World Market: what do users think?
suhaib Hammoud: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good selection of furniture for a good price without compromising quality.
Jacqueline A: I forgot how much I love World Market. Just popped into the store recently and was so happy with my awesome experience. The store and products were beautifully displayed. Everything was very well organized and laid out. They even had tea to sample -it was beyond refreshing. The cashier was very friendly. I couldn't believe how well stocked everything was. I'll definitely be back soon!!
Leann Kuebler: I love world market. I can always find something whether I need to or not
Sara Gardner: Had very different eclectic things in this store. We bought some sweet treats that were not from around here, so it was nice to try them.
Malisa Ortyl: check expiration dates if you’re buying food
Wilson Cardona: 🙂
Loretta Dorsey: Really nice place to browse, rare finds, and good sales and markdowns at times.
Mo Gandhi: Post-Covid it is not the same World Market. Beer and wine is no more. Doesn't appear to be as much selection and variety as before. Still a neat store for trinkets and "worldly goods".
Jason Shuherk: From dishes & cookware to rugs and baskets, World Market is a unique store with all sorts of interesting finds.
Maggie Williams: Who doesn’t love world market?? Made the trek to Ann Arbor to pick up an online order… the manager greeted me upon entry and quickly got my order together. He was kind enough to honor the 10% discount on some additional items I picked up while in store.Their inventory is definitely lighter these days… not sure if that’s just a post Covid thing or what.
J Van Bolt: I guess it's not a traditional one-star review because I do like the store, but the last couple times I've been in there there's no prices on half the things. Especially foods. World Market is the kind of store that you get up to the front and something you may guess was $4 is $20, but at any store its pretty ridiculous that they don't have the prices on so many items. I think it might be illegal. I know they move things around a lot but there seems to be zero interest in marking so many of the food items.
Salam Baker: A wonderful place with all its contents and the material is very wonderful and suits all tastes. It is my favorite place for shopping. Everyone who wants to add an elegant touch to their home should try it.
Jill Miller: Watch your prices when at the register..Price charged and price on item did not match and was told that the register price wasvthe new one???????
Jann Arnold: World Market is where you can find almost anything your looking for. The store is wonderful
David Griffey: Family favorite
Marilynn Thomas: Love their unusual imports.
Aumachi: Lots of variety for food and snacks, and I also enjoy seeing their nice jewelry (earrings, bracelets, necklaces) every time I go in.
Frog_bread: Cool and unique foods!!
Maxine Mercier: I had the pleasure of being helped by Theresa when I came in. I couldn't find what my son really wanted. She was very kind and helpful. Took the time to try and help find it. I would definitely come back because of her. And the store itself is beautiful. Love everything they have in there.
Ken Subala: Typical shopping experience.
russ francis: It was very nice had a lot of cool things

Arhaus: what do users think?
안재헌: Purchased a sectional and two dinning room chairs from here with help of Karl. First of all, what they sell here is not cheap, far from it. The couch here is not twice as nice as the ones that cost half the price from somewhere else. But what I paid for was the excellent service and attentive advice I got from design consultant Karl. He is a professional and professional service anywhere has cost associated with it raising the final price. If you know what you want and know where to find it, great.. I did not. Thanks to Karl. I got exactly what I wanted for a price I considered fair.
Patsy Burnham: Great service and furniture
Michele Huston: I worked with a sales associate to select several accessories to take to a friend. I was very clear that I wasn’t sure what she would like and we might return some. There was mention of a final sale at checkout. When I came back to return a set of candlesticks they wouldn’t do it because they were marked down as a final sale. I explained I had sales help while shopping and at no time did the woman say anything was a final sale. The associate did not care. I spent quite a bit of money there that day and the candlesticks were the cheapest thing I bought. Seems a silly reason to lose a customer.
