Monahan's Seafood Market Inc: what do users think?
Ebru Herzog Uras: Always a treat to both enjoy food there, or take good to cook at home.
Kelly S: Actually made it back to Monahans today. They only have oyster po'boys on Saturday, so minor disappointment. However, the fish & chips, lobster bisque & teriyaki salmon were SO GOOD! I've been craving eating here for 5 years & was very happy to be here.
Devin Pringle: I have been trying to find good Finnan Haddie (smoked haddock) so that I can make a proper Irish seafood chowder, and they have it. They were really nice to talk to, and packaged up my fish so that I could take it back to Lansing. If you need a good seafood market with good proximity to everything else you need, it’s worth the drive.
Mckinley Garcia: Bless the mf Monahan’s 🙌🏽
K P: Amazing!
Savannah H: The food is DELICIOUS. Honestly the best lobster bisque and calamari I’ve ever tried. The fries are amazing too. The worker, Ani, was super nice and helpful.
Holly Perry: Originally from the east coast, and I have been craving good oysters…hard to come by out here. Just had the oyster po’boy, and OH BOY!! Oysters were sweet, crispy, and absolutely delicious!!
Benjamin Wilson: Best seafood market in the Midwest! Amazing selection, fresh seafood flown in daily from all over the world. Also a great spot to grab lunch.
Teddy Tran: I've only ever had lunch here, but every meal has been great! The staff are extremely friendly and this place always crosses my mind whenever I'm craving seafood for lunch. While I have yet to buy ingredients from here, the presentation of their iced seafood is impressive.
David Aguilar: Excellent fish n chips! Will come back to try more of their offerings:)
Somnath Roy: Salmon burger and fish & chips are my favorite here. Got lot of other choices also. Love this place.
Rorie Merz: Monahan's is always the first place we want to go when heading to Ann Arbor. I'm glad to report that they are shucking oysters again. Mike (the owner) shucked them for us personally. They were fantastic. It was Wednesday and the special of the day was Thai shrimp with rice and Asian slaw. That also was delicious. Crispy fried wild gulf shrimp with a sweet/spicy Thai sauce. What ever you do ALWAYS order the chowder of the day!!!! I don't know what Wednesday's chowder was.....other than chuck full of seafood. That is the best freaking chowder we've ever had!!We got lucky and were able to sit at the counter. We over heard everyone's order and I think I heard at least 6-7 orders of fish and chips (which I've had here before and it was phenomenal). One person ordered 8 salmon patties uncooked to go (I think she bought all they had made for the day LOL)Their are so may other things that we want to try so we'll just need to keep coming back. And a shout out to the pickled herring selection!!
Canela Zacharopoulos: The best calamari we have had in years!
John Bolf: Love monahans for starters. Unfortunately my fish and chips this warm friday was slammed with high schoolers, waited until 1pm when they left. Weird batter was inedible peeled it away fish was fine, even weirder I got maybe a dozen burned fries and tartar overflowing it’s cup. Should have taken it back but on balance the fishmonger has provided me with good lunches for many years. And I was hungry! I should have known when the staff told me food would be ready in five minutes something was amiss. See you another day.
Kay Bobbobcat: Fantastic oysters and calamari
Ryan VanAcker: Excellent fish and chips !!! Love this place ❤️
Franco Matzke Oliver: I’ll keep it simple. Try everything. Fish and chips though…..one of the best around. Another great experience. Great service, amazing food. See you next time.
Emilia Fichter: Really fresh, really tasty. Depending on availability/season this shop offer nice cuts of fish and prepared food. My favorite is Mackerel. Price is competitive and service is super kind so you just need to season and drop it in the oven. They can also recommend spices to shop.
David Russell: This place is a top notch seafood market. Ask questions, trust them!!! If you are lucky enough to be around 11am to 3pm order lunch from their counter. Fish and chips takes about 10 minutes and the tartar sauce alone will make it worth it!!! But honestly- the fries are awesome and the fish.....ohhh the fish. Comes with a lemon and tartar, I recommend you ask for a second tarter, I eat it on my fries!!!
