They did a temp fix on my car so I could drive it while I wait for the parts to come in. There is a part shortage and it’s a Pontiac, which they don’t make anymore, so it took a little bit to get the parts. Robert Benisch: This was a very very good experience. Absolutely stellar. We had to get some work done after an accident. Going in for the estimate: came in-person, and got the estimate the same day and you can make your decisions based on the estimate. This helped us decide on the spot we would go through insurance. The work done was great and they even give your car a very nice exterior clean and a little bit of detailing work! They had needed some extra parts (this only came up during the body work) and communicated very well about It was very nicely done. We were very happy with the end result and given what they did for us and what the parts were costing, I would say this is very reasonably priced too. The only drawback to such a great place is that people notice and they are booked quite a while in advance, however they do communicate that from the very beginning so take that into consideration. This also brings me to another point why this place was great. The communication was stellar. From initial call about getting an estimate (including communication on the current booking situation), to helping us get the estimate to insurance, checking in about drop-off time and instrunctions, time estimate, all the way to the end this was a great experience. Thank you all for the great work you have done.

Adrienne Meyer: Although I hope to not need more body work on my car in the future, if I do, I'm only going to Ross Beakes from now on. The work they did was great, and they took care to touch up spots on the car that weren't under the insurance claim so it would look cohesive. I had dropped it off with a tire pressure warning but didn't think to say anything about it, expecting to fill them when I got it back, and they took care of it without saying anything. In addition, I noticed that a plastic shield that had been making noise when I was driving was also appropriately tightened (which is something I had been asking for help with, without success, from my service shop) even though it wasn't near the part that was being fixed. Finally, the gentlemen (Steve and Josh) who helped me with the estimate and repair talked to me with respect and were super friendly, and as a woman this is not always my experience at a car shop. Jessica Spencer: I had a crazy accident that wasn’t my fault, but my Insurance I was paying $100 a month for wouldn’t cover it. That was a hard lesson to learn. I went with them because they are very close to my house. They were so great working with me on the cost and making repairs affordable for me. They had enterprise pick me up and everything it was just a great experience. I would use again.Service:General repairs maintenance
Hannah Lividini: I was in a head on collision back at the end of October 2022. The VW dealer recommended this facility.My car was towed in.I was receiving frequent updates about until December 2022.In November of 2022 I received a voicemail that we were waiting on specifically a fender panel and some other parts for my vehicle. I expected somewhat of a wait due to the make and model of my car.Later in November I received an update that we were now awaiting my fender panel as the only remaining partOn December 13th I received a call with voicemail that all parts were in and that the car was going to the body shop and then to paint.Next week, same update. This continued until early January.In early January 2023 I received a call that the radiator support was ordered and that the part received was not correct for my vehicle, but that the correct one was being ordered and that the vehicle was still being worked on.No updates came after this.Early February I decided to get the manager involved due to the inconsistencies. I included my insurance provider as well.The manager reassured me this was being looked into, and there was an estimated date within one week to have the vehicle completed.Shortly thereafter I received another call from Gerber stating there were more missing parts that were "ordered incorrectly"; An air tube and and a headlight bracket. They then assured me that said parts were being ordered. On this call I requested my battery be replaced as well since the car had been sitting well past 3 months.On February 28th, I received another call stating there were even more parts not yet received.I once again involved the manager in this. Through our communications, he determined there were even more parts missing or ordered incorrectly and reassured me it was being handled.After asking, I was finally offered compensation of a rental car OR having Gerber pay my deductible. I chose the latter.Finally on March 8th I was contacted via email that my car would be ready the next day. I sent an email and we planned to pick the vehicle up at a set time.I left on my lunch and when I arrive to pick up the vehicle, they attempted to have me sign for the vehicle, but when viewing the care, the cover to the keyhole was missing. We were then told "Oh, a manager was supposed to call you. We cannot get the key fob to connect and have to send it to the dealership". This ordeal took 2 hours of time to resolve.Gerber was able to get my car to the dealership and back and then called a day or so later saying my car was ready for pickup.When I arrived they tried to charge me the deductible. When I got in the vehicle, the radio would not turn on. I had to wait as they fixed the fuse to the radio.Upon attempting to leave again my turn signal was rapidly clicking. I returned and had the worker look at it with me, he looked at the front and I looked at the back. He stated he could not figure out what was wrong, but at this point in time I was trying to return to work as it had taken well over my lunch break. He stated to "just check it from time to time to make sure neither are out"When I parked at work, I looked at the front turn signal. It was out. I had to take it separately to another shop to have the turn signal replaced as at this point in time I was done dealing with Gerber.Days later I received an invoice from the VW dealership indicating that when it was serviced on 3/14 the front headlight "required immediate attention".My battery was never replaced, and the service invoice indicated this would need to be replaced soon.The only good thing I have to say about Gerber currently is that my car is at least now fixed and back to me. They caused an unnecessary amount of strife, and while I understand some parts are not hard to come by, my biggest concern is with the multitude of inconsistencies.I feel like not a single portion of the car was collaborated or consistent. I explained them that my insurance don't pay for my rental and it will be my expense to rent a car so once all the parts are here I will drop my car. They gave me 7 to 10 days to fix my car. But took them almost 4 times the estimate time they gave me.2 weeks after i dropped off my car they didn't even start repair work.when they updated me that body work is done and it's gone for painting which will take 2 to 3 day and 2 weeks later it was still not done. They even promised me that because it took them so long they will pay for my rental. But then said it was not approved when I asked them at pickup. Please do not mislead people about how long to fix the car.I was very disappointed about how long it took them to complete the work. And lying about helping with the rental. I took estimate from 3 different places but decided gerber because I thought it's big place so they will be more professional and keep there promise but disappointed. I think they take more work then they can handle and just keeps car longer and make up some excuse.
Tony Sulfaro: After experiencing collision damage along the left side of my Model 3 I landed on Gerber to complete the repair.The Model 3 has aluminum door panels which makes traditional dent removal very difficult. During my estimate they walked through the repair process (replace door panels, transfer internals, paint match, etc.) and answered all of my questions.Gerber worked with insurance and arranged a rental through Enterprise. After the repair was completed I was able to leave the rental there and drive away in my repaired vehicle. Overall a very painless process.After the repair was completed they detailed the car a bit and then provided care instructions along with having someone walk around the vehicle with me to talk about what was done, how to care for it, etc.My repair timeline:10/9/22 - Accident10/10/22 - Estimate Scheduled11/11/22 - Estimate (~20-30 min visit)01/28/23 - Drop off for repair02/6/23 - Repair completetldr at time of writing:$500 refundable deposit for tesla parts, tesla certified body shop (have software and tooling to complete repairs), longer wait compared to other centers but positive experience nonetheless.Services:Body Trim,Painting

