BJ's Wholesale Club: what do users think?
MEbrickCo: Airways a decent time. Great deals here n there. Still more of a Costco guy... But bjs is a close second.
PEPS GIRL: I was in the club on 04/15/23 approx 6pm. I gave 2 stars this trip because the deli worker had an attitude (African American gentleman with salt and pepper hair, I’m African American too!!) I walked up to the deli and no one was there, I waited around and finally asked someone if the deli was closed. They went in the back and grabbed the deli man. He was chewing and HE DID NOT LOOK HAPPY BECAUSE HE WAS INTERRUPTED and pulled from the back. I told him I wanted Bologna sliced thin, THIN and he asked which one???. He sliced the first and it was thick, I told him I wanted it thinner, he turned the dial on the machine and continued to slice without showing me the consistency of the next slice of Bologna. I got home and the bologna is not sliced how I asked. Next time I know to check the contents before leaving the club. Customer service is everything no matter where you work. Do better!
Angela Fitzpatrick: 💖💖
Ricardo Paredes Cañedo: I bought tires through them and the price was very reasonable. Plus they had free installation. I wish I would have bought tires for my other car through them. I would have saved almost $200 for the same tires versus Discount Tire but oh well.
Naren: Had an horrible experience. Pat the store manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. Got stranded for 10min at the exist door because a person ahead of me paid through the BJS app. And the untrained lady at the exit door was struggling to scan the items and verify. Why to ask people use their app when you have to rescan every single item at the exit door again. There is only person that can let you out. It's a falling business and rightly so with the customer service they have.Go to Costco and see the difference. Never come here.....
De'Shil Martin: 1st timer at BJ's. Very clean & organized.
Michele Sacky: Fully stocked
C.C: Online ordering for the deli seems to only be working during the week and never the weekends I am 100% sure that is NOT coincidental.
Cheryl Hatch: I love my experience in ur warehouse bcuz it's so big and specious and it's so great on the noise and crown that u can't tell that it's overwhelming with people. It was a great experience day. I brought my high school friend in today bcuz she had never been. It was a trip just to watch her try to compare prices.
Shiloh Weaver: This place is horrible the lady at customer service is rude. She had a mouth full of popcorn while speaking to me and butter all over her hands. The bathrooms are out of order and filthy. I tried to speak to a manager and she was rude not helpful at all. I think that her name was Jessica. She is slim and wore glasses and spoke to me with a "black-cent" which made me feel racially profiled. I doubt that she speaks to everyone like this. Never again!
Randel Meisner: Very nice and clean store.
Larry McKenzie: Went to the one in Madison heightsTo get information on joining the club the lady at the front desk was rudeToo high of club membership $55.00 not worth itCan't even go and get a one time pass to check it out.Stay with SAM'S club
Chef Cara: I love they open at 8 unlike the other wholesalers. Got there a little after 9 and it was not many people which I loved. My sister and I went this morning to check it out after I purchased memberships on the app the day before. Ken at the service desk was very helpful and super friendly. Explained how the rewards worked very thoroughly. The greeter was nice. I wish I got her name.Smaller than Sam's and Costco but prices are definitely cheaper than the two. If we had more room at our house we'd probably would of gotten more items but my sister needed some things for lunch for her second semester internship at the hospital Monday so this was perfect for her to stock up on things she eats everyday and not break the bank.
Nico Gianakopoulos: The worker at the gas station should not be employed public facing. Completely disrespectful. The guy really wouldn’t let me pump gas because I backed in lol how miserable do you have to be poor guy
Renita S: I got in and out quickly. Which, to me, is extremely important.
Jenn A.: I’m so annoyed this place is so close to me and we decided to get a membership. I only gave it one star due to the decent prices otherwise is would be zero or one. The customer service is horrible, the online ordering is trash!! The staff provides horrible customer service, every time I shop at BJ’s there’s an issue. I’ve never had these issues at Sam’s Club or Costco this place is horrible, we will not be renewing our membership! When ordering online my order is never ready when I’m told, especially for deli orders. I’m currently sitting on hold and no one can find my order. Trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike Morrison: The snack station is barely ever open, I don't even know why they have one.
Arafat Hussain Chowdhury: Just like any other BJs place.
Tonya Cole: Why did I just get gas from bjs at $3.89 then I drove by sonoco at 13 and crooks and it’s $3.74???? Why am I paying for a membership when I can drive right up the road for better prices??? Fix this Immediately!!!
