RED YOGA: what do users think?
Masiha Khan: The best studio I’ve been to. Always a mood booster to sweat my butt off and the community is special. Special features like infrared lighting and hot classes make this a studio I look forward to practicing at for a long time. All skill levels are welcome - a transformation awaits those who stick to it!
Elise Wheelock: This studio has changed my life. The teachers are beyond incredible and their individual personalities shine in their classes. You can find whatever you’re looking for: motivation and hype or calming and restoration. The teachers pour themselves into everything they do and have helped me become someone to whom fitness is a passion when it’s never been before.I’d like to specifically shout out Lauren, Emily, Sandra, and Pavel for helping me grow, feel safe and supported when I make mistakes, and take me from someone who didn’t know what a warrior pose was to someone who cares about yoga. I truly started from the very beginning and will always find more ways to grow.
David Van Dijcke: Class was insanely packed to a point that seemed hardly legal, let alone comfortable. Teacher taught maybe half of the time and the rest was "free flow". The flows she did teach were chaotic and made no sense, as if she'd taken a bunch of random poses and stitched them together like a Frankenstein monster. Loud random "feel-good" music playing over the hardly audible teacher. Avoid at all costs if you are looking for actual yoga. Hands down worst class I've ever attended.
Reanna Orzechowski: I LOVE Red yoga studio. The studio is hot with dim lights and a welcoming environment. The teachers are super nice!! I love their flow classes. The flows are very creative and I enjoy the fun music playing! I also really like the spirituality that each teacher adds in. I would highly recommend this ann arbor studio. My only one warning is that sometimes the classes go a little bit overtime so you have to be aware of that when you schedule your time.
Tanya Osorio-Cruz: I love this place so much. I’m getting back into yoga since taking around 5 years off and I’ve fallen in love all over again. Definitely check out the class descriptions because they’re not all great for beginners, but every single teacher I’ve talked to so far is so sweet and open and willing to help. I also love the sense of community at this studio.Updated review: Just moved back to Ann Arbor and was ready to head back to my favorite studio but it seems like there’s been a lot of changes under new ownership. No more XXX, Yinyasa, free meditation or late night classes, drop in price went up and now there’s a cycling class?! No thanks 😩 So annoyed I have to find a new studio in Ann Arbor!
Kinda May: My first experience was wonderful! The energy is spot on! Love the flow!
Michelle Ouimet: Great and clean studio with both changing areas and a shower!Red hot 26 is a spin on bikram 26 and 2, for those of you missing the hot room definitely come check out Red Yoga!Instructor is great and accommodating! This class is great for ALL levels, from beginners to advanced!
Elizabeth Henderson: Pavel is a wonderful guide. The studio is welcoming, clean, and warm ☀️I love it here. Feels like home Away from home
Shelley Raymond: I appreciate that RED has a variety of classes and a variety of top notch teachers. Some fast paced, some meditative. There is something for everyone. After 6 years of practicing with Pavel, I can say that sometimes his classes feel fairly easy and sometimes they are difficult. Even after the easy classes, I am amazed at how thoroughly every muscle group has been worked and how great I feel. I’m also amazed that no matter how difficult the class, being guided through effective warm-ups means that I rarely (if ever) experience sore muscles afterwards. Pavel is great at explaining the poses, the reason for the poses and where one should feel the stretch.
Kelly McGuckin: Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed with my class and the facility itself. Most people end up just changing in front because of inadequate space, which is awkward since the front windows face Liberty. They didn't know the password to their Wifi, and were unprepared when I asked to connect to it. The Hot 26 class wasn't really a workout at all, and the instructor gave little to no tips or assistance. The class also was not as described, and the room was barely warm.
David Johnson: I did a 70 mile bike ride about a week ago, a distance I've not been able to do for about the last two decades due to neck and back pain. But after three months of Red Yoga I can ride pain free. Prior to yoga, I was in pain with a ride only 5-10 miles long. Thanks for making a real difference in my life with your fantastic studio, teachers, and community. I find the energy and music super helpful in keeping me motivated. And, as a beginner it's nice feeling so welcome.
