826 Michigan: what do users think?
Nate The Great: Stop by to visit and had a wonderful conversation with the lady there. she had a ton of information and showed me all of the cool creations that the students were making. The robot retro theme is very awesome and does create a wonderful storefront!
Oliver Peckham: Visited as a customer and encountered some fairly unfriendly staff members. The store is also a little less inspired than other 826 locations. Overall, it was nice to stop in, but I was a little underwhelmed.
Dominique Butterfly: They are a clicky bunch. There is not much problem solving skills among them. Most of the volunteers and staff are heavy drinkers. Before joining, make sure you read up on your top-shelf smarm. It will make the bleeding-heart-liberal-choking-on-cough-syrup-like conversations go down easier because you'll understand where they are coming from: a sell-out author's imaginary world.

Ruth Cooke: My daughter enjoys participating with Bricks4Kids. She's been playing with legos since she was born. What better way to encourage little girls to be engineers and the concepts of being able to build with her hands AND be proud of what she has erected on her own. We love the program. Keep up the amazing work!
S T: Great experience. Our kids love this program.

Everbrook Academy of Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Changyeon Lee: Scheduled a virtual tour on their website at 6:30AM to 7AM, thinking I can talk to someone before I head out to work. Turns out, no one shows up to the meeting after waiting for 10 minutes so I send an email with questions and the situation. At 7:05AM, I get an email from their manager that it’s difficult to hold a tour when their school opens at 6:30AM. There’s no apology whatsoever for wasting my time in the morning. So I suggested then removing that early morning tour slot on the website and her response is, “Unfortunately, it will always allow a tour scheduled if we are open.”So don’t think about scheduling virtual tour at 6:30AM with them even though their website will allow you to do so. They won’t show up to appointment knowing that their website will allow you to schedule appointment at that time.
Brooke Tumas: Both of my sons attend Everbrook Academy and we have had nothing but a positive experience. The teachers are all very professional and responsive if I do have any questions and you can tell they really love what they do as they are very caring towards the kids. I'd recommend checking it out if you are looking for a new daycare in the area.
Erin Wright: We've been sending our kids to Everbrook for over 4 years now, and have been very happy! We didn't realize just how much the staff felt like family until the pandemic hit and we were all back at home. The teachers truly care deeply about all of the children and provide a wonderful, nurturing, learning environment. I love getting pictures and updates throughout the day, as well as being able to peek in on the cameras at any point to see what my kids are up to. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great daycare in Ann Arbor!
Chaztine Crayne: Positive:ProfessionalismWe LOVE Everbrook! My Son has been there almost a month now and we couldn't be happier. I love the brightwheel app for messaging and I receive pictures of him playing throughout the week. I also love that I can watch him at any point with the web cameras! He asks to go back to each morning! Definitely recommend.
Melissa Merkel: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueI was very nervous about sending my kid to daycare but this is more than a daycare. This place has become like family, they love my child, create a learning environment and my child has made great friends. The staff is amazing I cannot say enough awesome things about them. We love them and you will too!
Fabrice Laurent: Unfortunately if your child was born with any type of health problems don’t even waste your time going to that place because they will never call you. (SAD ) we enrolled our little one since August 2019 we are still waiting for them to call us. Every time we go there or call them they said they will call us. none of us wish to have a child with health problems but god knows better.🙏🏻
Lindsay C: It is important to note that part-time enrollment is not available for children under 2. I learned this only during my tour, wasting both my time and the staffs time.
Jasmine Clay: As new parents, tutor time supported our transitions back to work. We appreciated the flexibility to initially enroll our child part time before moving to full time. The teachers are very kind and supportive. There is a caring approach to pointing out observations which also indicates that they pay attention to my child. My child has started each morning with Miss Stacie (Carr) in the infant room from the first day (she also opens for mobiles) and each morning my little one "must" start with a hug from her, to the point where I've considered building my days off of work around her vacation schedule :) We are sad to see our little one move to mobiles and not have mornings with Miss Stacie, however, the center has been responsive to our needs and we trust that our child will have a positive experience as a toddler.
