Lansing to try Legacy for a season. Our daughter was a two year varsity starter who more than anything loved the game. If youre daughter is a good player and loves the game (not D1 or D2 scholorship, but talented player) go elsewhere. You will likely not find a healthy place with this club. If you are not an Adidas star, you are a financial resource to pay for their top teams and nothing else. Your practice times get bounced or cancelled with no notice for the better teams, your girls successes will get minimal recognition, and even when the club is at fault, they will not flex on thier refund policy. The one positive is we were lucky and drew a great coach who valued helping girls try to love the game. Literally everything else was either an overpriced rip off or a headache. After this past club season, our daughter is debating not playing club anymore.

Michelle Abernethy: My daughter attended Spring Ball to get some additional help on her play and paid for it with her earned money. She had hoped to receive some much needed training on her overhanded serve but didn’t receive any! When she couldn’t get it over the net they just moved on to the next player with no additional assistance for her. She was very disheartening! I reached out to one of the owners and received an email offering a one on one training session for serving but no follow up to do so. T shirts were apart of the fee and she didn’t receive. I emailed them twice asking if it could be mailed with no response.

Sarah A: Legacy has the best training in the state. If you want to play volleyball there is no better place to play. The directors are coaches they have a direct line to the players and the results. This is not a business it’s a passion. There motto is “leave your legacy” and they take it very seriously. This club has taught both of my daughters about commitment, competition, accountability and drive!

Fred Cofield: 18 U management does a poor job of communicating with the parents. They seem to be all about the money. Several parents and myself had issues about one of there coaches verbal abuse towards our girls and no one wanted to listen. Their approach was let’s not deal with it maybe he’ll change or the season will end.

Callee Newhouse: Morgan the head pro at east side was kind enough to welcome me into the tennis community and fix my backhand after 10 years between matches 😊Entire staff is professional, kind, they go above and beyond to make the clinics fun and have always been inclusive of anyone looking to pick up the spirit and sport of tennis at any skill level!

Conor Garvey: I’ve been going to Eastside for a long time, and I love it here. Staff is great, the facilities are top notch and I love the new soccer field they put in. However, I can’t wrap my head around the mind-boggling decision to close the gym from 12-4 during the summer. I’m sure that this is a time where many other people are able to get in a workout due to work breaks or scheduling, but the gym being closed makes absolutely no sense. Having this time blocked out also cramps up the gym in the time that it IS open because it forces more people into a smaller time frame. At the end of the day, Eastside is a great place and I love it there but I just cannot understand this decision.

Ian Studders: Solid and small-ish local tennis club. Lacks a couple amenities that larger, traditional suburban athletic club might have (pool, sauna, etc). However, from a tennis standpoint Eastside is great. Good leagues, pros and USTA options. Good kids programming. Affordable and fairly priced. New ownership is making many key updates and improvements to the facilities. Exciting time to be a member.

Jay Shimko: Amazing Facility! A ton of work has been done on the inside in the past year. Very clean and are strict and follow all covid Guidlines. Being a brand new member I was opened by open arms by the new Management. The Pickleball courts are amazing. Did some drop in and the Drill were awesome. The pro shop is on the smaller side but they have everything, and if they do NOT have it, they will get it for you. This place is a Hidden Gem on the Eastside. The Gym is super clean and they use the IQ air to circulate and clean the air in there. I am super excited to try the golf simulator.

Morris Garraway: Indoor tennis courts/facilities that's open with a great weekly schedule that fits my schedule! East side of Detroit near Gross Pointe, Mack & Warren, get that first serve in!

Victoria Alexander: The trainers there are rude and not friendly to new people. It seems to be a club that doesn't really welcome new members. I was there a month and not ONE facility member spoke to me until a trainer was rude to me! They switch their hours around without telling anyone and when I called and asked why wasn't I told about their summer hours(closing in the middle of the day) I was never called back and my membership promptly removed. Terrible customer service and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! And I'm a certified trainer and have been in gyms for over 20 years!

Julia Kravitz: I love attending Regina because of the strong sisterhood present. The lunches are outstanding, and the kitchen staff is wonderful. I play three sports for Regina, and I enjoy playing with teammates that show great sportsmanship throughout the entire season. In addition, the class selection at Regina for honors and ap students is marvelous.

Lydia LaFrance: I am Junior at Regina High School and have loved every moment. From meeting new friends to joining the hockey team (which I've never played before). Clubs from RHS Ambassadors to NHS. From powderpuff to homecoming, there's never a dull moment!

Kaitlyn Mack: I have experienced nothing but the best while attending Regina High School! At this school, I have been able to grow close with so many different people, and I have been academically challenged in order to help prepare myself for college in just a few years.

Lauren Bresky: After feeling dissatisfied with my experience at a local public high school, I transferred to Regina. As a new student, I was worried about not fitting in, however everyone is so welcoming and I made so many lifelong friendships within my first week of school! My only regret about Regina is that I did not transfer earlier! There is simply nothing like it; There is great emphasis on sisterhood and tradition. Students are so positive and encouraging, which creates a fun but competitive learning environment. Although the school is smaller, this is only an advantage because you really get to know everyone and small class sizes are great. Additionally, you will be very prepared for college because academics are extremely challenging, with offered Honors and Advanced Placement classes. Teachers really care about their students and make themselves available to provide extra help to students whenever necessary. Additionally, Regina requires all students to have an electronic device in all classes, meaning the learning activities are endless- which helps in accommodating all learning styles. It is so easy to get involved with countless clubs and extracurriculars offered. The cafeteria food is very tasty, and all must try the iconic Regina cookie. The Counseling department is actively involved, organizing several assemblies throughout the school year, and meeting with students individually at least once a month. I was hesitant to transfer to a new school as a Junior, however the Admissions Department is excellent in answering all of your questions, as well as encouraging friendships by introducing you to current students.

Roseann Swink: Wonderful High School! Set a strong foundation for my college education and academic achievements. I never realized just how lucky I was to attend Regina (back in the days when it was still located in Harper Woods) until I looked back on my personal accomplishments forty and now 50 years later.Spiritual enhancement of moral values, loving friendships enjoyed to this day, and the desire for intellectual achievements were nourished and nurtured though my years at Regina High School. I'm looking forward to soon visiting, and celebrating the 50th Reunion with my former classmates.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality sports gear at a great price.

I looked around for a second and found one thing I was looking for and couldn't find the other so I asked her and she immediately knew where I needed to go and pointed me in the direction. At checkout she was again so nice and got me in and out pretty quickly. We need people like her in management positions to help train new employees in customer service! She embodies the customer service experience♡ Dunhams should instill a customer survey so their employees can get recognition directly to them!
