Helen Mart: My first time here, drove 1 hour and thirty minutes to have a interesting experience. Lol The server went above and beyond taking our order. Thank you for your attention to detail and kindness. The only reason I rate it a 3 instead of a 1. The problem is the food. It doesn't taste like Nigerian dishes, not spicy or the spice they use in their dishes it just tastes salty . The food we ordered 2 jollof rice, vegetable stew w/ fufu and two stew chicken meals. The food was hot but it tasted like whoever cooked the dishes doesn't know how to season food according to their heritage. I have eaten at several different African restaurants. The people at my church are Nigeria and Ghana They prepared food for the congregation once a year. I do know what it is supposed to taste like and although customer service is excellent food isn't up to par to me

Antonio Ledbetter8: First time here. Customer service wasn't bad. But I would NOT recommend eating here. I lost appetite immediately. Chicken was not fresh, one piece was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. All peices were dry not edible in my opinion. Rather than get a refund I figured this instead. Go to Maty's nearby or my favorite spot KG's African & American grill in Garden City.

D D: Once tried to use the Groupon for there and the cashier looked at me like I was crazy. Told me to call the manager. Could never get thru to manager. Or come back at a certain time...why would I come back at that point. If a restaurant has offers make sure your staff knows..