Dajana Bailey: When my baby first started to attend the school she was in the class that's before preschool it was an all female class the ladies were sweet they took care of the kids cleaned them helped and took them to the restroom every 2hrs and cleaned them after they went potty then my child moved up to the preschool class which is mostly men teachers sometimes they switched teachers but not often they never cleaned my baby her face was always dirty nose was snotty the class bathroom would be dusty and urine would be on the seats one day they sent my baby home with a massive about of dried up poop in her underwear it was so disgusting they also have dried up and wet urine on the toilet seats and dried up poop from other kids the fed my child nasty sliced cheese some of the helpers are rude to some of the kids,I also told them to make sure my child is being PUT on the toilet every 2-3 hours because of medical reason THEY NEVER DID my child is shy so she won't say that she has to go that's why I told them they have to PUT her on but she would still go the whole day without being guided to sit on the toilet by her teacher they really don't care for the kids as I feel they should I say enroll at your own risk I want the best for my child and Tutor Time just is not it if you don't mind your kids coming home dirty by all means enroll
Bruce Maki: My 3 year old has been here for a couple of months....and we absolutely love it. This is a top-notch, technologically advanced program run by incredibly wonderful, caring, friendly staff. The best review: My daughter absolutely LOVES coming to school each day. I spend my days knowing she's in the care of the next best thing to Mommy and Daddy. Look no further...you just found your child's new school/daycare. I HIGHLY recommend!!
Nicole Renee: My daughter loves it!... Programs and curriculum are great!... Overall, we are satisfied with the school environment and the staff... Would recommend it!=)
Ming: My kid loves to going to school! :)
A Lewis: Not only am I HIGHLY satisfied with this daycare I would like to recommend it to any new parents or parents who care a lot about your children because these teachers and staff will treat your child the same as you will. When I started looking for daycares (when I was still pregnant) I called around and talked to different ones on the phone to check what services they provided and what type of program they offered. Not only was I dissatisfied with how other daycares talked to me on the phone I wasn't too pleased to hear about their programs until I called Tutor Time. They were so helpful over the phone and got me right in the NEXT day for a tour. I didn't need to tour any other daycares once I toured Tutor Time. This was by far the BEST one in Ann Arbor! As they took me into each classroom I could see how each teacher was with the children, hands on, and they definitely cared! When I went into the infant room (where my child would start out at 6 weeks old) I noticed all the babies were not only quiet and content, they were happy and satisfied. That alone is something very commendable-- making all the infants smile and seem happy unless they really are. The teachers in the infant room welcomed me with open arms. Not only were they warm, but they were also genuine and you could tell that they care about the babies well being and always obtained the ratio 1-4 (1 teacher for every 4 kids). The teachers are so loving and caring that I didn't even cry when I left my son or worry all day because I felt so content with them and leaving him for the first time. There is a link for the babies which the teachers fill out everyday that tells you everytime your baby is changed and fed. Anytime I have a question or concern the director welcomes me into her office and I can discuss anything with her and she is willing to accommodate any needs that you may have. The facility itself is well kept and always clean, which I witness them cleaning every night, and that makes me feel good to know that they care about my childs health. I cannot express what a WONDERFUL daycare this is and I am COMPLETELY satisfied with it! I would never take my son to another daycare and I cannot wait to spend the rest of his young years at Tutor Time to watch him learn and grow!WHAT AN OUTSTANDING DAYCARE!!!!! :)

Childtime of Ann Arbor: what do users think?
