Angelo's: what do users think?
Ibrahim Allaham: Amazing food and atmosphere 👍Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict Florentine, Homemade Bread, Homemade French Toast …More
Reggie Rodrigues: Heard about this place from friends and always wanted to try it. When I heard it is closing towards the end of the year I decided it was time to go. Food is very good with generous portions and reasonably priced and the staff is very nice. I will definitely return.I went at lunch time on a Friday so it was busy and noisy. The place is very popular.Be advised parking can be a challenge on weekdays but on weekends the parking structures nearby are free.Parking: The parking behind he restaurant can only hold about 12-15 cars, I think. But there is plenty of free parking on weekends.
Shawn Gillikin: Really good breakfast. Sad it closed
Joshua Polaczyk: Just an amazing local restaurant. Has been here for decades and it will be gone in December. We went on a Sunday morning at 9ish and there was no line. So go and don’t be scared of a crowd. The meals come out quick. Coffee is great. Make sure to get raisin bread.Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict Florentine, Deep-Fried French Toast, Raisin Bread …More
Madeline: genuinely heartbroken to hear this is closing. definitely visit while you still have the opportunity
Winnie Jung: Unfortunate that this place is closing down, but I had quite a bad experience dining in here on a Thursday morning. Oatmeal was too thick and gummy that it was difficult to swallow; when I asked for warm milk I received the response “I can get you milk but I’m not gonna heat it up for you,” which was not only snarky but resulted in the oatmeal being lukewarm, soggy, and overall unpleasant to eat. While there must be a lot of media frenzy around the restaurant closing, the waitress SCREAMED at me to stop taking photos in front of her, even when my phone was clearly directed at the food and not her face. Please chill out. That ruined the vibes and the meal for my entire family; it was especially disappointing because I had come in with my parents, and it was the last meal I would be having with them for months (I told the waitress that within minutes of coming in too). After that frightening interaction, I was severely uncomfortable with talking to the waitress for the rest of my time there, which is bad because she seemed to be the only person serving all customers and I didn't really have anyone else to talk to. Because of how crowded the place is, requests also take forever to deliver and the food is okay but nothing near extraordinary. I would suggest taking your wallet elsewhere.
Bryan Apple: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Chris Gomez: Pros: Friendly staff. Coffee is good.Cons: Food is grotesque. For the huevos rancheros, the refried beans were clearly from a can, tasted foul. The salsa tasted like the store bought Pace salsa you use for dipping chips. Our french toast tasted like the bread was a week old, super dry, no flavor at all other than the syrup you pour on it.
Becca Cobb: Great place, great food, energetic atmosphere and friendly, hard working staff. Highly recommend but note that they are crazy busy so expect to wait.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict Florentine …More
Heather Morelli: Half order of deep fried French toast with a glass of whole milk. Doesn't get better than that. Minus one star on atmosphere as the booth cushions are loosing steam now that I'm no longer a young kid eating here. A tad uncomfortable, so perhaps seek out a chair instead of you have a choice?Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Deep-Fried French Toast …More
Danielle Ward: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More

Jimmy Frye: Parking lot will swallow a regular car, be careful. Food was horrible. No hash browns available. No sausage links available. Toast was burnt when I asked for lighty toasted. Asked for over medium eggs, got them and they were over easy. It's not that hard to make a breakfast. Then I go to pay and because I used a CC , I have to pay extra. I will never return and I'd never recommend this place. The only good thing I can say is the waitresses were very nice.
Nikki Hess: Food: 1/5More
John Whitley: Angelo's is fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor!
Anthony A: This place was great , the food, the service, I honestly can only say good things about this restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Homemade Bread, Deep-Fried French Toast …More

Vicky Wang: the blt is the best thing i've tasted. i spilled water in my backpack and messed up class registration all today, but i just remember that wonderful BLT I had for lunch from Angelo's, and i forget all about the display damages to both my laptop and iPad. Woohoo
Quisha Hudd: Wish I can do 0 Ask for a grill onion and peppers n Potatoes n didn’t get it potatoes under cooked bread hard af I called they transfer me no answers called again no answer I paid $25 dollars n just waste the food

Howard Miller: Food: 5/5More
Cassie Rivera Huber: This cafe is easily the best restaurant I've eaten at in Ann Arbor. It's amazing! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazingly refined yet welcoming, and the staff is so wonderfully polite and kind! The best part is, the food here is cheap and the quality is outstanding! The portion they give you is huge, and you'll want to eat all of it and lick the plate after! I'm even considering getting a box for a single red skin potato wedge! The owners and staff should be so incredibly proud of this restaurant. I'm coming back tomorrow, too!Vegetarian options: Delicious and affordable!
Ben Myslenski: We had a great breakfast here tried the churro French toast and the Apple churro French toast. We also tried a side of home made breakfast sausage. It was so good staff was super friendly too.Recommended dishes Cinnamon Roll French Toast, Apple Churro French Toast …More
Chris R: Delicious breakfast.
Chris McRay: Stray Hen was my family’s favorite part of our trip to Ann Arbor! Amazing!