Chris Biddle: These guys do a good job. They know what is what. I can't speak to having a car fully repaired there as it turned out mine was totaled. But they were very helpful explaining what was going on and who I should be contacting for what.
Tonya Goven: The customer service is kind, efficient, and nothing short of professional. They work directly work with Progressive which was very convenient fo getting a quote (not sure about other insurance agencies).
Sam Parham: They repaired a cosmetic dent on the side of my truck bed. The nearest repair assessment was 3 weeks out. Then it took 3-4 weeks to find parts. During the repair, they said that they found a part that was torn and on back-order, and there was no way to see it in the initial assessment (internal to bed, invisible from exterior). This turned my 2-week repair into 5 weeks (they never got the part in those 5 weeks, they welded the tear instead). When I picked it up I noticed I could see the welded tear in my wheel well standing 4 feet away from my truck (see pictures). They had lied that it was impossible to see until after pulling apart my truck. Instead, they had overlooked it. It took another 1.5 weeks to get new bed stickers (needed one on each side, because while under their care a lawn mower shot a rock at one of them, damaging the sticker, but not the bed - why was it outside? How is only sticker damage possible?). I’m very disappointed with my experience here, and I only used this place because the previous experience a few years back was good. I’m just lucky I insisted they try to repair the torn part, because otherwise my truck would still be inoperable sitting outside at Gerber awaiting a part on indefinite back-order and more lawn mower rocks, and they’d still be telling me, “there’s no way we could’ve known that part was broken.”Service:Body Trim
stauder tj: Drove 10 miles to get there at 10:30am on a Monday morning. Service drive thru is a third full but no customers are visible. Walked into the customer sevice entrance and a young woman is there and a young guy is on the phone. Woman asks if she can help and I responded that I wanted to get an estimate to have a part replaced. No other customers are there. She responded that she didn't believe that there was anyone arround for that. I indicated I only needed an estimate, not the repair and she shook her head no. I shrugged my sholders, turned around and walked out. Waste of time ...

