Erin Ranville: Excellent service. The staff there clearly care about the dogs in their care. The facility is very clean and the intake/pickup process is quick and very safe. The staff are very responsive to dog-mom update requests during boarding and let us know right away if there are any problems.

Now, the minute we pull into the parking lot, Oscar gets incredibly excited and always makes a beeline for the door to go in and play with all his dog friends. He comes home exhausted and happy!

He loves it & always needs a “boot scoot” to get him to leave the building. I believe going to Breed Above has helped socialize Hutch & tire him out!

M W: Cannot even give it 1 star. Just called 3/27 11:29 to get rates and questions on bringing our dog there. They want a 1st night deposit and if you have to cancel for whatever reason you lose the deposit. I asked the girl what if that person literally had an emergency or something terrible happen - she then put me on hold for 8 minutes, never coming back on and then one has to listen to the most annoying music ever. Out of 9-10 facilities I have called, this is the only one charging a deposit. Which leads me to believe there is a definite problem there. Sorry but no I would not bring my dogs there. And scrolling through to the bad reviews, definitely not.

Tanushree Shirodkar: This place is the best for boarding. They have people taking care of the fur babies all night unlike all other places where dogs are left alone for almost 12hrs by themselves. I can trust by babies here and know that they will be safe and loved.

Kangqi Parsonage: My dog Monty loves to go to the daycare and the hotel stay. He cries with excitement all the way to the facility every time I take him in the car. The last hotel stay he was allowed to take his bed (to put on top of the hotel bed) so he could have a sense of home and wouldn’t miss us too much. Thank you to all the staff who work there!

John Cheek: The team at Breed Above is fantastic. They’ve been taking care of our 10 1/2 yr old Cavalier Jazz since 2017, and even though we moved away from Ann Arbor, we still drive nearly a hour to take him to Breed Above when we travel. He recently wasn’t feeling great during a stay, and they got him special food, whisked him off to a quick vet visit, and gave us daily updates. Breed Above is a premium day stay and overnight kennel and worth every penny!

Sean Handler: I recently tried to make a grooming appointment for my dog Ru Paul. On top of having to get vaccination records all over again (they require this almost every time I've tried to make an appointment), there was some terrible miscommunication in which I was never informed that a dog groomer who could actually do a haircut for my dog was not available. So when my dog was brought over, they assumed he was only there for a "wash and brush" which doesn't even come with a haircut. When someone asks for a "grooming appointment", that usually assumes they want a haircut for their dog.When I expressed my displeasure I was told that the person who I had been texting with was not even aware of this because my dog's breed was also misprinted in their records, even though he has been to the facility before and has in fact had a haircut done there previously. So they are aware of what sort of breed he is (he is a toy poodle/french bulldog mix with curly fur). Breed Above needs to work on their communication between staff and customer, and ensure that this sort of thing doesn't happen.

Peter Slutzker: They took care of Honeybear for almost two weeks while I was out of the country and did an amazing job providing updates and making sure she was safe around other people's dogs as she can be pet reactive. A very reasonable rate for the peace of mind they provided with caring for my pet. Would definitely leave Honeybear in their care again.

Christiana was the first person to EVER watch Minnow, and as a first time puppy owner, I was nervous to have someone I didn't know take her for the weekend! Flash forward to 6 months later, I feel very confident reaching out to Christiana knowing that Minnow will be in good hands with her, or one of her team members. I know Minnow will get exercise, playtime and snuggles while she is with this crew! Highly recommend!

Sarah Healy: I had Christiana watch my energetic boxer while away for a few days. I have used doggie daycares in the past and have refused to go back based on terrible experiences. I was reluctant to leave my dog with someone that wasn't close friends or family but am SO happy I took the chance on Christiana. She came over a week before our trip to meet us and our dog and learn any quirks or needs before we dropped him off. She was incredible with updates the whole time we were gone and was so thorough with her care. She even noted small irritations on our boy's skin, which made me feel like she really cared and looked after him while we were gone.Will 1000% be using Christiana again!

Any time we go out of town, I feel absolutely relieved and comforted knowing that Christiana is watching our pups.The first time we used Christiana's Pet Care was for one night of overnight boarding. I was initially a little nervous about it because one of our dogs is a high energy 40-lb puppy and I thought she might be a lot for someone to handle, but Christiana took incredible care of her and our other dog. Again, Christiana went above and beyond, not just taking care of their basic needs, but also taking them to play dates with other puppies, treating them to pup cups at Starbucks, and giving them extra long walks. She also sent lots of pictures, videos, and updates! Our high energy pup was happy and exhausted for days afterward.Because Christiana did such an amazing job, we also asked her to take our high energy pup for a play date on a weekend when we were unable to take her to the dog park. Christiana came by to pick her up and, noticing that our other dog seemed sad not to be joining, took both dogs with her! So incredibly thoughtful and kind of her, and really shows how when she says she'll take care of your pups like they're her own, she means it.I'm going to be so sad to leave AA and not have Christiana to help with our pups, but her future clients are lucky to have her!

We boarded our pup with Christiana for about a week and it was our first time ever leaving him. I instantly felt comfortable with Christiana and that feeling was only enhanced throughout the experience.By every metric, Christiana provided outstanding service. We invited her to stay at our apartment, and she was the perfect houseguest. We received daily updates which were chock full of our pup's favorite activities and adorable photos. Christiana really didn't miss a detail -- every specific thing we told her about our dog she was completely keyed in on, and ensured that he had the best possible staycation he could've.Without a doubt, we will be using Christiana's Pet Care every time we have to go out of town. We'd give a sixth star if we could!

Sarah Kreuzer: Do not hire peaceable pets for cat sitting. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Left for two weeks and came home to a very messy house where the cat had knocked over plants and clocks and there’s was litter from his box all over the floor. I guess it didn’t occur to Marcy, the woman assigned to our cat, to pick any of it up. She never even fully cleaned the litter box that whole time. I guess it’s in the fine print on the website that it’s an extra $10 for a complete litter box cleaning. After we came home she held onto our house key and delayed on getting it back to me for a week and a half after multiple requests because it’s in their policy to hold onto peoples house keys for the next time their service is needed?? And guess what, if you what it back it’s another $10 fee. Absolute scam and creepy that it’s their policy.The worst part of everything is that my young cat while we were gone was able to eat several things like hairbands (don’t know where he found them) and now they’re clogged in his intestines. I’ve payed almost $1000 trying to fix him but can’t afford surgery so he is likely going to be put down. I’m very tempted to blame this service that their poor care of my cat is why we are in this situation now. Before I went out of town I had a perfectly healthy cat. I’m totally heartbroken.

Michelle Li: This is a review for dog walking, doggy daycare, and dog boarding.I found Peaceable Pets after a very thorough vetting (I am convinced I should have been cast in the movie Best in Show--yes, that is how much of a crazy dog lady I consider myself). Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet’s Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars.Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers:1. She understands my dog’s unique personality, quirks, and needs.2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog.3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while.4. I trust her 100%.5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn’t even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign.6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare....I could go on and on.As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion.To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. They are the absolute best.