Carli Jeen Richards: Great food, great coffee, terrible music and a long standing wait. DDR playlist, I swear.
L WW: One of my favorite brunch places in Ann Arbor! Love their granola parfait ❤️
catherine hellrigel: Recommended dishes Avocado Toast Dine in: Yes Takeout: YesMore
Adam Lee: Excellent breakfast bowling and coffee. Wife daughter and I loved the food. Every plate we saw looked fantastic. Clean, well lit, well decorated, upbeat, modern, kind people, super fast service and upscale.Kid-friendliness: Just excellent group if staff and customer base.Dietary restrictions: Healthy choices, low carb, vegan, etc.
A B: Interior is very pretty but the food was worse than average. The Cauliflower rice was unseasoned. The eggs on the bagel were thinly spread then stacked, with did not taste good.
Dylan Mccarroll: The place is really well put together, and service was excellent. Appreciated the self serve style! However, I ordered the Apple Churro French Toast, and wow is that a sugar overdose! The crystal brown sugar and cinnamon sugar on top overpowers almost everything else, to the point where I had to scrape a lot of it off to enjoy it. Wish there was more apple and less cinnamon sugar. My friends more savory options (Protien Plate and Southwest Bowl) looked like a much better pick. Lesson learned!
KM R: Long line but worth the wait, and the staff is so friendly. Dirty Chai and Salmon toast 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kavya Gorrepati: Scouted this place looking for a brunch place in the area. Came in on a Sunday morning around noon and waited for about 20 mins in the line to order. They have menu’s upfront or you can scan the QR code for an entire breakfast and lunch menu served all day. We ordered Blueberry lemon cheesecake Pancakes and Buratta Toast. The toast felt little bland but the pancakes were delicious. The food was a decent portion. I tried an Iced Dirty Chai and my friend got the Lavender Latte. We both enjoyed the food and the experience. Service was fairly quick. Overall i think i have found a new favorite restaurant. I highly recommend this cute brunch spot. I see myself coming back to try other items.Food - 4.5/5Service - 5/5Ambience - 5/5
Ryan Passeri: This place was awesome. I couldn’t have been to a better breakfast place.
Ramzi Haddad: We came here in Saturday morning for brunch and coffee. Unlike most brunch places, this place is a order at the counter and find a seat. We didnt really like this style of dining as you dont really have a ton of time to look at the menu or figure out what you're going to order. We were able to get free refills of coffee but had to go up and get it. The place was pretty well decorated except some of the tables and chairs were a bit unsturdy. We got the turkey club and the pesto benadict. The turkey club was nothing to write home about and a bit on the drier side. We upgraded to fries and added spicy mayo on the side. Neither were very good. The fries were similar to the ones at applebees. The pesto benadict looked pretty but was pretty underseasoned surprisingly. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The iced coffee was very good. The food was a bit pricy for what it was and how it tasted. We came here because it was pretty popular on social media but were overall underwhelmed and would not come back

Sava's: what do users think?
Rachel Cichon: Girl what is this
Jean Gosling: Wish they would add more dishes to their menu!
Colin G.: Came here on a whim, as I was traveling into town.Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was lovely, the service staff was friendly and accommodating.I had a pork shoulder sandwich with Mac and cheese. I was amazed that the sandwich didn't drip at all! No mess! Very very tasty. The Mac and cheese was creamy and crunchy from the bread crumbs. And wasn't soggy like most restaurants. They also used big fat shells for the noodles.Superb restaurant. 15 out of 10. Will return
Ryan Thummel: All around superb food, outstanding service, and great atmosphere. Pricey, but quality and quantity live up to it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sava's Greek Salad …More
Rhonda B: I was excited to try SAVA in Ann Arbor. I had heard such great things. I went on a Tuesday so it wasn’t too busy when I arrived for my reservation at 5:45 pm. I was greeted by friendly greeters and service was prompt and attentive.I opted for the Capellini Marlon, which sounded great. My dish came quickly which was surprising and it looked great. BUT…It smelled terrible! It had a fishy smell but also a rotten smell. I couldn’t put my finger on it until I tried the seafood, it almost took my last bite but finally I pinpointed it.I have been told not to order seafood on a Tuesday or Wednesday because fresh seafood is delivered in time for Friday’s dinner menu. Seafood too long after Friday is questionable.Such was the case here. The seafood was old. Shrimp was on the verge and hiding behind the sauce, which didn’t mask it too well. The smell died down once the fish cooled but the taste was a give away.Well I was thinking to just get the smash burger and frittes… guess I should of.Perhaps you’d want to come on a Friday for the seafood but definitely avoid on a Tuesday or Wednesday.Although service was great, my dish was disappointing.Pacific Rim was way better.
Mai Lee: Holy Mac n cheese. I went back 2x for a helping. Delightfully cute place with a good spread for our work event. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The staff could have been more attentive. No napkins! And no staff was around to put it out. Even after they were asked by multiple people we got cocktail napkins.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potate Fries …More

