Anna's House - Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Patricia Carroll: Delicious. Had Anna's skillet. Took home leftovers and had enough for 3 more meals.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
jawahir fadel: They can not accommodate a big group. I went with a group of nine and the hostess told us she can't get us one table. She was also rude about it.Service: 1/5 …More
Marc-Grégor Campredon: The service is actually amazing. When the place is packed it is still efficient and the food is served warm and as you wish. If something is wrong they correct the order in no time.So what is this place? I would resume by simply saying it is an upscaled - hypster - dîner. And this should already be enough to convince you.The atmosphere is fun and simple, the place is super clean, the tables are spaces to give you enough privacy. Everything is comfortable. As for the food, you have the staples and many have a personal and unique twist (hint to M&Ms pancake!).Probably, since Nick's stopped, the best place for waffle and pancake in a 30 miles radius.Everything is tasty and made with enough quality to be good as expected - and in many case beyond. Making definitely an upgrade to the classic diner! Is it expensive? For an upscaled hypster in Ann Arbor brunch place? It is actually not that far from a low key diner - so it is very fair. Especially considering that the serving are copious.5* no question.
William Bitonti: Food was bland. No seasoning (salt or pepper). The eggs tasted like they were quickly done on a flat top, the bacon and hash browns were alright but the potatoes lacked flavor. The server was nice and the ambience was cute.Highlight was the toast.
Nikhil Kolhatkar: The rating is purely based on food. Service and ambience are excellent. If you have a palette that likes sweet and savory foods, this is not the place. The food is extremely bland . Even the the dish which is suppose to be full of flavors is bland. I think I can compare the food to what you get at Day care or at a hospital . No salt, no pepper , and no sugar . If you are health conscious and want organic stuff then you will enjoy it here.
Ian McGhee: Tasty, quick, and reasonably priced. The perfect breakfast on a Wednesday morning
kevin a: First time. Got a breakfast burrito and a breakfast lasagna. Both were delicious.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes The Famous Breakfast Lasagna …More
Laura Laudick: Just moved to the area and found this place on Google, and I’m SO glad we did!! It was absolutely delicious and a super enjoyable experience from start to finish. Food, AMAZING. Staff, wonderful. And THE VIBE. It’s so cute!! Can’t wait for our next visit.
VICTORIA EVANS: Food is always coolFood: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Gator Mouse: This is a bit further away from the central campus as it is near the Briarwood Mall. The restaurant’s interior reminded us of a candy store as it is decorated with paste colors and has a whimsical ambience. Their coffee is pretty good and their breakfast options are solid. The avocado toast was good with fresh fruits. Solid omelettes and crepes as well. The restaurant allows their customers to join the waitlist online so we recommend joining the waitlist about 10 mine prior to arrival so that you don’t have to wait as much to get seated.
Jacqueline A: Wow! My French toast and bacon were out of this world. Seriously! I'm obsessed with their French toast and syrup. I can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. Also the service was great. Our server was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable. My friend has dietary restrictions and he made sure to find out any answer or concern she had. I was very impressed with my first visit. Looking forward to my next!
Lauren Valko: Went here for the first time today for brunch with friends. Such a great experience! They have an entire vegan section and offer vegan eggs, vegan sausage, and vegan pancakes and waffles! AND it’s all so delicious. Generous portions that left me with leftovers for later too. And our server was very nice and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.
Bridget Krause: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
T Jones: Variety of tasty treats! Breakfast was wonderful. We had a group of 7 people, 5 adults and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We were served quickly and the food was hot. Our server was very personable and attentive. The decor is super interesting- retro items tastefully displayed. Great experience!
Carrie Webster: AMAZING food and such fun dishes. The banana french toast was amazing and the cinnamon roll is HUGE. Great experience and fun decorations. Would definitely go back.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes French Toast …More
Mitch Webster: Very nice diner. Great food, atmosphere was very nice and quiet. The wet breakfast burrito was amazing!Parking: Lots of spaces right next to the complex.
robert zarzar: What a breakfast!!!! Very loud, so be ready. Share the sweet roll - crazy good. No reservations, so get there early and prepare to wait. You won't regret it.Parking: Parking could be dicey at peak hours. Check the seating load stats to plan.