Carina Böttcher: I joined this Yoga Studio in autum last year. Ever since they are doing an outstanding job in keeping you safe while enjoying in studio hot yoga classes (wear masks, own cubicle style yoga places separated by clear plastic foils, etc.).The diversity and quality of the classes is great. I think everyone can find their preferred way of yoga here and also all of the instructors are very nice, friendly and provide detailed instructions which are easy to follow during the yoga flows.every once in a while the owner plays a gong for end if class meditation. This was a really unique experience for me and I highly recommend you check this out. Its great!
Y.F. Mei: It’s more like a fitness studio more than a yoga studio...can’t imagine that one of the teachers use hip hop music during the class...and air is not circulate at all...not my type for yoga
Aljoharah Alfayez: I'm a regular at this studio and took the teacher training this winter, it's the best yoga studio and teacher training, I highly recommend it. The instructors are the best, the community is incredible and the heated room makes such a positive difference too.
Alex Fauer: Overall vibe feels very competitive instead of being mindful and welcoming to all. If you are new to yoga or don't attend regularly it may be difficult because there is not a lot of explanation of poses or alignments. Can be difficult to keep up when it's hard to see the rest of the room (infrared light). $4 rental fee for mats when many other studios offer them for free.-
Nour Bissada: CFY AA closed down and I was looking for a similar studio to practice at. I love this studio, best place to practice hot vinyasa in AA.
Ian Stirton: Great studio. The people there make a real effort to build a community. Varying levels of difficulty depending on the teacher or the class type. Seems like the teachers really bring it when they teach. Great place to stretch your hammies and turn your brain off and tune into your inner world. 5 stars.
Nicole: YTT 200 hour at Red Yoga was an amazing experience. I have been practicing yoga for well over 10 years and have practiced at several studios; following my first hot vinyasa class, I was hooked. I chose Red for their community atmosphere, challenging vinyasa classes, and their commitment to exploring the philosophy and roots of yoga as more than just a "work out." Most teachers at the studio have some role in teaching the students, giving us a wide range of knowledge to take with us on our journey. If you chose Red for your 200 hour YTT, just know that it's more than just the physical yoga poses - it's about building a foundation of mindfulness, meditation, community and way of life.
Mikako Martin: I initially signed up for teacher training at Red to simply learn more about Yoga however the experience involved so much more than just that. Teacher training taught me to really embrace all aspects of yoga, not just the physical. It really is ‘life training’ in a way because all the lessons I learned in YTT were so applicable in my everyday life as well as on my mat. I was able to strengthen many relationships in my life, including the one I have with myself. Also, I could have never anticipated finding such a beautiful and warm community that is RED! By having such incredible teachers lead the group I always felt like I was in amazing hands and had someone I could comfortably go to when I needed help. Each teacher was so different which gave me a plethora of perspectives on each topic we covered. Most importantly, I felt pushed out of my comfort zone yet heavily supported every single step of the way. One of the best decisions I have ever made - I would recommend YTT to anyone who is interested because it’s for everyone.
sydney goodwin: I am completely in love with this place, I have been struggling with anxiety for so long and this is my safe haven. The teachers are amazing there is so much energy all around. Heidi and Kelli are amazing they really get you to let go of whatever you are holding onto. I also did the Yoga teacher training there as well and it helped me with not only to have a better practice but I ended up reflecting on myself, such an amazing journey. This community is so welcoming and one of a kind. I truly don't know what I would do without them.
Jaclynn Spryshak: Incredible. As a regular here and recent Red YTT graduate, I can say that I was pushed beyond what I thought I could ever do in each class and throughout the training. Each teacher here is encouraged to be an individual in their careers and their classes, and that really shows in the quality of instruction here. The YTT was fast and furious - I would *highly* recommend the Intensive as a second training, but if you're coming in without prior experience (as with any intensive), know that it moves very fast and you will need to commit a lot of time to mastering the material. However, I saw each trainee grow significantly during our month together, and it was a powerful, enriching experience for all of us. You will redefine what "possible" means for you.Beautiful teachers here of every walk of life, willing to meet you where you're at and push you (with love!) to where you want to go. Amazing community of students, from UM and of all ages and levels, who show up ready to grow alongside you. Also, there are free mints at the front desk so you really can't lose :D

Ita Yoga Studio {Infrared Heated Yoga}: what do users think?