Laura: One of the Best! Great taste, environment and service. Love it!
Ana Fraia: Ambience is very nice. Food menu is very limited. The starters of olives in orange were nothing in flavor. the garlic potatoes was pure salt. We tried 1 of the pastas and salad the salad I had to change it was too much pepper, they changed the salad, the salad change was good, the salad was really good but we didn’t like any of the pastas. They were dry and tasteless. The desserts and the starters were good and our waiter was very friendly and helpful.
David Sayah: What a great experience! This was my last stop on my Pulpo Group owned restaurants and yet again, only good things to say. Dixboro and Aventura were also amazing (side note). We drank the mediterranean mock mule and blueberry lavender lemonade which were sweetened and tarted to perfection. We had the hummus with fresh warm grilled pita and pickled cucumber for our starter which was very tasty. Our entrées were the black bean wrap and turkey club. My guest loved her wrap and the turkey club was good as well. We split a side of baked Mac and cheese which was honestly my favorite part except the dessert, so bomb. Our dessert was the cheesecake with brûlée sauce and berries which was MOUTHWATERING. The atmosphere inside is very modern and bright! And the service was positive and professional, we were helped by Lexi and Katie. Both were very sweet and had optimistic attitudes, suggestions, and one of which had great things to say about where she worked! Love hearing that they are good to their staff because they are absolute gems. Definitely planning on returning!Parking: Street is undergoing construction, makes it difficult to find parking.

Rosey Stuurmans: Friendly, fast server and a nice ambience! The lamb burger was great!
Kayla Peyton: Savas is great. I loved them pre remodel and I love them just as much now. Their menu offerings are unique, fresh and super delicious.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mac & Cheese …More
Emmanuelle Berdugo: Way overpriced for the quality and quantity they serve you. Waiter and vibe was nice but probably wouldn’t go back.
Kurt Black: We had a terrific graduation dinner at Sava’s. Our server, Ajja was extremely attentive as were the managers that checked in with us briefly to make sure everything was to our liking. The appetizers and main courses were delicious and perfectly prepared. An overall great experience. We will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Nice gluten free options
Evelyn Gonzalez: The ambiance and service is awesome, but the food is underwhelming. Not many good options and very expensive for what you get.
Jose Vigil: Excellent service and food.

