Anh Le: I have an appointment through my insurance for drop-off and pick up service in the same day. I dropped it off before 9:30 am as required and came back at 5:00pm but they didn’t have it done. The most frustrating thing was that there was no way to call the store. I tried to call multiple times to check the status but there was no option to talk with a person. It’s all automatic response. They didn’t call me either to inform the delay.

John Bakarich: That which I am writing is based upon my very recent experience and is also my opinion based on that experience:Before I describe my recent and most disappointing experience, please look at those many negative reviews which others have provided. Notice that not once regarding those negative reviews of which I've read (sort by most recent), did the franchisee offer to do anything, whatsoever, to make amends! Insteade, the location simply says basically "sorry" or "thank you." What could possibly be more insulting? Were this your business, wouldn't you want to reach out and make amends, saying something along the lines of "What can I do to correct for our mistakes?" no matter what was required? Saying "sorry" or "thank you for your feedback" is about as insulting as I believe is possible! A quality restaurant will either provide you with a new meal, at no charge, or will offer you a future meal at no charge. This location makes no attempt to atone for its errrors.My auto insurance is with USASA. USAA uses Safelite to coordinate, schedule and process auto glass insurance claims andpaperwork for them, even if an insured prefers a different provide to correct auto glass problems.My very competent and extremely courteous Safelite coordinator scheduled to have my vehicle serviced this past Saturday. Given the communication we had each received, we understood that the Safelite franchisee on Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor was scheduled to send a technician to my address to make all repairs this past Saturday.. Nevertheless, in my subsequently speaking to a woman named "Kate," whom others identified as the Safelite manager for that particular franchisee, she indicated that she had no intention of her location on Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, correcting my windshield problems. Instead, she mentioned only that someone would drive by my residence, take a few minutes to quickly evaluate my windshield (which I don't believe would be sufficient given the nature of the problems), and then schedule a time for me to bring to them my vehicle to make the appropriate repairs. That both the coporate Safelite coordinator, who is part of their executive offices, and I both misinterpreted what we were tol.d suggests that Safelite was, at best, misleading the two of us in telling us that they would be servicing my vehicle this past Saturday.Based upon their apparent inability to communicate properly, as well at Kate's hostile and confrontational communication, I would strongly recommend against using this particular Safelite franchisee.In addition, "Kate," the manager, told me she did not have a last initial in her name and, therefore, she would not provide such. Upon my mentioning to her if she did not have a last initial that would suggest she did not have a last name, she repiied that she would not provide me with her last name. I had to reimind her, once again, that I did not ask for her last name, not did I ask for her favorite color or her favorite fast food restaurant.She was confrontational and adversarial

Whitney wozniak: Recently went in for a windshield replacement and they put in a non compatible one for our HUD and acted like they didn’t know and told me to see if I could just get used to the display after a few days. It was blurry and crooked. I had to insist the HUD was incorrect and then they ordered a new windshield and replaced it. Each time they didn’t clean up very well, my dash needed wiped down from the debris. They also didn’t hook my windshield fluid hose up and it was leaking all over and ran dry. The employees we dealt with didn’t take responsibility for their errors. We won’t use this location ever again.

I asked them to fix it but they claimed the cowl was old and warped.It turns out the cowl was fine but spacers were needed to hold the cowl against the window. I assumed the technicians knew how to put in a windshield but I've learned otherwise.

(note: Henderson Glass has been bought by Safelite)The staff at this location was very pleasant and helpful. It was super easy to get a timely appointment. The repair was done exactly when they said it would. The tech showed me what they did and everything I need to know about the repair. My Jeep came out looking MUUUUUUCH better than when I dropped it off.Thanks to everyone that helped me! I'd go back if I needed to, but I really hope that I don't have any more broken glass.

Nigel Berry: I reached out to Henderson for help in replacing a broken window pane on my garage door. They were knowledgeable about the type of glass I needed and placed an order right away. The turnaround time was right around when they predicted. I was pleased with the the quality and price and installing the glass myself was easy to do though I appreciated their offer to assist. 10/10 would use them again! (They saved me about $190 compared to the repair quote the garage door company gave me!)

Jason Cepela: Don't trust their installation services, this is what you'll end up with. They installed a large bathroom mirror in 2018. They used some sort of tacky putty which just let go... glass everywhere. Could have seriously injured someone. Tyler Wolfe: Replaced the rear glass on my car quickly enough. I found a random screw floating around the gap at the top of the hatch the next day. On a return visit for that I noted pieces of glass rattling around in the interior trim (removal required for glass replacement) they put the screw back but still managed to leave glass floating inside the trim. Really looking forward to having to take it apart myself.