Todd Miller: Prices are ridiculous. Happy to pay for quality, but a $22k couch? Nope
Pattie Dykstra: I am so disappointed with Arhaus. After working with them for the last several months on a significant project that included multiple large purchases, my Sales Associate helped me select the large canvas on the left. The warm colors in the canvas that I saw in the store made it a nice fit for our home. Unfortunately, when the order showed up at my house, the colors were completely different. As you can see, the canvas on the right is more blue/cool. When I reached out to my Sales Associate to discuss the change in the colors, she said that she didn't see a difference between the two. After some back and forth, they did allow me to exchange the canvas that was shipped to me for the floor model, but I had to agree to the nicks and scratches on the frame on the floor model. I understand that their art is sold "as-is" but when the color scheme is completely different, I think there should be a better solution than having to take a beat-up substitute. If you have a specific look or color scheme you are going for, I'd think twice about ordering art from Arhaus.UPDATE: After posting my review, a General Manager from Arhaus did connect with me and they have resolved my concerns. My preference would have been for my Sales Associate to advocate for me so that I didn't have to resort to a negative review to get focus on this issue, but I am grateful that it has been addressed and corrected.
Eleazar Arce: Arhaus has treated me with great service multiple times. I believe the young lady's name was Andrea. She helped me chosethrow pillows for a living room and a few decorations. I also ordered a coffee table and it arrive on time Plus they did not charge for shipping to store where I picked it up at.
Sabina Rahaman: The team has been incredibly helpful.
Lesley Roumayah: I purchased a large sectional from Arhaus. Three years later, the cushions were lopsided. My sister has the same sofa and hers did not wear this way. I contacted customer service and they sent me all new cushions. Although I don't think such an expensive piece of furniture should wear so quickly with only 2 people using it, I support a company that backs their products and would recommend them.
T W: If you like being discarded after finishing the sale, this is the furniture store for You! I bought a few pieces from this locale because I was in the Ann Arbor area visiting my daughter at school. This review, however, is not all about the locale. This company as a whole is quite simply horrible, for what they charge… (and that shouldn’t even be mentioned, but I will because in my book it makes it even worse).I waited 8 months to receive a custom chair. I knew it going in so no issue. It finally arrives with one of the legs completely busted. They say at the time to take the chair and they’ll have a person who can come to my home and replace it. Never heard from them again! I called their ‘so-called’ concierge and after reaching out to them at least 5, 6, 7 times, plus the store a couple of times, they finally sent the delivery service back to my home to pick up the chair because I was then told it turned out that it couldn’t be fixed. Really? When were you calling to tell me this?? At the store, I had bought a cabinet and lamp as well. That also was going to take around 5-7 months to arrive. It turned out I found another cabinet I liked just as much that was available right away at another furniture store. When I went to cancel, 1.5 months later, the saleswoman who had discarded me as soon as she made her sale (and I say this because we had a few interactions after finishing up), actually said to me rudely, ‘I wasted all that time with you.’ I said, ‘I still spent over 2k with you even with canceling the cabinet!’ She had me hold and when she came back to the phone she was much nicer and more professional. My guess: a manager told her to change her attitude because I had also purchased that very expensive lamp and I could have canceled that too. There was one salesman, Karl S., at the store who helped me with this whole mess and I’m grateful to him because I was frustrated beyond tears trying to get anyone at this company to do something, anything about refunding my cost back for the chair after they finally picked it up. Couldn’t even offer to cover the $199 shipping fee after all I went through. I DID EVERYTHING!! The company, nor the Ann Arbor store, never called me back at anytime pertaining to this entire debacle. I redid my home, and bought from 4 other furniture stores as well. Two private and two from companies such as Arhaus. I not only don’t recommend this locale… but, proceed with Arhaus the company… with warning and at your own risk! And, if you don’t want to take my word for it check out the pages on the BBB site about this company.
Keith McIntyre: We are extremely dissatisfied with the customer service regarding a chair we purchased from Arhaus. In less than three years of very light use the fabric on this chair is literally falling apart. Multiple calls to Arhaus found fabric is not covered under warranty. We now have no option except to have both chairs reupholstered at our cost.I would give Arhaus one star or less on this chair but we liked our salesperson and are happy with the dining set and couch we also purchased
Michelle Kirby: Andrea Opland is amazing! From the moment we walked in to the final sale; she was professional, detailed and engaged. AND not the frivolous engagement that you attain from other furniture reps. She cared about the space we were creating and provided valuable feed back. She provided space visuals that allowed me to purchase in confidence! This was huge! She listened to my needs and exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank Andrea enough for assisting me in creating my "Zen" space!