Stephen Jones: Simply wonderful! The atmosphere, staff and food were all amazing. Highly recommend stopping by.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes California Dreamin' Avocado Toast, Hippie Hash, Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs …More
Ricardo Martinez: Randomly stopped in with my daughter for breakfast. Service was really efficient. Served within 15 mins of seating, done in 30. Food was fresh, definitely had home-made vibes. For the service and food quality it was worth every penny. Will definitely be back and recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and Vegan options
Sin Addams: I've been here a couple of times. Its a chain coney island, wrapped in bourgeoisie*edit*I won't argue with owners. I'll just eat at Avalon's when I want the same experience but with actual poached eggs
Zach Wilkinson: Know your sweetness limits. This place can unexpectedly exceed them.Table service follows the current subdued, introverted trend.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

David Stielstra: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Thai-Style CalamariMore
Kelsey M: I was not impressed with the food here. I tried the peanut noodles and it lacked flavor so I notified the waitress and got something else. I also tried the spring rolls and passion fruit mousse and did not care for either one. Their dumplings were decent but overall I‘ve had much better food in other restaurants. For some reason this place is only open 4-5 hours a day for dinner.
S L: The food was good! It wasn’t “OMG AMAZING” but it was still enjoyable. My favorite dish was the Southeast Asian Crabcakes. The flavors were meshed together perfectly. We also had the five spice duck and the Japanese style Sablefish. Those both were okay. Maybe I was expecting more of the Asian flavor profile so I found it lacking. But I do recommend giving it a try!
Danielle Foor: The food is delicious as are the drinks. We defiantly will be back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Grilled Prawns, Thai Peanut Noodles …More

Louise Zrull: Sad experience for our first experience, majority of dishes were excellent, but wait staff rude, abrupt and not at a standard I would expect for such a venue. Made overall experience not good…
Dzmitry Halouchyts: This would be the very first place that I would recommend if my friend is asking for a special place to have a delicious dinner in Ann Arbor. The atmosphere is very-very nice and pleasant and food definitely worth to come for.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Monisha Encarnacion: Been around a long time and will be around a lot longer. Quiet and very classy would recommend reservations. Perfect date night.Recommended dishes Unagi Terrine, Korean-Marinated Ribeye …More
Namitha Srinath: I took a 5pm reservation for our family of 4 , with a request for 2 high chairs. We were greeted very warmly by the host, he even had the two high chairs set up for us in a nice corner of the restaurant. Being 5 pm, we beat the restaurant week traffic. The server was amazing. Polite, quick and accommodating. The food was fantastic. We had the pork belly for appetizer. The Korean inspired rib eye with quail eggs for main course. And shared a dessert of dark chocolate mousse with passion fruit sabayon sauce. Mouthwatering! Best service ever! They have nice individual restrooms. No diaper changing station but we didn't have an issue with that.

Marsha Langhorst: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Saigon Spring Rolls, Miso-Teriyaki Salmon, Southeast Asian CrabcakesMore
Laura: Innovative tastes. I like the salad which mixed many kinds of food especially like the nuts and pumpkins. Quite expensive even in restaurant week.
Jonathan Amos: Cocktails: 5/5Service: 5/5Starters (crab cakes and unagi): 4/5Mains: 2/5Overall, we had a nice night due to the great service, awesome cocktails, and delicious starters. We were both very underwhelmed by our main courses though. I had the sablefish and my husband had the lamb shank. Both of the proteins were COOKED well, but the flavor profiles were extremely one note and blah. With the sweetish sauce pictured drizzled all over the fish/veggies/rice, the entire dish tasted like the same flavor profile. Both the lamb shank and the sablefish needed some acid and heat to break up the flavors. This restaurant had been hyped up a lot by friends but the main courses were somewhat of a let down.
Trooper Long: The service here was top-notch. I enjoyed my three-course meal here, part of restaurant week.
Derek Gouin: Fantastic experience once again from the amazing staff at Pacific Rim. Always a lovely time.Four different entrées, four beautiful and delicious plates, expertly prepared, served by friendly and attentive staff, all amid the bustle of restaurant week.Great night out with friends!
Mukesh Nyati: Vegetarian options: Not too many but enough options to enjoyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Coconut-Curry Soup, Thai Peanut Noodles …More
Mackenzie Byrne: Delicious food and cocktails! I got the seared tuna, which was wonderful and a very pretty plate. I also had the red viper drink, which was delicious. Habenero tequila was the perfect amount of heat. Our server was very informative and friendly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nana Ama Kwarteng Baryeh: The five spice duck is excellent!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Five-Spice Duck …More

Sadako Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?
Cindy Sopko: I would give this a super meh rating. 1st was the smell. It was a little off putting, but not the worst smell. 2nd our waiter was pretty unfriendly and very blunt. Maybe he was having a bad day 🤷‍♀️. 3rd the sushi was overall mid. Not great, not gross. Wouldn't come here again personally. Better options elsewhere that are just as convenient.
