Wilson Family Won: I usually go to Lape and 7 and Van Dyke, I went to this one and was very disappointed, don't like the rib tips they use, OxTails was Def flavorless and needed to be cooked longer it was tuff, no gravy, and I didn't get to the red beans and rice til the next day, after putting in the fridge I put them in the microwave this morn and it taste very spoiled, I need 7 mile lape back please.

lakese rupert: I heard good things about the place so I called trying to place an order no answer. I rode up there mind you I stay West and Lape is EAST this place was closed with a note saying it’s open until 9pm and it was only 7pm, Very disappointed.

Mr. Stuck Inthebox: This place has amazing soul food and the portions are so big I couldn't even finish my dinner. Was recommended by a friend of my travel partner and we stopped on our way to the airport I'm so sad I had to get rid of the rest of it because of the airport restrictions. Will definitely be visiting this place again next time I am in the area.

Heard they opened this location and it was “delicious” I decided to try it in hopes it would be much better than before. Once again I was disappointed. I got a fried wing dinner with Mac and yams. The yams were okay and the cornbread was ok. I wouldn’t even say good, just okay, not nasty but not anything I would go back for. The chicken was undercooked, pink in the middle, there was no type of seasoning on it at all. Going to a SOUL FOOD restaurant, you would think they season the meat. It actually tasted nasty like the grease was old and they fried it in the same grease they fry fish in. I tasted a hint of fish when I took my second bite then stopped eating it. I am severely allergic to fish. I’m glad I didn’t have a reaction to it. I had a family member try it and they said it tasted like fish also. They didn’t offer me any type of dipping sauces either. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the sides were decent. I will not recommend this place to anybody in the future. Especially this being the second visit I’ve had and been disappointed both times.

Ashley M: Terrible! To start, they have a "policy" that dine in must pay 15% gratuity, although the service sucks. Then tried to charge me 20%+ on my bill!! Ordered two steam bags with the garlic butter...so much garlic it was literally un edible and I love garlic. Ordered fried shrimp basket to try something else and that was even bad! Fried shrimp!? It was sweet like it had cinnamon or something I it, which was not an appealing taste. I have NEVER wasted food, especially when my meal was $135!!! we ate hardly any of it and wasn't worth carry out box to take home because it was so bad. Server never came back to table to refill drinks which we drank quickly because our food tasted terrible. Gratuity is for bad service.. would say if you want seafood go to red lobster down the street. Would not recommend this place, and I don't write reviews often but this was just too terrible and expensive to not share my opinion to save someone the hassle. Oh and the TV next to our table was on a loop and we had to listen to the same thing over and over and the bathroom was out of order!!!! Save your money, stomach and time.

Shae W: PORK SAUSAGES, Poor quality seafood, and salty boils! I've been to Crazy Crab in Warren about 5 times, the first two being in 2020, when the quality and prices were on par. I thought I would give the establishment an opportunity to correct quality issues, one being unclean shrimp, but that never happened. The quality the last three visits were subpar and tonight's visit will be my last.Tonight I went for a smaller boil only containing potatoes, corn, and sausage. Before ordering, I asked if the sausage were pork based and was assured that they are smoked turkey sausage, no pork. The sausages are PORK! I don't eat PORK. I'm disgusted and sick to my stomach! They lied for an extra $7??? Because of the lie and previous experiences, I will not be visiting for any other reason than to retun the PORK sausages they serve. Don't trust this establishment!!! It's very disgusting that they lied about something so small to get an extra buck. They lost one of the few customers they had left!!!

Asked again, gave us a plastic spoon. Dips came in packets. Rice served in styrofoam boxes. Seems like the place only have stuff for take out, and not for dine-in. The seafood boil was a but more expensive than the usual place we go to, and had less options in the bag. Requested cajun sauce and it was super oily, with chunks of unmixed cajun seasoning in it. Mussels were not cleaned. Shrimp & crab were okay. Corn was mushy. Sausage was extra cost.My recommendation? Go somewhere else.