Jagged Fork: what do users think?
hussam al: You need to tell people that 18% gratuity is mandatory and included in the bill. The waitress brought me the credit card machine to pay without showing the bill and the machine asked for a tip so I included a tip and after I left I realized that the tip was already included and I ended paying tips twice! That’s deceiving!Note: if the service was good I won’t be that much upset but to be honest it is still deceiving
James Anderson: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Mai N: The food was good. The waitress was kinda rude to us. They ask us for the payment without showing the receipt I paid and I didn't realize that 18% tip was auto included so I tipped her (although the service was bad) So now I tipped someone almost 32% for a bad serviceFood: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Cheryl Stafford: The service was phenomenal. We had a 3 hr wait before my grandson basketball at the coliseu. One of the coaches decide we could walk and get breakfast since they had driven in from GrandRapids that morning and played earlier at 11. We more met by one of the employees who cheerfully asked where we coming there. When we said yes, they found space for the team and parents. The food was exceptional and the service was terrific. Not everyone is warm and welcoming when they see a large crowd, not here. Thank you all for a great time and superb food.
karmen johnson: Kid-friendliness: We brought our aau team in between games because we had a 3 hr gap and they had the best hospitality! They greeted us at the door and was glad to have us even as a big group with kids and took excellent care of us.
A Lew: Our server was great but the food was just ok. Nothing really stood out…
Anja Fossheim: Server was outstanding! the rest was "Meh.."Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Ryan Atkins: The service was phenomenal and the food was good but the owner? I think it was (Angelo is his name) was the issue with the day. I needed to do a bridal shower brunch for my soon to be wife and called multiple places 2 months prior to make reservations. Jagged Fork stated they don't do reservations but assured us they could accommodate our party as long as someone shows up roughly an hour early. We did have 3 of the 20 there an hour early and waited at the bar. As soon as the rest of the party arrived Angelo was very pushy and NOT accommodating like previously told. Right after we received our food he was talking to my wife and I trying to rush us out. Now I grew up in the service industry, so I understand flipping tables, BUT there were 2 open tables and no one at the door waiting, so they had seating if someone needed it. Still being rushed out by Angelo until we left. Definitely don't recommend this Jagged Fork, especially if you're not a regular, Angelo seemed to cater to a few guests, which seemed to be regulars.
Kevin B: Food: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
H F: Our daughter brought us. The food was excellent. Decent portions. The service was very good. Angelo (owner) was friendly. I enjoyed chatting with him.My complaint: need better coffee beans and drop the 18% mandatory tips.In summary, this is my new breakfast place.Definitely, no more Zola Cafe
Yuhui Lai: The attitude do their staff was bad af. I was trying to ask some questions on the phone, and they just hang up without even finish listening to my questions. Terrible service, definitely wouldn’t go there.
Jay Roberts: They force a take out fee
Che Foster: Mediocre overpriced food, rushed service and constant reminders to refill beverages. Oh and the added 18% gratuity to the bill prior to me knowing I might add brought my total bill to $62.78. As a party of 2 we had an omelet, coffee, mimosa, sprite and a cheese hamburger?? Adding injury too insult, when I paid I had the option to leave ANOTHER tip on top of the mandatory 18%. Really?? The best thing about the visit was the cream cheese on top of the wife's red velvet pancakes(not fluffy) and my French fries which says enough unto itself. I've been in the hospitality industry at a high level for over 25 years, there's nothing worse than feeling you've gotten gouged especially for mediocre food. Will not be back, which is sad because this was our first time. I also noticed there aren't ANY replies from ownership/management addressing the many similar complaints in these reviews. That should tell you enough about this scam of a restaurant and the people running it.
Kvaujin: Service was good, food tasted good... hygiene was questionable. No one cleaned or steamed out the steaming wand on the espresso machine or the steaming pitchers, ice bin was uncovered, and I saw a server do something on his phone and then, without washing his hands, reach into a glass to take ice out of an iced latte. Since this was in plain sight, makes me wonder what hygiene is like in the kitchen where we can't see.
Irene Yoon: I stopped in for Saturday morning brunch with my cousin today and was looking forward to my first meal in Ann Arbor. It was packed with a wait about 35 minutes at around 10:45am.The positives: The hostess couldn’t have been nicer even with the morning rush. I got the Voodoo Benedict which was delish and had a spicy kick which I loved. My cousin ordered the corned beef hash skillet which she thought was pretty good. Big portions so she was able to take half of it as leftovers. The not-so-positives: We were seated, ordering food took a few minutes, but again it was busy so it was no big deal. However, when our food was taking longer than the other tables around us that had been seated after us, I checked in with our waiter, Daniel, by asking if he would check in on our order. He promptly and condescendingly responded that he had just seen the food “with his own eyes” and that it was coming as though I didn’t believe him. I thought his condescending tone was weird but moved past it. I completely understand that he can’t control how fast the kitchen works. A simple “It’ll be out in just a second, thanks so much for your patience!” would’ve sufficed. Then, when he delivered my plate, he slid it across the table like a frisbee, no eye contact, no comment about the wait and sashayed away. I was overall pretty disappointed with this experience. If I was back in town, I would give the Jagged Fork another shot for the food and the super sweet owner, but unfortunately, not for Daniel.
Joggo: I was not informed about the gratuity fee that was placed into my bill. The food was alright and the service was sufficient. Great for brunch, but wouldn't come back often.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes …More
Josh: Foods great, but just make sure to check your bags for carryout(like most places)Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5 …More
Chris Gomez: Pros: quality food, well prepared, big portions, friendly staff.Cons: forced 18% gratuity for dine-in customers was a surprise. When cashing out, the server has a handheld device where you pay with credit card. As you follow the prompts, it asks for tip %, which we happily left 20%. However, upon inspecting the receipt, we realized there was an additional 18% gratuity added for dining in. Felt deceived, there were no signs that I could see that warned of this. Also, food took over 25 minutes.
Khurram Rehman: The omelets, hash browns, and pancakes are amazing! The red velvet pancakes are great and they give plenty of hash browns.Parking: There are parking structures nearby and you can park on the roads west and east of the restaurant.
Yiqi Li: Great portion. You can upgrade the side pancakes to special pancakes for only $2 (I upgraded mine to fruit explosion pancakes and loved them). The only problem is this place is too popular and you need to get here early in the morning to get a table.