KoriKitsune: The food was really good i highly recommend Beef Udon, and smoked salmon roll.Recommended dishes Roll, Soup …More
Brendan Schwalm: Not a sushi expert but I love it. Sadako had a nice little vibe, very reasonably priced rolls, free lil soup and salad that were also good, and fast service. My girlfriend and I smashed 5 rolls, an edemame order, a miso soup, and our free soup and salad and got out for $50 after leaving a 20%+ tip. All the rolls had at least 2 times the fish of similar sushi at the price as well. Just check it out
Connor Eulberg: Beat sushi restaurant in Ann Arbor, plus really good lunch specials, great food, and consisitently excellent service.Dietary restrictions: Can suit any dietary restrictions
Mike Lemmon: My entire experience with Sadako was awful. They give us the wrong food, my partner and I are vegan/vegetarian and they gave us shrimp. The food was also cold and undone. I would recommend not ordering from this place.
Sally: Best affordable sushi on campus
Yuko Sams: Awful. Service from start to finish was not good. Our food we ordered didn’t come the same time. It was between 20min to be served each person. My food was last to be served. I waited it for 60 min and my food was cold. Rice was mushy, salads was watery and disgusting and miso soup taste was funny but sushi was good.I was excited to eat here because of 4.5 stars but it was zero star restaurant.
Rachel's Music Garden: I enjoyed my lunch here. They had yummy sushi.I would caution people to ask for more detailed descriptions of the roll that they are ordering because it's not very clear on the menu. We ended up getting something very different from what we had expected. They seemed to have a bit of a lunch rush, so I wouldn't suggest it if you're in a hurry.Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian and vegan rolls and it is marked very well to be sure that you're not eating meat.
Bev Beaumier: Food okay...definitely a college place...POOR service until Benny or Benji came along. Had to physically get up from table twice to request service. Tab was 197.00....likely many tables combined....Mom and Dad obviously established and next generation will shut it down. Will NOT return
Pierre Horgrow: Wonderful!1st time in the restaurant as a patron & it was very FULLfilling!🍣 🍥 ❤️Literally, I'm very full & it was very filling as well as very delicious.🥢Glad to have had such an enjoyable meal!Parking: Would suggest coming down on Sunday when the parking is free.
Griffin Schultz: Amazing. You’d be happy if you went here! Just go (:
Edward Shim: My girlfriend and I went for the first, and ordered a couple of rolls. However, we both got sick and threw up a day after. This is odd as I called and they replied that we received fresh salmon and scallops, but I am fairly certain Sadako is to blame for our food poisoning. Will be wary of going againFood: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sydney Tritsch: My sushi roll came with so much crunch on it that you could not even see or taste the sushi. The picture below is the sushi AFTER I tried to scrape it all off. There was obviously a spill in the kitchen, and they did not even try to fix it. When I called the store, the lady on the phone was beyond rude and yelled at me for complaining. She didn’t even try to understand and said that the chefs wouldn’t do something like that. I will never be ordering from here again. Bad quality food and awful service.
Pun Punyasavatsut: Recommend: Fire Dragon RollA Japanese sushi restaurant offering many options, with great flavors with great portion. Minor cultural modifications made while still staying true to the original.
Gloria Li: Best place in Ann Arbor to get sushi! Wish I could give this place more stars! Staff is friendly and attentive, food comes out quick, the rolls themselves are delicious (and HUGE). My favorites are the Johnny Boy and the Ann Arbor roll.
Matthew Jo: awesome value, unmatched by any other sushi placeRecommended dishes Roll, Crunch Rolls …More
Akira CA: You don’t do Gyudon with steak!! Looks good, tastes disgusting (2/5). Miso soup was supermarket quality (2/5).
Caroline Cisneros: I’m a pretty regular customer and have always considered it to be pretty average but worth the price. I got takeout today and it just looks horrid. It tastes okay but the fact that the sauce is just carelessly thrown on the spicy salmon roll really ruins the roll. I don’t like a ton of sauce in every bite so it wasn’t ideal and I can’t even eat some of it because it’s drenched in spicy Mayo.
Liam Choi: 여기 남자 서버가 존잘임 ㅇㅇ
Maurielle C: Average sushi. There is definitely better in downtown Ann Arbor. Firstly, there was one employee that was very blunt and unfriendly. He was just rude and was clearly in a rush. He wasn’t our waiter but he came by quite often, it was not pleasant. Secondly, the miso soup was extremely average and almost lukewarm when we got it. Once we got the sushi, I will not it was also lukewarm. We were told we’d get the soy sauce right away and it didn’t come for 10 minutes. Wouldn’t really recommend coming here, there are much better sushi restaurants in town just a few blocks over.
Dakota Cotugno: My girlfriend and I absolutely love this restaurant. We come to eat here at least once a week! We thoroughly enjoy our food, and the staff are very friendly. We have gotten to know many of them over the past few years. We love them! The service is fast and the environment is nice. Anytime someone asks us for food recommendations in Ann Arbor, Sadako is always first on our list.