yatin sawant: Best day care in the area. My daughter went here since she was 3 months till she turned 2, before we moved out of state last year.We still miss this day care, very professional through our the pandemic time too, they do a bunch of activities and will accommodate special request as needed. We had so much diaper rash issues prior to going here but this day care through the time took care of her.Director and all teachers are awesome ♥️If you work at dominos this is a no brainer if you r looking for one...easy to drop off and pick up
Diane Barbeau: We send our not quite 3 year-old to Childtime on their Flex Plan, meaning he only goes about once a week. The flexibility in their scheduling is exactly what our family needs and I’ve recommended them to several moms of little ones. Their staff are so wonderfully attentive and patient with the kids. We’re so happy we found this place! The location is extremely convenient, just off the freeway. I’m very happy with the kinds of food and snacks they serve (even if my picky eater usually turns it down). They offer a live feed of what’s going on in the various rooms, and on our first day I checked the video about every three seconds lol. I get updates all day about meals, naps, and potty breaks. The director, Angel, has been wonderfully responsive and easy to work with- better than many of other places we looked at when we were searching for a daycare. I honestly love this place.
Katie Lampen: As a first time mom, I was so nervous about leaving my son at a daycare all day, but Childtime made the transition so easy. Now I love dropping him off because I know he is going to engage with caring adults, build relationships with peers, and participate in so many fun activities I wouldn't be able to put together at home. He is so social and loves playing with his friends every day- I'm so grateful we've had the opportunity to partner with this amazing school.
Jordan Martinez: I couldn’t imagine trusting a group of people more with my son. From his first day at Childtime, I knew he was in a safe and reliable environment. On days where I miss him a little bit extra, I take advantage of the Watch Me Grow app and log in to see what activities he is sound throughout the day. I also enjoy getting photo, nap and food updates from the Brightwheel App. The educators at Childtime consistently challenge our children with learning new age appropriate material and words. Not only has his vocabulary improved, he has also learned plenty of American Sign Language that we use daily at home as well. We are very proud to take our son to Childtime and would recommend it to any family looking for childcare in the area.
Ella Bent: All activities are indoor, kinda confortable jail for kids!
Toni J: Transitioned our son to Childtime from another center due to the quality and investment of their teachers. Best decision ever as there has been immediate & drastic improvement in my child's social skills & overall development.
D K: My son was here from 3 months to 7.5 months of age, and the only reason he isn't still there is because we moved to a different city. We LOVED Childtime so much that when we moved, we only looked at the local Childtime (saw online that it also had great reviews) and enrolled him there. My son was at this location in the Infant 1 room (smallest babies). He is our first child, and my wife and I were really nervous about him starting daycare. But the staff here is AMAZING. Infant 1 is led by Ms. Danii and Ms. Michelle, and there are a number of other staff who help out in there too. Believe this: Every single one of them is amazing. I couldn't have been happier with the care here, and my wife and I were very sad when we had to transfer him to a different location when we moved (the new location is great, but we still very much miss the Ann Arbor one). My son developed really close and special bonds with Ms. Danii and Ms. Michelle, and even on his last day there, Ms. Danii stayed 2 hours after her shift ended so she could spend as much time with him before he left. They care so much about their job and the children, and they do such an amazing job - I really can't speak highly enough of all the entire staff here. It's no wonder, since they are led by the great Brooke Boone, who is just fantastic as director, who also spent a lot of one-on-one time with my son.OK I'll stop raving about the staff to take a moment and say other things that might be helpful if you're considering enrolling.1) They have video cameras that you can watch whenever, so you can always see what your little one is up to - this is a new feature.2) Their app that they update to notify you when you child has eaten, napped, and gone potty is super awesome, and they're great about updating it. You also get very cute pictures and videos, and I've saved every single one I've gotten. You can also send and receive messages to the staff - they've always been very responsive.3) They have cool classes and summer programs, although this is obviously geared towards older kids.4) I forget how often, but they occasionally have Friday evening babysitting so parents can drop their kids off and then have an evening for themselves.5) Diapers and wipes and food (but not formula) are INCLUDED in the tuition, which is super convenient.I give this Childtime location my highest recommendation. If the location and cost of Childtime in Ann Arbor on Plymouth Road work for you, you'd do well to strongly consider it.