Maryann Makkonen: I am in LOVE with Ita Yoga studio. It is more than a place to workout. This is my happy place. I can't emphasize enough the peace and joy being part of this community gives me. Every instructor is approachable, engaged, kind and authentic and members are friendly and respectful as well. Always a safe, warm and inviting space to treat myself to self care.
Anna Schwartz: I am loving this studio! It has such great energy. I’ve taken the slow flow classes and I feel cared for while also being challenged. Ita gives you time to really sink into the poses and offers great reminders to help you get the most out of each asana. So grateful to have found this space.
Angie S: If I could add more stars, I would. I told my friend yesterday that I got back from one of the best yoga studios in Ann Arbor and I felt so peaceful and calm. I love yoga with Ita’s direction. She is so skilled in her craft and I can’t recommend highly enough. I’m newer to the studio so am unable to comment on other instructors. I hope to take some of their sessions soon.
Jamie Renken: Ita's classes are always challenging, calm, restorative, and invigorating all at the same time! I always feel like I'm home in the studio. 🙏🏼
Holli Neeb: I have never felt so comfortable in my skin. Ita is a warm environment, not just because it’s heated, because the staff and clients are so kind. Great diversity and I feel so much better after every practice.
Amy Rosewarne: Great instructor!
Mark Koesel: Because “10” is similar in appearance to “Io”, the fourth moon of Jupiter. And “Jupiter” pronounced backwards is “Reti puj”, which sounds like “Ready Pudge?”. And, while I don’t actually utter these words, technically, I suspect that in another universe there’s a version of me who is overweight, and calls themself (affectionately, you know, like might call yourself “dummy” if you ran into the sliding door at the supermarket before it opened) “Pudge”. So, by the third rule of the fourth dimension, cross your T’s, carry the 1, repeat the hidden incantation on the magic scroll hidden under the floorboard in “Mandy’s spot” n the studio, that equals “10”.
Sara Thorne: I’ve taken yoga classes for years in many cities. Ita Yoga is my favorite studio by far!
Kristal Reyes: This place is amazing!!! Ita is wonderful. This studio is a place of healing. Staff is great and the environment is welcoming. Thanks for all that you do!
Odette Petrini: The teacher was fabulous. The room wasn't too hot, but don't overdress. My only complaint is the volume of the music. I was astonished at how loud it was. I found it very nerve jangling. I could hear the teacher's voice over the music which was very soothing. I could see that she was a great teacher. I loved the Vinyasa moves and the flow she created. She is obviously very knowledgable. However, I won't go there again because the music is too loud. I know they have to do that because they want to drown out the sounds in the mall around their studio. I go to yoga to be calmed in mind and body but that noise increased my stress level. I had to take a long walk after to clear my head. However, ,my friend has been going there for years and LOVES it. She is not at all bothered by the volume. So.. this is just a personal preference. Maybe I should wear ear plugs.
colleen smyth: Beautiful space and community - I had a great practice!
Citadel Keys: Horrible business practices.
Hallie Levine: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismThis is a great yoga studio, I have been going here for 8 years. Always a good class, consistent instruction and peaceful atmosphere.
A L: Positive:QualityI was able to attend a class during traveling for a work trip. I attended an outdoor class in Gallup Park with Mandy. Beautiful setting in the park. She was an amazing instructor. Great, calming voice - pure perfection. Super welcoming to both beginners and new students from out of town. I would HIGHLY recommend.
Colin Walker: I did the outdoor yoga and mimosas class and it was one of the best times I have had in a very long time. I’m so intimidated by yoga because I’m not flexible at all but it was very relaxing and just a really beautiful experience. They had live instrumentals and a teacher leading us. Everyone seemed very non judgmental. I also met Ita and she was really welcoming and sweet. I highly recommend giving the classes a shot.