Maxim Molnar: the salmon burger is 🙏🏼💕😍
Andi W: Excellent quality seafood. I stopped in for some fresh smoked salmon and sushi grade fish.

Durham's Tracklements and Smokery: what do users think?
Lisa Barbee: Their smoked trout is a delightful treat. Ellen is awesome!!
Ken Marcy: Hidden Ann Arbor gem that is stones throw from Zingerman’s Deli. Been going here for years and can’t recommend highly enough. If you like smoked salmon this will change your life—well ok at least your definition of what great tastes like when it comes to smoked salmon and everything else will pale in comparison. If you don’t like smoked salmon there is still hope—this will make you a convert and if not you tried the best. Have sent to friends on East Coast and locally, and they concur. Only regret is that I didn’t discover it sooner in their long history. I have no skin in game so to speak, just enjoy sharing about great people making great quality product—all the better that it’s in Ann Arbor! My personal favorites are highland and pecan smoked but can’t go wrong. Stay with cold smoked in my opinion.
xueqing wu: Their smoked fish are just so good 💯
Just J: Amazing product!! Truly the best of the best. Worth every penny. I only wish I lived closer. Open up shop in PA!
Knut Simonsen: One of those special places that make Ann Arbor unique. A must visit for locals and visitors. Best smoked fish outside Norway!
Raj Jayaraman: The best smokery anywhere I have found. So fortunate to have it close by
Rob Thomas: The greatest smoked salmon I've ever enjoyed. I've been lucky enough to visit New York, to visit Scotland, to see Ireland and I've made a point of seeking out the best smoked salmon. Nothing tops Tracklements.
Natalya Vorobtsova: salmon was delicious!
Benjamin Wilson: Best smoked fish in the Midwest. Highland cold smoked salmon is to die for!
Victor Aguilar: Generous portions at reasonable prices. Personal favorite is the flaky char for wheat crackers. The sable is another favorite, with its perfect buttery texture
Peter McHale: First of all, this place has the best smoked salmon I've ever had. Good friends of mine and I have been hooked on the stuff like a drug ever since someone recommended the place to us. It's to a point where I am excited to introduce it to people who haven't had it before, and there's often skeptics of great seafood away from the coasts. When I bring some of their smoked salmon to a skeptic, every time they agreed that it's the best they've had.Second of all, the people who work here are some of the kindest people you will meet. Buying great product from good people just makes the experience all the better. I don't know what more to say, try it.
Nate Kleinman: Only the best smoked fish you'll find. Go there regularly to get access to their specials (like smoked scallops, finnan haddie, or whiskey-marinated salmon). I don't live in Ann Arbor, but I get the hot-smoked miso-mirin salmon every time I'm in town.
Alex K: Excellent customer service.
Chris Sand: This fish is amazing. The quality, care, and flavor go above and beyond what one typically gets from any prepackaged grocers shelves. I've been coming to DT's for multiple years and will continue to do so as long they remain in business. Photos eventually, the fish doesn't remain uneaten long enough to get pics.
Allen Brooks: The cured and smoked salmon here is excellent. I was just in Sweden and the salmon here was as good as any I had there.
Kevin Miller: Awesome
Georgeann Galante: Best smoked fish in the world!
Joe Gibes: Amazing fish!
Jeanne May Dial: The best smoked fish you can find. Great people, great service, best quality.
K B: Ellen was superb! She went above and beyond to help me send an order of Fin and Haddy to me MIL for her birthday. It was the best service I have ever had!
Lawrence Zlatkin: The best, and I'm a smoked fish snob from the East Coast! Local, home smoked, fabulous foodie quality salmon, trout, sable and white fish. It doesn't get any better.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Krystalyn Katz-Page: Literally love shopping here and would recommend you grab your groceries here. Yes it’s a little more costly than other shopping locations, however, I must state it’s well worth your buck.-It’s always clean, well-lit, and a great shopping experience.-The hot/cold food is always fresh and nicely stocked.-There is a section for household necessities and body essentials; also nicely stocked.-The servers and cashiers are very helpful and efficient.-Not to mention it’s Amazon return center is very efficient and they have Amazon lockers.
