Zingerman's Greyline: what do users think?
Jim Robertson: Great venue for corporate events.
Bob Stefanski: Perfect venue for a party of 50-100+. Well laid out space and really terrific staff. Excellent sound system, everything you need to celebrate.
Christopher White: Meh.Not great, not horrible.Definitely does not live up to the Zingerman's name.Pros:Great location,Pleasant decorCons:Food was creative but subpar execution (other than the salad),Staff seemed annoyed, inexperienced at food service and ready to get out of there,Left there feeling like if I never went there again that would be fine.Could've been an off evening, but I wouldn't use them.
Top Notch Balloon Creations: Beautiful upscale venue with a staff to equally matches the vibe.
Brooke Squair: Great drink options and friendly staff. Beautiful venue.
Adriana Cedeno: Have your wedding here! As a guest who attended a wedding here I recommend.
Anne Baird: Our wedding reception was handled perfectly from the set up to the serving to the fantastic food. I cannot say enough about our event coordinator, Bryan, who worked with us for months to come up with the menu and room layout, and during the event to coordinate everything so that it turned out the way we expected.
Valerie Micol: If I could give 5 million stars, I would! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Zingerman's Greyline and catering are! We were originally supposed to have our wedding in April 2020, but the universe had other plans! Thankfully, the staff at Zingerman's were able to work with us to postpone to a later date. It finally happened May 2022, and I will say, it was even BETTER than I dreamed it would be after four years of engagement and two years of postponement. First, we worked closely with Bryan and Terra. These folks are absolutely amazing! You cannot get better than the customer service from Zingerman's! Both Bryan and Terra were knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful, and just so incredibly kind! It was not surprising then when the wedding day came and the rest of the staff were also so wonderful. It felt as if they all were there to make our day special and genuinely tried to make sure we had a wonderful time.Aside from the amazing customer service, the food was the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and many of our guests remarked the same. I loved how many options there were and how we were able to customize some things as well. We highly recommend the savory puffs and latkes for appetizers, the marinated beef and roasted potatoes for dinner, and the sliders and mac n cheese bar for the late night snack! We opted to go with individual fruit tarts for dessert, which is something that wasn't on the catering menu, but is something that the bakehouse made. Of course, they were delicious and so beautiful. Everything was truly amazing! Finally, the space itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the alcohol selection was top-notch! We loved how there really wasn't much decorating that needed to be done. The beers were mostly Michigan beer, which was also very important to us.We wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else. Thank you, Zingerman's, from the bottom of our hearts, for making our special day so very special! We will be recommending Zingerman's catering to everyone we know and using it for all of our special occasions in the future!
Jim Gibbons: Fine place to have a function with a great staff and tasty food. I attended an auction for the Ann Arbor Art Center. Very successful.
Emily Murphy: I want to throw every party at Greyline. The venue has a neat vibe that requires no decorating, and with Zingerman’s providing the food, you know it’s going to be good. Terra was fabulous to work with, incredibly accommodating with down-to-the-minute changes due to Covid, and went absolutely above-and-beyond (I will never forget her tracking down and picking up a keg of the most popular beer when it ran out early in the reception).
Nick Legitt: Great temperature. Great food. Great drinks. I like the sliding front door.
Katherine Ernsting: Great place to have an event!
Laura Wade: I got vaccinated there and the place is nice
Katie DaCosta: We came here for a tasting for Zingerman's catering and the event space is very clean, modern, and a great layout. The food, of course, was amazing!
Jordan Scott: Fantastic event space. So cool having it integrated with the hotel.
Vazir Fatehi: Went for an office end-of-the-year/holiday party and had a good time. The entrees were previously selected, but were not Zingerman's best, while the open bar was very good in terms of selection and service. Ther location is great though.
Aaron Glenn: Awesome performance space for The Moth
Robert Samplonius: They do a great buffet. Good mac & cheese
Trooper Long: Perfection!