Camille Thomas: Beautiful studio, great (knowledgeable) instruction
Gene Liddicoat: Excellent practice, comfortable atmosphere, knowledgeable instructors. Good for the mind, body & soul. Excellent source of pain relief. Love this place ❤️
Lisa McClear: Knowledgeable, kind instructors, beautiful space, and welcoming vibe. Heated to 90 degrees so your body gets nice and warm but you don’t feel like death is imminent, lol.Fun, creative flows accompanied by great playlists. My happy place. 🤗
MW Butler: The studio is warm but not too hot. The wood floors are always clean. The instructors are knowledge and helpful. The owner is very nice, wonderful customer service.
Y SS: とてもきれいなスタジオです。ステキな雰囲気の中でヨガを楽しめます。先生が皆んな優しく指導してくれます。初心者コースもあります。
Elizabeth Poisson: I wish everyone could meet a yoga teacher like Ita! All of the teachers here are great, but Ita is by far my favorite. It's so refreshing to join a studio that is welcoming and encouraging. The teachers here go beyond just taking you through a sequence of poses. They have an educated understanding of the physical body and integrate this knowledge into the practice of yoga. I always leave class feeling far better than when I first stepped on my mat (which unfortunately is not true of all yoga studios I have practiced at). I also love that they teach different styles of yoga, so you can find a class and pace that is right for you!

aUM Yoga: what do users think?
Sabrina Lanker: Probably my favorite yoga studio I’ve been to in the area. This studio is fun, welcoming, and a great workout! Classes can range from easy to super sweaty, and I always feel great after I leave. Love this place!
Claire Yang: I have recently tried yoga and have enjoyed taking classes at Aum Yoga. While being a beginner, I feel included while practicing yoga as everyone has different skill experience with yoga. Overall the staff and community is friendly and supportive as you are able to practice yoga while also being challenged and practice different yoga techniques and poses!
Dianne K.: I have done both yoga and pole classes at this studio. I like that yoga classes are a good balance of challenging yet still approachable. My only complaint is that the temperature can range from pretty chilly to really hot so I recommend wearing layers to adjust.
Maeve Lucas: Out of all the yoga studios I have tried in Ann Arbor, AUM is by far my favorite. The environment is safe and peaceful and the instructors are easy to follow. They create such a calm atmosphere (but definitely give you a work out)! The flexibility (virtual or in-person) and diverse schedule makes it very accommodating for students as well! I also love the natural lighting and location of the studio.
Gabby DeMott: I took a long break from yoga and was nervous to get back into it, especially in a studio setting, but I have had nothing but positive experiences since starting back up at aUM. The environment is incredibly positive, the instructors are talented, and there is a wide range of classes offered. I definitely recommend, even if you’re out of practice or completely new, this is a great place!
Olivia Graham: This place has genuinely become my 2nd home. I’m going on 2 years of practicing here and I’ll keep coming back. I started with Vinyasa 1 and now religiously go to Vinyasa 3. Jess’s classes are always a good sweat. VinYin with Chelsea is my favorite for winding down because it’s the perfect combo of flow and stretch. Overall, my favorite thing is I always know what to expect, but never stop learning. Despite being a competitive dancer growing up, I feel stronger and more flexible now than I did then.
Natasha Bair: I've taken their yoga classes and let me tell you!!!!! I use to hate yoga, but it's so fun and challenging now. I've really enjoyed all of the instructors and the calming atmosphere.
Nomi Rosen: Love this studio! Great range of classes for all skill levels. I've been coming for over 6 months now almost every day. I love Jessie's Vin 3, especially if you want an extra challenge.
