Blue Café & Market: what do users think?
Vera Kuznetsova: Pumpkin spice latte is amazing here!
Michael Clancy: Not open at 9:30 when said open till 10:30 disappointing.
William Hu: A good and convenient simple store and place to be able to buy some snacks, especially late at night when the dining hall is closed and when you live in the nearby dorms. They have a decent selection of snacks and beverages and simple meals when you are hungry at night.

Bert's Café: what do users think?
Nicholas Granchalek: Lids don’t fit, spilled pure hellfire on my hands
GAURAV KUMAR: Great cappuccino
Steph Mecham: 3.5 starsDrinks: pretty good, better than I would expect for what it is, and very convenient for fueling study sessions. Their $1 coffee if you bring your own thermos deal is great! Downsides: you could probably get better coffee for the same price at some of the nearby coffee shops. I've also had 2 occasions where I got the wrong sized drink despite specifying 16 oz vs 12 oz cup. Not a huge deal but can be annoying.Food: Their prepared foods are actually really good (fresh sushi rolls, salads, curry masala, etc) - but they are pricey! They also tend to run out quickly during the lunch rush and dont get restocked right away, so theres a lot less options for people looking for a later lunch. Wish there were more vegetarian sandwich options as well.Ambience: Pros - Location is as convenient as you can get. Customer service is consistently good. Lines move quickly even during the lunch rush. Cons- they don't have any dedicated seating areas; their mobile ordering system via the Go app no longer appears to be functional. Wish they had extended hours, especially weekends.
Cole Tobola: Cheapest coffee around if you bring your own container, but really wish they were open later since the UGLI doesn't have a vending machine and this is the only place in the building to buy food.
Richard Leland: Decent
Michael Moore: Good coffee and nice workers.
Brett Andersson: Good selection of quick bites.
Max Miley: $1 coffee if you bring your own container!!
Zheng Yang: good place to work or mess around
Jacob Spring: Great food
Adam Kucharczyk: Pretty sure the Chef salad is NOT 500 calories, as the label implied. I’ve only eaten these for the past 3 years and gained 27 lbs, even though I should be in a deficitCoffees good though 5/5
Edward Shim: Customer service is top notch. They have a great selection of snacks and drinks. I love the quality of their coffee in particular. It is quita potent and intoxicating.
Molly McGaan: 70% of my assignments are fueled by Bert’s. The lattes taste like warm contact solution, but they get the job done.
Checkered Flag Interactive Media: Nice selection of items and fun staff. Definitely enjoy stopping before class or work.
Robert E: Quick service
arjun kishore: Good food and drink options to nibble on while studying. Could stay open a bit longer. Staff are pleasant and helpful
Dylan Baker: A cheap bite when you need it, but beware their cold brew is NOT actually cold brew, it is simply iced coffee which is false advertising as cold brew is a completely different beverage.
J: Great people and good coffee: fun fact - they get their coffee from Espresso Royale. Also a good variety of other foods and snacks including but not limited to bagels, soup, various pastries and a good selection of other beverages (pop, iced tea, red bull etc) along with prepared sandwiches, yogurt, juice and other similar faire. That it is also located in the Ugli makes it very convenient for students and staff alike. If i had to nitpick I would say I'd prefer they were open a but before 8 as many staff start at 8 and it would be nice if they could pick up a tasty beverage and bagel on the way into work. But this is only a minor quibble and does not impact the score at all.
Daniel Joo: You can practically taste the stress around here but cheap coffee
Kayla Ryers: Asian girl working on February 11th around 10:30 pm was very rude. I needed two new drinks because they were previously made wrong. She was not very quick to make them, questioned it, and never apologized. Having worked in customer service myself, it is commonly known that the customer is always right and you apologize when they are not happy/get a new product of what they're not happy with. After getting the new ones that she had made I thanked her and she did not reply, and the drinks are still just as bad.
Bruce Wang: A Bustling Environment Filled with Sub-Par Food and Snacks----Come for the Environment, Leave because of the Prices-----Bert's Cafe is located on the first floor of the Shapiro Undergraduate Library (or, the UGLI as the college students so affectionately call it).Stocked with snacks, coffee, small meals and candy, the food is altogether unremarkable and admittedly a bit pricey. Honestly, one would probably be better off stocking up at your local Costco™ and buying in bulk. The coffee is unremarkable - you're better off saving the 3 or 4 dollars and spending it somewhere else. That being said, one of the most redeeming qualities of Bert's is its undeniable atmosphere. There are students always walking around and chatting and honestly, it is quite refreshing.Scores:Food ---- 3/10Value ---- 2/10Accessibility ---- 8/10Service ---- N/AOverall: 4.3/10 --- 2/5 StarsVerdict: Mediocre. Food isn't great and neither are the prices. Good place if you have no other choices.