C T: So yummy
Karly Smith: We had our 120 person wedding at Greyline and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue! It is gorgeous on the inside and more modern than your traditional wedding venue. We got so many compliments on the space as well as the food - some people said it was the best they'd ever had at a wedding! But the real star here is the staff. Stephanie, our event coordinator through Zingerman's, was immensely helpful and kind throughout the entire process. Her responses were prompt, she gave helpful suggestions, and she worked with us throughout the whole process to ensure it was a perfect day. She is the positive, calming, and organized presence you want leading up to and on your wedding day! The bartenders, waiters, and all staff we encountered were amazing. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue!

Misty Farm: what do users think?
Zeya Yang: We got married at Misty Farm in September and couldn’t be happier with the venue. The entire weekend, we and all of our guests were marveling at how beautiful the venue is. All the natural scenery, variety of spaces for people to hang out, and the epic back drop during golden hour kept everyone in awe both days. Then the barn was the perfect setting for everyone to dance into the night.Ed and Kelly and all the staff were amazing to work with. First of all, they are all genuinely nice people, and care about your special day being successful. We were in touch with them for over a year, and they were always responsive and flexible with how they could transform the space to exactly what we wanted it to be. All our interactions were easy going, yet highly professional. In the end, they well exceeded expectations when we hit a snag with one of our vendors on the wedding day (it’s going to happen!) – Ed personally took it upon himself to solve the issue for us.
Antoinette James: Beautiful Countryside, best kept secret
Tina Rowan Zoller: Frutig Farms was a dream wedding venue. Our wedding was at The Valley and we could not have asked for a more beautiful, magical place to get married. Everyone on staff was communicative and easy to work with throughout the planning process, especially Kaitlin, the venue coordinator, who patiently answered so many questions, coordinated all our vendors, and made sure everything ran smoothly during our wedding weekend.
Amit P: Very inviting and warm venue for weddings and receptions. It was a rainy day, so I appreciated the beautiful set up in the Barn.
Brian Petroski: This property and the staff far exceeded our expectations for our class reunion. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect. Plenty of space, restrooms, bars, and the tent have everyone places to spread out and enjoy each other. Big shout out to Sam, Gabby, Maddy, and Kelly for all that they were.
Mike Clark: My daughters Wedding reception was held there recently and it was amazing. The beautifully restored barn, surrounding, property, staff and owners were wonderful and all of our guests had a great time!!!!!
Hannah Manson: We had the most incredible experience having our wedding here!!! Kelly and Ed and their team were so great to work with leading up to the wedding and completely handled everything for us on the day of. They worked seamlessly behind the scenes to make everything work and dealt with several unpredicted obstacles effortlessly and without needing to worry us. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful place more highly. It was absolutely perfect.
Cyprian Blunt: It was a lot of fun! Barn was set up for dancing, and there were volleyball and other yard games.
Joshua Brainard: Did catering there. Nice scenery
Anita Akers: Went to a wedding there. But not enough tables in dance hall
Paul Lilla: Beautiful place and wonderful people to work with!
Natalie Anderson: Ed, Kelly & team- THANK YOU! We were originally scheduled to get married in June at a completely different venue and COVID completely changed that, but we could not be more thankful that things worked out the way that they did! We were married at Misty Farm, which is absolutely STUNNING. Ed & Kelly were so incredibly kind and helpful as we transitioned our wedding to this new venue, and they executed our vision perfectly! The staff was very professional and helpful throughout the evening. The sailcloth tent was a stunning bonus to the already stunning grounds.. honestly you can't go wrong! We highly recommend Frutig Farms- you will not be disappointed!
L Verduce: WOW! You knocked it out of the park.... thank you from the bottom of my heart. This venue is it... the staff rocked it! They pay attention to every detail! Look no further you won’t regret it.....Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart for making my daughters wedding a memory that will be thought of and talked about for years...... I am so impressed!Lonna
Michelle Murdoch: Our day was made so special due to the staff and Ed&Kelly Frutig! This is a beautiful piece of property that they share with you the whole weekend. Rental price includes the weekend so we were able to have rehearsal dinner there also! Magical! Just spectacular veiw of Gods country! A hidden gem in West Ann Arbor! 100% recommend
Arjun C: Went to a wedding here, it was beautiful and the wedding was amazing!