Joshua Polaczyk: Great Whole Foods. Nice staff. Fresh products and a nice spot to return Amazon products!
Joel Lee: Did you know, they donate their extra produce and energy to the Creature Conservatory!? Jean, Awesome contribution.
Eddie Smith: Great Whole Foods store. Good service and great selection. Only criticism is during rush hour this place gets packed and they could use more cashiers, bakery, and deli workers during that time.
John Watts: Whole Foods Market has great healthy foods.
Geekstronomy: Wish they still had the bar
Colleen Johnson: This store is always clean and organized and every single person that works there is friendly and helpful! I ordered my first catering order there and the food presentation looked amazing! Also the store director Larry Austin is the kindest, knowledgeable, and friendly person I have ever met!
Paul Stewart: They have everything organic and the prices are ok, can't complain
nick stauder: Absolutely awful, ordered for delivery and after being 2 hours late contacted me and and told me they just aren't bringing my groceries, but will hold my money for 5 days
Michelle Kulkoski: I'm glad they kept the fish wall and the meat case in place. But all of the changes, and no one can tell me it's because of covid. You took the deli case out. You took the pork counter out. You took the brick oven for pizzas out. The sweets counter for individual cakes and other items, gone. The fruit and vegetables are so close together that I couldn't manage my cart. I probably will be back, but I'll have my husband shop for us and not together.
Marsha: Beautiful store BUT went in for puff pastry - over $11 a box? Outrageous!
Andrew Gill: Loved it so much I decided to make a career out of it!!!
Diana Maria: If you go to buy groceries from this store, be aware they sell a lot of expired meat and products. Read the expiration date on every product you buy.
Andrea Bradley: Amazing food bar and an amazing staff!
Surendra Manjrekar: It is nice with lots of choices.
Mohammed (Mo): The guy who works in the self checkout area is absolutely amazing and very friendly.
Bob Sornson: It's not the old WF experience
Bruce Geffen: It's so close and accessible with just about everything I need or want. Some items I get at locally owned grocery stores because price is cheaper at other places. Whole Foods owned by Amazon... what more is there to say?
Merry Sanches: Ricos pasteles😘
Mari Rymar: Beautiful space with wonderful food, hot and cold
Charles Carlson: Yup, all good, but online shopping has certainly changed the landscape. Too easy to shop multiple places from home at the same time. Buyers market 4 sure. 🤔

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Dain Evans: I think the almonds in the almond butter grinder have been sitting in there too long. The almond butter I bought was rancid, but still in date according to the label.
david clemons jr: I love Whole Foods. I'm especially a fan of the hot bar.
Eric F: Go to order a pizza and they tell me they are out of dough? No flour, yeast and water in a grocery store? Sure buddy. What a joke. Hire employees who want to work and want to take money.
Charles Carlson: The Whole package!
Mary Lemmer: Great Whole Foods! Clean, easy to find things, and friendly customer service.
Eddie Smith: Great Whole Foods store. Great selection, good service, plenty of parking, and excellent location in terms of main roads in and out of the community as well as the nearby highway.
David Lutes: Whole foods is a good place to get real food, but not cheap by any means. Customer service leaves much to be desired. It's just another division of Amazon.
Banafsheh Sadeghi: Friendly staff and great selection particularly on flowers
Jin Simmz: Who can't like this place
Michael St.John: Great stuff. Expensive but lots of good stuff here.
Angie Bu: Great selection of food in a convenient location
Panagioti Apostolou: We shop WFM for specific items. The 365 salad kits are very good and at a nice price point. Also, they have a good cheese selection.
Jennifer Tislerics: Expensive! But high quality foods and goods. Amazing variety in the self-serve food bars and made-to-order areas. Seating area available for eating the food purchased.
