Vyas Shenoy: I would give a 2 star only because mixologist was complaining about how busy it was and did not want to check what customers are asking when it comes house favorite cocktails. “Sorry we are busy to help you with it” was the response.Ambience was good.

anusha chanda: I went yesterday with my friends we sat by the bar. The bartender in red outfit greeted us so well and she gave recommendations for drinks. The drink menu is extensive and the blueberry lemon vodka shots we had were amazing! She definitely took extra effort and was really nice.I read the other comments where the service was bad but maybe they were trained on that now. They treated us very nicely and loved the drinks and ambience!
Shane Miller: I wandered in off the street, and I really just enjoyed the vibe and my bartender, Jordan, was probably the most pleasant person I’ve met in awhile, even though they were absolutely slammed. I would totally recommend this place if you want some more adult than a typical undergrad bar.

Went with a couple friends and we asked for more water a couple times and each time it took them at least 15 minutes just to come fill up our glasses with a pitcher. Drinks were good, and our server was friendly, but when it’s busy it can take a long time just to order. Having more staff working during busy times would definitely solve this issue because otherwise I had a decent experience!

Todays Present: I loved all the options for deliciously crafted beverages here. The waitress provided excellent recommendations based on what we liked to drink. The Negroni was perfect - slightly bitter, but otherwise smooth. The seating was unconventional yet comfortable. And the decor is lovely. When you walk in, you feel transported. I’d totally return and recommend.

I'm 32 years old and have been to many around the world including places like New Zealand and the carribbean to name a few. This place had some of the rudest servers I have ever met. I hope anyone else that goes here has a better experience but I will most likely not be back. I may give it one more shot since I know people have bad days but I just can't believe the service I received. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Becky B: My friends and I got kicked out because we were “throwing up in the bathroom” while literally on stage singing karaoke. Bouncers were super aggressive towards male in our group and were trying to provoke an altercation. Wouldn’t even let us get our stuff before physically pushing us out. Teeny men letting the small amount of authority they have go directly to their head. Bartender in the lounge area slayed tho #purrrr
Ann Arbor Local: Nick, Extremely aggressive manager told my friend and i he would be off at 2 am to fight us. He took one person's word stating my friend was racist even though we are regulars and come here often never to bother anyone but to sing karaoke. He then kicked 4 women out for literally no reason because he wanted to feel some sort of value within his aggression. If you want to pay a cover and be mindlessly kicked out, here's your guy, take a look!
Stellar Books: Nick, one of the bouncers was very unprofessional yelling profanities at our group of ladies when he surely had us mistaken for someone else. Amazing to see the head of security cause so many issues for this establishment. :(
Sarah: Hands down my favorite bar in Ann Arbor. On Friday there was a group of guys being weird to us and other girls and Nick escorted them out. Nick always has our back and is one of the reasons we love going to circ! Everyone should have someone like Nick on their staff — he always makes us feel welcome and safe.

Lindsey: My friends and I have been going to Circ for awhile now. The food is pretty decent. The drinks are way too overpriced and small, though. the music the play is weird and way too loud for a Wednesday night at 5 pm. I know that makes me sound old, but it really is just crazy stupid loud. Also the circ idol karaoke competition is rigged. I’ve gone and watched a couple times, and the winners are always friends of the djs or people he coaches as a singer.

Cruel Streak: One security guy at this place has some complex because he is 5'2''. It happened already multiple times that this person would just jump on the stage to pull me and another male friend away from the stage because our girlfriends were about to sing a song with us and he decided he prefers our girlfriends to perform without us. Then he keeps roaming around accusing people of putting their empty beer bottles or cocktails on tables on the wrong side of the bar. This joker literally grabbed a drink that a random person left somewhere in the bar and walked up to me on the dance floor to aggressively ask me whether that was mine. Probably to order me to bring it to the bar.

They were able to hold our 200+ guests and everything planned went so smoothly. I highly recommend The Circ Bar to host your parties - we will definitely be returning to them :)

Joyce Patterson: Come for the great music, but if you're hoping to get your drink on, don't plan to stay long. The bar is packed, but so many people without a drink! There are no more servers, there's a line that the bartenders don't respect. So you wait long, get mad, and want to start fights. The bartenders are overwhelmed, and even yell at the guests! I was ready to spend, but could only get 3 drinks 2 hours.