Kristy Van Bergen: Where to even begin!? My husband and I got married at The Valley earlier this past September and we can honestly say this was one of the best decisions of our entire lives. The stress of finding that perfect venue to get married at is pretty tough. We went venue touring for a few weeks, and as cliche as it sounds, when we first stepped foot on Frutig Farms-The Valley property we both looked at each other and said "we are getting married here." It has the most magical views, landscape is pristine, and the barn venue was absolutely perfect for the vibe that we intended to have. During our initial visit, Ed took us through the site and our mouths dropped with how PERFECT it was. Multiple spaces for ceremony options, indoor/outdoor, a dinner barn with beautiful barn doors and chandeliers, a reception barn with perfectly hung lights, multiple bar areas, bridal suites for both the girls and guys, want me to go on? It has EVERYTHING you could ever dream of. Both my husband and I's family has a huge tie to farms, and it was almost like this place was where we were meant to be. And this was all the feelings only on the initial meeting with Ed!Once we chose The Valley for our big day, the process was seamless. Both Ed and Kelly were there for us from the time we visited, to our big day. They both are the nicest humans and truly care for their clients. They are always available to answer questions, allow you to check out the space whenever you feel the need to, and help coordinate in all the ways you could think of. One amazing part about choosing Frutig Farms is that they put on a Wedding showcase where they bring in vendors for everything you could imagine on your big day (caterers, entertainment, stationary, deserts and pastries, florists etc.) This was so nice of them to offer and was beautifully put on. Professionalism is a good word to describe everything that Ed, Kelly and the Frutig Farms staff put forward. Not only are they professional, but so down to earth. We can happily say we have formed such a strong bond and friendship with this family through our wedding planning process that we plan on staying close for the years to come! The venue allows for a rehearsal dinner time the day before, and the staff is there to help as well. They take so much stress off of you, and that is beyond appreciated as a bride and groom who have to worry about all the other details of the big day. Linens? They place them. Table layout, they've got it! Bartenders? No worry, they will staff them! Transportation? They've got golf carts! Me, my dad, and my bridesmaids were all able to ride golf carts down to our ceremony space! Little details like this did not go unnoticed and we couldn't say thank you enough! The staff is hands down the best in the business. I can't tell you how many of our guests came up to us and said this was the best run wedding they have ever been to. Timing was PERFECT. Bartenders took the time to learn peoples names and their drink orders. During the wedding and reception Kelly made it a point to handle anything and everything we needed, without being asked to. Both Kelly, Ed, and their staff were always in positive spirits and were there until the very end of the night! From the start of our journey with wedding planning, to the very end, Ed, Kelly, and staff were there for us and supported us. That is all we could have ever wanted. If you are looking for a wedding venue with the best staff, professional and supportive owners, the most magical landscape, amenities galore, and the PERFECT wedding experience, go with Fruit Farms! If we could give this venue and staff 10 stars we would! We can't thank everyone involved with our wedding day enough, you all truly made our dreams come true. Cheers and we love you guys!-Kristy and Ryan Van Bergen
Ann Beurer: We had a wedding rehearsal and dinner Friday night. The wedding Saturday. Kelly and her staff were amazing. Special mention to (Maddie) who is awesome. Having your celebration here is worth every penny you will spend. Their service was over the top.Thank you,Ann Beurer
Cristina Galvan: Our wedding was 6/8/19 at Misty Farms. Everything was fantastic! From the 1st day we met Ed Frutig last year to tour Misty, up until the day of our wedding, the frutig family and staff was amazing! This family owned business was a delight to work with, very organized, courteous, friendly and polite! You can tell they take pride in their business and their farm and treat your wedding as if it was their own. There are no words to describe the on site coordinator for Misty Farms, Suzy! She was amazing to work with and extremely organized, patient, calm and extremely good at her job. She deserves a raise in my opinion!!!I can't say enough nice things about Frutig Farms, the farm is beautiful and it exceeded my expectations. I will never forget the frutig family and my beautiful and wonderful wedding day! Thank you Ed and the whole staff @ Frutig Farms/Misty Farms!!!