Alain Mai: The artisan breads are better there 5han at the Washtenaw store.
Nikita Wright: Whole Foods Market the staff members are really friendly and helpful. Hand sanitizer is stationed throughout the store. Food quality is excellent.
Michael Alexander: NOT CLEAN
Sarah Jane Uldricks: Have you ever wanted to feel judged just for existing? Whole Foods is the place for you!Bakery section is absolutely amazing, though.
Charles L: Still too expensive for every day shopping but every other aspect is very nice.
Jonathan Pan: They got caviar!
Hockey Mom 7: I prefer this Whole Foods over the other Ann Arbor store… Super close to where I live so I stop in often. The employees are always so helpful and friendly.
Deep Singh: Lots of healthy options and polite staff. Keep up the great work...

Trader Joe's: what do users think?
Mark Baker: Very friendly and helpful staff assisted us in finding gluten-free items. The store is well stocked, well lit and a pleasant environment.
Everett Palmer: Great selection, great people, great prices.... In my book, that's a five!
Jeffrey Smith: Great service
Nickol Beason: Great atmosphere clean and everyone is very
Chris Biddle: They keep cancelling my favorite foods. The produce is not good quality. But I'm done here. Everything I have ever really liked here has been discontinued. What's the point of shopping here when what you like will eventually be gone. I'm out. I'm only coming back until they discontinue my favorite crackers.
nader almutairi: Love their products a bit pricey but worth for the quality
Jamie Lee: Took my boyfriend to TJ's for his first time today, and he loved it so much that he bought* me flowers on the way out. He's welcome.*I picked out a bouquet, and the cashier told me, "They're on the house for you today."
李岳宗: 應有盡有
Chris Swigart: Clean, a little busy, but hey... it's TJ. Fresh flowers for a decent price. Love the Madrigal cheese, especially for$6.99 /lb! Wish there was one closer !
Dan Negrin: staff is friendly and helpful. i never regret shopping here and always find something new and great to enjoy.
Jordan Gillo: Always a great experience. This week I was in tears in the parking lot (just had one of those days). I collected myself, went in, grabbed my stuff, and checked out in Maddie’s line. She was amazing. She was so sweet, overheard I was having a bad day and gave me the plant I was going to impulsively buy myself to try and make my day better. Which then made me cry again, but happy kind. I went back to hug her, embarrassing tears steaming down my face, and she was so sweet. Just the moment I needed, to know there are good people in the world. It made my whole week ❤️
Abdulla A: It's Trader Joe's! Pretty laid back experience and lots of good finds especially in the freezer section. I love the flower options, affordable and pretty
Craig Pfeifer: Great products, love the store size, makes for easy in and out. Parking lot is a hassle, staff are wonderful. Busy during the school year, dead when school is out. Sunday morning is the perfect time to go!
Victor Narezo: Love Trader Joes. So many interesting foods can be found here. Prices are great too!
Bruce Geffen: It's Trader Joe's! What more could you want?
Sean P: Good stuff. Good Service.
Calisa Reid: They really care about their customers and their products are excellent.
Marilynn Voss: Love the array of unique & special food items.
Barry Chapman: Good selection of fresh foods - nice employees
Jerry M Denton: Store is great. Pack some patience for parking, it’s hectic sometimes.
Yolanda Grisales Trentadue: Couldn't live without it :-)

Busch's Fresh Food Market: what do users think?
Tom McKarns: Great to have a quality local owned grocery store chain here! Good produce and nice selections in a smaller store.
Angel Tan: Fish Fry is not good! I had heartburn afterwards, must reused old oil to save money. I eat fish fry regularly and never had heartburn.Terrible! Stay away!
Leann Kuebler: Great grocery store.
Venson Toreja: Get the 4 berry fruit pie. It's $17, but worth it. They caramelize the crust so it's not soggy.
Anthony Young: Michigan made products. Clean and friendly.
Tori Mazur: Got a free sample and great service
Howard Watts: My regular grocery store for many years - a great balance of good quality produce, value and service.