Soojin Lee: When I moved into the Ann Arbor area about a year ago, I was on the hunt for some low impact+strengthening exercise. I’d never really enjoyed yoga before, but the wonderful team at aUM Yoga has made me a convert! They do primarily serve the University of Michigan community, so you need to be ok with taking class with college students…but I’m totally fine being one of the few older townies amongst the 20-somethings! The teachers are welcoming, I’ve never felt out of place (in fact, they were greeting me by name by my 2nd or 3rd class!). I also appreciate that the teachers are always receptive to feedback - and even willing to stay after class to help folks with any poses or answer questions. The general vibe is friendly, open, positive, supportive, and empowering, which is really what keeps me coming back. You feel good all around, not just physically, when you leave class.Jessie, Chelsea, Annella, and Helena are instructors I’ve taken from the most often, and they all have been very knowledgeable and wonderful to learn from. Each obviously has their own style (each is aspirational for me!), but they clearly are on the same page philosophically, share best practices, and genuinely enjoy each other which is lovely to see. They are all deeply invested in the practice of yoga as well as the students in their classes.I enjoy the music (teacher’s choice but generally not stereotypically “yoga”-y good stuff with a beat), the temperature (warm but not hot), and the space (the studio does have permanently installed poles since it’s a yoga & pole studio - but I kind of enjoy how they establish lines and spacing for our mats). They don't do hands-on corrections (which is actually COVID-friendly); their approach is to talk you step by step through the poses and flows as well as demonstrating themselves. Vinyasa 1 was a great place to start as a beginner - shorter, more straightforward flows (usually 2 that you run through 3 times), a bit slower (though interesting enough for more advanced yogis to enjoy and add challenge as they see fit). Vinyasa 2 is a step up because the flows are longer and a bit more complex, have even more room for adding challenge based on personal choice, and give the class opportunity to do one more run of the flow on your own time and pacing. They have a whole range of pole dancing classes as well, which I’m trying to screw up the courage to get into, and offer some interesting yoga teacher trainings and retreats. As someone with a dance background, I’ve really loved the interesting, varied flows that the teachers put together - I would actually describe some of them as similar to dance combinations! And as one who is not so fond of balances and inversions, they don’t include a whole lot into the usual flows, and when they are, I don’t feel pressure to take those on if I don’t feel it. I’ve found that over the year, I’ve learned the poses and correct technique pretty organically, and I’ve DEFINITELY felt the changes in my body. After 2 babies, I feel like I’m starting to get some core muscles back! And the mental/emotional benefits have been great as well. They have nice new client offers - discounted 1st class or one month unlimited classes. I started with class packs but quickly shifted to unlimited classes - and have enjoyed dropping in whenever I have the time. Though you need to pre-register for classes, I’ve never had problems getting into classes I’ve been interested in. Perhaps this is due to a post-COVID slowdown, but this has been the case even as folks have been more out and about. So - clearly, I’m a fan of aUM Yoga! I’d highly recommend anyone - novices and experts, students and townies - check out this warm community.
Sasha Hill: Jessie is a really great instructor and the pace of the sessions are incredible. The atmosphere is nice and encourages pushing to new limits
Isabel Schneider: aUM yoga is great! I took the beginner VinYin with Lillian and she was great! It was an easy flow to catch on to for beginners and I really enjoyed her class. I will definitely be going back in the future.
Claire Buckley: Very good environment for both beginners and well practiced yogis!
Bria Graham: I can't stress enough how much I love this studio! I mostly take yoga classes. They are challenging, it's nice to get a little variation, depending on which instructor you get, and the studio is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly, the place is really clean and comfortable and get ready to SWEAT!
Samantha Howden: The environment, faculty, and space are overwhelmingly supportive and welcoming. As a beginner, I was nervous about not being able to keep up, but the pace of the class is just fast enough to provide momentum for your flow while not feeling stressful. Yoga is a really beneficial way of recentering and connecting with yourself, especially when done with aUM Yoga.
Joe Hertler: Made a recent move to Ann Arbor - and after making a post on Instagram asking for yoga studio referrals, it was made clear to me that Aum Yoga was the place to check out.I travel a lot for a living and have been to quite a few yoga studios since I started practicing a little over a year ago. Aum yoga easily stands with the best of them! Jessie, the teacher and owner, is super pro. Engaged, enthusiastic, and very clear. She’s clearly someone who has funneled a lifetime of experience and passion into what has become a thriving business. She thanked everyone by their first names upon the class’s conclusion. Was an impressive (and appreciated) touch.I’ve stumbled into many big city (and big money) studios, often beautifully lavish with a particular zen sterility. But you can kinda tell when there’s a real community behind a local yoga business - and a healthy community starts with great leadership!People were super friendly, too. Yoga studios can be a bit cliquey sometimes - and it’s always a nice feeling to be welcomed.Anyhow, I’m relatively new to Yoga, but I’m excited to begin a new chapter in Ann Arbor. Just signed up for a month unlimited and am looking forward to advancing my practice and making some new friends!More info:The class was heated to about 80-85 degrees. I usually prefer 90-98, personally. Though, I was told that they turn down the heat when a pole class follows a yoga class, but otherwise most of classes are heated. If you’re looking for a 103 bikram, you’ll probably wanna check out someplace else. The room was spacious, super clean, and overlooks downtown. Vinyasas were instructed/lead for about 2/3rds of the set, with the final third being free form. Some core work and meditation followed the final vinyasa.Highly recommending Aum Yoga!