Explained that they could use any glass, like the the ones I could visibly see, but was told to **** off by the bartender. I moved to the other side of the bar, spoke to the manager, they responded with excuses. The other 3 drinks were free, however time and respect are worth more to me. I'm extremely disappointed. I've never been treated this way at a bar.The bartender was the only guy with a beard. Get rid of him. Or at least tell him to be a man and make eye contact when he uses that type of language.

Max Monegan: Great patio & bar. Connected to the pizza place next door. Decently heated even when it's chilly. Good drinks. The tablets are a little wonky to work with, and both staff and customers didn't seem to love them. Trivia night was fun!
Mitchell Davidson: Drinks are fairly good and reasonably priced (I recommend the amaretto sour). Solid option for college students who don't want the club-like atmosphere of Rick's and Skeeps. Also, a great choice for GameDay!

However, the staff, mainly the bouncers are the most disrespectful, unprofessional, and physical group of people I’ve ever come across in a bar. I have seen their bouncers physically confront people on multiple occasions and get, no less than what I would call, violent. On women mind you. Not the kind of business I want to support.

The bouncers are always on some weird power trip - they will cut friend groups in half in line, question real IDs heavily, and just kinda mad dog people in general. cover is also super inconsistent (ranging from 5-20 dollars at any given time/night)

Emily Weaver: Garage bar, infamously known as "Gar Bar," is one of the most obnoxious, inconsiderate establishments in Ann Arbor. Not only do they BLAST music every night of the week past 2 am (even when calling them to politely ask to turn down the music and bass that's shaking my window panes), but they play atrocious music as well. In fact, "What Does the Fox Say" is playing right now.. now imagine it on a Monday night at midnight with bass that I didn't even know the song had. Have some respect and turn down the music when multiple people call and ask or at least play decent music.

Noah Zimmerman: During my time as a student, I went to Ashley’s thrice: once when I couldn’t get into Charley’s trivia, once was just for drinks, and another for trivia. Each time, I had an excellent time (I was with friends of course).Their selection of beer combined with the always cheery attitude of their service makes it quite the unique and wonderful time. If it is Fall (and they have the drink), ai highly recommend the “Caramel Apple Mule,” which is a not too sweet, not too strong, and just right drink.Trivia is also great here! Mitchell Davidson: Update in response to the reply from the owner: I haven't went back since the last incident with a bartender being attacked by a patron. I'm a college student, so usually my friends would try to drag me here. Rather than questioning the life choices of your reviewers, consider improving your security detail and take a tip from Rick's and have some ownership over your establishment's line...or don't, but doing so would help your reputation.--Original review: One of my least favorite bar/clubs in Ann Arbor. Inconsistent drinks, rude staff, poor line management, and lots of fights. My most momeorable experience was a couple months ago when I watched one particularly angry patron vault over the bar upstairs to assault the bartender. Pretty much summed up my other similar experiences at Skeeps as well. Granted, I mainly went here on Friday/Saturday nights, so I can't speak to the atmosphere during the early evening/during GameDay. If you are looking for a better/safer atmosphere try Rick's, Live, or most places on Main St.

Owen Offerle: Pour excuse for a student bar. Would think they would at least have the interest of students in mind. Deals are non existent and pack people in like sardines to get your cover fee. Only possible chance to enjoy yourself is to be obliterated squeezing trough the mass of people.

Jenna Bloomquist: This is an atmosphere that will surround you with college kids with fake IDs and younger 20s. They have great music and decent service for drinks. There was a night where two girls were passed out in a bathroom stall together, the manager took appropriate action immediately to make sure the girls was safe.
Don Weismiller: The only place in town these entitled students don't get their way. I love coming here! It's a wholesome place in a town full of gimmicks and fake people.

FORREALNEWS: I was treated probably the worst I have been at any bar last night and this has happened repeatedly. Regardless of the employees personal bias the owner said it's fine if I come years ago since I'm a former employee. I was discriminated against and they refused to serve me their posted specials for the night. They refused to make me long islands they have $3 long islands and he told me I could only get beers for $5 and shots for $6. He said I have to leave at 9pm. Then the employees are telling me to go to HopCat instead when I leave and they're refusing to serve me after I left to get more cash. I have my serve safe alcohol certification and the only way they can refuse me is if I'm clearly intoxicated after 1 beer that's not the case.
Madeleine Sosa: Logistical knowledge here is few and far between. Lost my wallet on my birthday, then got a DM on Instagram saying they were holding it for me. When I show up, not a single person has a clue where it is and the manager was absolutely no help either.