Donna Spears: Make sure you go there to the tire department when tony is working. Not so much the other guy he was rude!! Although he did a great job on my tire install! He needs to keep his pie hole shut!!!
Edward Cosgriff: I am a delivery driver. The savings in gasoline alone pays for my membership and more.

Sam's Club: what do users think?
Patrick Hughes: I love it
Hamdi Taher Alshaabi: Wait a long time to be held accountable
Dilwar Hossan: Members service desk not good. Long line but there is only one person serving very slow.
Jaime Te-Ana: Had to wait longer than normal for pickup, but I received my goods and was able to go.
Ms. D: In and out no crowd
Terri Newman: Great place to shop
Bettie Cotton: Almost always have everything I need. Always stocked
Sandoval Singer Official (Sandoval Singer Official): My family has been shopping at Sam’s Club for almost 20 years, this one in Madison Heights specifically, and the service is getting worse by the day. I have had bad experience after bad experience here, rude workers, workers that ignore you completely with their headphones in, etc. I spent 10-20 minutes in the store this morning waiting for help on a car battery, unacknowledged and unaddressed other than two people who said they would page someone for me to come, and nobody showed up. I asked another person standing there with a name tag on, and he said that they would be with me momentarily. Still I was helped by no one. The lady sitting by the door checking people’s receipts made eye contact several times and never offered to call anyone. They apparently don’t care about customers and they’re turning away people who actually want to buy from them. Bad service. I’m going to be looking at other wholesale companies to do business with because Sam’s Club apparently doesn’t want our business nor do they respect their customer base.
Dee Hall: Great service! Friendly staff @
Michael Loene: Problem's with online order at cafeteria. Please improve the process.
Lonnie Sorrells: Typical Sam's club, long lines.
Suzanne Costa: It was OK. Only 2 lanes open, and extremely long lines.
Harpreet Singh: Very very bad service
Julian Jung: Ice cream is always sold out.
Laura Ross: Worst experience with their gas. WHILE I was pumping gas, they turned off the pumps to fill their tanks. I get it needs to be done, but don’t cut them while people are in the middle of using them. Then he says it will be 15 minutes. After waiting at the pump for 1/2 hour he says 15 more minutes. Ridiculous! I left. Be honest and think about your customers. The employee didn’t even tell us what was happening. We had to go ask him. This was at 7 pm and they close at 8. You really couldn’t time this better? No sorry. No explanation. Just a waste of time.
Peter Juziuk: One of the better/nicer Sam's Clubs. Use the self scan and pay to avoid the check out lines. Super easy and fast, unless you're buying gift cards, then you need to use the "real" checkout.
Ricarda James: April 6, 2023, tried calling tire dept. and customer service for 30 minutes, 6:30 pm to 7pm, but no one would answer the phone!!! Very dissatisfied. I'll take my business elsewhere
Devan Ternan: They're usually well stocked. There are always carts available at the entrance.Other customers have absolutely no spacial awareness but that's a problem at every wholesale store.I have only two big problems here. The parking lot is a mess and the gas station was absolutely not designed for the traffic it gets. My other problem is the obnoxious AT&T people that start harassing you as soon as you walk in the store. Nobody is in Sam's Club to buy cell service. Quit bothering everyone.
Robert Sanders: Sam's Club is always crowded! You won't leave empty handed!
Michael Lewis: I keep going here because I know where everything isThe gas here is also at a great price overall.
craig bill: Has a wide variety of items.

BJ's Wholesale Club: what do users think?
chelsea Johns: Horrible customer service center.
Doug North: I like the store, and the employees are friendly and helpful. My main issue is with the AT&T sales people that are on the sales floor. They are overly aggressive, and they use very high pressure sales tactics to try to get people to quickly sign up for expensive long term contracts. I've found myself in full blown confrontations with them after they refuse to accept my polite but firm insistence that I'm not interested. My other issue is that twice now I've gone to the store, and the entire refrigerated and frozen sections were cordoned off, and all the products were removed from the shelves. I mostly only go to BJ's to buy food, so those were essentially wasted trips.
Bob Galvin: BJ's Wholesale has experienced several CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS due to them charging SALES tax on the FULL purchase price, instead of the "sale" or "reduced" price. I am attaching my receipt from this weekend...and YES, I debated back and forth for quite some time with the manager, to no avail. BE WARNED. PSA. Michigan sales tax is 6 percent, I was charged 16.3 percent.