Christopher White: I am so lucky to have found aUM Yoga! This studio is amazing. Jessie, Chelsea, and all the other instructors are so welcoming, and are very passionate about what they do. The studio is always clean and is a positive environment in which to practice. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate and call aUM their home. I highly recommend aUM for a great place to practice, and for Yoga Teacher Training. I was fortunate enough to complete the program they offered this past fall. It was an amazing and invaluable experience!
Stephanie Taylor: These people...this space....the practice will change your world! This studio makes the world a little brighter, stronger, and calmer. You will love it
Emily Presley: Jessie L. is a fantastic teacher. I have been to many yoga classes and studios in the last decade and I'd put her up there in the top 3 yoga instructors I've experienced. She is knowledgeable, upbeat and creative. I was surprised by the flow she came up with in class, and it kept me engaged and interested. I am picky about what I recommend but I'd definitely recommend this place. :)
Lauren Meyers: Positive:Professionalism,QualityAmazing experience. Staff is super friendly, I will definitely go back and take another class. Definitely recommend to everyone.
HJ Lee: Sell used, USED mats for original price. When I got there, they said I can’t take the class unless I have a mat and made me buy their used mat for $40. If there are not providing mats for rental because of covid, why would they sell them. They should have put instructions/requirement clearly on their website. Mat smells so bad and I have been getting these allergic reaction all over my body whenever I tried to use it. Going to throw it out. Terrible. Do not recommend.
Gunnar Lundteigen: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThe staff is awesome! The staff is extremely welcoming and the classes are fun! I started getting into yoga this year and I’m really excited to continue at aUM!

A2 Yoga: what do users think?
Erin McKenna: I highly recommend prenatal yoga. Both Ana and Juliana are great instructors. The classes have helped love and trust my changing, pregnant body!
Constance Colthorp: A true and natural yoga space. I feel both fortified and challenged physically when I leave, in the most nurturing and centering way. The teachers are OUTSTANDING, kind, and aspirational for ANY level -- beginning or expert yogi. A2Yoga is like a vacation for my body and should each time I'm here.
Leah: This independently owned yoga studio is true Nirvana. Ana, the founder, is an exceptional teacher. The studio is calm and welcoming. The classes are well balanced and easy to modify for your level of experience. I am always recommending this studio to friends. It is one of the more affordable studios I have found in Ann Arbor. Join one class to see for yourself, I’m sure you will be back.
Constance M Colthorp Amrine: One of the gentlest and kindest yet most challenging strength workouts I’ve done. And I mean this yoga space in particular. Healing energy. Highly knowledgeable teachers and owner with Ana Hough, Juliana, and team. Welcoming space. Very chill atmosphere. Levels range from expert to beginner all in the same class. I look forward to going and my weeks always go better when I do.
Keith LaSalle: Great!
Sarah DeFlon: Super fun to practice outside!
Thomas Koch: I love A2 yoga they are a home away from home! They have a wonderful staff and all classes they offer are great!
Eric Guerin: I just purchased a yoga mat but great service and friendly staff!

Mota Thai Yoga: what do users think?