Kathy Gabriel: Our daughters wedding was at the Valley 6/29/2019. The staff was fabulous. Barb, our coordinator took care of everything I needed. I was so pleased with everything. It was beautiful.
Tom: My wife and I hosted a November wedding at The Valley this year. This is a beautiful venue which can accommodate any weather conditions. Having a separate dining area from the wedding ceremony and dance floor works out exceptionally well. The large kitchen area is perfect to host a large event. The venue in its entirety is absolutely perfect. We were blessed with a beautiful fall day but this venue willl allow transfer to dining area to barn without going outside if weather is poor.I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Barb and all the staff work to make sure your event is perfect. Kelly and Ed were a pleasure to work with and were very accommodating to all of our needs. I did see a comment on not having enough room for dancing. We used the large floor area in the barn for dancing and there was plenty of room and all had a great time! We hosted 135 people and almost all stayed and participated in dancing. We could have easily accommodated more people. My thanks to all at the valley for helping to make this the perfect day. In hindsight I would absolutely host the wedding at The Valley again and would not change a thing.
Amber Badour: I recently attended a wedding at the Valley (which I was excited for never been but drive by alot) I was really disappointed. It was Michigan's 1st blizzard so my kids and I were dropped off at the door and as soon as I walked in some lady ( im guessing she runs the place) starts yelling at me to be seated that's fine but I couldn't find a spot for 6 people so she yells at me again very rudely so I explained I'm looking for spots to put everyone so she rolls her eyes at me and screams at me again. Not to mention I had my arms full of coats it would have been nice if she offered to take them from me but no she didn't offer I didn't find out about the coat room after dinner ( dinner was also horrible experience and that catering is getting a bad review next). Also Not to mention the place was freezing I know it's a barn but for the amount they paid you would think they would let us use some heat. And the floor was literally wood if ive known I wouldn't have worn heels because I spent most of the time getting stuck. Again the price you pay you would think they had a decent dance floor. I know you pay extra for chairs and table it would of been nice to have the option to sit down during the reception. The whole experience was awful from the valley to the catering down to the d.j.

Gladwin Center: what do users think?
BERNADETTE “MsB” PAULING: An old farm building with a well done meeting area, with a full kitchen, serving and dining area. There is a stage with microphones and A drum set, and bathroom. If the party overflows, there's a large patio with seating that overlooks the back fields. It will be beautiful when everything blooms. There are a LOT of interesting metal, wooden, and stone sculptures, inside and out. A very nice venue. Only 4 stars because it was difficult to maneuver a motorized wheelchair up stairs.
Miranda Joynt: This was a great place for a bridal shower.
Marie Lenhardt: This was a beautiful lodge/barn with a lot of character! Kitchen and bathroom were very well appointed. Large "great room" with a stage and dancing area.

Kimberly Warren: Nice place for a gathering
Jennifer Tislerics: A lovely, calming environment!

Cobblestone Farm: what do users think?
Shane Daniel: Great for kids to play ~ a community garden and lots of paths to run/walk....
Claire Eder: We had the good fortune of booking our wedding at Cobblestone in early March 2020, right before everything went nuts. We delayed the wedding by a year, from spring 2021 to spring 2022, and Cobblestone was very accommodating of our new date. Connor was incredibly helpful in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, while they were trying to figure out how to host events safely, and guidelines were shifting due to COVID levels. They kept us in the loop about their COVID restrictions and helped us plan a safe, fun day at their spectacular venue! The outdoor space was lovely, welcoming, and unpretentious, with so many unique spots to hold the ceremony, take pictures, and set up an outdoor happy hour. And our guests got a kick out of the geese :) The barn is absolutely perfect for a wedding--it has the rustic charm of a barn but it's totally modern in terms of amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and they really went above and beyond to help us plan our day. As someone who grew up in the neighborhood and spent time at Cobblestone when I was a kid, I'm so glad we got married at this beautiful gem of local history.