Heather Shellenbarger: A little disappointed in my first experience with BJ’s. I ordered a cake and a party ring sandwich on a Wednesday for a Saturday party. It comes with Swiss cheese so I asked if we could have cheddar instead, she said no problem. Went to pick the sandwich up and the first thing the lady said when she handed it to me was, “sorry, we had 24 subs today and we put Swiss on your sandwich.” Ok, I get things happen. But then they handed me the cheddar that was supposed to be on the sub and said they would have had to up-charge me anyways for changing the cheese, which they never mentioned when I ordered it, and the cheese they pre-packaged for me was $6.99. So it was another $7 just to change the cheese? So the party ring sandwich ended up costing $35. Plus it doesn’t come with any kind of dressing, lettuce and tomatoes come on the side, it’s a lot of bread, and she told me it’s easy to just pick off the Swiss cheese…
Big Guy: Don't buy tires there. They are careless an destroyed my 20" wheel skins. Too lazy to remove them and the tire press machine broke them up. Waiting three weeks for a manager to contact me. Cost to replace is $150
David Grabowski: You ring up your own groceries. Than they have the balls to have an old loser man go through your cart before leaving. Stay away. Bad place
Dana DiCenso: Love shopping here! The prices are comparable to Sam's Club and Costco. The staff is helpful and polite
Michael Geist: I enjoy shopping here compared to Costco and meijer and Walmart
Amanda Lewinski: Horrible customer service
Ryan Liddy: Always a nice experience. Facility is always clean. I have ordered party subs multiple times. Always great quality and people are always asking "where did you get that sub?". Great propane prices. Friendly and helpful tire folks. I see comments about check out issues. I have been there at least twice a month since opening. Never once had a check out issue.
Kathy G: Women at the deli counter was extremely rude. How dare me expect her to open a new package to fill my order. It wasn't the nice one in the pink cap. If you're that miserable at work maybe it's time to find a job where you're not supposed to insult the customers. Cashier was super nice. Hence the extra star.
bianca ma: What’s not to love? The store is always clean and has a great variety for selection in every category. Prices are competitive and I love the digital coupons. I also love that I can scan and check out on the app! And the deli/order head is a game changer.
Corey: Always read the fine print at this place and don't auto-renew your membership. Some of their offers are hard to claim even when you fulfill you end of the deal (Spend certain amount and get this type offers). Customer service was very short and dismissive with us as if they dealt with the same issue all day.
tyson sittu: It's frustrating when I go into a large establishment and there's only one can return, one glass bottle return and one plastic bottle return. What's more frustrating is when they're not working. I tried returning my cans and bottles but the can machine was down for service. Please either fix your machines ASAP or have multiple machines, BJs. This is unacceptable for a corporation as large as yours.
Victoria: We've been going here for 2 and 1/2 years now. They have almost everything Costco and Sam's club have. Great staff and great service! The produce is very hit or miss these days but they have a great meat selection. Good prices and we love that we can clip digital coupons!
Michael Howard: Good place for cheap gas. They also have a store.
Patti Cole: Like shopping here.. I like as much as I like Costco
Christine Palecki: Love shopping here very clean store different variety of stuff from sams and Costco.
Kevin B: We love bjs but avoid avoid the at&t sales people they talked us Into a plan that was supposed to be better than our oldVerizon plan turned out to be lies, nothing was like they said the plan was going to be and BJs ignored our problem because they said that it's another company not part of thier company. Other than that we love bjs especially the gas and diesel
Brian Oldham: Look at the trending reviews on the Neighborhood. There are literally hundreds of complaints about check out issues. Specifically the attitudes of employees. Everyone should continue to trend the post because I believe it is at over 400 (mostly comaints) already. This shows that management and corporate are ignoring the customer base and their complaints. Specifically when it comes to services and how staff handles personal one on one interactions. This is not only a poor reflection of mismanagement this trust customers put into their membership is broken.Corporate only looks at numbers based on renewal and new customer memberships. If it looks OK they they do not care or address customer complaints. If a trend like the one now goes viral then and only then will corporate address the issue and deny responsibility.Fact is management is responsible. The GM and other management at corporate are to blame. It starts at the top with those who have the experience and education to retrain employees who lose sight of their company's mission. That should always be 100% customer service. No customer wants to deal with employees (who willingly chose to work) with attitudes. Management should see the numerous complaints and stop this before it spreads. Looks to me like BJs needs to terminate the management team and start fresh.
Jason Hughes: About the same as the other big box stores. There is a deli that is good quality meats. I have found that you should check prices on items there outside of the store first. Fuel prices are generally $.40-.50 lower than the surrounding area.