Judith Matthews-Nana: Kelly was very helpful. Fabulous selection of furniture.
Molly McGreavy: Couldn't be happier with our experience at Arhaus and, in particular, working with Andrea Opland. We were working with a tough timeline in terms of moving to a new, unfurnished space. Start to finish, she walked us through our options, navigated the logistical hurdles, and helped us lock in exactly the sofa we had been looking for. We couldn't be happier with the product, but were doubly impressed with Andrea's service!
Pooja Kumar Shyam: It was very nice working with Kat! She took the time to understand our house and helped us choose the perfect combinations! She is fully prepared for all the meetings and thinks about the customers needs. If you go to Arhaus, ask for Kat! 5 + stars for her!
Ship 1261: I spent an afternoon buying a new sofa, dining set and bar stools and found the experience wonderful. We worked with Andrea, she was great and patient as we talked through options. She found us the best prices and options to fit our decor. Don't get me wrong, it's expensive but you get the service and product you pay for.Update May 2021... still waiting on that couch. Pandemic or not, getting kinda ridiculous. Hopefully I'll get something soon.
Christine Teska: My experience at Arhaus Ann Arbor was stellar thanks to Andrea Opland my design consultant. I had purchased furniture at Arhaus six years ago and was retuning because I like the style and quality found at Arhaus. This time my intent was to find furnishing for a new addition and I felt overwhelmed with the prospect of creating interesting spaces that would compliment my current style but also propel me into new design territory. Upon entry Andrea greeted me warmly and she quickly gained my attention and respect as she started asking me all the appropriate questions about my visit and looming project. Her questions lead us down a very satisfying and fun path as we created three very unique yet cohesive spaces for my new areas. Andrea knows her products and has an innate ability to create spaces that are stylish - innovative and imaginative while taking your style thoughtfully into consideration. She gently suggested options that had never occurred to me but after we added them to our design I was throughly sold. My expectations were met and exceeded! I felt like we were a design team because she listened to my story. I could go on and on singing Andrea’s praises. See for yourself. Pay Arhaus a visit in Ann Arbor and ask for Andrea. Be prepared for a wonderful experience! Thank you Andrea!
Camille Thomas: Lovely store experience, but their 'worry-free' (or any) warranty for the high-price furniture they sell here (that was, at the time, highly touted as why the furniture was worth the price) is near-useless unless you have infinite patience, and the furniture isn't particularly long lasting as furniture goes.I Purchased a $2,000 sofa-chair from here back 3 years ago with the expectation that it would last a long time. I waited the ~12 weeks for my customized item (special fabric) and was generally pretty happy even though it took a while. Well, last August the spring structure on the inside broke. Ok, I called warranty/'Concierge' service (Aug 14, 2020). After a few follow-ups I get a person out to see it September 5th (a little slow, but understandable). They say they need to order parts and will come back when they arrive... I hear nothing until December 21 when I follow up and get an apology for the 'extreme delay'. I have an appointment scheduled for early Feb - but when the appointment comes around still no parts sent and they have to reschedule for March 5th. The day before the appointment comes and still no parts - that day I get a call saying they can get the parts out to me no earlier than March 8th... AFTER the tech is supposed to come out. The tech texts to confirm the 5th, I tell them parts are supposed to arrive the 8th. The next available appointment is April 2nd.So for those keeping track, a $2K chair that broke after only 3 years was reported to warranty on August 14th and will *hopefully* be resolved April 2nd (we will see). Essentially I'm pretty sure they're just trying to get me to give up.Update: I reached out to Arhaus social with details (including documentation) of my issue via their email below. It's been 12 days and no response. That's a pretty good example of my experiences with Arhaus support.
Tyler Rand: Normally I have had wonderful experiences at this location, but unfortunately, COVID-19 safety doesn’t seem to be a top priority. During my visit today, two employees had face coverings off or down; they quickly put them on as I came into view. I hope this is useful for anyone trying to be more COVID conscious!