Frederick: Had both front axles replaced on a 27 year old Jaguar. Most shops around town won't even touch an old Jaguar. I got referred to these guys by an other shop. Great experience all around. Very knowledgeable, super nice guys despite having some typical struggles that come with old cars. The price was very reasonable and I'm sure they did not charge me for all the time it took. The shop focuses on restorations and custom builds so it's definitely a cut above your average collision repair place.I needed a used panel painted. Most other shops turned away the project because they don't want the liability of dealing with a DIY project. Full Auto was happy to help with all the painting, and enabled me to complete the job for less than half what a colission repair shop quoted me. No, they're not cheap, but why should they be--they're the best!

Rohit Beria: I had a terrible time dealing with this repair shop. They kept feeding wrong information to me through out the proicess. Kept my vehicle at their shop for 25days and did nothing on it. First they informed me that they have ordered the parts and it would arrive in two weeks and thats when I can drop the vehicle. After I dropped the vehicle, they said they would do a full tear down of the vehicle to understand the ecat damages and create an estimate. They didn't submit the estimate for two weeks. I kept checking with them everyday and they kept lying that they are doing the full tear down. Later the insurance declared the vehicle a total loss. I pushed for it to be repaired and then geber tells me that they had not done the full tear down. The whole process took 25 days. Mean-while they refused to hand my car over to me and tild me that the insurance required the vehicle to be with them till the process is over. Never trust Cameron and Erik, the gerber reps tell blatant lieas and someone who doesn't understand the process wil fall for their lies.
Chris Fairman: Erik and Trent at Gerber on Main Street in Ann Arbor have taken great care of my car and me. Unfortunately, my car was hit in a parking lot, and a few months later I hit a deer doing significant damage to the front end. It was a complicated fix with all of the lights, 360 degree cameras, and sensors.They were able to work with insurance and made the paperwork very little for me. They even got me in and out before the timeframe they promised. All of the work was perfect. The paint match, the lines between the panels were all just right, as if nothing ever happened. Z B: I have visited the shop today with (what I thought) was a broken handle on the driver's side of my 2013 Ford Edge. Before I received a quote mechanic came out (my apologies I don’t remember his name) and looked at it. Guess what? The handle was not broken, a screw needed to be replaced and he did it for free. My handle was fixed in 5 minutes. If they told me that I need a new handle (which I would have believed) it would of cost me upwards of $300. I appreciate honest, local business. Michael jason: It took 2 months to get the (front bumper cover for a Kia Soul) part, but once thay did, in and out in a few days.looks good. Nice paint match.
Droxity Music: Great people and great service but the turnaround time is a bit too long. Most insurance rental car coverage lasts for 30 days and the car was in there way longer than that. My car went in on December 1st and I just picked it up on January 16th. Luckily the management there gave me a week of rental car coverage which is something they didn't have to do since they understood my situation. Tammie is great and so is Amanda. They also did a great job on my car. I'd say the biggest issue is after I picked up my car I found evidence of a mice problem. I had a new pack of gum I mistakenly left in there and it seems like at some point mice got in my car and pooped in my compartments and ate my gum. Not a great feeling knowing there were mice in my vehicle. Steven Storm: Where to begin? My wife was in an accident on Nov 27th and we had the vehicle towed to Gerber for (right) front end work and a cracked windshield (about 1in.) They didn’t even look at the vehicle until Dec 10th. We had Alex Loveless assigned to our vehicle who just blatantly lied multiple times throughout the process, was never right on his timelines, and obviously doesn’t like returning phone calls. We were supposed to get the vehicle back Jan 3rd, but somebody at the shop ran over and destroyed our key fob resulting in an extra week of service (how a key fob takes a week to replace is beyond me) Let’s fast forward to today Jan 13th, we finally pick up our vehicle only to find that the 1in crack in the windshield wasn’t even addressed and it has stretched to 10+ inches now directly in the drivers line of sight! After calling the infamous Alex AGAIN, he stated that my wife signed off on the windshield being a “prior” issue unrelated to the crash. Funny thing is, we sent pictures of the windshield to Allstate the day of the accident, and we had the vehicle towed to Gerber so nobody was present during Alex’s “inspection” and thus couldn’t have signed anything. Currently waiting for our copy of Alex’s inspection with my wife’s signature which I’m sure we will never see. Alex also told us that we would have to pay 30% of the cost for the new tire which would only be around $30… yeah try $100, only pleasant experience was the women at the front desk who cut the price of the tire. After running over my key fob, taking a month and a half to fix my vehicle, watching the crack they were supposed to fix expand over 10inches while they had the vehicle, you’d think they’d feel slightly at fault and apologetic but nope! Maurice Pogue (Phoenix RISING): Got in a car accident about 2 years ago. My poor Genesis had its driver side door crushed in.Not only did they restore everything like new, while they had my car, they touched up other areas of the vehicle. You know, little scratches and things that happen to the paint job over time that are simply unavoidable.I asked them to change the decal on the rear of my vehicle from the Hyundai "H" to the Wayne to Genesis logo, since mine is a 2015, and they didn't start putting a winged logos on this model front wheel 2016. Gerber slapped me on there for me no problem.I don't recommend getting into a car accident, but if you have a late model baby like I do and she's injured, I recommend taking your vehicle to Gerber, even if they're an hour away!