Trey Souchock: We have had an incredibly positive experience here at Childtime. Of course, the price was competitive which helps. But the people here are what really make a difference. Everyone genuinely cared for our daughter, beyond just her 'usual' teachers. Everything was high quality, clean, and surpassed our family's expectations.
Sarah Ryan: Fantastic staff and high quality center. Staff and director team are trustworthy, creative, incredibly kind and caring. Wholeheartedly recommend them.
Qingqing Wu: it's a really wonderful place for kids care.
Amber Oberlin: Our daughter began attending Childtime in Ann Arbor as a newborn in late June 2016 to toddler one in September 2017 when we moved. During that time, she had several outstanding teachers: Miss Jen, Miss Andrea, Miss Christine, Miss Alexis, Miss Kelsie, and the director Miss Brooke. The teachers were good at following through with physical therapy exercises and medication. They also took an active interest in our daughter, challenging her with various physical and mental tasks that taught her excellent fine and gross motor skills, puzzle solving strategies, and sign language. As first time parents, we enjoyed and were surprised by what our daughter learned at Childtime.
Emily Nurre: Excellent daycare. My daughter attended full time from 8 weeks on and they provided wonderful, reassuring, and adorable updates on the app daily. The teachers are so caring and invested.
Mallory Bonnell: Great place. Ms. Andrea in the Infant 1 room is amazing and great with the kids. All of the staff have been so awesome with my kid. Glad I found this place.
Curtis S: I absolutely love this daycare. They are all fantastic, very flexible, and holy cow do they do fun learning activities! Music day, water day, safari day (animals brought it by professionals), they had a planetarium, the list goes on...i wish i had this as a kid!
M Santos: Childtime Winter Park, FL - not perfect but I can truly say the staff tries their best to please every parent and that they truly care for the kids that go there. My little one has been there since she was an infant and she loves going there! Price is pretty competitive as well.
Megan Gandolfi: I was particularly impressed with Childtime, Ann Arbor last week. They were faced with a potentially dangerous situation and did an awesome job handling if. I really appreciate the response that was taken by all of you, it had to take a lot of effort and coordination to evacuate and keep track of so many little bodies.I'm sure he could tell that I was worried and told me that he was not scared. One of his friends was scared but he was not.Over the last year I have really been so impressed with how caring, kind and genuine you and your staff are and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the security I feel leaving My children with you when I can't be with them.Thank you and all of your staff for really doing a great job today and everydayMegan
Lindsay Schultz: We are so grateful that we have found Childtime in Ann Arbor. Not only is the location convenient (5 min off of M-23 and M-14, 12 min into downtown A2) but the teachers are loving, creative and warm. The culture is great and our son has special dietary restrictions that they pay strict attention to. We recently moved houses and had an opportunity to change daycares but the decision was easy for us to stay given our satisfaction with the center.

Vineyard Children's Center: what do users think?
Michele Chahine: So happy to hear this daycare closed down. Child protective services were called by a staff member regarding the director Peggy tormenting my daughter to take a nap. Also denying food if acting out etc. my daughter was 2 years old at the time. At the time Lara the Michigan licensing board did nothing about this and neither did CPS. How shameful on both parts, however luckily the school was shut down regardless. Our family just found out and are so happy no other child will be tormented, neglected, emotionally or physically abused any longer. Shame on this church!
Michael Limmer: Just got better with the addition of a Gaga Ball area.
Jace-Carter Blake: Critical:Professionalism,Value
JUST A LOGICAL LAD: The director (peggy) seems like she's high all the time and inexperienced unfortunately. their staff and other parents constantly complain of herfpr a good reason, and she doesn't follow licensing rules. she needs to be fired asap as often as things are being mismanaged. already unenrolled my kid. this place is so messed up.