Sean Cratty: Revising... customer service is great. Kelsey FTW
Sandy Shipper: Arhaus is a great place to find quality interesting furniture. Ask for design consultant, Vanessa Zielke. She is knowledgeable, patient and has excellent taste.
Randa Furrha: I am writing this email to make it well known that this location has hired and staffed the most extremely rude manager I have ever encountered. Brandon (manager) at arhaus furniture has zero customer service skills and lacks empathy. Despite the thousands of dollars spent at this specific location he still failed to make some very minor accommodations that would have made a big difference on me as a customer. Now instead of me spending tens of thousands of dollars here in the future I will no longer step foot in this location. I will take my business elsewhere (restoration hardware). Before spending 20k I was treated with respect and chased throughout the store. After spending 20k I was completely neglected. I guess they don’t plan for the future because I will never spend here in the future. Stay away from this place at all cost.

It was so quick & easy I felt like I was doing something wrong.I will go back when I need more furniture this was my first experience with this store.Thank-you salesman Ethan Lounds
Joyce Vivirski: The salesperson was very knowledgeable but tried to upsell me on mattresses. He also did a bait and switch, telling me the box springs were free but when we went to write up the sales agreement, he told me he made a mistake. The box springs were not free BUT he could give me a $300 master card gift certificate. He would have given me the gift certificate anyway because that was part of the promotion. He knew his stuff so he knew the box springs weren't included in the price. I don't like sales people that aren't honest.

Tyner Furniture: what do users think?
Vin: Pricey but good.
Alicia Maxwell: High quality many displays
Austin: Do NOT shop here, if you're looking for good after-sale service and installation.I ordered a sofa from here and received my delivery today. For $2700, I thought the movers would remove my old couch and put it by the dumpster for me. In fact, I called Tyner ahead of the delivery date TWICE to confirm it. One said yes, the other was a bit more iffy on the subject, but more or less said they should be able to help, provided I ask them to.When the drivers get here today, I ask them if they're willing to take the old reclining sofa down to the dumpster. The first driver nodded and together they took old sofa out in front of my apartment doorstep. They then installed the new sofa, had me sign some paperwork then went out the door. Based on the previous conversation I had with the two phone reps AND the conversation I had with the driver 5 minutes prior, I was under the impression they would take the old sofa with them as they left. "Easy", I thought to myself.I go outside an hour later to get my mail and boom--there is my reclining sofa: sitting unceremoniously on the 2nd floor of my apartment building in all of it's 650lb glory, waiting for me to drag it down 2 flights of stairs. Alone. After I finally get the reclining sofa out to the street by myself, I call Tyner and explain the situation. The operator insists it must have been a "miscommunication" with the driver. I remind the operator that I called ahead of time twice to confirm they would do this. This time, the operator says she doesn't know who I spoke with, but it's a liability to the drivers to do that (which is ironic, considering they left me to carry a recliner sofa down 2 flights of stairs alone). She then said, I would have had to work it out with the drivers myself. I pause for a moment, then say, "right, I asked them to do it and they nodded they would". This prompts her to say again it must have been a communication issue. At this point, it's clear to me I got 3 different answers, but the correct answer should have just been "no, they won't take your old couch for you" from the start. Frankly, I don't think I would've ordered the couch if I had known this was the after-sale service I could expect. The new sofa is nice, but the service leaves a stain on the finished product.
Carol Konesko: Great! Quality and great staff. Can't wait to get our recliners!
Joann P: Tina and the team at Tyner are amazing. My mother was hospitalized for a stroke earlier this week. When she was transferred to a stretcher for transport to the hospital, her lift chair was damaged. We were in urgent need of a replacement after my mother was discharged. Even though their deliveries were booked well into the following week, Tina, her manager, and the delivery team worked to provide us a same day delivery. What a blessing! A huge thank you to these amazing people!
Stephanie Benedict: It's big and quiet, although there is background music. Salesperson didn't use a computer for the order. They didn't have furniture to take home today, you have to go to the warehouse or get it delivered.