Matt Cantillon: This a higher end local grocery chain with an excellent selection and reasonable prices. Excellent performance during the pandemic.
Laura Wade: The store is clean and the staff I talked to were friendly over all I was happy with them
Alexis Reyes: Has lots of specialty items and great fresh food. Go to Meijer if you're looking for something too niche or specific
Tim Schutz: Too expensive.
Patricia Dowker: Great grocery store
Jim Zemina: Carrie and Castor are always friendly, and say "Hello". They also have a Super-duper Deli with the staff that give great recommendations.
Cynthia Woods (CeCee): Great price on meat at the counter . Knowledgeable butcher very friendly. Wish closer to my location. I left both my phones in bathroom 1/2 way home went back and the service desk had them. Plan on going back today 😃

Elsie Casiano: Excellent.
Jodie Antieau: Lots of different items
Jacob Buckland: A nice grocery store.
Becky Gilbert: The bottle return machines work here!

Busch's Fresh Food Market: what do users think?
Nicole: The best grocery store around! I don't like to cook for myself so I always see what precooked meals they have available. It's also fun to browse their desserts and cheeses. The staff is always extremely friendly as well. It's always a great experience coming here!
Mehdi Ted Tadayon: So convenient and a bunch of varieties
Susan (Susan): Terrible thought I was receiving a catered tray of fruit and veggies and got this instead. EmbarrassingStore was not organized. No one had paperwork. 2 orders placed and they looked totally different from one day to the other.
Matthew Niedner: This is a great grocery store. It's more upscale than Kroger, but also not a pricey as Plum Market or Whole Foods. They have a very solid collection of all the essentials you want at a supermarket, but it has a smaller feel and some nice higher-end items in the deli and produce areas. The staff are friendly and helpful. Mostly cashiers plus a small self check out lane.
Michelle Kulkoski: Fresh produce, cut up daily. Sushi made on-site. Unique food items throughout the store. Someone always willing to answer your questions. And they have an amazing assortment of wine.
Amy: This is the mid grocery shop here on North side. Kroger, Busch, Plum. They aren’t the cheapest but higher quality in certain items than Kroger. Get your main staples at Kroger, your specialized things here, and fruit at Plum. Their fish fry during Lent is amazing and their daily sushi is decent for price. Their frozen scones are the best!
nader almutairi: The reason I go here is because of the fresh fruits and veggies. otherwise everything else is pricey.
Chuck Loftis: First visit to this location. Impressed. Not so much impressed by two Staff who couldn't direct me to bulk Pepito dispenser, found it on my own.
William Beavers: They have cashiers and good stocking. Pricing is a little high.
Katerina Fomicheva: Love this local store. A little bit of pricey but usually have great deals on local products.
Ca Lew: Good looking meats and vegetables. Clean and nice staff. Not the mass variety of a krogers but they have the majority of my grocery shopping business.
Allison Forest: Busch's is an overall great grocery store. Yes, the prices are a bit more than big chains like Kroger and Trader Joe's but the trade off comes in the excellent environment and customer service. The entire store feels very clean and is well stocked, both in everyday items but also in some more specialty selections. The employees are all very nice and have gone out of their way to help me out, doing things like guiding me directly to where an item is located or starting to scan my basket while I run to grab another item.
G Knott: Update: I came here last year, and was disappointed by the meat and seafood department. However after speaking to the manager, it looks like they have made some serious changes that have improved quality and service. They went from a 1 star review to a 5 star review in just a couple months. Thanks you to the management for listening
Selena B.: This is our local grocery store so I go to it every single week and always find items well-stocked and the people are friendly. The online ordering website could be a little bit cleaner. Some items don't have photos or the search bar doesn't bring up what I'm looking for. But it's always ready on time and they give you a choice on the checkout page of whether or not you are okay with them skipping an item or swapping the item for a similar product.
Rick Carter: Much better customer service than, say, Kroger's, and the check-out lines move quicker. My go-to.