Fadilat Olasupo: My experience with the owner of Mota Thai Yoga was beyond disappointing. I contacted them to inquire about a refund for classes I had previously purchased, and in response, the owner, Luiz, proceeded to yell at me over the phone before abruptly banning me and blocking my number without a reason. After the call, I decided to confront the owner in-person. He stated that he felt a need to "protect" his studio and members, which implies that I wasn't worth protecting despite attending a few classes. Although he eventually agreed to issue a credit for the “misunderstanding,” the owner did not offer any apology for his unprofessional behavior.I was left feeling belittled and disrespected, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this studio to anyone. It's crucial that people understand that the owner appears to selectively choose who he values and wishes to "protect," which is unacceptable. A simple “no refunds accepted” would have sufficed, but for some reason I was treated like scum. While I did have positive experiences with certain instructors, like Yael and Dani G, the owner's actions has left a bitter aftertaste that taints my perception of the studio as a whole. In my opinion, businesses should prioritize professionalism and customer service, and Mota Thai Yoga failed to meet these expectations.Being a Black woman, I was deeply concerned about this situation, as it appeared to be discriminatory. It's vital for businesses to treat every customer with respect and fairness, irrespective of their ethnicity or race. It's disheartening to observe numerous positive reviews, but my personal experience was incredibly terrible.
Tim Woods: Some of the best staffing for this yoga studio and is real nice inside . This place is on the small side and can get full of people so its a good idea to make your reservation. The staff always accomodates their patron with assistance to a spot on the floor. Check this one out! It's worth a try. It hot in here year round , up to 90 degrees so dress accordingly.
T TOMASI: This Unique studio has something for everyone (and free parking). Saturday morning yoga is always on my schedule, but they have classes every day! Most hot classes are done on your mat and towels are recommended. But there are other classes that use a set of “silk” fabric hanging from the ceiling to assist and target certain poses💪🏽Most of all it is FUN (ex:Friday nights) and exactly where you need to be🌈
Catherine Gottschalk: I love this yoga studio, and the yoga teachers are great ! | Me encanta este estudio de yoga, las clases son muy buenas ;)
Anna McAtee: The most friendly, supportive, and healing yoga studio in Ann Arbor!
Colette Pratt: I have been taking classes since Mota Thai Yoga opened. Luiz Mota, the owner, is an expert teacher and businessman. He reads the room of students and presents a class specifically to meet the needs of those attending. That includes challenging his yoga students as well as maintaining their safety. Luiz insures that he knows his students health and history of injuries so he can guide them appropriately. As a businessman and owner he has trained the other teachers personally, and they are outstanding! I enjoy Luiz’s teaching and feel safe and comfortable with all the teachers at Mota Thai Yoga. I highly recommend the variety of class options, and excellent, experienced teachers!
Deb Axelrood: If you’re looking for a great yoga workout, Mota Thai Yoga studio is the place to get in shape. Attending the hot yoga classes, I am able to get a great workout without injury, as muscles are warmed up when practicing more challenging yoga positions. I also find the music energizing and atypical of other yoga studios.
my: I moved to LA where there are yoga studios galore, and I still miss this one
Ann Arbor Heart: Mota Thai Yoga is "THE" place to go for a beautiful and unique holistic yoga experience. Luiz and his professional staff are very kind, highly trained and certified to help guide you on your own personal journey with yoga. As soon as you walk in the door, Yael will make you feel at home! It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or at Instructor level, you will feel safe and at ease here. I love the "low lights", non-competitive environment, Silks and Restorative yoga class offerings, massage offering, and great location (with free parking). Most importantly though, these are very good people here. They care about you as a "whole" person. Mota Thai Yoga is the best! You will love it!
Elisabeth Purkis: Never done yoga with silks before but it was an adventure that I would definitely repeat. Felt super supple at the end. Lovely friendly atmosphere.
Kara Painter: I very rarely write a review but Mota Thai Yoga definitely deserves 5 stars. I am relatively new to yoga and the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I had back surgery 10 years ago and taking yoga classes at Mota Thai has kept my pain at a minimum. The atmosphere in the studio is calming and peaceful. I can't recommend enough to someone looking to take Yoga classes in the Ann Arbor area.
Henry Walters: Very welcoming environment
Shaina Mahler: Can't say enough good things about Mota Thai. It's like no other yoga studio I’ve ever been to. I think practicing here is already changing my life for the better, and I've only been to 5 classes. A beautiful space with great teachers.