Donald Zoltowski jr: Big store, very nice staff. Our sale person Kat was very knowledgeable.
Bruce Popejoy: Went looking for a new recliner, found one. Anne Marie greeted us at the door and showed us a wide variety of chairs...and we found one. Anne Marie showed us many upholstery, electric or manual, leg colors. New chair is ordered and we can not wait.
JS H: Overall, they have good furniture and you can get a good deal. Evan was very nice.
Bill Williams: Our bedroom set is beautiful. Can't wait to get it.
Renee Dallas: Spent two afternoons with sales associate, Tina Perry, choosing four entire rooms of furniture. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Her design expertise was invaluable as this could have been a very daunting task. She was up front regarding the supply chain delays, although it still took quite a bit longer than anticipated. When the furniture was delivered, I was extremely pleased. The quality of all the furniture is outstanding and the delivery was smooth and efficient. The only complaint that I had was that the manufacturer failed to provide the necessary hardware for the placement of the mirror on one of the bedroom dressers. I notified Tina of the issue and she immediately started to work on obtaining the appropriate hardware and will have someone come back out to install. All in all, a good experience.
rhonda keister: We purchased a lazy boy rocker recliner 2/26/21 we could not have had a more professional salesman Paul Hall he went above and beyond to see that we were getting what we wanted and needed. He explained that due to the pandemic we would be a few months no problem. When we picked up the chair on 7/17/21 it was wrapped didn't realize there was a problem until later. It didn't sit right nor did the lever work smoothly. We called and explained, someone was sent out on 8/25/21 he said he didn't even need to sit in it he could tell by looking at it. He arranged pickup on 11/27/21, we received it back in December with the problem only worsening. We have been spoke to like we need instructions as to how to maneuver a recliner. We have two old lazy boys and have never had a problem. Lazy boy stores don't want to get involved due to us not purchasing it through them. Understandable! Not only has this been a major headache but a financial hardship due to $934.73 dollars later we have a chair that is defective. I would never recommend Tyners, customer service is ultimately important
Scott Ostrom: We visited Tyner Furniture while we were looking to invest in a couch and recliner. Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the products and fabrics Tyner had to offer. We were very pleased with the service he provided.
Lissa Perrin: We recently purchased a chair at Tyner. Our sales person, Nick, was knowledgeable and helpful, answering all our questions. He was upfront about the supply chain issues and length of the wait for delivery. We appreciated having information like that so that we could factor it into our decision making.
Patrick Willliams: Just purchased an Ekornes stressless chair and ottoman. Nick guided us through the decision making process - which chair best fit my husband, leather choice, color of base, etc. Nick made what could have been an anxiety producing event into a pleasurable experience. Ask for Nick if youare shopping for a stressless chair !
Mercy Riot: Went there to shop for a new couch ~ my husband ended up finding a lazy boy chair he really liked~ Paul was amazing, went throughout the whole store with us trying to find something that would work for me, cause I'm super picky ~ I didn't find a couch~ but we did buy this chair for my husband!!! I've always enjoyed shopping here over the years!! Good sturdy furniture at a decent price ~ great customer service!!!
Greg Tyler: Bruce is the best, as are all the sales staff. Never pressure sales, they let their beautiful pieces do the talking. You can't go wrong here!!!
Dee & Ron Rose: We were 100% pleased with the purchase of a couch and chair. Everything was perfect! Catherine Russeau listened to our needs and found us exactly what we wanted, thank you. She provided excellent customer service from the moment we met her until her phone call to assure that we were satisfied following delivery. We would highly recommend Tyner Furniture!
Silvia Ciuk: Bought a Lift chair and a Sectional and had a very nice experience. The Sales Consultant, Nicholas Packett was extremely helpful and accommodating and very friendly. I highly recommend Tyner Furniture and for the best service, ask for Nicholas!
Lori Delhey: Nicholas Packett was great, he knew Tyner’s. and what they had to offer. Very helpful, but not pushy.. They had exactly what we needed which was a small condo size couch.
Adam Nielsen: We keep going back….. ask for Catherine Russeau. She’s treated us right for years.