Avin Vijay: Busch's is pretty good for local produce. They are slightly more expensive than Kroger but much cheaper compared to Plum or Whole foods. They do have a pretty good seafood counter amongst the local grocery stores!
James Rees: You're typical neighborhood busch's. Friendly staff. Clean.
Khalid Walton: They often have expired foods out for sale. Pay close attention to the dates. Besides that, it's a nice option for groceries at a reasonable price.
Mike: A typical grocery store. High prices unfortunately.
Lower Michigan: I like this chain it is nice
Arlene C: Today, I must admit I've always had great service. Compared to the changes of how grocery stores provide service I appreciate a LIVE person to greet me. Torrie, is the best! He greets me with a smile and engages in conversation. Unfortunately, I can’t say much about MARY, the store manager. I purchased a couple of LOTTO tickets and had a coupon to use. First off, she didn't greet me as I purchased my tickets. She appeared she didn't have any knowledge of the LOTTO as I asked her I wanted to purchase the BIG game (Powerball). When I handed her my coupon, she couldn't figure out how to enter it into the system. She looked flustered. I asked her if she was going to scan it, thinking that might help and her response was as she turned around and said “do you want to do it yourself?) 🤦🏽‍♀️😫i said no, I thought my suggestion would help, BUT she was rude. After about 7 minutes of standing there, while she was trying to figure out what she was suppose to do, a customer stopped by and wanted to ask her a question. Rather than her acknowledge the poor man, he walked away. Perhaps, Busch’s needs to retrain managers so that they set the example of managing the store. MARY needs to check herself and maybe go back to the being a cashier or stock person in the freezer so she doesn't have to deal with customers.#poorcustomerserviceatBusch’sAnnArbor

Kroger: what do users think?
Kelsey M: Not enough staff so everyone has to go through self-checkout with full carts of groceries which you can't fit in the bagging areas. Not a single cashier and the line for checkout is going down the aisle. One of the doors has been broken on and off for months and blocked off. So people who don't drive have to walk through the street because there's no sidewalk to get to the door that's actually open. Often out of hand baskets so you have to go find them at the self-checkout or go across the store to the closed entrance. The produce section is small for a grocery store. Poor selection in most departments. They'll have the exact same item in different 5 different brands but no variety in flavors or offerings. Price tags at times are missing or outdated.
Eileen Fields: Huge with everything you need to make dinner or for a midnight snack! 😁
Larry Berry: I love Kroger! ❤️
Lelee: Worst Kroger I have ever been to. Store manager Brian does not know what he is doing. He refuses to hire any help knowing the store is filthy and dirty. Please do not give this store your business. Go to Meijer!
Marie Barksdale: For a Kroger is, this one is on the small side, but the location can be handy. The staff are friendly, and the store is generally clean. It’s not the best Kroger’s for a large family. Tends bit more towards health food as opposed to bulk food. Very lovely garden and gift shop. This location is very good for smaller and older families/households.If you were looking for more cheap, bulk large, family shopping, the Carpenter location is a good option. (it’s also across from an Aldi’s. So that is even more options to stop and get some bulk stuff for cheap! TBH, I still tend to stick with Kroger’s because I know where everything is and it’s reliably there. But it’s cool to have two options in the same location.)I do want to add that Kroger’s in general are very good at marking gluten-free items which is awesome. They are also very WIC friendly. This location is better than some. FWIW the best location for using WIC is actually the one off Michigan Ave. But it is also a pretty rough area
Kayla: Great that everything was stocked
Dixie Stewart: They need to hire cashier's. The self scan is supposed to be for a few items not full carts 😏
Vanessa Prophete: Worst Krogers I’ve never been to, Staff is not helpful, the assistant manager Cheyenne is very rude. Will not return.