Deborah Marcum: Took our show car to the one on Jackson Ave, what a mistake! Screwed up a decal that they put on wrong in the first place, we had to buy another decal and they ripped it saying it sat to long on a shelf, when we called the company, very reputable, that we bought the decal from they said all decals are print to order. Now we are on our 3rd $100 decal and let me assure you, they will not be touching it. The life time warranty on the first one has cost us double. Stay away from this company, poor ethics!!!

Last year I went to their new store on Industrial to buy some paint for a dash panel I made for my boat, flat fiberglass 30 inches x 12 inches. They quoted me paint, reducers, thinners, etc. for over $300. I told the no, I'd just paint it with Duple-Color spray can instead and I walked out. And they were smiling and smug, almost laughing at me when I walked out. It wasn't that I couldn't afford it, just thought it was ridiculous. Will never go back.

Lavar Green-Jackson: Unfortunately my experience at this establishment was not very good. I brought my car here to be repaired and was constantly told different dates when my car would be ready, however, it was never ready on that date and I was not notified. Evan Dowling was assisting me and he was somewhat helpful but I aslways had to reach out via email and/or by phone and 8/10 times I did not receive a reply. Leading me to have to call the shop instead of his direct line. Fortunately, Curt was able to help me out and get my car returned, even though it took more time than expected. I completely understand delays, I know there's a lot of factors that go into repairing a vehicle. However, I think the least that could be done is to let the customer know that. They did a fairly good job on my car but the customer service was pretty bad, which is why I'm giving them a 2/5.
Brent George: Amazing service, 6 out of 5 stars. When I was in a car crash, I went to four different shops to get quotes. This was the only shop that described my quote in detail and talked about what unexpected costs may occur that were not visible from the initial inspection. They were also sensitive to the fact that I was paying out of pocket and gave the most affordable quote, did an impeccable repair job, AND came in $400 under budget. They were always the first to call me, my insurance company would call me 2-4 hours after the shop had. A few months later someone backed into my front bumper. I called about a specific car that I was planning to purchase as soon as possible and was told they had it then put on hold and told they sold it just minutes before I called, bummed out but I moved on. My father called them about a different car they advertised and they said that one was sold but offered the previous car I had called about to him. Chalking it up to simple ageism and I still really liking that car, we scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning and as we were running late the next day we called to let them know and they told us they had sold the car just 20 minutes before. If we had not been late and called ourselves we would have driven all the way out to Ann Arbor for nothing and they did nothing to call to say the car was already sold. Bad customer service horrible professionalism and terrible business practices all around, I will never do business with this place ever again.
Socio FPV: Sold me Lemon.Service Worked on 2019 Silverado for 3 months. Gave it back even more broken than when dropped off.Dog hair from jacket on loaner vehicles is their excuse to not work on it anymore . Their body shop also committed insurance fruad on my previous truck and fired their Previous Body Shop Manager over it .Go to any other dealership. This place has no qualified techs and is very shady . They also constantly belittle the customers from Ann Arbor.
Stephen Ewing: Kendall Cook was our service adviser, and she did a great job keeping us up to date on the repair status and worked very well with our insurance company to make sure everything was covered. The loaner process was easy and efficient. Our repair was completed beautifully, would highly recommend Suburban Collision for repair work.