Crystal Harris: My son started as an infant and I absolutely loved his care giver. She was kind, attentive, gave thorough reports. My son adored her. She always followed my wishes, communication was great. There was an assistant in that infant room early on who made a joke that my baby was so cute she wanted to take him home. That was off putting. VERY off putting. When he moved into the young toddler room that's where our troubles began. There was A LOT of turnover in that room and assistants didn't stay very long. To me this says they were either underpaid, overworked, or under qualified. I sent the Director a few messages about it and got no where. I ended up removing him from VCC because the high turnover was too much. There was also an incident where an assistant told me that my son was being restrained during nap time - he was 1 - because he wouldn't nap with the other kids. The lead teacher in that room was very nice but obviously things were getting out of control if anyone is restraining a 1 year old. This is not the least expensive option in AA and you would think that for the money you're spending you'd be getting top notch care. I liked that food was provided for young toddlers and above and it was mostly healthy. They did have snacks like Veggie Straws - which I was opposed to. No bagged food for my 1 year old but that's personal. They did provide him with the snacks I would send and followed our dietary restrictions - which is HUGE. There were a few times my son came home with really bad diaper rashes once he moved to the older classroom. He never got them in my care so I don't know what to make of that. I will also mention that I appreciate that the young kids did things like color and have circle time.I would say infant care is stellar, toddler care is adequate. We left because I wanted more consistency in care givers for my son.
David Hanss: Unfortunately you cannot give zero stars. We sent both our children to this center starting at 12 weeks of age and used to love it. Unfortunately, while it appears that the staff still hold the children's well-being and development as a high priority, the same cannot be said for their director, Priscilla. If a four year old is acting out at nap time and the teacher asks for assistance, Priscilla believes the appropriate course of action is to call the parents for the child to be picked up immediately. That's right, she suspends four year old's from daycare (we have heard that ours is not the first). She doesn't see any problem with this and doesn't seem to understand many, many more steps should be taken before that is even considered (most daycare providers would NEVER consider this appropriate). If she had shown that she understands child-development and was willing to work with children, we wouldn't have an issue. As such we pulled our children from the center. How can you trust someone with your pre-K child if she wants to treat them like a high-schooler?
christine chavez: Stay away from this horrible place if you care about your childrens innocence and safety!!!!!! #shuttheschooldown #notsafeforkids
Neha Saxena: My daughter goes to Vineyard from Mobile Infant room now is in Two's room. The staff is wonderful in terms of giving attention and care . She is learning day by day and also they do lot of fun projects and teaching good manners like please, thank you . Highly Recommend staff is awesome.
Gina Lipor: We had a great experience with the infant classroom at VCC with Tanya and Katrina. We have now moved to a different city and miss VCC very much. The director was very communicative via email and was flexible with our scheduling needs. All the caretakers were wonderful with my son and provided a nurturing and stimulating environment for him. He loved it there, and we were sad to have to say goodbye!
Aneesa Buageila: I enrolled my three year old son at Vineyard 5 months ago, and my 5 year old has spent the summer there as well. I couldn't have been happier with my decision to put them in VCC. I was very anxious about my three year old starting full time daycare since he hadn't had any child care experience out of our home before then. He absolutely loves his teachers and has felt comfortable there from day one (as does my 5 year old!). The teachers are all very warm and caring. I love that they incorporate a multi-cultural curriculum. The kids seem to get a great balance of physical activity and indoor time. Priscilla, the director, is incredibly responsive, and seems to me to be constantly striving to make VCC an even better place.
apoorva: My 8 month old has been going to the VCC infant program for a few months now. She absolutely loves it there! All three of her teachers are fantastic. They really care for the kids and feel an ownership towards them. Every day, I get a written report of my kids day and in addition to that, the teachers will also discuss everything in person with me when I go to pick her up. There have been so many instances which proved the individualized attention my daughter gets there. I fully recommend the infant program!
Sara Hernandez: I've been bringing my 2 children to Vineyard Children's Center for 2 years now. The staff is absolutely spectacular. My youngest is now in the preschool room and her teachers are caring, attentive, and absolutely wonderful. My oldest, who has since gone to Kindergarten, is now enrolled in their summer 5's course. I recommend Vineyard to everyone I know.