Juan Crespo: We had an event scheduled in October 2021 that we had booked since April 2020. Once capacity restrictions were lifted in Michigan, we called and asked if everything was good to go for our event, but after many unanswered phone calls and emails, we got very wishy-washy responses and it sounded like they might still cancel our event. We booked a backup venue after that conversation, and I'm glad we did. Less than 2 months before our reception, they canceled all events for the rest of 2021. While we got a full refund, the staff was extremely unsupportive and lacked proper communication. I could have understood a vaccine/testing policy for their events as we know the current situation is no joke, but to completely cancel on such short notice was short-sighted on their part and left many people scrambling.
Barb McCarter: The staff at Cobblestone Farms are the absolute worst people in the world to deal with for this life changing event. My daughter’s wedding was scheduled for 9/11/2021. On 8/23/2021, they sent an email implementing new very strict covid protocols that pushed my daughter and her future husband to change EVERY EVENT DETAIL to have the event take place outside. Just 4 days later, on 8/27/2021 they received a second email, CANCELLING the entire event. Cobblestone personnel CANCELLED their wedding after the details to move everything outdoors had been successfully changed, just 15 days before their wedding date of 9/11/2021.Not only did they cancel the event 15 days before it was scheduled to happen, they did it by email on a Friday just before 5pm. No phone call, and at best a pathetic explanation as to why they felt justified to do so. The people that work at Cobblestone are selfish, unprofessional, and should not be employed at such a venue if they care so little for the community or customers they are serving. If you are thinking about having a wedding or event at an outdoor site in the Ann Arbor area, look anywhere else as Cobblestone Farm is a nightmare to deal with.
Mike Mourer: Moved 5 of our goats to Cobblestone Farm to clean up some brush behind the barn.
Emily Freeland: Such a cute quiet spot to walk.
Stephanie Dulz: Jessica Black from cobblestone is an angel. During our wedding planning process she was quick to respond even though you could tell she had a large workload. She was a joy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The facility is gorgeous. If you’re a DIY bride this is the perfect place because it is a blank slate venue. No other services aside from tabled, chairs, and the venue are offered but that was a plus for us. Unfortunate, they did have to cancel our wedding due to COVID but we received every penny back including our deposit without questions. I would recommend this place 100%
Joshua Polaczyk: Got married there in 2012. A beautiful spot for a moderately sized wedding/reception. There are a lot of rules about noise, crowd size and timing of use. But it’s Beautiful inside and out, and a great place to get married in the heart of the city.
Clayton Blackwell: Very nice grounds!
Bruce Geffen: Great place with historic importance!
John Perrotta: Loved the barn and all the staff were vary professionally and polite. I would highly recommend planning an event here.
Chawn Aray: Two events. Two different events. Two different caterers. I took 2 photos. It didn't matter how hungry I was. The money and wealth in the room must have been shocked about the cuisine. Presentation - awful. Temperature of food - Cold. Poor carrots, too bland. I felt so sorry for them. One of the servers was so angry. I knew I had to send her good vibes. OMG! I wonder how much this caterer was paid to feed over 200+ folks???
Rowan Higgins: Cool
Jeffrey Harvey (Studio Tembo): Fine event space
Tim Govier: Very nice venue. Attended my grandson's wedding here.
Riley Lulich: Beautiful venue, helpful staff, easy access to the space. There's a nice kitchen to cook in, a bit small if you have a full team going, but perfect for a small/med event. I was here for a wedding and it was delightful.
Thomas Driver: Went to a wedding reception there very nice place
Jeremy Duford: Attending a wedding of a close friend at this location. A pale white male employee with hair dyed blue was caught multiple times going through people's belongings in the groom and groomsmen's personal changing room.
Gary Trowbridge: Beautiful site for any occasion. Was there for a memorial service of a lost friend. We like it a lot and host several occasions a year there.
Kimberley Iannelli: We were there for my daughter's best friends wedding and it was perfect! Everything was clean and we had a great time the staff stayed on top of things as needed, like he stocked the ladies room when it ran out of tp and was very nice to me when I asked him if he could. Thanks so much!
Christopher Maassen: Great place for you special events.