Pierrelynn Prophete: Cheyenne "assistant customer service manager" needs a customer service course right away. This so-called manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. The customer service desk was closed due to being short staffed and apparently I disturbed her on her break because she said without looking at me while walking away "it's closed now and I'm on my break" although Barb (a cashier) was kind and willing to assist me she was not able to assist with money services. As a new resident of Michigan who lives in the immediate area I will never step foot inside this location again as it was a horrible experience. This team member should be reprimanded and should receive a one on one course on customer service and kindness. Thank you for the warm Michigan welcome Kroger. A special thank you to Cheyenne, your days are numbered in that store with such a poor attitude and treatment towards customers. Never again!
William Adams: Returned bottles and only 2 of the 3 were available. All aisles seemed ridiculously small, crowded and compact. I did recieve excellent service and girl scout cookies upon exiting. Bathrooms were clean and parking was reasonable.
Debra Murdock: Let's go Kroger ING that's the motto and Kroger ING we went. Good ppl and helpful large selection of product. I would def go back
Dominique Sarabia: Tim in vegetables was amazing! We saw they had no more shallots and Tim overheard us. He told us to wait while he went into the back to get us fresh shallots. He also gave us more fresh garlic as well. Tim is amazing ❤️
Richard Adler: Many items are usually out of stock or they can't get any. This is true especially if Kroger brand products forcing us to buy the expensive brand of the product
にゃんこ先生: 少しではあるが日本食材が置いてあるお店。豆腐や、冷凍食品、カップ麺などはここで揃う。野菜などは現地の物。ビールなども高いが日本の物を置いてある。
Bruce C: I miss Hiller's!
BALAJI RAO D: Very Good.
Brook Miller: Love this grocery store. It is in a great location and has a good selection of products.
Pick a Username: Whyyyy are kroger bottle returns so garbage?? In general though, how tf is every one of your stores bottle returns dirty and broken?? Meijer doesn't have that issue!! Except i shouldn't have to go to one specific place just to take bottles back. Ridiculous.
Aaron “Magnificent” Mood: Digital cuponsystem is a complete bait and switch scam. It's impossible to use the system unless you follow each step in order, otherwise your order is rug up at full charge.
Mike M.: I love Kroger and miss not having one to shop in down south.
Stefani Kaye: Service Desk never open, they aren't even following their temporary covid hours, how are people supposed to pay their bills? My rent is now 3 days late, with a $30 fee and Kroger Management is to blame. Was told by the skeleton crew of two cashiers working (very hard and trying to cover for their manager) that their manager is on break. We waited to speak to management about why they're so understaffed they don't offer services they legally have to, this is the reason they have liquor licenses and lottery kickbacks from the govnt, TO OFFER THESE services! management never showed face. pathetic. i hope if those two VERY hard working cashiers want a better job, its 18$ an hour over at U of M, no experience needed.

Kroger: what do users think?
Jeremy Crosmer: This Kroger recently began posting misleading signs which hide the retail price of their items. The "Price with Digital Coupon" is shown in big numbers, but the actual retail price is completely blocked by the black bar sleeve holding the sign. Because of this, I was charged $5 more on my grocery bill than I was expecting. Many customers will not notice and will end up paying much higher grocery bills. I have not seen this kind of misleading practice in other stores, so I felt it was important to share my experience with this store so customers can decide for themselves whether they want to risk being tricked by a sneaky marketing strategy. I will shop there less frequently than before, but if this signage is fixed to display the retail price very clearly, then I will take down this review and continue my normal shopping habits.
Upasana Thakuria: Good grocery store to get all basic essentials, not too fancy just simple
Dave Leland: Found exactly what I was looking for.
Qiling Zou: The produce shelf is always empty… and they seems short-staffed
Brian Kennedy: It's not their fault! The workers are doing their best. Inadequate staff. No checkout help. Kroger is an increasingly worsening experience for the customer and Kroger executives don't seem troubled by that. It's the closest grocery to my house and probably the cheapest but I am looking. The staff is friendly and as helpful as management let's them be.
Bruce Geffen: It's Kroger...corporate grocery through and through. Workers are awesome here!
