Stephanie Ossowski: After all the raving reviews I was pumped to place an order with UP. I sent them one black and white image to print on the back of a dark sweatshirt, centered and even. Unfortunately the placement was pretty crooked (by almost an inch). I contacted their customer service and they were quick to respond. They didn’t address the uneven printing but offered me a discount for the quality or a refund.The shipping was faster than anticipated so that was great. But I would've gladly sacrificed a longer ship time had it meant my order would've been right the first time.

Claire Foster: Underground printing made our 100+ unit sweatshirt order so easy in every way. I had done orders of t-shirts before through other companies where I had to design the clothing, take the orders, collect the money, and distribute the orders myself. It was always a huge hassle and we never had a great turnout because the product wasn't that impressive. UGP, on the other hand, handled everything for us. They did the design, handled the licensing, and took all of the orders and payments on their awesome POGO service. The sweatshirts were even individually wrapped by order and labeled by name when I picked them up which made handing them out so easy. The sweatshirts were really good looking and the quality was great. We ended up with 3x the amount of orders we normally get because they were that good. We even had to do a second order of 50+ because so many people saw the finished product and wanted to order after the fact. UGP made this second order even easier by allowing people to ship their orders to their own home. I have recommended them to friends and family alike since this experience.

e p.: I called to get a quote for 20-30 t-shirts, did not give any indication as to a time frame needed or what would even be on the shirt other than a 3-color business logo on the front and back. My boss asked me just to inquire if it’s acceptable to provide our own shirts or do we need to buy the shirts from the printers directly as part of the process...I fully expected the latter but told my boss I would ask anyway. The first two companies I called politely said they don’t accept customer-provided shirts and then gave me quotes for their equivalent styles. Elmo said very special customers sometimes can provide their own, to which I said I understand, it’s fine to not do that as I was just curious. Then instead of quoting me other options he proceeded to tell me it’s like asking a restaurant to cook a steak I brought in, they make their money on the shirts, and if customers provide them they have to charge more for the other parts of the service...ok, I understand. Then he continued to say it’s Art Fair weekend (not relevant to my call) and I can’t expect to have multi-colored designs printed on such short notice (they couldn’t do it until August, which would’ve been fine, I never mentioned a time frame) and not even buy the shirts from them, which I never said was a dealbreaker, it literally was just a question. He then said he respectfully would need to just say no, he can’t even give us a quote. It was a very strange phone call and clearly misinterpreted. Fortunately other local printing companies want the business and were willing to offer alternatives without the contention.

It seemed that he is constantly making new topical shirts. The sweatshirt I purchased is extremely comfortable and warm. Overall a great experience, I will definitely buy some more items!