Nicole Coleman: I was in Kroger last nite(4/1/2023) n there was a man jus in the parking lot walking up on cars wit women only, the man walked up on my car, I go in the store to let them know that there is a man in the parking lot harassing women, I was told that it wasn't their problem. Ladies please be careful when shopping at this location, if something was to happen to you in the parking lot, Kroger isn't gonna help u... I'm very disappointed in the management n employee at this store.....
Mario Sanchez Gumiel: Horrible place. I always struggle finding the groceries I need. The self-checkout is always overcrowded because they close other areas. Many times, the place is not very clean. The staff is most of the times checking their phones or talking. I assume they are not paid well. I could accept these points if prices were low, considering that they do not clean the place very often, they do not get enough groceries, and they do not pay well to the (small) staff. But not. Since the Covid lockdown, they have raised prices. I do think ALDI is much better.
Saurav T: Good place to shop for your daily needs although try to reach by afternoon otherwise a lot of fresh food items are out of stock.
Lea Charlton: Kroger the store is large and well-lit, staff are helpful, and prices tend to be really good.
Basic Joe: I dislike this Kroger so much. The staff is fine it’s the store itself - the store is not run well. Never enough staff, it’s dirty and expensive, they’re ALWAYS out of stuff and it’s check yourself out at all times. No help whatsoever. When I go to Meijer - my bill is half the price and I can find staff if I need assistance. The only reason this store exists is to prey on the North Campus students by overcharging for everything. If you can - go elsewhere, you’ll save more then you spend on transportation, you’ll actually have items on the shelf and staff is available.Kroger is a monopoly now and it’s glaring.
Jack Cawthon: What an absolute dismal excuse for a grocery store. This place seems to get worse every year, with now even longer waits due to only 2 lanes for self check out and perpetually shrinking aisles that you can’t even turn your cart around in. No blame to the workers who I know are trying their best, but the people at the corporate level should be ashamed at how awful this store is. You basically have to budget an hour plus on a weekend to get groceries of any kind.
C E: Doesn't have tap and pay or a way to manually input cards. Also really busy and service is variable. Finally the bathrooms are a complete state of mess not that that's huge but it is annoying.
Ирина Дыкуша: Nice
Michael Steelman: 9 Times out of 10 its worth it to go anywhere else. The selection and quality of produce is the worst in Ann Arbor. The online ordering experience at this specific location is a joke. The store is in total disarray
Brock Lahart: The people are friendly, but they often keep no lanes open other than self checkout. Busch's is very close by and almost always has full service checkout lanes open.
Kevin Osak: I just bought and ate the best apple turnover in my life. It was fresh and delicious. It was Kroger brand. I highly recommend them.
Christina V: The produce section is always completely empty lately and employees are just standing around talking or on their phones. I resent that I have to pay $7 for organic strawberries after sifting through the moldy ones because there’s no regular strawberries or anything. What little produce there might be is dead and sad looking
Bill Arnold: Only go if you have an hour to pick up 2 items. It is all self service, no cashiers. They argue with you about bottle returns, the lazy workers tell you there is no deposit or they dont sell the product without checking and then you have to go get the bottle to prove it, many times over. It is exhausting. I have lived in this neighborhood 25 years and the past 6 months I have watched this Krogers turn into dump. Empty shelves, dead produce, and the organic/health food (minimally processed) section has been eliminated and whats left dispersed through the store so the downgrade isn't so obvious. I shopped here for so long because it was closest and it used to be the best. Now, I guess it is mostly for students and those who are not so particular about the quality of food they eat. Hello Busch's.......
Paul F: Edit: increasing from 2 to 3 stars because they use awesome Cisco hold music. This location clearly struggles to find enough employees. On a Sunday evening, the produce was mostly empty. Typically the only checkout option is a bay of 6-8 self checkout stations with a decent line. On occasions when I need customer service, it is closed. "Closed" is a good way to describe this store's general approach to customer service. The store location is very convenient for many pedestrians, but I recommend going to one of the other grocery stores in the area for attention and selection.
